Abbie Bennet is a twenty year old bookworm who considers herself well-balanced and sensible. Her heart and intuition agree on most things and she has no intention of upsetting this for anyone. When she ventures out of her comfort zone to join her friends at a local bar, her balance is knocked way off course by a stranger who is everything her mother, and intuition, have warned her about.

I found Abbie quite relatable - a good girl who grew up going to church who was generally stable and sensible. I understand the attraction of bad boys, but my motherly instinct kicked in and I wanted to warn her off him just like her mother did.

A quick, easy read with an ending that left me scrabbling for the next book in the series.

This is such a beautiful book. The story of Abbie Bennett who falls desperately in love, but soon discovers how complicated life can be and sometimes love isn't enough.

I absolutely loved reading this character as she learned about what she wanted most in life and found the courage to fight for it.

There are plenty of sweet moments in this story, as well as some heart break but the characters definitely steal the show. Highly recommended!

Abbie loves reading romance books to replace the love she feels she has missing in real life. Then she goes to a club with her girlfriends and meets Valentine the lead singer in the band playing at the club. As far as Abbie is concerned real life does not mimic romance novels, so the quicker she gets Valentine out of her thoughts the better she will be.
The more I read the more I realized I may have misjudged Valentine and his intentions where Abbie was concerned. If you had to choose between having children or be with the man you love which would you choose. I can’t understand why Valentine believes what he does where children are concerned but suddenly there is no decision to make as it’s taken out of Abbie’s hands. Abbie has let her past ruin what she may have had with Valentine.
Zane comes back into Abbie’s life and tries to help her, eventually asking Abbie to marry him and as much as they love each other and Zane’s shock admission on who he really is Abbie is still not sure it will work between them.
In the meantime Valentine comes back into Abbie’s life and just as she thinks everything will now be better she wakes up to devastating news about Zane…then I read the words…’to be continued’ and felt devastated myself.
Lucky for all of us Ms Dennis is not going to keep us waiting long for the next book and what happens to Zane.

Twenty-Something Abbie stumbles upon love, but is it as good as the romance books she reads? Motor-bike riding, tattoo-covered, singer, Valentine is the epitome of the type of man her mother has always warned her about. Abbie led by her heart, and intuition (who rarely agree!) falls head over heels. The romance scenes are just so immediate, when Abbie's got her arms wrapped around Valentine on the back of the bike, you feel you're right there with them. But true love never runs smooth. Valentine, street smart, and older has a past, that's set to clash with Abbie's ideal future...and then another character is introduced. Abbie's torn between so many things, I felt for her! I won't give anything else away except to say, hurry up book 2! This book took me back to my own 20s, and all the conflicted emotions first love brings. Loved it.

From the opening paragraph, this is a fast paced and easy read, throwing me straight into the lives of Abbie and Valentine. Told by Abbie, the story is treated with respect and love. Abbie is a rather naive young woman living away from home and experiencing life mostly through her friends and her romance books. Meeting bad boy Valentine changes all of that, challenging Abbie on levels she wouldn't have dreamed of. The twists and turns in Abbie's life show an inner strength that she is unaware of. The characters are real and interesting and the emotion grows as the story progresses. Looking forward to reading Absolution to find out what happens next.

Abbie Bennet is a sweet young girl. She's been raised in a secure home and she leaves the nest to live together with her best friend at the age of 20. Abbie is someone who likes her peace and quiet. She enjoys reading romance novels, drinks no alcohol, has a big loyal heart and loves to paint and sketch. When her friends persuade her to go clubbing she meets Valentine. He is the singer of a band. She is not looking for love and absolutely not looking to fall in love with a bad boy. Even though they hardly talked to each other she's lost from the moment she laid eyes on him.

When Valentine spots Abbie in the crowd he falls in love with her instantly. He is not the ultimate bad boy that everybody thinks he is. OK..he is married and getting divorced, he has a young son and he rides a bike but he has a good heart. Losing his mother has formed him and he truly wants to do good. He and Abbie fall madly in love together and can’t be apart from each other for very long.

You should think that there would be nothing in this world that could separate Abbie and Valentine! Well, think again...

I loved this book from the very beginning. Abbie is such a sweetheart, so I could relate to her very easily. She deserves to be loved and she deserves to be cherished. When she shares her dreams for the future with Valentine they discover that they are not on the same page.

In the beginning I liked Valentine a lot too. I liked the way he treats Abbie and how he makes her feel special every single day. During the story I found out that he has more flaws than I expected. I started to dislike him because of the choices he makes. This book finishes with an open ending, leaving it to the reader to speculate on what will happen next, please I hope that I am wrong about my thoughts. If my thinking is right than that would devastate Abbie and I sincerely wonder if she would recover. I can't wait to find out what will happen next...

Sweet story for the hopeless romantic.

Infinite Completion is a beautifully written novella, where you can see Dennis is a complete romantic at heart. Although I thought Abbie and Valentine's relationship moved a little too quickly, I thought to myself that well...sometimes love moves fast and that's okay.

I enjoyed that Abbie was an easily liked character, as was Valentine, but I thought towards the end that Abbie was completely blinded and stubborn...she wanted Valentine to come back to her, but SHE was the one saying no, so that was slightly frustrating for me personally.

If you're a romantic and enjoy a sweet read, than Infinite Completion is the one for you. The characters are easily identifiable, the writing doesn't overcomplicate things, and the story premise is creative...I'm keen for Book 2 to see how Valentine feels about Abbie's relationship with Zane, especially given he thinks they were 'together'...much to see how everything pans out!

Abbie is like a lot of us. She lives and dreams about the book boyfriends she reads about. Her mother's words of wisdom about men has her questioning real men. That is till she meets Valentine. His charismatic words and deadly body makes her fight a losing battle between her mother's advice and her intuition. The world Michelle has created walked me through the my own memories of the what if. A beautiful story of love, loss and redemption with a sweet touch of happily ever after.

I bought this book at a charity luncheon held by the talented Western Australian author, Michelle Dennis, and what a good thing too. This is a no-nonsense easy read which has two great main characters going through mixed emotions of falling in and out of love.

It's a true to life reflection of simply falling head first in love and then figuring out how to make it last.

Looking forward to reading the second book in the series.

A lovely young adult romance. Easy to read and the perfect rainy day quick read. The author has a wonderful innocence in her writing which is refreshing. I am looking forward to the sequel
