Death. Eve can feel it in the frigid, icy air of the Unclaimed Wastes. She can see it in the treacherous blue eyes of a creature once believed to be myth. She can hear it echoing in the soul she had given to the grimoire for the promise of safety.
But soon, Eve realizes that one should never trust what is cursed. And now there are other terrors that loom before her. Ones of legends and lore, nightmares and tales as old as the Blood of the Blackthorn itself.
As the fallen goddess wakes from her centuries long slumber, the world of mortals and magic is rife with the wrath of her vengeance. The Age of Witchcraft has returned and with it a war that threatens all.

This was easily the strongest book in the trilogy for me. The pacing does not slow down. It’s nonstop action and constant movement. Everything that felt a little muddy in book two finally clicks into place, and all the storylines start making sense in a really satisfying way.
It definitely gives Game of Thrones energy. Shifting alliances, war consequences, and a reminder not to get too attached to anyone.
The stakes felt consistently high this time, which made it hard to put down. I genuinely devoured it.
That said, I do wish we had a bit more closure at the end. I wanted clearer answers about what ultimately happens to Eve and Clarisa long-term — especially where Eve ends up after the war. I don’t need everything perfectly wrapped up, but a little more emotional resolution would’ve made it hit even harder.
Overall, though, this was a strong finish to the series and the payoff after book two was worth it.
This ending to the series was a roller coaster of feminine rage, love, wrath, war, self discovery, growth, alliance and so much more! Very well written, never a dull moment because you’re getting all perspectives of the chaos ensuing. Rocio definitely made up for a lot of the heartbreak that she gave me along the way. Beast is my favorite side character, no room for debates. This wonderful story had me mourning, kicking my feet like a teenager whose crush finally texted her back, my jaw dropping, crashing out, ALL of the emotions.
I do wish we got some more clarity/confirmation on what happened with Clarisa, and maybe a little blurb giving an idea of what life ended up looking like for Eve. But regardless of that absolutely phenomenal read.
So much feminine rage and I love it. I am so glad this was a trilogy and I was able to read them all together. This book (entire series) is just edge of your seat action. There's no predicting what will happen to these characters next. I started out not knowing who to root for. The author warns that your favorite character may not make it and it's the truth. Even with so many characters and POVs it's easy to tell the difference who is who as each character has a unique voice and personality. Dakon is STILL my favorite. iI cried and I squealed and I sat in silence mourning that it was all over
Hi there. If you've made it this far into the series, congratulations and thank you for reading my witchy fantasy trilogy! I hope you enjoy the Game of Thrones meets Salem Witch Trials aesthetics in this book with its political intrigue, magic, pirates, warring kingdoms, and villains you love to hate.
Thank you can never be enough for taking the chance on an indie author with a dream and a pen and paper. And especially for reading the last novel in my series.
I received an E-ARC for this book and this is my honest review.
It has: a gothic setting, Mad Monarchs, political intrigue, pirates, and shadow doggos. Definitely a bittersweet ending! I was honestly stunned by the character growth! The pacing was perfect. I flew through the book without even realizing it. I do wish we had a bit more closure or like a definitive answer on a few things. I loved this series!!
This book was a little disappointing. The first two books were sooooo good but this one felt like it had too much going on so all the big events felt rushed. It was also a little confusing at times. I would still definitely recommend reading the series!
The ending completely satisfied me. Everything tied together beautifully, and it felt intentional and full-circle. I do wish we’d gotten more of Izan and Eve’s story — I wasn’t ready to let them go — but I loved where everyone landed. It felt right.
I felt like this one was shorter, or maybe I just plowed through this one. The multi-POV continues and really adds to the plot. The romance is romancing now.
