If you ever want to be a mystic then this book's for you.

The practise of getting up at 4:00 a.m. for Amrit Vela, which means the hour of nectar is something that's done by Sikhs and the Brahma Kumaris. If anyone else does it then you can tell me about it. I don't know.

There's something really special about getting up in the morning when everyone else is quiet. The world is sleeping. There's kind of a very pure atmosphere. It's a great chance to clear your mind and connect with God. God is there especially for us at this time

The texts in this book are taken from the Avyakt Murlis of the Brahma Kumaris. They have been cherry-picked to include the information about Amrit Vela. The Murlis span between around 1979 to 1986. They're actually very good. I mean, they're the word of God so why wouldn't it be? But aside from that, there's a lot of depth. There's a lot of psychology, a lot of really profound guidance as to how to reach, for example, the seed stage which is a state where you're just being the essence of what you are: a soul and connecting with God in the same form

I can't say I've ever been really successful with connecting with God at Amrit Vela, but this book makes it more likely that I will be better in the future. Thanks to the compliers. Thanks to God.
