I’m really enjoying the story and the art in this series. I was doubtful at the beginning but it is definitely winning me over. Looking forward to the next volume.

This newest run and take on the gorgeously deadly Pamela Isley might be the most existential, colorfully trippy, and tensely horror ridden runs of hers to date and maybe of most female leads in general and honestly with every TP I devour in this series, the more the pieces continue to fall better into place and its climactic culmination in the ending chapter of this collected issue was just chilling and left me on such an intense cliffhanger I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one and I feel I can’t undoubtedly say this is quintessential Poison Ivy and I couldn’t be more here for it now. 4.5/5

Yes! Much stronger volume. Focused back on the horror aspect. Also how great is Croc and Poison Ivy as besties? Love it so. The art change can be jarring.

I feel like this has been going somewhere, but then I read stupid dialogue between Croc and Ivy and think wtf....If you enjoyed the Swamp Thing storyline prior about the Green you may like this one.

I totally forgot to write a review for this one back when I read it. My fuzzy memory suggests it was an improvement on the previous volume, but still had too much dreamy stuff with Ivy battling physical manifestations of her nightmares.

That said, it definitely also had a ton of gruesome body horror. Jason Woodrue returns in gross form.

Definitely staying interested in this storyline and where it's going. Ivy is just too damn cool! Also like that we get some cameos from Catwoman and Batman. Croc and Ivy as besties?! Love it! And the Solomon Grundy appearance was unexpected but welcomed... if to just show how Janet from HR freaks out.. made me chuckle. The ending?! Need more!

I really enjoy this series. Some of the panels are just so gorgeous. Huge fan of the art style. Storywise I wasn't expecting Ivy and Croc to be friends but I love that?? Ivy and Batman have a solid dynamic too. Tbh I would enjoy the story more if we didn't have the Harley and Janet from HR cheating/probs eventually throuple subplot happening. I enjoy Harley and Ivy and they had some cute panels in previous volumes but in this one, I just wanted Ivy to focus on her cure and the exploration of her accidental apocalypse

3.75 stars. I’m still enjoying this series, and I’m enjoying where it seems to be going for the most part. Unfortunately, the changeup in art for the last couple issues brings my feelings about this one down quite a bit. Bonus points for Grundy and Batman appearances, but this one lost a lot of the horror that it was so strong in before. Hoping for a return of that with the next volume.

Якщо пам'ятаєте на минулий том серії про Отруйного Плюща випав перехідний період в якому серія перейшла від лімітки з 6 номерів до лімітки з 12 і до повноцінної тривалки. Тоді я відмічав, що це скоріш за все вплинуло на певні моменти в серії через які другий томик відчувався набагато слабшим за перший. Тож, давайте дізнаємося чи вдалося Джей Вілов Вілсон виправити ситуацію.

Перший сюжет в серії, який триває з 13 по 15 номер розповідає про те як Айві після повернення до Ґотему вирішує знайти собі місце в якому можна було б залягати на дно, поки її переслідує Бет-родина. Вибір припадає на хижку, яка знаходиться на болоті Різні неподалік від міста. Проблема полягає в тому, що місце уже зайняв Кілер Крок, який готовий віддати місце Памелі, якщо вона знищить апартаменти для багатих які будуть над місцем де він колись жив. Айві погоджується, однак коли прибуває на місце, то виявляється, що ця багатоповерхівка не така проста як може здатися, на перший погляд. Мені цей сюжет сподобався, тамєниця навколо апартаментів та їх власника вийшла досить цікавою, крім того, він дає нам нового антагоніста для Плющихи. Було дуже приємно побачити Крока, якого я дуже люблю. Навіть був непоганий момент з тим як Джанет з ейчару зустріла Бетмена. Єдиний, що в цьому сюжеті у мене викликало певні сумніви це те, що Джанет поцілувала Гарлі, в купі з тим, що було в минулій арці, я дуже сподіваюся, що Вілсон не робити з цього драму в дусі Сідабу.

16 номер розповідає про долю одного з людей, якого Памела заразила спорами в перших номерах. Загалом вийшла досить цікава історія, яка показала неочікувані наслідки дій нашої екотерортстки, а також нову загрозу на найближчі декілька номерів. Щодо малюнку Марсіо Такари, то я продовжую говорити, що якщо люди у нього нормальними виходять раз через раз то от психоделічні сцени завжди виглядають прикольно. Моєю головною проблемою є те, що Вілсон продовжує тягнути лінію зі спорами з перших номерів.

17 і 18 номери розповідають про те як Айві намагається встигнути створити антидот, разом із Кроком, Джанет та Соломоном Ґранді (який теж живе на болоті) поки люди які внаслідок зараження спорами перетворилися на зомбі не прийшли до Ґотему по неї, однак ситуацію ускладнює кількість заражених та сильні болі в животі. Знову ж таки маємо хороші номери за подіями в яких було цікаво спостерігати. Тут у нас змінили художника, а тому маємо досить милий та приємний малюнок Луани Веккіно. Основна моя претензія вилізає у самому кінці у вигляді кліфгенґері, оскільки авторка тут знову тягне дещо з перших номерів сюди

Загалом третя арка Отруйного Плюща повертає серію на хороший шлях. За сюжетом та героями мені було цікаво спостерігати, а доповнення до супортинґ касту Айві тільки радують. Щодо моїх проблем з цією серією то все залежить від того як авторка з ними розбереться в наступному томі.

The Ivy comic continues to deliver interesting stories!
Starts with Croc being run out of his sewers, and Ivy wanting to have a getaway place of her own in his new spot in Slaughter Swamp. Helping him leads to a very odd man who reminded me of Mr. Bloom, who traps Ivy in a building made of biosteel. Ivy gets very powered up in a "god mode" form from time to time. A plague of Lamia mushrooms is making its way to Gotham and Ivy is using her blood to make an antidote to stop it, but she is having pains of her own.... Floronic Man is not digested from when she ate him, and he births himself from her....
The next Volume should be crazy!!!

A bit better than volume 2 but still fails to reach the heights of the first. I thought this new bad guy they were setting up was going to be Mr. Bloom from Scott Snyder’s Batrun, but when his identity and origin were revealed, it was a let down. I’m still missing some of the darker edge the first volume had. But, the “dream” issue in the middle was a real highlight and more closely matched the tone of the first arc. Also, the body horror ending has me excited for what’s next.the art is solid throughout, but Marcio Takarra is really missed when there is a full in artist, no matter how strong there work is.

Undine corporation creates rich people condos in Gotham using a new type of steel that makes people crazy and sometimes turns them into flowers (connecting them to the green) - really interesting and socially aware story- poison ivy is the best she’s ever been… I don’t know how I feel about her being “pregnant” with Woodrue’s baby

The Harley / HR Janet/ poison ivy triangle is spicy and interesting to say the least. I hope everyone ends up okay… Harley and ivy mentally and Janet physically

This third collection of G. Willow Wilson’s Poison Ivy proves to be the most engaging. The ‘monster of the week’ story connecting the main plot is stronger and more interesting than the previous two volumes. The horror aspects of The Green are amped up and Ivy’s team ups, whilst a bit random, are fun. I still think this series could go more horror in tone but it’s still fun regardless.

The G. Willow Wilson Poison Ivy series continues to be great.
Ivy trying to fix the problems she caused is interesting. But the whole thing has that wacky hint to ensure things are not so serious the story is not worth reading.

I continue to absolutely adore this series. Pam is such a relatable and sympathetic character and I love reading about her. I also thought Killer Croc was a great addition to this story. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what happens in the next volume.
