One misunderstood Alpha. One broken Omega. One heartbreaking bond.

Haunted by years of abuse at the hands of his psychotic brother, Evan finds himself at the bottom of the food chain as an Omega. Despite being given a fresh start in the sanctuary of a new pack, his past lingers no matter how many times he asks the Moon Goddess for guidance and forgiveness.

When Evan meets the new Alpha of Rainewood pack, rumoured to have the deadliest father known to their world, he wasn’t expecting the tall, lean, and heavily tattooed man to be his fated mate.

Caleb is cold, distant, and ruthless, leaving most wolves trembling in fear. But beneath Caleb’s hard exterior is a man fighting a war of his own, desperate to escape the shadow of the monster who raised him. His alleged reputation says one thing, but his heart says another, and yet, no one fully understands him.

Evan knows he’s no match for Caleb, but fighting their matebond feels impossible, even in a world where being together will cause more harm than good. Caleb knows he’s playing a dangerous game, but when it comes to his mate, it’s time to fight for what he truly wants.

ARC Review

This was one hell of a story. 🥺

Evan and Caleb 🥹😭. I love both of them and the journey’s these two go on together and individually, are freakin painful 😭😭

At the start neither really wants to accept that fate has chosen to bless them as each other’s mates. They fight it neither wanting to let the other in to see what they’re dealing with. 🥺

Evan. 😖🥺. Oof, what a freakin character. I’ve never fallen so quickly into protective mode reading from a characters perspective.

But with him it was instant. I haven’t read the previous two books. I feel like maybe if I had, some of the things mentioned at the start would have made a little more sense.

The way he struggles not only at the start but throughout this story. Broke my heart in so many ways. I’m honestly surprised it’s still beating after this read. 🥺

It’s unheard of for a book to have me full on sobbing but this one did it to me. 😭😭😭

The way Caleb was around him as the story progressed was beautiful to watch. He became the lighthouse Evan needed in the ever crash waves his mental health put him through.

Caleb is strong and an almost intimidating person. At moments it’s even shown how intimidating some shifters think he is because of his reputation and his father’s.

With Evan although he’s still intimidating, he’s also able to let a part of himself out that he can’t around, even his friends.

Even as they fight against their ever growing bond. Caleb never intentionally hurt him. Even when he started to push him away to protect him from his power obsessed father.

That man 😤😤😤🤬🤬🤬. There isn’t enough words in the dictionary to describe the intense hatred I have for him 🤬🤬🤬

He was an amazing villain. One I wouldn’t tire from watching get his karma thrown on him a hundred times over 😤😤😤

This story was emotionally intense and will have you staring at the wall in some parts, screaming at others, laughing at some and sobbing throughout.

PLEASE CHECK YOUR TRIGGERS… MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS…
There is a extensive list at the bottom on this review but please be aware there could be others

Evan is our omega MMC who has been beat and broken by his psychotic brother, which has of course left a lot of deep rooted trauma. But with some love and attention he re wires his brain one affirmation at a time.

Caleb is our alpha MMC who is so misunderstood and has had a bad past due to his crazy father who is trying to force him to have an heir. But that’s not going to happen when he finds his mate in Evan.

These 2 definitely go through plenty of trails to be together. From crazy kidnapping fathers, to mental health issues. Helping to improve one another and give each other the best life they can one day at a time.

I loved this book! Evan’s journey with his mental health was written beautifully and very realistically, and it was one of my favorite parts of this story. Healing is not linear, and that is something that plays a heavy role in Evan’s story. I also really enjoyed Caleb’s journey with accepting his emotions, but also how his relationship with Evan and his struggles was portrayed as something Caleb needed to fix, but something that he could help Evan with. He never tried to make Evan change for himself, but for Evan’s own personal benefit. Even when it got hard and they had to be apart, Caleb was always putting Evan’s mental health and healing first. Overall, this was a wonderful book about finding love in the darkness and how you can always find your inner strength.

Thank you to the author for providing this arc!

This was a good read! I always enjoy seeing the different politics and interworking of a pack and I really liked seeing the similarities and differences between Jaxon and Caleb’s pack regarding dynamics as well as how they were as Alphas.

It was sad to see the aftermath of Evan’s past and the struggles Caleb had to deal with when it came to his dad but it was nice to see these two come together and be so supportive of one another.

I appreciated that both of them decided they needed additional resources to help them deal with their experiences and it was great seeing them take the necessary steps. The side characters were great (mostly) and I’m glad I picked this up!

This book has been calling my name, just with the tropes. But I did not expect it to wreck my heart the way it did. From page one, Evan and Caleb had me feeling everything from heartbreak to pain to sadness. Like I knew I was going to get a happy ending, but for the first thirty percent or so, it was just ruination all the way.

But then we started getting glimpses of hope and joy, and the love? It was just bursting from the pages. Evan and Caleb may have had a rough start, but once they give into those feelings, it made all those hard emotions worth it. They're opposites in so many ways, but the way they put each other first and constantly made space for the others well-being, even if it's a detriment to their own, just showed exactly why fate paired them up. But just when things feel like the worst is over, the big bad returns and turns everything upside down.

This book is a whirlwind of a ride. It made me feel such a wide range of emotions and I loved it all. It does plateau a bit in the middle, but it picks back up pretty well. One of my favorite things, was Evan's mental health journey. It always makes me happy when love isn't used a cure-all, and characters get the proper help they need and deserve. Evan is a caretaker at heart and just pure sunshine, but he's been through some horrible things that stifles all of that. To see him build himself back up, brick by brick, was real and raw. It made me cry multiple times, but to see him find himself and his own self-worth the way he did was really beautiful.

The way these two support and love each other is so pure and magical. They both have such harrowing pasts, but to see them move forward into a life of light and joy made me incredibly happy. This book is intense and emotional. It made me laugh and cry and left me feeling an abundance of joy. Though it's part of a series, it can be read as a standalone. So, if you're like me and you love wolf shifters and fated mates, just dive right into this wonderful book!

omg i loved this book! The Alphas Getaway is the 3rd book in the Fated Souls series where we follow our first MMC Evan as he tries to find his place in his new pack and our second MMC Caleb as he steps up to run a new pack and tries to gain their trust. We watch through their eyes as fate pushes them together but when their love becomes dangerous we watch as they fight, heal and find each other.

Oh I loved these two! I loved watching them together, seeing their separate journeys but also watching them heal. Both these characters are such complex and deep feeling characters and are both honestly so inspiring! Watching Evan find his way and healing after struggling for so long was so inspiring! I really loved watching his journey because of how real and raw it was! I also really loved watching Caleb’s journey! Watching him fight to protect his people and the people he loves was just so amazing! Ugh and then them together was just pure magic! I am obsessed with them!

Oh savanna steals my heart with her writing again! This book was such a blast! It been so long since I’ve read a shifter romance so I’m honestly so glad it was this one because it reminded me why I love this trope so damn much! Savanna does an amazing job tying everything together to make the story cohesive so it’s such a good read! She also does an amazing job putting you in the story directly, the way my heart was melting but also pounding out of my chest half the time was honestly crazy but in a good way!! I can’t wait to read more by savanna in the future because I know I won’t be disappointed!

Overall, such an amazing and fun read! I’d like to thank Savanna Rose for the amazing ARC! Looking forward to reading more from her in the future!! 🔪💜🌕

🐺 The Alphas Getaway by Savanna Rose 🐺

“There’s no living without you.”

wow. this book surprised me, in the very best way. such a beautiful read. honestly.. i think this is another six out of five star read for me, and i don’t say that lightly! i KNEW from the dedication page that this book was going to destroy me, and it did (but don’t worry, they get their hard earned HEA 🤍).

Evan is an Omega, Caleb is an Alpha, and they have both been through more trauma than anyone ever deserves. poor, sweet baby Evan deals with some serious PTSD/depression due to his awful (thankfully now 💀) brother, and Caleb has to deal with being misunderstood due to his reputation given by his father (an awful PSYCHOPATH named Ryker. seriously. F*CK RYKER, I HATE THAT GUY.)

when Evan and Caleb meet, neither of them wants to accept the fact that they are fated mates. i actually kind of loooove when they first start interacting because Evan is so sassy towards him (which is uncharacteristic at that point due to him usually being the type to let others walk all over him). Caleb is kind of an ass but we later realize that he’s had to keep a tight leash on his emotions due to his father having 🌀mind control powers🌀.

honestly, i cried so much over these two boys. but as much agony and loss as there may have been, there was just as much healing and love to make up for it. i think Caleb and Evans story will leave a lasting mark on me 🤍

some tidbits:
🐺 wolf shifters (no Mpreg)
🐺 mental health rep
🐺 fated mates
🐺 “Eleven” mentioned (I SCREAMED)🩸
🐺 secret relationship
🐺 lots of therapy (including rage art 🖼️)
🐺 tattoos & piercings
🐺 “Pups”
🐺 spicy lessons with bananas 🍌

scent profiles:
🍒Evan: fresh cotton and sweet cherries 🍒
⛽️Caleb: gasoline and wild berries⛽️

I loved the first two books in this series and was so excited when I saw we finally get another one!

"My pain hurts, but his pain is excrutiating."

This was my first MM romance and oh my I didn't know it would be so wholesome! These two went through a lot to be together but the love between them was so strong and beautiful.

"I just..." he starts. "I need to be close to you."

It felt so good to be back in this world and read about some favorite characters from the other books but also get to know some amazing new ones.

"You have so many tattoos." "Yeah." I nod as I focus on his eyes. "Think I've got some you haven't seen up close yet."

Evan and Caleb were perfect for each other. Both were strong and caring in their own way and wanted to protect the people they love.
They both had a traumatic past with their families and tried to cope with it in different ways.

"Do you like torturing me?"
"When you look this adorable? Yes."

There was so much angst, sadness and yearning. This story dealt with some heavy themes so please check the TW before you dive in. The mental health rep was so well done. The problems didn't just disappear because they found love and support, they actively needed to work on themselves.

"Your heart is beating because you're alive, exactly where you're meant to be. You are so much more than you think you are, pups. Live. Don't miss out on a single thing."

"You see me and that's all I've wanted. And I had to get you back because I can't do life without you when I know what it's like to exist with you."

The Alphas getaway by Savanna Rose, is a MM shifter romance that follows our MCs Evan and Caleb. Their story is one of tragedy, love, and healing. Evan and Caleb both had to overcome inner battles, and outward ones, to find their happy ending together. This book did an amazing job at mental health rep and showed how messy life can get. With that in mind, make sure to check trigger warnings if you decide to check this story out. If you love a good paranormal romance, with shifters, fated mates, lots of heartbreak with a happily ever after, then definitely pick this up!

I absolutely adored Evan and Caleb, especially Evan as I related to him quite a bit. As someone who has struggled with their mental health and SH for as long as I can remember, seeing that portrayed so well in a character made me feel so seen and happy. The journey he goes on just within his mind is awe inspiring and really made this book for me. I loved all the characters in this story, except Caleb's father… when I catch you… ahem anyway.

I think there might have been one instance where I felt a little confused by something written, but other than that the writing was great! It was a super smooth read, the chapters were the perfect length, and the pacing felt just right. The plot was super sad at times but really fun at the same time. Savanna Rose really knows how to balance out those sad moments with happy ones.

I wanna say thank you to the author for sending me an ARC copy of this story, I had so much fun reading it!

💜🐺 THE ALPHA'S GETAWAY - SAVANNA ROSE 🐺💜

(arc review)

firstly, i want to thank savanna for giving me the opportunity to review an e-arc of her new book! i absolutely love hyping up an indie author.

i kept seeing little snippets of this book around last month and decided to take the chance in applying for an arc. if you know me, you know that my favourite flavour of mmc is one who is a little broken but absolutely beautiful to their core. all of the excerpts i had seen were screaming "this is for you! you would love this!" and you know what? they weren't wrong.

the alpha's getaway is a paranormal romance about wolf shifters. this was my first dabble with this specific genre and it was so good, you guys! (i promise i will go back and read book one and two)

the mmc's of this book were both so well written with such deep backstories. Caleb is a fantastic leader and an even more incredible mate. but i need to take a minute to truly gush about my sweet baby angel, evan.

as someone who struggles with anxiety and depression, seeing the careful way savanna handled his struggles and his recovery was just so amazing to read. he was such a good person but his demons were just so loud in his head. but thankfully, my sweet boy was surrounded by an incredible support system to worked together to get him the help he deserved.

i really adored this book and the characters. i will absolutely have to go back and read the first two to fill some of the gaps i might be missing from the story but i truly enjoyed this book!

the alpha's getaway is out on march 27th!

"A future with you is all I want."

4.5 stars

Savanna Rose really saved her best writing for last as this was my favorite book of the series! You should know that this story was dark and dealt with some heavy themes, but the emotional connection between Evan and Caleb was absolutely sublime. Both Evan and Caleb have traumatic pasts surrounding their families and dealt with them in different ways. The moment they realized they were fated mates was surrounded by so much angst, disbelief, and yearning, and all of these emotions were made more complicated by the threat of Caleb's father. I loved how supportive and protective Caleb was once he let Evan in; he would do anything to protect Evan and demonstrated this freely, while Evan became Caleb's sanctuary and light in the darkness. They complimented each other so well, and I loved seeing them finally get their HEA🖤

Tropes: fated mates, grumpy/sunshine, broody and protective hero, outcast hero with a traumatic past, forbidden love, forced proximity, hate-to-love-you, hurt/comfort, 'fuck it' moment, mental health rep, dark themes (self-harm), mutual pining, pierced peen🍆, good boy, praise kink, found family, STEAMY🔥

Trigger warning: depression, suicidal thoughts/ideation, self-harm, physical/mental abuse from family members, torture/captivity

Before I share how much I loved Evan and Caleb’s love story, I want to note that this story deals with some very deep, dark emotions and actions, so please be sure to check the trigger warnings before reading.

I’ve been excited for this ARC since the book was announced, and it absolutely delivered (and more)! Evan and Caleb’s relationship is one full of love, heartbreak, and healing. I really enjoyed watching their relationship grow throughout the book. Both had reasons to believe their love wouldn’t work, but instead of letting that break them, they found ways to support and heal with each other, all while falling deeply in love.

What stood out most to me was how they leaned on each other without becoming dependent. They didn’t let their relationship distract them from their own healing. Both prioritized themselves so they could be the best versions they could be. It made their love story feel even more real and meaningful.

I can say with absolute certainty that I will be re-reading this book. Evan and Caleb’s journey is a powerful reminder that love can be a source of strength and growth, even through pain. I’m really glad I got to read their story early, and I’m excited to see what Savanna releases next!

Thank you to Savanna for the ARC!

Caleb and Evan, have owned my heart since I first read them and I am still obsessed 🥹 Their love and story is so pure and deep, full of chemistry and yearning 😩 Thank you so much, Savannah, for this ARC 🥹 I am so proud of you!!

Evan Wolfe ❤️ This man is everything good, he is brave, sassy, feisty, shy, and so much of frickin sunshine 🥹 He has been through so much of trauma and my heart broke, witnessing him working through it. He deserved his hea the most and I am so frickin happy for him. He is extremely talented and resourceful, works so hard and is one of the most valuable and treasured wolf in the packs 🥹 Even if he doesnt see it.

Caleb Vella ❤️ Hawt dayum, this man is literally everything and he makes his mate his priority🧎‍♀️ He is intense, tattoed, charming, a golden retriever only with him, obsessed, confident, flirty, can't get enough and an Alpha 😈 He has been through his own share of trauma, and fights no matter what. He does anything and everything for his Evan, and proves to him in every second that he loves him. The mouth and skills on this man 😈 Daddy Caleb!

The spice is literally sizzling, I had to remind myself to keep both hands on the phone multiple times 😂😈 Your writing is absolutely incredible, Savannah 🥹 This series is everything 🥹

A Ruthless Alpha, a Broken Omega, and a Bond That Shouldn’t Exist
This is the thirst book in the series. It is recommended to read the first two before you start with this book.
Evan is a traumatized omega wolf with a history of abuse, self harm and self doubt. He is saved by Alpha Jaxon's pack after his brother's reign of terror. Evan struggles to prove his worth. He is physically weak and emotionally scarred. He is unable to heal himself like other wolves. When Caleb, a cold, tattooed alpha with a dangerous reputation takes over a neighboring pack Evan feels himself drawn to him. He finds out Caleb is his fated mate. Caleb is distant and secretively while Evan feels he is not deserving of love. External threats force them together and forces them to navigate their attraction.
The two MMC work well together. One brooding tortured alpha and a lovable anxious omega. They both have a past they try to work with and it is lovely they find a way to make it work.
The slow burn in the book is nicely build up and the secretively part is logical for the story.
This book is enjoyable to read, but it felt that is was not something new. I had the feeling I've read books like this story before (of course with their own changes and characters).

Another heartfelt love story from Savannah Rose.
Honestly this whole series has been fantastic. Each story is so rich with emotion. I love how all the characters have trauma in their past but we see them dealing with this throughout the story in a realistic way. It isn't a quick magical fix. They work at it, both by themselves and with each other.

Evan and Calebs story may be my favourite so far. I love Evan and I so glad he got a happy ending after everything he went through. Caleb is perfect for him and worked hard to show Evan his true worth as well as working through his own issues around their relationship.
Plenty of possessive moments from Caleb, with adorable romance and delicious spice throughout. Im so sad this series is over, I have really love it so much.

If you like shifter romances with a possessive Alpha wolf MMC, a lovable Omega wolf MMC, fated mates, forced proximity, and bit of forbidden love and absolutely phenomenal mental health reps then look no further. This can be read as a standalone but honestly dont miss out and start with the first book to get the full back story.

4.5!! thank you so much to savanna rose for this arc💌 okay so full honesty i binged the other two books before reading this one & although it’s not technically necessary i highly recommend it bc it makes the found family it so much more and gives more insight to the world!

whew this one was a heavy one but oh so worth it! evan, sweet evan, the things he has been through made my heart ache & he is just perfectly matched with caleb who has struggled through life as well. the way these men were really put through the ringer to get their happily ever after but stayed strong together and found strength by themselves as well🥹 i appreciated how evan’s mental health journey was woven in & wasn’t linear — please check trigger warnings before reading !!!

there were so many sweet scenes within the angst and tension that i felt balanced the book out very well — the tattoo painting? hello!? my heart❤️‍🩹 i honestly just wish we got a bit more details here and there because i’m nosey and want to know everything lol

quick recap:

- MM romance
- fated mates

ARC Review

I really enjoyed the beginning of this book - it was such a change of pace to the first two in the series with a bit of an enemies to lovers / slow burn feel. I only wish it lasted a bit longer, and we had a bit more tension and angst .

Caleb has to be my favourite MMC in the series by far - he felt so mysterious and just a beefy manly man. I also love Evan as a character (wholesome little bean), he was always trying his best and just couldn't catch a break. Caleb's dad was also great villian - everything he did and said really made you hate him.

I would've loved for the story to go into more depth or detail in some aspects (like drawing out the yearning a bit more), or . I'm also discovering I'm not the biggest fan of in-depth mental health / therapy discussions - so those aspects weren't really for me.

In any case, thank you to Savanna Rose for providing this e-arc!

This is an honest ARC review in exchange for an early copy

Since I saw this book ad on Instagram I have been WAITING patiently impatiently and I am so so SO grateful that I was accepted for an arc because this book was AMAZING. I genuinely loved it so much. The angst the yearning the mental health rep?!! It was so well done. I love the characters and the relationships both romantic and platonic. Like the friendships in this book are so beautifully done as well 😭. I dont wanna say too much but one scene one scene that I think stole my heart was the coloring of the tattoos. As someone with lineart tattoos THIS IS ALL I WANT ITS ALL I ASK FOR! Made my heart go pitter patter pitter patter. This is my first book by this author but I am 100% gonna read more by her i cant wait to see what she writes next. Again thank you so much for the ARC! ❤️❤️❤️

He calls him PUPS.... *giggles and swoons* that should be enough of a review on it's own😂 Evan and Caleb total opposites but a perfect match, they both been trough a lot of pain and gotten their well deserved HEA but Holly molly Calebs father who doesn't deserve to even be mentioned here put them trough it... I think I stumbled upon the most evil character of all times! I enjoyed this book a lot! Took one star off as I felt book was heavily focused on mental health (wich is important 🤚 don't come at me) but I would have preferred more of Calebs and Evans bonding over mental health check ins too often, but I did love how Caleb worried and cared for Evan it made my heart flutter! "How are you Pups?" 🥹 Thank you for the ARC Savannah Rose I will be checking out your other books that's for sure.

ARC Review (and thank you so much for the ARC!)
This was my first time reading anything from this author and I really enjoyed myself. I also did not know that it was the third in a series, but I had to say that missing the first two did not hinder my enjoyment of Caleb and Evan’s story at all. Speaking of their story…ooof. Now I love an Alpha and Omega shifter love story, especially MM, and this one hurt a bit. Caleb having to stay away and Evan being so hurt by it on top of his already crumbling mental health issues and his physical issues. I wanted to hug him so badly!! Also wanted to slap Caleb for not seeing Evan as the amazing person/wolf that he is. Now everything gets explained, and well, but there’s so much hurt and heartache in this one, but also some lovely healing too for both of them. Their HEA is so hard won and deserved! Awesome story!

I absolutely devoured this book and stayed up way too late finishing it.

I love a book with mental health rep. This book dealt with difficult topics surrounding PTSD, SH, Depression, and self esteem.

As someone who has battled with depression and SH in the past, these topics were really well dealt with and well written. I really related to Evan and his struggle even in the face over overpowering love from friends and family, the pain and the urge to escape can be overwhelming.

The relationship dynamics between Caleb and Evan was beautiful. The message that strength is not always physical but mental and spiritual. Caleb's recognition of this and building Evan up as his biggest cheerleader was so touching.

Please watch your triggers here when reading especially surrounding mental health issues.

Wow…just wow…what a book! It took me on an emotional rollercoaster and I didn’t want to get off! This held me prisoner for the duration of my read, I needed all the information and to know Evan and Caleb would be together happily! Just couldn’t put it down, the growth Evan went through was beautiful and so well written! His mental health struggles were portrayed in such an amazing and captivating way and seeing so many people willing to help him heal was just beautiful. This is a well deserved 5 ⭐️ read for me!

Definitely take into account the content warnings as they do get quite heavy in the book and you will definitely cry! But overall I enjoyed this read so much and will for sure be going back to read the first two in the series!

The book starts off really well, and I was invested in both our MMCs and the packs in general. I really enjoyed the focus and care that was given to Ethan’s mental health (please check TWs); and how healing is not a straight road. I also appreciate the fact that it was highlighted that just because Ethan and Caleb were in love ; that wasn’t a magical solution for either of their PTSDs.
Ethan and Caleb were a very cute couple, with good banter and tension; and really sweet moments.
However, the book felt too long for me. I wish the plot had started playing a role in the story a bit earlier ; because I felt like all the action happened in the last 20% of book and by that time I was just ready to get to their happy ending.
Thank you to the author for the ARC!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (4.5)

This book was so beautiful!! 🖤 Evan is just so sweet and lovable my heart was breaking for him the entire time with everything he was going through. His journey felt really emotional and raw, especially with the mental health representation woven throughout the story, so definitely grab your tissues 🤧
And Caleb AHHH I love him so much 😩 He feels everything so deeply when it comes to Evan. Watching him struggle with the mate bond at the beginning had me wanting to jump into the book and help him myself🥺 Now Caleb’s dad?? Yeah… absolutely not. I was ready to fight that man personally 😤
The spice was spicing 🥵 The mind-link scenes added such a unique and intense layer to their connection those moments were seriously!!🔥

ARC reader here! Signing up for this one was a no brainer for me. I signed up as soon as it came across my feed on instagram because who doesn’t love wolf-shifters? This book contains some heavy topics, and I think they were handled in a way that was okay. I think there could have been more, it felt like something was missing that could have made it even better though I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. I want to read more, to see more of all of the characters and the world. The world-building that is in any paranormal wolf-shifter book has always fascinated me. I hope we get to see more of the kids; I really want more of Lula!

Ooohh boy, Evan and Caleb are two traumatized little peas in a pod. These boys have gone through it, but find happiness in each other. Their happy ending was so sweet, but was definitely hard earned.

It was kinda my first time reading an mm shifter romance and it did not disappoint! Now I need more hahaah

At the beginning, I did hate Caleb just a little but after... damn! That grumpy ass with a cinnamon roll interior 10/10 and Evan my sweet shattered soul I just wanna hug him

I have to say that I’m a new fan, I enjoyed everything the writing, the banters, story, character development, found family and strong with the mental health rep (CHECK TW), I´ll def read another MM book by Savanna (not sure if this one was her first MM but It was soo freaking good)

Thank you Savanna for an opportunity to read this arc. This is my honest review

This was an addicting read. I found myself not wanting to put it down but alas we must adult. I really felt for the characters, especially Evan. It was heartbreaking watching them struggle through the pull for one another but I am glad they got there. My heart broke for Evan when he was fighting and losing the battle of the trauma that was wrought upon him. I really liked the small break that it took for Evan to just find a way to heal. Beautiful story, beautiful characters. Wonderful job!
