I received this book as a gift in exchange for an honest review.

Reading Between the Lines from Anna J. Stewart was a pleasant surprise. Since this is a novella, it is a quick read, but don't let that detour you. This book is such a fun and entertaining read, that will leave you wanting to know everything about the people in Lantano Valley. I thoroughly enjoyed the story line and was excited to be introduced to this author's intriguing characters. I could have gone on reading about Cassidy and Ethan for awhile. They were two characters who really clicked for me. I really loved how this author made these characters seem real. The hero in this book isn't perfect and he doesn't want to be. He made a mistake in the past and sets out to right the wrong he did to Cassidy. I just loved Cassidy and Ethan together but I really liked the secondary characters as well. This author did a great job with this book and I can't wait to see what's next.

The Tremayne Family series in Lantano Valley, CA is one I can't wait to read more of! Cassidy & Ethan's story is about second chances and learning to live with your past and learning to love.

Cassidy was from an abusive household and grew up without love, feeling like an outsider.

Ethan was the star baseball player who was tutored by Cassidy. They both needed a scholarship for college-the same one. Will they be able to put their troubled past behind them & find love together?

I won't spoil the story. It was an easy read with characters who are flawed and easy to fall in love with. You want into their world and to know them better. I didn't want to put the story down when life & work interrupted me. I can't wait to read more and find out what happens to each friend in the book club.

You won't be disappointed with Anna Stewart's hit novella and will want to read more of her wit and charm.

A great set up and the characters have promise, but it was way too short to really get any depth. If anything, the heroine could have been more traumatized by her past.

Maybe it was because there were too many characters for such a quick read, as it is meant as an intro to the upcoming series.

The writing itself is excellent and clear. It is a really good novella, just too rushed and cluttered.

The author gave me a free copy in return for an honest review. The author is awesome (but not just for that reason).

Great Read

Ethan and Cass are fun, likable characters that I rooted for from the very beginning. Their conflict is believable and heart-wrenching and how they work through the past is satisfying. Cass is a strong, stubborn woman who had to have things her way, but as she learns to trust, she learns to love, not just Ethan, but the other friends around her.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I will definitely be reading more from Anna J. Stewart.

A quick read, with a sweet romance on second chances. I really enjoyed the characters of Ethan and Cassidy. Loved how Ethan wanted to redeem himself for mistake that he made in high school. I enjoyed the secondary characters, can't wait to read their stories. Loved the book clubs!

This is my first book from the author, and will not be my last.

I first got to know this author as Brenda Novak's able assistant, so I was surprised when she told me she was, also, a writer. Then I was surprised again when I started reading her and learned just how good of a writer she is. In fact, I enjoyed her writing as much as the sweet love story! Looking forward to getting to know Lantano Valley even better.

Reading Between the Lines by Anna J. Stewart: Poignant and sad and uplifting and funny. It’s about discovery from within and forgiveness for yourself and others. It is about real problems that you see all the time. Great story!

I just discovered this author through an anthology, and I'm very impressed. I really enjoyed Cassidy and her friends, I hope we get to know them soon. This was a great book, the writing was extraordinary, the romance had a balance of sweetness and strength that complement each other perfectly.
