A fun, if sorta silly, book about bag lunches. It's a good way to discuss food with Tot. The art is cute enough.

Was an easy/quick read that could be read by child in 1st/second grade. It talks about what we will do to fit in with a new group of friends. This story could relate to a lot of what children go through in schools today. I loved how in the end the author actually put in the book the recipe for Dinosaur Pizza.

This story really focuses on how one little girl tries to make new friends like her and "fit in."

While this prompts discussion about how it is okay to be different, children certainly like making their own dinosaur pizza as an extension activity!
