“There are times when you should respond to a crisis with dignity and a level head. This was not one of those times.”
Whether it stems from love or a sense of responsibility, Anja will do whatever it takes to break the curse and set Rob free, but the price might prove too high. Knowing the circumstances that led to Rob’s betrayal, Anja does her best to forgive him – but can she forget? And where does Bishop’s long lost Sire fit in? Bishop’s made no secret of the fact that he loves Anja, but will that love survive when Carys crooks her finger? Carys has spent her entire life being catered to and adored; what will she think of this newbie vamp who’s taken her place at Jakob’s side and in Bishop’s heart? Ancient curses and past betrayals aside, Anja just might find that the hardest obstacle to overcome is a green eyed monster.

Okay so I found the Forged Bloodlines series about a year and a half ago. Since then I've devoured all the books as quickly as I could get my hands on them. I fell in love with Anja and Bishop. I both loved and hated Jakob. I cheered as Anja became stronger and cried at the heart breaks she endured. Most of the things I've been dying to know, the questions I've pondered, were answered in this book.
What's the saying? Be careful what you wish for. :)
I was happy to see how things worked out in the end with only one exception. Rob. Now I'm not saying Im team Bishop, because... I guess when it comes down to it I'm not. I rooted for Rob. I loved the way he loved Anja. I love the way he treated her, the way they interacted. I loved rob and the way he loved her. To see their relationship take hit after hit... Is heartbreaking. I love Bishop. But I love Rob more.
I was thrilled to see the changes, finally, in Jakob, but part of me doesn't believe they will last. while I don't think he should have been ended under the blade (or pencil) I do think that Jakob and his kind should remove themselves from the world. They are too dangerous. even Jakob and his newly found morals. as for the New Elder of Ventis ... I think the most appropriate thing to do is kill her. Ding Dong the bitch is dead. Of course I am much more vengeance driven than Anja. I would have tortured her to release both Bishop and Rob, and then killed her for using compulsion on them both. I feel the world would be a better place without the piece of pretty petty mindless (slutty) fluff.
I look forward to the next book and totally recommended this book and series. I just warn you to have tissues on hand for the inevitable tears.
Just you wait...This book is going to make you feel SO MUCH and it seems like the feelings just keep on piling up on you until you feel the NEED to explode! Good...Bad... I'll NEVER tell!
So much going on in this book... Anja gains some competition, love triangle? Pffffft.. how about a love square? Curse? It's taken care of, but at what cost? This book will change EVERYTHING! I can't tell you how many times I wanted to throw my kindle across the room, or how many times I sat trying to catch my breath...So many emotions stirring inside of me just writing this review. For a book to make you feel THAT much, good or bad, amazing. For a writer to take hold of your heart like that, amazing. For a book to touch you like that, epic! READ THIS BOOK! START THIS SERIES!!!
Ughhh. I loved all the Forged Bloodlines books, but I absolutely HATED this one. There is almost no action at all - just a lot of useless talking and hashing out the same conversations with her friends over and over and over. With the other books I loved the slow, sweet romance with Anja and Rob, but after everything they've been through, she ends up with Bishop?? Boring, boring Bishop? The romance was horrible in this book, the sex was disgusting, no new interesting characters were developed ... There was just nothing fun about this book at all, just a lot of nastiness. I think I might be done with this series.

Oh goodness where to start? I was much happier with how book 9 was written! Yes ups and downs throughout but the ending was perfect. Nothing like with book 8 where Ms. Olsen left my mouth hanging open in shock! It matters not, all the books in this series got 5 stars from me because I'm in love with all things Rob and Bishop no matter their flaws. I will never like how Anya always seems so indecisive to me. I would love to see Carys punished for her deeds. Something is wrong with her. And with that said I will still come back to read these books and recommend them to anyone who loves all things Vampire.
I just finished reading books 1_9 of this series and I can't say enough positive things about it. The characters are well developed and relatable- despite the fact that they are supernatural. The storyline is unique- I've never read about vampires like these! And they were a joy to read because they weren't predictable. To read this particular novel you need to read the first 8 books first. It's a wonderful addition to this adventure! I can hardly wait for the next one!
My stomach is still reeling. The ups and downs in this book are enough to make you almost barf. After reading this book I can honestly say that I hate Carys. I just want to rip her eyes out. There are times when I was laughing and times when I was sobbing. When an author can take you on such a journey, you know it is very well written. I highly recommend this book. I have fallen even deeper for Bishop. ~~sigh~~ Onward to the next installment. From a true Fan... Pam James
Just another awesome read... Anja is on the right track... finally... but about 1/2 way through I I did the out loud ohhhhhhh noooo that 'B' didn't!!! He was going to.... and the B did what??? I had to stop reading and just calm down and not send a how could you Facebook note to Lisa Olsen.... it was really hard not to!!! Love this world Lisa created.... can't stop reading!! On to 10!!!!
Holy Cow! I absolutely loved this book! If you are looking for a good read this series is it! I have not been disappointed with any of these books in the Tempt Me Series. Anja is one strong women. The roller coaster of emotions I felt reading this book there isn't any words to describe how I felt except UNBELIEVEABLE!
This has been a very well writin series and I highly recommened them! U feel every frustration, joy, hurt and love with each and every character in these books. I can not wait for book 10 to become available.
I'm usually a fast reader, but this book I just couldn't put down.I love Anja as a catcher and the things she believes in. I like the way the story is turning so far
