Once you've overcome self-doubt, ideas can become endless. ~Kylie Price

Kylie Price has been a published author since 2012 after finally pursuing her dreams, pushing past the self-doubt and memories of setbacks as a child. Having a learning disability, along with little to no encouragement growing up, it took her a long time to fight the inner-demons that taunted her every idea.
Relishing her newfound confidence, her passion for writing split off into a parallel direction and she started her company, Awaken Imaginations, in 2016 with the sole purpose of helping young children find their passion for reading and writing.
The publishing company took off quickly as the overall result from students' grades jumped dramatically, and other schools sourced her to work with their students. With the program consisting of a published anthology containing stories written by the students in each class, it's her mentoring success that drives every student headfirst into the writing project to have their stories printed.
Having no higher education, and no experience other than publishing knowledge and a passion for writing and exploring the imagination, this has not discouraged new schools wanting Kylie to squeeze them into her limited time slots.
Her business has helped her learn new things about herself and the students she mentors, but she still enjoys writing her own tales for others to enjoy. All funds earned from her books go towards her mission to inspire those who feel they can't, while championing those who wish they could.

***I've updated my rating due to reading the recently released edition***

I do not normally read this types of books (romance yes, paranormal not usually) but I actually really liked this book. It took a little to get into it, but it was really good once I did. It had you on the edge of your seat for a good chunk of it. Honestly it could be a book that men like as well. There is a lot of action and not so much detailed sex. Again I truly liked this book. It was like Underworld with a twist.
The ability the author has to make you see and feel the world around the characters without being TOO detailed was wonderful. I will turn away from an overly detailed book. I loved the mixture of sadness and laughter. I also loved the connections each character had to each other and those around them. If there was one critique I could offer it would be that there were a couple of occasions that the 2 main characters acted quite immature for their age. However in the end it turned out to be a pain induced moment and you understand it when the book starts revealing the earlier talked about secrets so in a way it is not really a critique. LOL When all is said and done you are wanting more of the happily ever after. This to me signifies a good book when the ending is never enough. Ha! Would recommend to others.

I have to say that the cover is what made me want to read the book. Yes, I did judge a book by its cover..lol If it wasnt for the fact that I had to sleep this book would have been read days ago. I have not read any books about Death Stalkers or Spawn(vampires). This was a good twist for me. I didnt see the story of Lara and Rollan coming. But it was wonderful. I hope to see more from this series.

I was impressed with the author’s story; she wrote a complete new story line and made it her own with the characters in the book. Loved how she wrote it general, how she told the story in great detail and from multiple points of views so we could understand better the story she wrote. Also appreciate each character and why they did the thing, they did in the book. I love how Lara and Rollan, came to be together and how he; fought for their love till the very end. I liked Lara and Rollan as a couple; they were like a power couple, because they were each other’s equal. I also like the other characters of the story that made Lara and Rollan’s family, they were funny, loving, and protective of each other and very essential to the story, made more believe in a way; tied it together perfectly.
The story is about Lara, brought over from the mist to become a warrior and get her vengeance on those who took everything away from her. Rollan was her teacher; he taught her everything that she needed to act out her vengeance. While this all going on, she also helping fight a war the warriors have been in for a long time against a race that is vampire and succubus mixed; some our totally monsters, but there are some that might not be as bad as they have always thought. Lara time is running out when she learns things of here past, she wants to leave this life behind because she is in so much pain for what she has lost. All she wants is her vengeance over and move on. As her time comes closer to leave, something has changed with in her; where before she was only focused on her anger and hate for the men that took her life away. New feelings are starting to surface from her that she never really felt towards man. That man being Rollan, they start spending more time together and get involved and then Lara is fighting her feelings for Rollan with the choice she made so long to leave. Things start to change with the warriors and there enemies, not everything is what it seems and old secrets come to light, but also new hope.
I gave this book five stars, because I am just so impressed with the author story, and how good she told it and I am really hoping that they will be more stories from this power couple and not just them but the others finding the one that need, their soul mate. I really loved the story line, I am a super fan of paranormal romance, but I feel this had so much more, like a little of everything; which only made it a great story. The perfect example for me would be how I really liked Cain, he might be a villain of this story, but he has morals. In this story I had so many favorite parts, the whole book actually. It was beautifully told, I would give it more than five stars if I could honestly.

Wings of Vengeance starts out a little more slowly than I like because there is so much background information you need to know. One big saving point is that the background information is spread out nicely in dialog, both internal and verbal, so you don’t feel like too much is dumped on you before the story starts. Once the action get rolling, it is nearly non-stop with a good mix of, as the title suggests, vengeance, lighthearted banter, action, and sexual tension. I did have a problem with some of the coarse language, but you expect expletives from the characters who use it. There is a great plot and several captivating subplots with a lot of characters, making this a great, fascinating read that you really want to sink your teeth into. I give this book 4 stars. * * * *

I received a copy of this book with the hopes that I would write a review and this in no way influenced my opinion. All opinions are my own and not necessarily that of others here at Ravenz Reviews. -- Kelly

I have always been a fan of paranormal. It's also been a while since I've read a book of the genre. Well, I am very glad I resumed with this.
The author created a great story and multidimensional characters. The beautiful imaginary and the unique world of unearthly creatures will lure you in and keep you trapped in the book's dark atmosphere.

The characters were fantastic! Lara and Rollan, our main protagonists, were such a cute couple. I simply loved how their relationship developed and how Lara decided that her life was worth fighting for after her tragedy! What an emotional ride but so worth it!
Great work. I recommend it to every fan of the genre.
5 Stars from me.

Wings Of Vengeance

Author: Kylie Price

Life is a game of truth and dare. Dare to brave and conquer all fears. The truth is, no one can hold you back from your dreams, only you!

Wow! What can I say about this book?!

Heartbreaking, a roller-coaster of emotions, angst, regret, love, forgiveness and lots of steamy sex!

You get introduced to Lara first, our leading lady.

Lara was hiding a secret deep down inside of her, one that was slowly taking a piece of her heart and soul,
"Her heart was aching every day, every minute, though was nothing she could do to fix it. There was something missing not only in her heart, but also in her soul."

She was lost and lonely, wanting something that can't be reversed.

"She could not help but feel a slight relief in heart that, with each day of hard work and vigilance, her pain was slowly easing. It would never leave her, yet she will forever be haunted by her decision but will never regret it."

This here had me wondering what decision did she make that eats away at her? Day after day?

Something troubles our lovely Lara, something deep inside her, she lives with it constantly, a reminder of what she sacrificed, for this.

You see, Lara is a death stalker, ridding the night of evil one spawn at a time, possibly more spawn than one but still.

We get introduced to Rollan, one of our gorgeous males of the house, and one that is quite close to Lara but she chooses to ignore her feelings towards him.

"Lara, I didn't expect to see you today."
"I've slept long enough".

Here Rollan raises an eyebrow not quite believing her comment.
"Be that as it may, you need your rest if you wish to do your job properly".
"I'm fine, I don't like to sleep for a long"
"Yes, I know, but nonetheless, you keep this up and you will burn yourself out!"

Here Lara scoffs at his comments, Lara does not care about any this, she no longer feels happiness.

"If dying was that easy, then when my assignment is done,
I may close my eyes and hope death finds me quickly".

This statement makes Rollan think that she hates her life, that she wont allow herself to be happy, pain makes an appearance across his face.

You can't help but feel a little bit angry here at Lara, it is obvious that Rollan cares deeply for her but she refuses to see it and if she does she makes up excuses as to why he couldn't possibly feel that way!!

You see, Lara does care and have feelings for him but she refuses to acknowledge them for fear that he doesn't feel the same so she pushes them down inside of herself.

I really wanted to shake her here, and make her see she was being a fool!!

Lara and Rollan have to to take patrol together, which is rare.

As they head out they make their way to the garage and came to stop in front of Lara's beautiful bike.

"I don't think I have seen you drive a car" Rollan paused, then asked, "Can you even drive a car?"

Here Lara laughs, something she does very rarely, she was always so sad, Rollan desperately wanted to understand her pain so he could take it away.

"Yes, I can drive a car, I don't really know why I love riding my bike, I guess I feel like I'm flying".

Lara hates being restricted, in anyway, so a bike suits her personality.

As time goes on Lara and Rollan get closer and closer, much to her surprise, you see, their housemates knew they should be with each other if only Lara could let go of past just a little bit.

Lara can feel the attraction building between them, she could feel the heat crawling up her body and then she could feel his hand on her lower back and as Rollan slightly pulled her to him, she parted her lips as if his hands on her back were approval for what she was doing/

This part had me clapping for them, finally she has given in but has she really?!

Her whole body was vibrating with passion and fear. Fear of all the feelings and sensations she was receiving by this one heated passionate moment.

Here I found myself shouting at her, he wants you! Go for it!!

But she pulls away, embarrassed.

I feel so sad for her Rollan, he loves her but knows he should take it slow but how much slower can he be?!

Gradually Lara lets Rollan, only to devastate him by saying "shit, the date will be cutting it close, but if I put my head down, I think I could pull it off."
"Cutting it close to what Lara?"
"Until I leave"

This broke his heart, she was still going to leave, even after their connection.

You see, Lara doesn't want to live anymore, and Rollan is desperate to keep her. to hold on to, give her something worth keeping, can he manage this task and persuade her stay with him?

Does Lara realize what she is doing to him or is so to hurt to see past the pain and her own past? To the man that loves her and would do anything for her? Can she get over her struggle in time?

Lara throws herself into training two of her housemates to keep her mind busy and off Rollan but they can all see that it is not going to work, they are soul mates, Rollan's knows this, heck even the housemates know this but Lara is too stubborn to admit it, admit that she needs him and loves him.

But Lara is scared, not of the spawn or the fact that she is a night stalker, the thing that scared her the most was love.

Rollan was refusing to back down, he was slowly breaking down her barriers and he was going to convince her to stay with him!

Does Rollan get his wish?
Can Lara make peace with her past or does she left her past control her and ultimately break Rollan's heart?

Read this book to find out.

It will have you in tears, it will have you laughing and shouting.

Its not all happy, happy, its dark and light, it's happiness and sadness, it loves and loss.

Full of heartbreak and angst, two people torn between loving and leaving.

Miss this and I'm afraid you are missing out on a treat!!Kylie Price

I received this book to give an honest review.

I would have given this book a 4 1/2 star rating for the simple fact of the grammar errors that would occur here and there, and the way the author used a certain word when describing sex. But I decided that 5 stars would be so much more better, because I could look over all of that, and I was hooked into the storyline and the characters.

*May contain Spoilers*

I was either feeling the way Lara was at times or laughing my butt off at the male characters in this story.

Lara has come back and has received immorality, with that she has been training hard for nineteen years to get revenge for what happened to her. Lara along with her new family hunt Spawns also known as Vampires so with her hunting and killing these spawns she is also looking for vengeance. Now you will not truly know what happened to her fully and what is causing her to hunt certain men down until later on in the story! This was one part that had me intrigued and turning the pages to find out. You get a small taste, but that is all until later then the whole story becomes clear as to why Lara is so hard. Not only that, once Lara finishes her last job she is wanting to leave and she wants to leave by a certain date. Now I kept thinking to myself man why by a certain date? What could this mean! Well you find that out also later on and it will surprise you a bit. This also kept me guessing until it became clearer. There was a real suspense in this writing that keeps you hooked until the last page.

With Lara wanting to leave, it is hard on everyone especially Rollan. He has a love for Lara unlike any other and at times I didn't think she quite realized his love was so deep for her. Can he convince her to stay?

Now there are sex scenes like no other in this story and it is OMG juicy! But my problem with these scenes was the fact that the author could use the word penis, clit and nipples. But when it got down to it she used the world to describe the womanly parts as "girlie" that just totally threw me off constantly when that was used. I actual had to use my own word instead of "girlie."

With that aside, Lara befriends a couple of girls at a night club and one that she got close to ends up in danger. And let me say when I read what was happening with her I felt so horrible for Sam! But I did have a question for the author on this one. Sam got bit right? And she did drink Roth's blood right? So wouldn't she have turned into a Spawn? Or no? I hope the author can clarify that for me.

There was more funny roll on the floor laughing my ass off moments with the guys in this story! But two that really stuck out with me was where the guys Marcus, Damon, Rollan and Byron all talking about how "hung" they all were! Man now that is an image us females want to keep in our minds. :D

My favorite quote in this book was said by Marcus. " My sword is like my cock. It's better to have it and not need it, than not have it and need it."

The hospital scene actually had my heart just melting! I got a bit teary-eyed just reading it.

If you are looking for a book that will keep you intrigued in suspense, laughter, action, love and romance with paranormal and keep you turning the pages. This is a book you want to read! I highly suggest you go and get your copy.

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

This is an intriguing romance. I must admit that I loved the cover, and once I read the blurb, I really wanted to read this book!

Lara is a Death Stalker and a character who is driven by vengeance for what happened to her in her previous life; being murdered can do that. I really wanted to like this character, but I struggled to. I found her to be very self-centred and selfish. Her motive was understandable, but I have never been able to hold a grudge for long, and cannot understand why people do; I find it just hurts yourself, and poisons you with bitterness. However, it is her emotional blindness towards her fellow Death Stalkers that really bugged me! I wanted to shake her and tell her to "Snap out of it!". I'm not sure how Rollan could fall for her. Perhaps he saw something in Lara that I couldn't?

Rollen is a fantastic character that I thought was very sexy! He is one of the oldest Death Stalkers (a type of "Human Angel" for want of a better description), created by Mathias to help protect humans from Spawn (a type of vampire/demon). He has loved Lara from afar for a long time, but when he finds out that she is planning on leaving the Death Stalkers, and effectively ending her life, he has to find some way of getting her to stay.

This is a paranormal romance that introduced me to a new type of supernatural being. I loved the idea of these "angels". However, I was left a bit cold by the vengeance aspect of the story. I can understand wanting an eye for an eye to right a wrong, but that doesn't mean I condone violence. Vigilante justice is sinking to the level of the party that incurred the injustice in the first place. I don't believe that does anyone any good. I could understand Lara's need for justice, but not how she goes about it.
I loved the interaction of all the other Death Stalkers, and the camaraderie they have with one another. Marcus is a consummate flirt, Shyanne is a sweet person, Nathanial is fantastic and Mathias is an enigma. These characters bring this book to life. The story is fast paced and kept me entertained from the first page. There is enough action, danger and romance mixed together to create an exciting read!

Kylie Price has written a paranormal romance that intrigued me. Her book is certainly unique, and I am looking forward to reading more in the series and watching how these characters evolve and grow.

As there are scenes of explicit sexual situations and violence, plus the use of bad language, I do not recommend this book for younger readers. However, I do recommend this book if you love STEAMY and HOT Paranormal Romances. - Lynn Worton

I absolutely loved, loved, loved this book! I fell in love with Lara, Rollan, and all of the death stalkers! They sounds so incredibly amazing! Where can I find one?! LOL! Now, we meet Mathias, the leader and first of the death stalkers who is able to go into the mist where souls that can't move on wander aimlessly. He has the ability to bring the soul back to life in a new shell, an immortal shell. He is the one who brought his best friend Rollan back who is 1900 years old and more recently, Lara. Lara and Rollan are deeply attracted to each other, but each is afraid to make the first move. While they figure out each other, the author takes us into her world of immortal death stalkers and spawns (called vampires by the humans). This awesome author takes the reader on one heck of a journey following rollan and lara as well as enjoying the antics of the other male and female death stalkers who hunt the spawn. The story has so many twists and turns and many you don't even see coming that will have the reader experiencing a myriad of emotions along with the characters feeling as if he or she is right there in the story with the characters themselves. Now, as for the technical stuff, I really have no complaints. the book flows at a nice pace throughout and it doesn't drag anywhere in the storyline. The language and some of the terms are in Australian English yet they are quite easy to understand in the context of the story. The character development and back stories are perfectly created and developed. This reviewer could really "see" all of the scenes, characters, dialogue, and action scenes very clearly in her mind. Furthermore, for characters who are mythical in nature, they were very realistic as was their dialogue. This reviewer could feel a range of emotions evoked by the storyline and characters. Overall, a must read to a great new series! i cannot wait to read book two! I highly recommend this book to those who love vampire stories with a bit of a twist. This book is in a class of it's own.

I thought this book was all around a good read. It had love, loss, laughter, tenderness, vengeance, fighting. The cover is one of my favorites, it's just fabulous and the reason I got the book in the first place!
Lara is an emotional mess set on revenge for something done to her almost 20 years ago. Then she wants the gift Mathias gave her taken back once she completes her revenge plot. Can she see anything past her own pain to live and love again?
Rollan loved Lara beyond anything else in life. She was his soul mate but neither of them knew it. He tries everything he knows to get Lara to change her mind and stay with him forever. Will his love for her be enough?
This isn't your typical vampire book. I loved the different aspect of the death stalkers and how they came to be, I think it really enhanced the book. The editing in the book still needs some work as there is still a few problems. The characters were entertaining and strongly written. The only thing I wish would have been different is to have known some key facts earlier in the story as I feel that I could have understood a certain character better. I loved all the twists and turns that the story took though, it was nice to be kept guessing and not knowing what was going to happen next. The dialogue in just a couple of spots was a bit confusing and I had to go back and re-read a couple of times to figure out what the author was trying to convey. With all that being said, the author has a great imagination and I can't wait to read the second Death Stalkers book and see how her writing skills improve as she continues this intriguing series.

Lara is a Death Stalker, living a second life chasing down Spawns (vampires) but also spurred on by revenge. As a human, Lara was brutally murdered, and she wants nothing but to find the monsters responsible, and end their lives. Once that is done, she can then end her own existence once and for all. But what Lara doesn't account for is Rollan falling in love with her, and her eventually falling for him too. And Rollan will try anything to stop Lara ending her life and to stay with him and their brothers and sisters.
Wings of Vengeance was a brilliant story that I wasn't expecting. I loved Lara - a strong feisty woman who is battling with dealing with a horrific past and being brought back by Mathias and dealing with everything that came with it, and all she is hell bent on doing is getting her revenge, but watching her blossoming romance with Rollan that Lara didn't see coming was brilliant.
There are some terrific characters throughout the book, and they were all really well written by Kylie Price. There are lots of lovely, sweet moments, and some really horrific scenes, but Kylie's writing style made the whole book flow really well, as well as some terrific twists and turns.
The ending was brilliant, and a really great way to end the book for Lara.

This is just my personal opinion as an avid reader. I'll cover two points.

Point one: this story could be so much better with more editing. Three sets of errors glared at me.

Wrong use of words like sort when it should have been sought, loader when it should have been louder, through when it should have been threw to name just a few. Then there was the punctuation. Commas when they should have been full stops or question marks and vice versa between all three. Finally, not keeping track of the first/third person the story is being told in. I got the impression that the story might have originally been written in first person but changed to third. If that isn't the case then the author really needs to keep track of that.

Point two: despite what I said above, this is a good read and would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for those three sets of errors. I loved the characters. There was just enough info about them to make them intriguing and to individualise them from each other however, I was confused as to where the story was taking place. It seemed to be Brisbane Queensland Australia. Yet not, as some of the descriptions didn't seem to fit. Aside from that, an enjoyable story indeed.

Wow!!! What a story!!! I have always struggled to get into reading paranormal stories but Kylie Price has changed that for me. She has written an emotional tale of love, loss, and revenge with some pretty hot night stalkers and extremely steamy scenes. The way it is written grips you right from the start and it makes it impossible to put down. It has everything you ever want in a story.
You get to know the characters and create a bond with them.
Lara is a very strong person but she is sad and wants to return to death, her heart belongs to Rollan and his belongs to her but love isn't enough to make her stay, Rollan has to find another way but time is running out. In the meantime the vampires have changed tactics and they are after both Lara and Rollan.
There are a few really good twists to it that left me shocked and made it even harder to put down.
I am really excited to read more Kylie Price books, she is fantastic and i see an exciting future for her as an author.
I also recommend this book to everyone!

I truly enjoy books that show a lot of emotion, whether it be pain or love or passion of any type. The pain felt by the characters in this book were easy to feel while reading through their struggles and confusion. Lara is ready to be returned to death and Rollen must find a way to save her, because he's in love with her. The book is spent trying to get through to Lara, get through her pain, so that she can feel happiness along with the sadness without it driving her mad.
There were also some pretty steamy scenes, so I would recommend 17+ to anybody reading.
There were quite a few errors, smelt rather than smelled in a few places and other similar mistakes, as well as parts where words were placed that I think a different word was meant, but because it was spelled correctly, it wasn't caught. It happens to everyone I think.
Errors aside, it was a good book, with strong characters, a good story and feeling.

I have never listened to the old saying of not to judge a book by its cover. The covers are always the first part to reach out at me and for Wings of Vengeance it caught my attention immediately. The cover is amazingly beautiful and I love the concept of your able to look t the wings flutter if you look closely.

The characters and plot both grasp you immediately and keep you involved in the story all the way to the end. Your able to become emotionally involved with the character. The book is a strong Paranormal Romance that I would recommend to anyone who loves a good story, and not just boy meet girl they lived happily ever after story. I can not wait to read another book by this author.

I cannot explain to you how great a book this is. Full of action and romance "Wings of Vengeance" has it all. And the writing is beyond compare, full of details and emotions interwoven in the words to form a picture in your mind as you read. At times I felt like I was watching a movie. And it was a great movie because the ending came too fast. You know you love a book when the ending comes and it's hard for you to fathom it or move along from. I loved Rollan and Lara. Their characters are so well done in this book. Lara especially moved me from the start. And Mathias, I am invested in him as well. Wanting to make sure he gets his HEA also at some point as well. If you love paranormal books, this story is a must read.

A breathtaking story about Rollan and Lara, two people brought back through The Mist more than a thousand years apart. Each with a hidden hurt all their own and Lara with a desire to leave and never return to this world. Price writes an intriguing tale about the two and the challenging and dangerous world they live in with Vampires and DeathStalkers abounding. The characters all have an amazing depth and leave you wanting to know ALL of their personal stories too! A truly fantastic beginning that keeps you reading and even when you know that you have other things to do. If you like Sherrilyn Kenyon, Gena Showalter or Larissa Ione you are bound to enjoy Kylie Price! I hope she keeps them coming!

I got gifted this book in exchange for a honest review. I'm used to reading books in the first person narrative now as it seems the popular way to write now, so the third person narrative took a while to get into and the story did start off a bit slow as the author needed to build the world and background for us, but once I got into the story I was hooked. I will say that at times, it did feel a bit like I was being told the story instead of living in it, but I think that was to do with the third person narrative as it could feel a bit impersonal at times. But it's a great story and the author has the start of a great new world here, so I look forward to reading about other characters in the future!

Lara is brutally raped and murdered. However she was brought over to be a death dealer, to get revenge on those who killed her, while protecting other innocents. While in the death dealer family she meets Rollan, her soul mate, but she is too hard headed to accept a new life. This is a great story packed with action, romance, vampires, death dealers and lots of sex. My only issue was the over use of the word 'girlie'. For a few chapters it was in every single paragraph! I wanted to see different words. However this was a fantastic and entertaining read. You can see the ending coming, but I think that made it more enjoyable. WaAR

This author had me on a rollercoaster of emotions. The story from the very beginning was very intriguing. I didn't get bored.

The terms she uses for her characters are unusual. The story line is sexy. There is power and weaknesses all at the same time. Some of the characters are just plain warped. A couple great twist that I could not believe happened. I had to hide my teary eyes from my family. Teary eyes from sadness and happiness. The protection of the brothers for their fellow sister was an Awwww moment! That was so comforting, like she had all them at the tip of her finger.

The story ended well with only one question in mind.... Where is book 2?

I enjoyed the general concept and idea of the plot. Also the fact that there was a slightly different take on the whole vampire genre that is popular at the moment. But there were certain aspects of the story line that I could see coming from miles away, and just wished there was a little more unexpected twist. I would still recommend this book to friends who are looking for some nice casual reading to past the time.

I loved this book. I loved the journey that you are taken on, the story of Lara and Rollan's eternal love. I'd like to think that all true love is that way. That no matter what we do throughout our lives, no matter where we go, we will always find the other half of our soul. Very well written. A great love story. There were some sad parts, but it was all about Lara finding a way to move on from her tragedies. <3 Reviewed by Ashley E. of www.FaeBooks.co.uk

I found myself drawn into the story of the Death Stalkers...Ms Price spins an emotional story of love, loss, revenge, retribution, uncertainty, and happiness and did I mention vampires and hot Death Stalkers. The more I read, the more emotionally invested I got, especially with Lara and Rollan...I really enjoyed this book and hope that there will be a sequel....perhaps Mathias
and the soul still in the Mist? Or plenty of the other hotties to further the Death Stalkers...

I was a little confused in the beginning because I was not sure what type of story this was as I had not saw any reviews. For me, it was a long book, but very detailed in the description of the characters and their everyday lives. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. I enjoy stories with an edge and this is one of them. . I would definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys paranormal Good vs Evil.

Underworld meets one of Sherilyn Kenyon's books! Lara non stop talking bout finishing her quest and ending it all was a bit annoying. Otherwise I loved it! Having to watch poor Rolland pine for her and watch her trying to end it all was almost too much! Loved the ending though. The reason behind her actions was suprising I kept guessing but I was wrong. Lots of action and violence with sexual tensions made this a really good read!

This book pulled me in right from the beginning. As I started reading it I had all of these questions popping I to my head. The book started off slow answering a few questions but to only generate more. So I had to finish this book. I needed to know who, what, when, where, why & how. And boy did I get answers! Great new world with a twist on the tried and true vamps! This is the first book I have read by this author but I am looking forward to more!
