Twisted Paths continued on the story about Liane and Blake. Blake and Liane's lives did not turn out the way they had planned. When we are young we have so many hopes and dreams that some we can make come true. While others, people and/or events prevent them from coming true.

The characters in this series are easy to relate to because they experience some of the same or similar experiences as we do in our lives. Their journeys take them on a rollercoaster ride where they experience a gamut of emotions.

The question is where do their journeys lead them? Do any of their hopes and dreams for the future come true? Do they get their HEAs?

I recommend you read both Twisted Souls and Twisted Paths. The books as your read them, will have you feeling all sorts of emotions. You can get a sense of how the characters are feeling as they relate to your own personal experiences. Make sure to have your tissues you handy because I know I needed them. These are must reads because this is an amazing series.

**FULL REVIEW**

“He said he didn’t love me anymore, and that I didn’t love him, either. How can he say that? I have given him my entire life; all of me at all times.”

Fast forward eighteen years…

Once again Liane finds herself at a crossroad, but for a different reason. She’s made her decisions and stuck by them; being a loving and faithful wife and mother. Now, her only son is off to college and her husband wants out of their marriage.

“Of course I have my career and my friends, but at the end of the day, I have put everything on the back burner for Carter and Ronan for so long, I have no idea who I am or what I want anymore. All I know at this moment is that I need to get out of here and go to Sanibel.”

Sanibel. Where a lifetime of friendship and love began so many years ago…and where she hasn’t been since for fear of running into the one person she let go in order to fulfill her obligations. Not that it mattered—he never fought for her anyhow.

“I had never stood up to Ronan or anyone else for that matter. It’s about time I find my backbone and put it back where it belongs. The problem is, I have no idea how to do that.”

On the search to find herself after all these years, Liane spends time in the one place that has always soothed her soul…and finds her mate has been waiting eighteen years for her to return.

“At this moment, we aren’t two heartbroken, angry people with a lifetime of regret; we’re Li and Blake, lost soul mates given another chance to make it right.”

And right they do…with the help of Mia, Li’s new friend, and Melinda, Blake’s ex-wife. It’s not until tragedy strikes that they truly find out what really kept them apart all those years…and why.

“I know I’m an asshole. I grew up that way, and I’ve just continued it. It was more about winning her than it was about doing what was right. But now I have to take care of this.”

It just might be too little too late.

What a wonderful, happy ending to a gut-wrenching, heartbreaking-heart mending tale. I needed this to end the way it did…and I wasn’t disappointed in the least! Thank you LL Collins for being the true romantic you are and for finding the redeeming qualities in even the lowest life forms of a man…this was a perfect way to leave the series…except Carter. Carter is my new favorite…but I feel odd saying that because I also feel like his mom! I look forward to him finally finding love like his parents did…and maybe a happily ever after without all the drama.

Book #2 picks up much later than book #1 ends! We get to see all of the same characters & a few new ones also! (Don't want to give anything away) We learn more on what & why the things happened in book 1! Omg I'm getting pissed thinking about it!! I seriously wanted to throat punch certain peps!

Loved this book! Loved the characters & plot twists & turns! It's really hard not saying too much! I can't wait for everyone to read it! Mad props to LL for this amazing series! Way to bring out the feels!

Let me just say, get yourself prepared because the secrets that will be exposed in Twisted Paths will have you screaming WTH!! I don't want to give much away because I felt like I was on a roller coaster and there was no way of getting of until the every end. I will also say that Ronan has earned a top place in my "Most Hated" people, that low life!!!

While Twisted Souls tore my heart out, Twisted Paths put it back in place and had me sighing and smiling like a fool. ~ Kara, 5 Beautiful stars

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

The continuation of Liane and Blake's story, it must be read after Twisted Souls. An excellent read and not an easy book to put down. Recommending not starting until/unless there is time to finish in one sitting. A definite five star read.

When Liane Kelly became Liane Collier, life changed for both her and Blake McIntyre. They were the closest friends and over that one summer, they became far more than that. But fate and other forces had other plans for them, plans that would take them away from each other for nearly two decades. It takes Blake four years to even set foot back in Sanibel but it takes Liane eighteen. Her life is in flux, after spending half of it focused on her husband Ronan and their son Carter. But now, she finds herself asking questions she never thought she'd ever have to ask and they're questions that both Blake and Ronan only have the answers to. They loved and lost eighteen years ago, but when changes are forced upon Liane, will she the path she chooses to take this time around finally lead her to the one who owns her heart and soul? Blake was forced to endure the loss of the only girl he's ever loved and having her back in Sanibel brings a rush of memories. Has he been gifted with a chance with his Li or is this simply his shot at saying goodbye?

Gah! This book! It stirs feelings within you to the point that they crisscross--joy and melancholy, despair and hope, love and hate... So many choices were taken out of both Liane's and Blake's hands and you can't help but wish the hands of time could be turned back. But after their hearts stopped breaking, their lives went on and they found their own version of contentment elsewhere. Contentment, however, can always change, depending on the circumstances you find yourself in. There are truths these two have no clue are simply waiting to be discovered or to be brought out into the open and when you learn them, it's heartrending. Liane, just like before, had me ambivalent in the beginning, but she soon grew on me again. Blake, on the other hand, has always stood out, once again putting his emotions on display and hoping that things will go differently this time around. Ronan...well, I called him selfish in my review for the first book and my opinion hasn't changed. Make sure to read both Twisted Souls and Twisted Paths. Five-plus stars. ♥

Liane thought she'd chosen well and that she has the life she's always wanted. Her special summer with Blake was eighteen years ago. Liane is a teacher and Blake is a business owner. Life hasn't been easy for them. Liane has to make some difficult choices again that might finally lead her to a happy life. What will she do and will she have a chance to have a good and loving future?

L.L. Collins tells her stories from different points of view. That way the reader has the chance to get to know both Blake and Liane very well. I liked that a lot. I enjoyed looking into their hearts. Twisted Paths is again a story filled with difficult moments. There's sadness, but there's also joy. I couldn't wait to find out what Blake and Liane's future would be like.

I love books about soulmates and therefore couldn't wait to read this series. I loved both stories equally and it's fun to read about the same people when they're teenagers and when they're in their thirties. I like the idea and think L.L. Collins has written a fantastic history of two people who love each other more than anything in the world. Life isn't always kind, so there are many obstacles on their paths. I loved the ending and shed a few tears when I read it. Liane and Blake are in my heart, they're amazing main characters.

L.L. Collins is a good story teller. I love that she can describe emotions in so many different ways. Her main characters aren't always strong, they are human and they make mistakes. That only made me like them more. If you're looking for a good romantic story with a lot of depth I highly recommend the Twisted series, it's really great.

I was given the honor of beta reading this amazing story!!

LL Collins is a master at gut wrenching, tear your heart out and stomp on it, emotionally charged stories, and this book is no different!!

This story continues 18 years after the devastation that was Twisted Souls. Liane is taking only child to college and she thought her life couldn't be any better. Loving, faithful, hard working husband( a career she loves, and an amazing child all grown up. At least, that's what she thought...she never forgot what happened 18 years ago and never got the closure she needed, when her husband destroys her perfect bubble, it is time for Liane to find herself again and with the help of a new friend and someone back from the past, maybe, just maybe she can REALLY have the life she has always wanted!

When Blake and Liane meet again....sigh....it's like two hearts have finally become one...Blake (if possible) is even HOTTER than before!! But of course their path isn't laid in flowers and straight, but filled with twists and turns and quick sand. Can they find their happily ever after or is it too late?

Another amazing, tear filled read that I just couldn't put down!!!! LL Collins NEVER ceases to amaze me! GET THIS BOOK!!!

A great ending to a great series!!

Review on behalf of myself and Back Off My Book Boyfriend

I will confess to having been itchy and anxious for this book to come out because although Twisted Souls leaves you in a good spot.... I just needed more!

Let me say, this book did NOT disappoint. I felt like I was reading a whole new author! This is such a different style of writing from this authors previously written books. And I love it! I love when an author can successfully write in a whole new style and still hook me!

Now to the goods...... You won't actually get any from this review because frankly, you should read this book with an open and untainted mind. You will however get that I went on a roller coaster and still haven't found my footing. I'm still trying to determine when exactly my head started spinning because yes, it's still spinning. This is how great this book is. I do recommend that you read Twisted Souls first because if you attempt to read this first, you'll be lost and not in the good way. So sit back, relax and finish the Journey of Li, Ronan (grrrrrrrr) and Blake.

WOW!! LL sure knows how to write a book! After reading Twisted Souls, I couldn't wait for this book to see where she would take it. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint!! I had a major book hangover :)

In this book we fast forward 18 years later. Liane is still married to Ronan and her son Carter is headed to college. Everything isn't as great as it seems and Ronan is a jerk. After being married to Liane for 18 years, he just makes a life changing decision shattering everything Liane believed in. My heart broke for her.
Liane goes away..back to the summer home she went to when she was younger and who does she bump into? Yes Blake!!! I was so happy to see him again because after everything that happened, he was going down a dangerous path. Not to give away any spoilers because you have to experience this series for yourself.

So many things happen and shocking revelations come to light, which Ronan plays a part in. Do yourself a favor and read this series! You will experience every emotion possible. At the end I was happy and even happier with that Epilogue ;)

Twisted Paths Book 2 in the Twisted Series by LL Collins was one of my favorites of 2015. We meet Liane, Blake and Ronan in Twisted Souls. This is 18 yrs later as all sorts of twisted things happen. You will want to grab your box of tissues and hold on for this twisted ride. Mrs. Collins knows how to write words that make your soul and your heart happy!! Highly recommended series!! This is not a stand alone. Please get Twisted Souls before this amazing read!

I think the author had a good story to tell but got way ahead of herself.
For the past month I’ve read books so boringly slow paced, this though had the opposite problem.

Things were moving at the speed of light.

Liane’s husband, Ronan, leaves her.
She cries about it and tries obsessively contacting him nonstop while she’s on a trip.
Liane bumps into our hero, Blake. Ronan suddenly doesn’t matter anymore.
It’s awkward. Blake still loves her and wants to try being friends at least.
She’s not sure, but a second later, they’re past being friends and actually want to be together again. INSTANTLY just like that.
A misunderstanding that lasted 19 years was solved the second they met again.
24 hrs haven’t even passed yet and Liane suggests they see a psychiatrist, a friend she met at a beach who so conveniently happened to be a psychiatrist.
Every page is more ridiculous than the page before it.

This is an American telenovela.
I gave it two stars because it’s entertaining in an unhinged way.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Twisted Paths is the second book in the Twisted Duet and not a stand alone. You must read Twisted Souls first.
Twisted Paths picks up 18 years forward, where Twisted Souls ends.
Carter is about to go to college and Li comes home to a abandoned house and a letter where Ronan awaits a divorce from her.
She´s devastated, finds him cheating and leves to her childhood holiday recluse. And there he is Blake. Her one, her soulmate. They reunite, but fate and karma have a way to go in the way.
I loved the first book and I couldn´t wait to read this one. And I loved it too. The writing is great, I love the words and I love the characters. 5 Star and thank you, LL Collins.

Wow!! What a conclusion. So many questions answered. Ronan, well he was evil. We know what he did in book 1 and we hope that Li finds out, or do we? I loved and hated this story throughout. But over all, it was really good.

Guest Review by Melody Dawn

Just recently, I read and reviewed the first book, Twisted Souls, which led to Twisted Paths. Most likely, if you are reading this review, you have read both books. I knew when the first book ended, there was way more to the story. But, I never dreamed in a million years what L.L. Collins had in store for us. If you recall, the twisted love triangle (my name for it )...Liane and Ronan are married with a son named Carter. In Twisted Paths, it is fast forwarded to the present and Carter is 18 and heading off to college. To my surprise, Liane and Ronan were still together. Secretly, I was hoping she had somehow gotten back with Blake. Yes, I am very definitely Team Blake...Ronan? Not so much! After Liane gets back from taking Carter to his first day of college, she is greeted by a letter from Ronan. And no, I am not telling you what it says, but all I can say is a***ole! I knew he was a jerk of epic proportions, but this tops it even for him.

It is hard for me to write this review, because I want to tell you what happened...but you need to read the book. All I can say is that L.L. Collins named her book correctly...fate sends us down some crazy twisted paths. Just when you think life is going to be one way forever, fate steps in and your path takes another twist and turn. There were so many secrets that were held by certain parties over the years. Secrets that tore two soul mates apart and turned a boy’s life inside out. I can honestly say I really really hate Ronan. So, obviously, I’ve said enough for you to know that Ronan did something to keep Liane and Blake apart. If you want to find out what it is and how it turned out, read Twisted Paths. It is one of those books that is not to be missed out on and it also can make even the most skeptic of romance believe in true love.

I don’t even have to think about whether or not to give this book 5 stars. I would give it more if I could. I love the intensity in L.L. Collins’s writing. In Twisted Souls, I felt like my heart had been ripped out and now in Twisted Paths, it feels like it was ripped out again, but this time it was put back together. Twisted Paths is an emotional heart wrenching love story that reinforces the fact that love does conquer all. Yes, it might sound cheesy and repetitive, but it’s the only way I know how to put it. Even though there were years of deceit and pain, love came in and wrapped itself around this family and made it whole again. Just wait, when you read it, you will understand what I mean.

I love how Ms. Collins ended the story. Somehow I think Carter is going to have a great love of his own. I only hope it doesn’t take the path of his parents. When I say that, I mean, I hope he doesn’t have to go through the pain that they did. Well shoot, I think I just gave something away! Twisted Paths is awesome...do yourself a huge favor and read this book. But, by all means, have some tissues and maybe some chocolate...it helps get you through the rough spots!

✯✯5 Second Chance Stars!!!✯✯

***WARNING IF YOU DID NOT READ TWISTED SOULS DO NOT READ THIS REVIEW! THERE WILL BE SPOILERS!!***

What a follow up book and conclusion to the Twisted series! I was devastated when Twisted Souls ended. I could not believe that Blake got so manipulated by the one person who had every reason to want him away from Liane. When I started this book I was very scared. I had no idea what I was going to get myself into.

This story picks up 18yrs after Twisted Souls ended. Liane has dropped her son Carter off at college. Carter is her only son and their bond runs deeper then the normal mother/son relationship. It's nice to see that Carter brings her so much happiness. When Liane returns home her life is instantly turned upside down. Ronan has left. Took all his stuff but a letter letting her know he's leaving her.

Liane does the first thing that pops into her head. Liane goes to the one place she hasn't gone to in 18yrs. Sinabel Island. Since those 2 perfect weeks with Blake she has not returned. Now, she's heading back and part of her hopes she'll see him. The other part doesn't know what she really wants.

Liane gets to her parents timeshare and the memories from that summers 18yrs ago come rushing back to her. Every where she looks she can see & feel Blake. But, that doesn't prepare her for when she actually sees him for the first time. Both Liane & Blake are speechless for what seems like forever.

When they finally do talk man was it intense! There's 18yrs of question and answers that need to be put out there before they can move forward. Liane & Blake have so many of their own demons in their closets. Faking feelings, alcoholism and a butt load of other stuff. Just when they think everything is out and they can move on. One of them gets a phone call.

Now, they're both rushing back. But, they thought all the secrets and the deceit was over. They get the biggest one yet. Even I didn't see that one coming. All I will say that the person responsible for this needs to be put down!! There was so many things. I found myself crying over & over. It never seemed to stop.

LL Collins finished up Liane & Blake story perfectly! I was happy with the way it ended. There were some subjects she wrote & handled beautifully. I would of been upset if it was written the right way. Liane is such a strong woman. I was so glad she finally opened up her eyes and saw what was in front of her. She finally lived for herself. And, fought for what she wanted. Blake finally saw what was in front of him. Owned up to his wrong doing and put up a fight. It was the perfect ending to a perfect series.

Reviewed By Donna Elsegood on behalf of Kindle Friends Forever.

This is the second and final part of the Twisted Series. The story of Blake McIntyre and Liane Kelly, or now known as Collier.

Twisted Souls’ story was set eighteen years earlier. They had chosen their paths all those years ago with Liane seeing her son Carter off to college. This pained her as she had always been a devoted wife and mother; married to a hard working provider for their little family. She was young and still at school when Carter was born, but even so, she managed to fulfil her dream of becoming a teacher.

Suddenly she is dropped from a great height and everything she believed about her life’s path is not what it seems. Liane decides to run away to the family holiday retreat in Sanibel in Florida where the family have a timeshare.

Blake McIntyre returns every year to Sanibel to relive his memories of his one true love. Blake's family desperately wants him to move on but he still can't let go. He is a recovering alcoholic due to not coping very well with what life has dealt him. Divorced with no children, he still lives in hope.
Blake and Liane paths cross again at Sanibel and old feelings are felt.

Quote: Blake ~ "I want to help, whatever it is," "No matter what, I want to be your friend. We were friends before... we've always been friends. So if you want to talk I'm here."

Quote: Liane ~ "I haven't seen you in years Blake," "I'm not sure being friends as kids classifies us as friends now."

There is a lot to work through for these two protagonists as it’s clear they are still in love. Even after all these years, they were truly meant to be together. A tragedy strikes and everything they have ever believed in comes crashing down around them.

I was on the edge of my seat as truths were unfolded. I couldn’t believe what I was reading, and I must admit I despised Ronan in Twisted Souls but in this segment, a little part of me felt sorry for him. Just a little part, I might add! Blake and Liane are fantastic characters and to see where the story took them held my attention so much that I forgot everything else around me. Great supporting characters and I loved Carter. What a lovely young man and I know we’re going to get a story about him. I loved the whole plot, the author’s style of writing, and I will definitely be reading more of her work. Let’s just say all the frantic reading wanting to know what happens, plenty of angst included, was well worth it with a satisfactory outcome.

5 Swoon-worthy STARS

I’ve been sitting here, days after finishing the book and wondering how to get started with this review. After I finished Twisted Souls, the first book, I was left in disbelief. I had gone through so many emotions while reading and I was in love with the story, but at the end I had one emotion, anger, which begged me to go and find LL Collins’ house and cover it with toilet paper…ok, just kidding, I’m not that evil, maybe just do that to her car ;-) OK, I’m really kidding this time. Anyway, I was an emotional mess and in a funk for a while. But once I stopped and composed myself, I remembered there was a second book and knowing her, she would do me proud and fix the story. Boy, did she ever!

I am an emotional mess once again, but not in a bad way. I am ecstatic about how things turned out. LL Collins brought everything full circle for her characters. The story continues 18 years after the events of Book One and we are given more of the same characters and introduced to some very important new ones.

Liane is now a mother and wife, living a life of “happiness”. But there are always ripples in life that cause chaos and disturb our way of living. When Liane finds herself in a situation she never expected, she goes back to that summer Time Share where her childhood was spent making wonderful memories and is pushed into Blake, that love she hasn’t been able to forget. Both are now very different from those carefree teenagers that we remember. They are now full of hurt and doubts, yet stronger than they ever were.

Secrets are revealed, emotions are high, the sexual tension is thick, and the love that was thought lost, resurfaces, making this one hell of a rollercoaster. In true LL Collins fashion, we are broken and then put back together. I am so in love with Blake and the strength in character that he shows in this book. His determination to right those wrongs from years ago is just so swoon worthy.

There were so many instances where the tears stopped my reading, as I suffered with these characters during those moments where the unraveling of secrets just tore their hearts apart. As each lie was exposed, I could feel the anguish and frustration they were experiencing at knowing how different things could’ve been. But just the same, their happiness and love radiated off the pages, causing the butterflies in my stomach to do their happy dance.

I hope I am not giving anything away because I believe everyone should fully enjoy this book. I absolutely loved it!!! Make sure you grab your copy.

I could not have been more impatient while waiting for this book. L.L. Collins left my heart broken and bruised at the end of Twisted Souls and I desperately needed to hear the rest of this story. Twisted Paths was everything I hoped for and so much more. L.L. Collins did an incredible job with this story, taking me on an emotional and heart wrenching journey with her words. L.L. Collins has truly outdone herself with this complicated story that unravels to reveal truths you should have seen coming since the first book. She expertly hid each and every piece of the puzzle, until you can’t believe you hadn’t already figured out how this story would end.

Li and Blake are all grown-up and they live with the scars of their pasts. L.L. Collins transformed these characters so completely from the first book that I was stunned. Gone were the young, carefree teenagers of Twisted Souls, leaving readers with characters that had been disappointed by the direction of their lives and jaded by circumstance. Li and Blake were both clear reflections of the paths they’d traveled down over the past 18 years and it absolutely broke my heart. The flame between Li and Blake proves to never have extinguished, burning quietly over the years, waiting for that small drop of gasoline to provide permission to rage in all its fiery glory.

In some ways, Twisted Paths was easier on my heart than Twisted Souls, while in others it managed to cut me even deeper. While I was relieved that Liane finally saw Ronan for who he really was, I was also concerned by the added adult complications of established families, jobs, and homes. There were moments while reading where I could feel the butterflies building in my stomach as the love between Li and Blake radiated off of the page. Tears found me when their lives began to unravel and my heart hurt every time another lie was exposed. The writing in Twisted Paths absolutely consumed me until I was drowning in Li and Blake’s world. L.L. Collins has a talent that is captivating and seriously magical. I already miss this remarkable couple.

Twisted Paths is not a standalone book. You do need to read book one Twisted Souls first.
Liane is at a crossroad in her life, realizing that life is a series of choices, and every one we make sends us down a different path. She stuck by her decision she made at the end of book one, now eighteen years later a curveball is thrown at her. It is easy to look back over those years and see mistakes that were made and wonder how things would have been different if a different path was taken. Does she now follow her heart or choose the one that may have more twists and turns but leads her to the happiest tomorrows?
For half of her life Liane has done her best to be a loving and faithful wife and the best mother she could be. Her son is now eighteen and going away to college. Dropping him off a college, memories of how her life could have been different if she didn’t get pregnant at eighteen play in her mind to only return home to realize what was is no longer.
This is a gut-wrenching story of people coming to terms with decisions and paths that were taken in book one. It is also a heartbreaking and heart mending story. I could not put this book down and seeing all the truths come about played a part in keeping me on the edge of my seat. I’m disappointed in the fact that I can not give this a 5 star review as there were a couple issues with some scenes and one that really sticks out to me is where 4 people are going to have a discussion in hopes of working on dealing with all the fallout and before the 4th person arrives, one character leaves and we never have that discussion or any other mention about this needed discussion. Besides that issue, this book was otherwise a 5 star read. The author wrote so that we could feel the love, pain, hate, sympathy, joy and passion. It was as if you were in the scenes with the characters.
I will be reading more from this author and am looking forward to the spin off series as I need to know more about this character.
I was able to read this book as part of Kylie’s Fiction Addiction.

4 1/2 Stars!!!

Finally the conclusion to Liane, Blake, and Ronan's story!

Even thought Twisted Souls only came out a month ago, I feel like I've been waiting forever to see how everything ends for these characters.

Fast forward 18 years from the ending of Twisted Souls and you will see how much has changed with these characters. Things in the past 18 years haven't been easy for any of these characters, and as much as some of them thought they were happy, they truly weren't and we see that once this story starts to progress.

Ronan ends up destroying the perfectly happy little bubble that Liane has been living in for the past 18 years, and in more ways than one. He is a HORRIBLE person and I already disliked him, so now I can safely say I HATE Ronan! But as much as I hate him, what he did allowed Liane to live her life how she wanted, and many things change for her in such a short period of time.

Seeing Blake again made me so happy! I absolutely adored his character, and he has not had a great 18 years, and has never given up on his love for Liane. So when these two meet again for the first time in forever, my heart was so happy for them! Them seeing each other isn't easy for either one of them, and after getting everything out, you'd think they'd be fine, but the crap just seems to be piling on for them.

There is so much in this book that I can't type in the review as it will majorly spoil the story for all readers. But let me tell you this, all of the different paths that L.L. Collins takes us on in this book are beautiful and twisted. This book was definitely emotional, and brought out so many feelings for me.

If you haven't read Twisted Souls yet, you MUST read that book first prior to reading Twisted Paths. Twisted Paths ends in a perfect way and after the tears, anger and frustration throughout the book, my heart was happy when I read the end, and then even more so when I read the epilogue.

4 stars for Twisted Souls by L L Collins! This is the first book in the Twisted series, and it is simply awesome.

Liane and Blake have grown up together, and they are the best of friends. Their families meet in Florida for two weeks every year. One summer, Blake decides to tell Liane that he has been in love with her for a long time. Things don't turn out as he had imagined. Liane freaks out and quits coming to the beach for two years.

While living in her hometown of Kentucky, Liane fallsl in love with a boy named Ronan who she has dated for two years. Liane thought they would one day marry, but boy was she wrong. Ronan broke up with her so he could be free to experience college as a single guy. Of course, this news devastated Liane. She decides to go on the family beach trip for the first time in years, and she is blown away by Blake's good looks and even sweeter personality. It doesn't take long for old feelings to surface, and this time they are both honest about their mutual feelings for one another. Their vacation is perfect, but reality comes calling, Liane returns to Kentucky to attend college while Blake returns to South Carolina for school. They each promise to do whatever it takes to keep their love alive, but outside forces are plotting against them. Events transpire and it seems that Blake has lost Liane forever.

I really enjoyed this book! The story line progressed at the perfect pace, and the characters were very well developed. I can't wait to read the second book, Twisted Paths, which is already published. What are you waiting for? One click them ASAP!

This is book two in the Twisted Series.
This book is NOT a standalone.
I gave this book heart wrenching stars.

I have to say that I thought LL had outdone herself with this series and the first book Twisted Souls, but I was wrong this second book is out of this world. This book is still Liane's story and it will continue to tell you what is going to happen to her in her life.

I cannot tell you very much about this book because that would be giving all the good stuff away, but I will say that you have to read this book!! This is a book that will stay with you long after the pages are read and you put it back on your shelf or file it away in your kindle. It is a book that you will pick up again and want to read over and over. Weeks after I read this book I was still thinking about it and the things that happened.. This book will break your heart, it will mend your heart. You will cry and you will laugh. The Characters will become a part of your life for a short while and it will having you wonder how you ever did without a story from LL !! Don't miss this book make sure to pick up !! Twisted Souls is out now and Twisted Paths will be out very shortly!! Thank you LL for an amazing, memorable story that will be in my heart always. You never disappoint with your amazing stories!!!

4-4.5 Stars...whew! What a journey, but I feel like I can now breath. Really enjoyed this conclusion to Twisted series.

I tend to really enjoy highly emotional stories, but I felt all twisted up after completing Twisted Souls. The circumstances of the story really stirred up many of my emotions. I felt a myriad of feelings toward the characters including a strong connection and liking, complete rage and indifference.

Twisted Paths fast forwards quite a bit from the ending of Twisted Souls. It continues to follow Lianne's life but we also get a glimpse into what's been happening with the other characters as well. Gone are the teenagers that we became to know in the first book. They are all adults and living their lives. We get some insight on some of the events that went down in Twisted Souls. Very quickly this story and some of the events began to stir me up. I was very angry with one particular character and just wanted to know why? Lianne is older and more mature and she's living with decisions she's made many years ago.

I am pleased with the way things were tied together. I wasn't sure how everything would be resolved in just one book, but the author did a great job addressing all of the issues. Although this is Lianne's story, I personally felt a deeper connection to another character and found myself wanting to know more about him during those span of years between the two books.

This series will definitely stir up many emotions. It's not an easy journey, but one that mirrors real life at times. In the end it's an enjoyable read that I would recommend.

Twisted Paths begins approximately 18 years after Twisted Souls ends. 18 years is a long time. Choices have been made. Life has happened. And now, it seems, a new path could be emerging.

"You can only be happy if you choose happiness, Liane. One person can't control it. Only you can. If you're always going to see your worth through someone else's eyes, then you'll never be truly happy."
So much has changed from the carefree days of summer vacations at the beach. Liane and Blake are now grown up and facing life on their own. I don't want to say much as to the plot here, but just know that their lives did not take either of them on the expected journey.

This book focuses more on the journey of two souls intertwined. The feelings between Liane and Blake are so deeply rooted, that no matter their life path they are going to be connected. This connection could come in many forms. What form they choose for it to take will be determined.

Throughout this story it's beautiful to see the inner workings of such a strong connection. Often we don't consider how difficult and treacherous a journey to love can be. Thoughts and actions do not always coincide, so we are left to judge from only our perspective. This leaves us lonely at times because we are afraid to express our feelings or because we have received a bad "signal" from the other person. The author does a great job of exploring this deceitful path feelings can lead us down.

Your heart will be pulled right along with Liane & Blake's in this journey to find themselves.

I was pretty emotionally wrecked after Twisted Souls and I didn't know what the hell LL Collins was going to do to me in Twisted Paths, but pretty soon I was lifting my kindle in front of my face to hide the rivulets of tears that were running down my face to avoid my husband's raised eyebrows.

Twisted Paths was an incredible ride that shows you exactly what happens when you allow yourself to love who you love and fuck the rest. This book jumps 18 years into the future - so, no longer are we talking about naive 18 year olds. While these characters have aged, not all of them have matured. Yes, I'm talking about you, RONAN THE ASSHOLE.

However, the love that dripped from the pages was definitely worth all of the suffering I endured in Twisted Souls. Blake is an incredible man. He's absolutely everything and his reappearance in this book was a refreshing cool breeze on a stiflingly hot Florida day. His honesty & vulnerability make him such an incredibly loveable character. Liane became more likeable as each page turned and she began to stick up for herself more and more.

Heartfelt and beautiful writing wash away the pain of Twisted Souls - it's so worth the ride. I loved this series and can't wait to see what's next!

Author L L Collins latest series is outstanding! Through Author LL Collins' excellent writing and strong characters, you feel every emotional gut wrenching twist. They will leave you emotional exhausted and exhilarated at the same time. I highly recommend these books. The actions and emotions of her characters blew me away. I was crushed by their tragedies, giddy with jubilation at their triumphs and awed by the skill she used in portraying such an emotionally gripping and gut wrenching series of stories. Reading her books are like seeing a bad storm approaching, knowing you can't escape it and the only option is having to live through it, and then being exhilarated that you survived, bruised and battered but alive. This series does that to me and will do that to you. The stories that she weaves was a roller coaster of highs and lows that left me exhilarated, saddened and emotionally spent. Not many books make such an emotional impact as hers. Bravo! She is an excellent storyteller and has weaved a gut clenching emotional story with highs and lows. I look forward to reading the other books she writes. Based on this series, she is one of my favorite authors! Be prepared for late nights turning into the wee hours of the morning engrossed in her stories and have plenty of Kleenex ready. This is one of the best series I have read in a long time. The only series that is its equal was the Living Again Series, also written by her.

This is the second book in the Twisted series and if you haven't read Twisted Souls already, you need to!
At the end of Twisted Souls I was devastated, even though the loose ends were wrapped up. When I started reading Twisted Paths and realized how much time had elapsed I was....frustrated, sad, depressed, angry...I am a hopeless romantic so second chance love stories really get to me.
There's not many details about this book that I can mention without giving spoilers away and I definitely don't want to do that. I want you to read this without any idea of what's going to happen because L.L. takes you on a gut wrenching ride that will leave you wanting more! This book was very emotional for me to read because I have fallen in love with these characters that L.L. has created. She has made them multi-dimensional and flawed like real people are. I have watched them grow from teens into adults and I want the best for them.
For me, this book was even better than Twisted Souls because so many secrets and deceptions are revealed and of course L.L. left no question unanswered!
I have decided to forgive L.L. for tearing my heart out throughout most of this book because it was an intense, beautiful journey that I wouldn't want to have missed out on.
I'm giving Twisted Paths 5 stars! I can't wait for L.L.'s next book!
