A joyful biography celebrating a wonderful, admirable and fascinating character. Some biographies are very detailed and quote every available source and written newspaper review of use only to a scholar. Others are purile and almost offensive in their attempt to paint a pretty picture glossing over the more difficult parts of their subjects life. I think Joy got it just right. Not to scholarly but not too adoring of a subject who is very charismatic. Really enjoyed it.
