I am so in love with these two! You asked for another hot Irish MMC and I've delivered. Astrid and Callan do not make the journey easy, but the HEA is so worth the emotional turmoil. I've missed writing this kind of angsty romance! Releasing February 17th, 2026.
Also, this book introduces the H from my new billionaire romance series, coming 2026.
I absolutely adored Callan and Astrid. Their connection was so strong. Their attraction was 🔥🔥🔥. I loved how he much respected her. Just watching their love unfurl was such a treat.
Not gonna lie, there was one character that just couldn’t connect too, and oh boy did they prove me right. My JAW DROPPED in absolute shock at things they did!
Great ready to feel ALL the feels, cause Siobhan pulls you through them all. You will swoon, your heart will ache, you’ll get frustrated, your jaw will drop.
Siobhan Davis knows how to write a love story that spans years and gives readers emotional depth, has plot twists, and still contains passion, friendship, heartbreak, and so much more. Never Stopped Loving You is that love story as I was riveted and glued to my kindle for this angsty, emotional, true love romance.
Astrid does not have boys on her never ending to-do list her senior year, but when the Hunt family moves in next door she can't help but offer a hand. Astrid has a bleeding heart for those in need, but even more so, her future dream is to be an interior designer so helping the Hunts redesign their home is a dream in the making, and befriending Callan was a bonus she didn't expect. When he asks for a favor, one that would appear to help them both, her only hesitation is the worry of losing her heart to a boy who says he doesn't plan to stay past graduation.
Callan Hunt's family moves to America in his senior year of high school. Not exactly every teenager's dream. 🥺 Especially one who has professional soccer - or football ⚽️- in his sights. That is truly his only focus, which seems further away now that he's starting over with a new team and in a new country. Everything is just too much...except Astrid, the girl next door who creeps into his heart. She calms his soul in a way that only playing on the pitch ever has. When every girl sets her sights on Callan, and he's made it very clear he only has his sights set on soccer, he turns to the one girl he knows will help him out, Astrid. However, Callan never meant to fall for her, since he was never planning to stay, but as time passes he begins to wonder if it's possible to have the girl and his dreams.
Callan and Astrid fall for one another so naturally, it's organic and first love at its best. It's the beautiful first moments that pulled out my own memories of falling for the first time. All the butterflies, sweet kisses, hand touches, and stolen moments. The perfect person that will forever be by your side...sadly until the world falls out from beneath their feet. It's this heartbreak that dug deep into my soul and catapulted me back to my youth, back to my first heartbreak and my empathy soared to the skies with the deep ache in my heart that both Callan and Astrid felt. It was visceral because these two loved so hard and deep. And yes, it hit my own memories hard, but I loved how much these characters affected me that it stirred those decades old emotions. If you take nothing else away from this review, it's this...Never Stopped Loving You is a book that will pull you in, wring out all of your emotions, and capture your heart. It's that good.🥰
This is a big book packed with a lot of big emotions and tough topics, but everything is written with care and wasn't dropped in just for shock value. And what I appreciate most, besides a wonderful happy ending, is that by the end every question is answered, every T is crossed, and all potential plot holes are filled. It all makes me a very happy reader which is why Siobhan is allowed to rip my heart out and mend it back together with her beautiful stories and hard fought couples.❤️
Do you have a group of authors that are your go-to? The ones that you read and reread their books a million times? The ones that never write a bad book? Siobhan Davis is one of those for me! Never Stopped Loving you is classic Siobhan Davis. It takes you down every single emotion. You laugh, you cry, you hurt. The connections are deep and passionate, the hurt is raw and real, the characters are vulnerable and the spice is red hot as always!
Astrid Nevan’s senior year is mapped out down to the minute, and nowhere on her list is falling for a boy. She has plans to become an interior designer. This girl is everything good. She is so kind and caring and selfless. And innocent. What she doesn’t expect is meeting her new Irish neighbor Callan. Callan Hunt never wanted to leave home. Moving in his senior year, dragged across the ocean when all he wants is to prepare to be scouted to the Premier League. And he’s so angry. Soccer—football—isn’t just a sport to him. It’s his future. His escape. His identity. Befriending him starts innocently enough, her helping with the interior design of his parents’ home, but they both realize quickly what a connection as friends they have which they both start feeling turning into more. She brings him peace and calm. So, when fake dating comes into to play, it seems like it can work. The only thing holding her back is the fear of giving her heart to a boy who has already promised he won’t stay. It’s just so natural and they fall headfirst. BUT, it couldn't just end that way. When they are forced apart by outside forces, you can truly feel the heartbreak and the spiral these two go through. Years later, fate throws Callan and Astrid back together—but this time, she’s engaged to someone else. Realizing he’s truly lost the love of his life, Callan finally reveals the truth about what tore them apart years ago. UGH! It was pure and utter heartbreak! And seeing how deeply it all impacted them both was heartbreaking! But in the end, these two find their way back to a soul deep love forever!
Read this book! It will take you on a journey of every single emotion! And some plot twists you didn't even see coming! Rate:5 /5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 3/5🌶️🌶️🌶️

🩷Thank you to Siohbhan Davis and The Author Agency for my arc!
Whatever review I give this book, it will not fully articulate all the things I want to convey that would truly do it justice.
The story of Astrid and Callan is a true love story. Callan is torn from his home in Ireland where he’s so close to signing with a Premiere League football team when he’s transplanted in Vermont. He struggles with his new life until he meets Astrid, who happens to be his neighbor. These two equally have goals and neither is focusing on a relationship until they find their attraction is more than surface level. There is quite a bit of the book spent on their high school years, but only so that the reader gets a strong sense that these two are more than your high school crush. They are the exception to every high school relationship making plans for a future together and working through any obstacle put in their path. Their lives and their families become so intertwined it really adds extra to their developing love story. They each find their individual dreams coming true and just when you think all plans are coming to fruition, their plans are derailed in a major way forcing them apart.
When Callan and Astrid are forced apart by external forces, you can truly feel the heartbreak and the spiral these two go through that you just can’t help feeling all that emotion. It broke my heart and utterly shattered it, not to mention I wanted to throw my kindle several times. Astrid must find a way to put all the hurt behind her. You truly feel her struggle in the years she and Callan are apart. But she was strong and put one foot in front of the other to truly fund her healing.
Years later, Callan and Astrid are thrown together through unforeseen circumstances, but this time Astrid is engaged to another man. Callan realizes he’s never going to get the love of his life back and decides to come clean about what really tore them apart all those years ago. I was not expecting all that was revealed. It added extra angst to their story and the realization that they never stopped loving each other. To read how Callan was impacted by what happened shattered me.
It takes time, but these two do find their HEA. Their reconnecting was utter perfection!!! At 93%, I’ve never read a more beautiful, captivating, emotional and intimate scene in a book. It is in this moment, Callan and Astrid are on the road to healing from their forced separation. There is a surprise plot twist that I did not see coming!! OMG, there’s a huge connection in this book that took me by surprise!
Callan and Astrid’s love story was not your ordinary love story. It was powerful, soul deep, healing and eternal. I’d give this 10 stars if I could.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

OH MY LANTA‼️. This book was pushing 700 and i just completely devoured it in like a day. It was just so good. This book for me, wasn’t a book that made me cry but i still felt everything in my heart and the up and down roller coaster of emotions man it’s a ringer to your heart… I was so angry.
Callan Hunt has just been forced to relocate to Vermont from Ireland when his father gets a promotion. Callan did not want the move as he has dreams and the talent to be a professional footballer ( soccer) and it just isn’t the same here in the USA. He has never let anyone or anything get in the way of those goals until he met Astrid Nevan.
Astrid Nevan is similar to Callan in that she knows what she wants to do. She has already started working towards her career aspirations to be an interior designer and after her most recent breakup, is focusing on that. Meeting Callan Hunt wasn’t in her plans and definitely throws her world off its axis.
This book is set into 2 parts. The first part they are in high school and have to navigate not only high school drama, friendships, and relationships but future plans as well. One particular friend, whom, i personally couldn’t stand her character.
But what they never expect was an outsider to be the one that tears everything apart.
Part two is 10 years later both are settled in their new lives. Fate has brought them both back to Vermont. All the old feelings come back to the surface for both of them, only Astrid is now engaged to a Billionaire CEO.
Will Callam and Astrid have their second chance when the truth comes out about what happened? The truth… that was such a bombshell and the interconnected character to another story… i never saw that coming at all. Siobhan has always liked to throw a little twist.
This one really got me in my feels after everything played out. This book, well It makes you believe in soulmates and HEA and everything in between.
Callan Hunt was Astrid's new neighbor, the hot Irish guy, a star footballer, and for her, life-changing. He arrived with a bad attitude and wasn't looking to stay in America, much less looking for love, but there was something irresistible about Astrid. Astrid had dreams for her future. She wanted a career in interior design; a boyfriend wasn't a priority. But she couldn't get him out of her mind. Call it destiny or divine intervention, but love had its way. Astrid and Callan were written in the stars. So, when scouts came calling for Callan, it looked as if their dreams were coming true. Until they weren't. It took Astrid years to find her way out of heartache, and when she has a second chance at HEA, Callan reappears. Now he wants her to know the truth. Now he wants her back.
"Books are mirrors; you only see in them what you already have inside you." - Carlos Ruiz Zafon. I'm not sure this quote has ever been more apt about my reaction to a book. I adored Astrid and Callan. I also have never been more frustrated by the behavior of two characters. I screamed aloud at times. I was ready to write off characters, relationships, and entire towns while reading this. If angst and emotional turmoil are what you are looking for in a book, this is a must-read.
Soulmates + Betrayal - Communication = Heartache. This is a story of right person, right time, wrong outcome. Siobhan outdid herself. Her characters never follow fictional rules or formulas. They infuriate, worry, and vex me, break my heart, and ultimately enchant me. This isn't to say that I don't call for their death multiple times in this book. It's a riveting story. The depth of the writing will keep you enthralled. Astrid and Callan's journey isn't an easy affair. There's bitterness with the joy. Be prepared to shed a few tears, heartbreak, and anger, before the happy tears return. It is Siobhan Davis, after all.
As an avid reader, I love being swept away by the magic of a good book. If we're lucky, we find authors & stories that complete captivate us readers with their stories, Siobhan Davis is that author for me.
As per usual she has once again weaved her magic & exceeded all my expectations. Siobhan Davis never fails to deliver an outstanding book. She never disappoints, she delivers again & again. I was drawn-in, captivated , intrigued & completely invested in this very dramatic romance. I was completely immersed in Never stopped loving you from start to finish.
You want angst? You want a love story that spans a lifetime?! Here it is.
Siobhan’s is known for her REMARKABLE stories and I recommend every one of them, however, this book unbelievably pierces you to the core of your soul. Her ability to write something as beautiful as this is truly breathtaking.
This is a an exquisite story about finding your first love, the intense consuming love that completely takes over your entire body. It tugged my heart strings from the opening pages, to the very last page & everything in between
I also loved these character's transformations throughout their journey.
In my opinion Siobhan Davis is the Queen ~ I'm just going to say this, if Siobhan writes it, I'm going to devour it. Never stopped Loving you is full of emotion, angst. Siobhan delivers a heart-wrenching, second-chance, friends-to-lovers romance.
Between the lust, the betrayal, the pain & heartbreak, the strength to survive, the pain, the intrigue, That was one roller coaster I didn't want to get off.
Get ready to experience the full spectrum of emotions as you journey through betrayal & lies that will tear them apart, only to discover that fate has a way of healing itself from the past.
So grab your tissues, settle in, & prepare to be utterly blown away by this deeply moving and unforgettable tale.
Callan & Astrid created a worldwind of emotions. Tears were shed more than once as I absorbed every second of this love story. Their journey to HEA was full of spicy twists and gripping turns that kept me captivated from start to finish. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"But it’s clear that ship has sailed, and I won’t do anything to cause her more pain." Yeah, but definitely ME!!!
I'm not fine!!! I'm so NOT fine! And I'm sure I won't be fine for a long time 😭💔
Did I expect anything less? No! I knew I would end up crying for hours. And I also knew I HAD to read this book. Because I just love Siobhan's books. She can't do anything wrong. And that's why this book is just perfect.
Will I find the right words? No! Definitely not. But I'll it.
Callen and Astrid are so perfect for each other. They are so similar. They both know exactly what they want in life and work very hard for it. Except for Callan's diet plan and Astrid's cake addiction 🤣 Callan is so different from the typical jocks. He is way too ambitious to be one.
I loved how important friendship is in this book. How strong they are together. And they had to go through a lot of 💩 Especially the one thing. I hate when I want to scream about something. To let out all my fury, all my rage 😱🤬 but obviously I can't because I'll never spoil anything! But holy freaking 💩 It's so extreme. Believe me, you'll scream too! And you want to become a 🔪🔫☠️ When you've read the book, or even while you read it and need to talk, feel free to DM me. I'm here for you. I know how you feel, and I luckily had a friend by my side, too 🩷
But the book also has so many beautiful things too 😊
One of my favorite parts was definitely Callan's bathroom 🤣 It so brought back memories of my first apartment... 🙈
And Callan trying to learn Swedish. Of course, only the bad words. 😉
Thanks to the author and Midnight Readers PR for trusting me with an ARC 🩷
Siobhan Davis brings epic level of angst in Never Stopped Loving You. Callan and Astrid's love story spreads across years and continents where the author decided to make them suffer every kind of heartbreak and face every type of obstacle. It's a hard earned happily ever after. Take extra care of your kindle as you would want to throw it multiple times.
I am not going through tropes or the plot as I think you need to go in blind. The author has a list of triggers so please go through that. Callan and Astrid's beginning was very romantic. 17 year olds..the brooding Irish boy moving to Astrid's neighborhood, their dreams, their friendship slowly revolving to fake dating to real love..it was all very swoony and dreamy. Astrid is such a sweet and adorable girl here and she broke down Callan's walls. Soccer was his only love but falling for Astrid was even better. But the author soon makes my heart break.
The second part of love story is 10 years down the line. Astrid has fought hard to heal herself and she is engaged to her boss. She has lost her trustworthy sweet pieces but the job brings her back to her hometown and in Callan's space. Callan has own secrets and heartaches and he realises that he cannot hold back the truths after fate has put Astrid in his path again. They have so much unresolved feelings and it was a complete emotional rollercoaster. Saying it was heartbreaking doesn't explain just how destructive it was. They never stopped loving each other. Tragedies hardened them and changed them but their hearts always belonged to each other and they found the way back. I cannot imagine a more devoted and protective and obsessed man than Callan who deserves Astrid.
Wow. what an emotional roller coaster! This was such a loving story between two souls who were fated to end up together despite some of the most heart breaking circumstances!
New neighbors and friends Callan and Astrid relationship from fake dating to finally realizing their feelings and becoming high school sweet hearts to college lovers only to have their world ripped apart by outside forces. 💔
“I will only have one girlfriend in my life—the woman I’m going to marry.”
Their love was so pure and to see what they went through literally broke me! I loved Callan despite what happened in the breakup I knew he had to be doing it to protect Astrid. My heart broke for him and Astrid.
“As long as I live, my heart will only beat for you.”
This book does focus ALOT (40-50%) on their high school relationship and I usually don’t like reading MCs that are 17-18 but this story was so important and it was done so well.
There is also betrayal and some mystery and trauma that will leaving your heart bleeding. The struggles they faced only made the ending that much more powerful!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️

What a story by the Queen of Angst! It’s not a surprise that it took me a couple of days to digest everything, put my head and emotions in order so as to be able to write my thoughts and views. Ms Davis delivers a soul-wrecking, un-put-downable story with so much passion, love, hurt, pain, heartbreak, healing and everything in-between along with MCs that will stay with you for life! I am not going to touch the story plot – or even the characters – here because there are more than a few twists, turns (my jaw drop to the floor time and time again) and…well, characters (including the MMC) who appear that a reader has to appreciate (or hate in some cases) without someone spoiling it for them! But I will say that I rooted so hard for Astrid and her HEA. It was a very emotional journey that gutted me to the bone (I couldn’t stop crying for a big chunk of the book – this story worth EVERY tear I shed, I swear!) but it was SO rewarding in the end! This author truly knows how to deliver stories that have the ability to speak to the heart and soul, not by being picture perfect but through ways that remind us that we are human, with flaws and all, and the hope that fate always has a way to interfere and provide second chances when something is worth it, as long as we are there to recognize the signs and make the right decisions when it counts. This is one of those stories. 5 stars are not enough for this masterpiece!
I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Be still my beating heart!!! My anxiety level is still high, and I am still recovering from this amazing read days later 💜. Talk about an emotional whirlwind. Prepare now to feel *all* the feels and more!!

Astrid + Callan will take you on one doozy of a journey filled with all kinds of twists along the way. This couple will absolutely grab your heart right away. They have a love that comes along once in a lifetime -lightning bolts hitting from the sky type of love 😉. However as we all know, when something is that good, it usually comes with an equal amount of bumps along the way. Buckle up buttercups 🍿👀. Get your tissues, and possibly an adult beverage or two handy before starting this gem. There's oodles of angst, romance and suspense. There are a fair amount of surprises and triggers along the way too. I loved the dual timeline. I felt it was expertly done. The dialogue was so well crafted it was like watching a movie in my mind. I could almost hear them in the next room. These characters felt like real people that could jump off the page at any moment. This reader got 1,ooo% invested in their journey! I didn't want to see it end. Warning: don't start at bedtime unless you can take a sick day.
So many feelings!! I loved Callan. that boy was devoted to Astrid. His commitment to her was unshakable. Their relationship started as a friendship and it developed into a great love.
Tbey were soulmates. They loved each other wholly. Callan was the sweetest most attentive boyfriwnd and Astrid was just so good. I loved that she bonded with his family and they all loved her.
The moms were the best at meddling lol
This book had a bit of everything the high school parties and crazy friendships. So many good and bad things happening!!
As much as I loved Callan and Astrid I hated a certain character so much!! There have been so many books Ive hated some side characters but this one takes the cake. specific person was vile, manipulative and just a complete psychopath. Siobhan outdid herself with this villain, I was raging so bad!
Callan and Astrid went through it but their love won in the end, eventually they got their life back and I was so happy for them. I loved that Travis was the best friend to Callan in the end 😊
Idk how I feel about what's coming because I hated how Sean left things and what he did to Astrid but I can't wait to see him get redeemed.
This was an amazing story, full of love, patience, trauma, heartbreak and horrible things but it was so freaking worth it in the end.
Astrid and Callan's story begins when they are around 17 and spans around a decade. This is a love story that is enormous, all-encompassing, which makes the events that occur absolutely devastating. Their meeting as teenagers is at a time when both have laser focus on their future and little time for a relationship as deep as the one which is hovering on the fringes of their awareness of each other. At heart they know who they are to each other...soulmates. Their young love is huge and beautiful. But those shoes are going to fall at some point. We all know that...and when they do, they have the impact of a meteor!! What an incredible story! Told in detail, with well developed characters, it pulled me into the emotional, well told, intense plot. I really could not put it down as I followed the lives of Astrid, Callan and their families and friends, through the ups and deep downs of a tale of love, manipulation, betrayal, huge life detours and a central couple who won my heart completely. This has been an incredible read, one which took me through so many emotions that I know I will be thinking about it for some time. There is a gorgeous payoff that had me cuddled in a warm hug! Fabulous 💖💖💖💖💖
Callan has moved to Vermont from Ireland when his father’s job requests it of him. Which leaves Callan incredibly upset since he has a promising soccer career he’s trying to achieve. He swore there would be no distractions but he never accounted for Astrid Nevan.
Astrid is also locked in on her future but never expected anything to come of meeting Callan Hunt. But it seems like they were fated for one another.
They had to navigate the crazy chaos that is high school but they also never truly expected how much it would affect their budding relationship.
Something crazy happens which absolutely shatters Astrid & leaves the two of them broken & it absolutely gutted me.
That only increased the distance between Callan & Astrid which absolutely broke my heart because they were life goals, I had such high hopes for them.
After many years have separated them, these two have to come to terms with being in the same town yet again. And those pains are very hard to overcome, especially when there are now new obstacles in their way.
Those last few chapters were so crazy & chaotic but that epilogue really hit me in the feels. I was absolutely smiling uncontrollably after reading how everything turned out and played out.
I absolutely loved this book & highly recommend it!
Amazing job!

“As long as I live, my heart will only beat for you.”
Siobhan has this ability to suck you into the emotional roller coaster and make it one you never want to get off of. Siobhan's books are always an auto read for me and I was incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to ARC read this.
This was full or emotion, hurt, heartbreak, growth, re-building and so much swoon worthy love. SO much angst and yearning (WE LOVE A MAN WHO YEARNS) - two souls meant for each other, but fate has other plans that tests them as a couple and individually.
I never know where the plot is going to go with Siobhan or I think I do but I'm never accurate, which is something I absolutely loved about this book. Betrayal and trauma a riddle in this book (so check those triggers) - also a lot of this book (50-60%) is set in High school 17-18 YO but this is ESSENTIAL to the story and isn't a high school romance.
Siobhan promised another hot Irishman (OG KING, DILLON IS MENTIONED!) and she DELIVERED! I was so excited to see some familiar names mentioned in there and really made me feel so nostalgic about all Siobhan's incredible books.
I loved Callan and Astrid! Callan was this Irish hunk who had no interest in girls … football came first! Astrid was a sweet overachiever who only wanted to please people. There were times my jaw hit the floor … WTF! Miss Davis took my heart out of my chest and then tried to put it back even though it was totally broken. The steam between Callan and Astrid was off the charts. I found the beginning of the book to drag on too long and that’s the only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars … but this is definitely a book that shouldn’t be missed!
Callan’s family moved from Ireland to the US and he wasn’t happy about it. Now it would take longer for him to fulfill his dreams of playing football in the Premier League in England. Astrid just broke up with her boyfriend and she was tired of everyone feeling sorry for her. So Callan and Astrid agree to a fake relationship … but it doesn’t take long for this relationship to feel oh so real. This book follows Callan and Astrid from high school till they are in their 30s.
Okay let me first say I did not see that crossover coming & OMG 😱 did it leave me speechless. Like what was that?? Seriously no warning just bam incoming. (If you haven’t read that series which I won’t mention because I don’t plan on ruining that plot twist don’t worry 😉 read that book after you finish this one it will ruin you too)
Now let me tell you I need me an Irish. If you have read other books by Siobhan you know she leaves you with a trail of book boyfriends. He’s another one to add to my never ending list.
Astrid & Callan. Oh do we get on a roller coaster of a ride. I went through all the feels from wanting to shout with happiness, to oh look at the spice to I am debating on throwing my kindle. The love they share is one of a kind, the love that you feel to the tip of your toes. When a man is willing to give you everything you dream of and more. A power couple in the making. Unfortunately not everyone seems to agree and jealousy starts to creep in. They do say keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. Just how true is this out to be?? I guess that’s for you to find out. Happy reading ✌🏽
Holy smokes what in the heavens and earth did I just read?! I’ll tell you what I read, an epic love story that’s what!!! Dang, I’m still reeling. I’ve never shied away from reading Siobhan’s writing even though her reads always tear me apart from the inside out. How she can build you up so high you feel like you can touch the sky which is nothing compared to how hard you crash when she destroys you. But then she puts you back together again piece by piece placing the shattered parts of your heart back together the way she wants them to be, then bam! You’re hooked. You’re changed for the rest of your life because you read her words, you lived the story with these characters she drags into falling in love with. You cry their tears, you are angry for their situations, you are a part of their world. Each and every read will change you in some way, form or fashion. Never stopped loving you is epic. I didn’t think I could love any story more than the Say you love me series…but I think Dillon and Reeve just took a backseat to Callan! He is EVERYTHING. Or and that surprise character reference…makes perfect sense is all I’ll say.
Oh WOW! what a phenomenal read by Siobhan Davis. Siobhan never disappoints me with her words, she delivers real, raw and emotional again & again. I am left in Awe with her words. If you have not read any of Siobhan's work, I HIGHLY recommend it. You will not be disappointed.
This book is about Astrid and Callan, its full of love and heartache. That FIRST LOVE, The Loss, The re-finding of yourself, achieving the career of your dreams, and discovering new love all for it to come to a crashing halt, when your first love, the man that you thought was going to be your forever, the man that left you all those years ago, comes back. Again Phenomenal Read and Phenomenal Job Siobhan.. If you write it I will 1000000000000% read it!
Callan & Astrid This book is thick, but I’m grateful it doesn’t stop after the first part and it isn’t split into a duet. Because that would have been one massive cliffhanger. It was just great that you can jump straight into the second part even though it takes some time to get all the answers. It's so great that you don’t have to wait for the story to continue. I think I felt all the emotions throughout this book. I got angry, murderous, anxious, I cried a bunch and I screamed out of frustration every now and then. It took me on an emotional rollercoaster and I loved, loved the tiny darkerisch things and scenes that came along. I mean I’m a mafia romance girlie after all. This book is all about love, soulmates, struggles, betrayal, pain and has a really great ending. I don’t want to spoil anything but if you love a good second chance romance with angsty vibes and a couple of triggers you need to keep in mind. A good storyline and great characters, friendships, strong bonds and a small town this book is all you want.
This one begins with Astrid and Callan in their senior year of high school and spans several years. His family had just moved to small-town Vermont from Ireland, and he's a star soccer player with dreams of making it professionally. She has a gift for interior design and plans to study that in college and one day have her own business.
Both have big plans and no time for a relationship, but love finds them when they’re not looking. And sometimes fate gets challenged by outside forces. But destiny won’t be denied, despite high school drama and whatever fallout might occur.
Angst lovers, this is your next epic read. The ups and downs, the maniacal drama, the heartbreak and healing, it's all perfectly placed for a delicious, unforgettable ride. I loved everything about this, from the vulnerable and naïve characters and their heart-wrenching ruination to their glorious second chance. Start reading this one now. Your romantic heart will be eternally grateful.
This beauty of a book was THICK and took you on a rollercoaster of emotions! I was well on board for the ride! Astrid is so focused and determined on her goals and future plans she doesn't have room for boys and relationships . . . Enter our Irish heartthrob Callan! He is gonna be up the top with all the best book boyfriends. Siobhan knows how to write a swoonworthy guy we all fall in love with instantly. I love Astrid and Callan's relationship and their love story is just beautiful. . . . Until its not. There are just points in this book where you are screaming at them, then the other points you are in utter tears where your heart is shattered! There are so many sensitive subjects in this book and they are covered and written so incredibly well. Hats off to Siobhan!! Just an epic story from beginning to end, completely stunning, I love the Irish connection and as a Scottish girl I love the references to football. Can't recommend enough, top read of 2026!!!
Siobhan Davis crafts a world in Never Stopped Loving You that feels at once intimate and expansive, wrapping readers in small-town charm while hinting at the complexity of lives woven together by old secrets and second chances. The setting has a lived-in authenticity—every coffee shop corner and sunlit backyard feels like a place you could wander into, with just enough tension simmering beneath the surface to keep you turning the pages.
Davis’s writing style is inviting and heartfelt, with dialogue that rings true and emotional moments that never tip into melodrama. She balances vivid descriptions with a brisk pace, making it easy to sink into the story and stay there. There’s a warmth to her prose that makes even the most bittersweet scenes feel comforting, and her ability to evoke longing and hope is a real standout. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to her books, this one is a gentle, satisfying escape.
Sioban Davis is one of those authors you cannot wait for her next book come!! When book is here your in a slump because it's over!! Out od all the Authors I wish shr had a new book every month.. But great writing takes time and Great Story takes time.. Sioban Stories are amazing.. The way she tell as story and rips your heart out and puts it back.
Well this book is like that also. It new and refreshing but still has the same plot twist you did not see comeing the rollercoster of heartach between two couples who found love and lost but broght back together again.. It was not an easy road for these two ... This book I could not put down and sugfest you have a few day off. It sticks with you.
There is more I love to say but it give details of the book and I do not spoil the book. I have to say read it and you will not be sorry.
Astrid is starting her senior year of high school. She’s focused on graduating and perusing interior design. Callan and his family have just moved from Ireland. He is Astrid’s new neighbor across the street. He was playing soccer and waiting to be drafted to the premier league after high school. And now he doesn’t feel like he has that chance in Vermont. As soon as he graduates he plans on moving back. When he meets Astrid they get along and there is chemistry. But they both agree to just friends because they have the same goals and don’t want to be distracted from them. Soon they realize that they can still reach their goals and have a relationship. It all goes according to plan. Until it’s time for Astrid to join him. And everything changes. What an emotional story with a lot of ups and downs. And definitely some twist.
So first off, young/new adult romance is not my favourite. And I wanted to try this ARC because Ive had mixed results with Siobahn Davis work in the past.
Im glad I did. This is good. Callan and Astrid weave a sorry, angsty and well written tale of love prevailing over evil. While their story depicts neither person as perfect, you can't help but feel for these two with everything that they battle, and the time they lose doing so.
Theres a hint of fake dating, sexual abuse, found family and a mystery element to this story that unravels not unexpectedly but keeps you enthralled anyway. I loved the scenes with either of there families, depicted so realistically and I loved that Travis stayed by Callans side through it all.
This one only loses a star for the way in which the two reconnect. It felt too obvious and trite to me.
Callan and Astrid met senior year at Ryemont High, and they each have their dreams. Astrid to become an interior designer, and Callan to play in the England Premier league, and neither are looking for love, but fate has other plans. Callan left when he was scouted, breaking Astrid’s heart in the process. Now 10-years later, Astrid is moving on after achieving her dreams, and being engaged to her boss, when she crosses paths with Callan, and he is determined to reveal the truth about the past. This is a well written emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, heartbreak, angst, secrets, revelations, second chances, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, and unpredictable, small-town romance. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
After my Dad passed away last August, I was in a book slump. Books could not keep my attention. I have read one other book that has helped some, but I should have known that a book by author Siobhan Davis would bring me back in a big way. This story is a total roller coaster ride that will have your emotions all over the place. I had trouble putting it down to what I needed for my Mom. I needed to continue to read so I could find out what happens in the end. It is well worth the wait. This story is filled with friends, family, like-minded lovers, and outside forces doing what they do. I wanted to reach in and punch the evil witch in the face. But in the end, love wins. I received an ARC copy of this book, and this is my honest review.
