Tank
They call me Tank for a reason.
Unstoppable. Impenetrable. Emotionless.
The Savage Riders' VP and weapon, pointed at whoever needs destroying.
Until my estranged sister brings Amelia and her daughter to our clubhouse door.
Her courage in facing monsters, both the one chasing her and the one she sees when she looks at me, awakens something I buried years ago.
Now her ex is in town, badge and gun backing his obsession.
He thinks his authority protects him.
He's about to learn what happens when a man with ice in his veins finally finds something worth burning for.
Some men you run from.
Some you run to.
I'm both.

Tank's Protection is a short, sweet, and steamy small-town instalove romance with a happy-ever-after. It can be read as a standalone or together with the rest of the books in the Savage Riders MC series.

Savage Riders MC

Tank is the VP of the Savage Riders MC who doesn’t let his heart rule his life. He is called in when the dirty side of the business needs to be taken care of. Those walls he has put up are about to come down when his estranged sister shows up with a woman who is beaten and her little girl.

Amelia is on the run from her abusive husband who has a lot of pull as he is a cop. Not only Tank but the rest of his brothers take up protection for Amelia and her daughter. This is when Tank and Amelia find out they have a lot in common and their connection grows. I loved how Tank’s hardened heart warms to Amelia and her little girl and they all find their HEA.

If you crave romance where broken edges collide, danger stalks close, and love grows from protection into something fierce, Tank’s Protection by Zoey Rose will take hold of you and refuse to let go. This is the kind of story that isn’t just read—it’s felt, right in the ribs.

Tank’s name says everything—or so everyone thinks. Cold. Unshakeable. A vice president of the Savage Riders with fists like thunder and a past sealed behind iron walls. He’s the man enemies fear and brothers follow. Human demolition in denim and ink.

Then Amelia and her little girl arrive at his door, terrified, exhausted, and running from a monster who wears a badge.
And the unbreakable man begins to crack.

Amelia is the kind of heroine who stays with you long after the last page—quiet strength wrapped in scars, a mother who refuses to stop fighting even when she’s trembling. Watching her and her daughter slowly thaw Tank’s frozen heart is the emotional payoff. She doesn’t come begging for a hero—she becomes one simply by surviving.

Tank never expected to feel. Never expected to care. Definitely never expected to fall.
But the moment Amelia steps into his world, protection becomes possessive, then tender, then something like salvation.

He isn’t just defending them.
He is claiming them.
And hell follows any man who tries to take them away.

What stood out most for me was the contrast—Tank the silent storm, Amelia the fragile flame—and the way they burn brighter together. There’s violence and danger, yes, but also softness: small smiles, shared meals, a child’s laughter echoing through a clubhouse built for war. Little moments that say “home” when neither thought they’d ever have one again.

This isn’t just an MC romance. It’s a redemption arc wrapped in leather and vulnerability. A story about choosing love, choosing safety, choosing yourself—and watching a man who thought he had nothing left discover he’s capable of everything.

Because some men you run from.
And some men you run to.
Tank? He’s both—depending which side of him you stand on.

💥 Read if you love:
• Protective, dangerous, morally grey heroes with soft centers
• Single mom resilience & found family warmth
• Domestic violence survivor healing arcs handled with care
• MC grit mixed with heart-melting tenderness
• A man who would burn the world for his girls

Raw. Intense. Surprisingly tender.
Tank’s Protection is the kind of story that makes you root, rage, hold your breath, and finally smile—because love like this feels earned.

And trust me… watching Tank fall is so worth it.

The thing I love most about MC romances is the sense of family. Whether it's the brothers, or the women they love and protect. If you're accepted into that life, you're family, no questions asked.

Amelia is running from her violent and abusive ex husband. Her and her daughter Anna run to Amelia's best friend Jenny. Jenny's brother Tank is the VP of the Savage Riders MC. He hadn't spoken to Jenny in years but when she comes to him for help, he barely gives it a second thought. Taking Amelia and Anna someplace safe, while planning how to deal with her exhusband. It doesn't take long before Amelia and Tank realize that they might just be perfect for each other.

Tank had a hard life. His father wasn't abusive, but he was very controlling. Tank also had nightmarish experiences in both the military and while he was a cop. It made him believe all he had left to be was a ruthless enforcer. Amelia and Anna changed that. Tank saw that he had space in his heart to love and care for people.

Amelia thought she had been reduced to nothing but a broken fearful woman. Until Tank. His love and protection awakens the woman she used to be, and prove to her she can be happy again.

I look forward to more in this series.

Getting the Second Chance She Never Expected -
Tank was shocked when his sister arrived seeking help, but once he discovered the reason why he agreed to help. Amelia was weary about whether Tank could help her, but spending time with him and the other members of the MC club started to build her confidence in being safe. The tension between Amelia and Tank grew as they spent time together, which led to them engaging in a mind blowing steamy encounter.

Unfortunately, Amelia’s fear returned when ex-husband traced her to the town where she was, but Tank and the other MC member managed to convince her ex-husband to leave and never contact her in the future. Once Amelia finally felt safe, she was able to start a new life with her daughter, which included a chance at a happily ever after with Tank.

This is a deeply moving story about redemption, healing, emotional transformation and finding real love. This is a powerful story, that I am really happy I got a chance to read, as it was well written and enjoyable. Grab a copy of this short story to read and you won’t regret your decision.

Captivating continuation of the Savage Riders series. Tank is the club VP, and the serious, tactical minded pne. He's also a massive beast of a man. When his estranged sister Jenny shows up with Amelia (and her young daughter, Anna) he can't refuse helping them even though they're in the midst of a club war at the moment. As details about her corrupt cop of an ex are shared, Tank's own history gets pulled into the mix as well (former cop who left due to corruption). The attraction these two share is dangerous in that it makes it that much harder for Tank to focus tactically and maintain 'mission' status with the problem. Will he be driven to make it personal, crossing lines he traditionally wouldn't? Can he ensure their safety against a cop willing to resort to any level to control his ex? This one will draw you in and keep you flipping pages to find out what happens between Tank and Amelia, and Tank and her ex.

Tank's Protection is a powerful, well-written journey of redemption and transformation and is written in Zoey's normal fast action high drama style.

Amelia’s path from a weary survivor to a confident woman is deeply moving. The tension between her and Tank is electric, leading to a steamy encounter that is both high-heat and emotionally grounded and they way he falls for her daughter is oh so sweet. I loved the "found family" vibe of the MC and the way they stood by her to ensure she finally found the safety she deserved for herself and her daughter.

If you love a story with a strong protector, a resilient heroine, and a satisfying happily-ever-after, don't hesitate—grab your copy! You won’t regret it.

Tank's Protection as a short instalove biker romance it is ideal for an afternoon curled up on the sofa as an escape read.
The the storyline was well crafted and paced with single mum Amelia, trying to escape her ex husband and Savage Riders' VP biker Tank being great characters that had me hooked from the get go with their personal histories and attraction towards one another.
Containing a lot of heart and some steamy and spicy scenes, along with some suspense and drama, this quick read is ideal to keep you engaged and give you the feels for their satisfying HEA.

Savage Riders MC is amazing series and where love and danger go hand in hand. Tank's Protection is engaging short read and both main characters - Tank and Amelia both are there for each other - rescuing each other. Amelia ran from her abusive ex and Tank was there to protect her and her daughter Anna. And to give them hope. And they are two broken people finding missing pieces of themselves in each other.
Loved the story-line and characters, their developing feelings for each other. Well written and engaging.

Tank's sister brings a friend of hers and her daughter to him and his MC brothers for protection as she is being hunted by her abuser husband who is a cop. She has tried to leave many times, but he was always able to find her. The way this alpha man who has no weakness and this little slip of a woman who has been beat and her daughter crawl up into his heart and does something to him. I loved every moment of this story and it was sooo good this series just keeps getting better and better. This is a must read!!

The storyline was under developed which is expected for a novella. I enjoy each book this author releases I just always want more. Under 100 pages you don’t get enough character development or world building. This had everything I wanted in a story there just wasn’t enough pages to make it believable. Tanks interaction with the husband is where I started to check out. A controlling abusive man isn’t just going to walk away just on fear of losing his job this felt rushed over.

Amelia and Anna are escaping from a bad situation. Tank has agreed to protect them. But from the moment he sees Amelia he is already fighting feelings he doesn’t want to explore. This book is a really great read. If you love MC books where the toughest alpha males fall and fall hard this is the series for you. I loved this book it was a great addition to this series and I can’t wait to see what happens in book 3.

"Two broken people finding healing in each other"

Ah! I love that as Tank rescues Amelia, she and Anna rescue him right back. They offer each other safety, trust, respect and love, something neither one has ever found in another, but exactly what they need and it's awesome to see. Tank shows her a softer side of him that nobody else has seen, and she offers acceptance of his harder, more ruthless side than protects those who need it.
I really enjoyed this and look forward to more in this series, the next two books are also released this month. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Perfect story.

This was a great story, even if it's A much repeated plot. Woman, and child on the run from an abusive man. A cop, A politician, you get the point. Finding safety from a rough kind of man, but a good one. Amelia runs with Jenny, to her big brother Tank, seeking safety from him for her friend and little girl. I am grateful that the confrontation with the crooked cop husband doesn't drag out. Beautiful ending. Looking forward to the next member finding love. Maybe Jenny and Beast?! Trish.A

a very good read

I enjoyed this story and the characters who pulled me away from my world and into theirs. An abused woman and her daughter flee from her husband the cop. They find an MC family who protects and loves them when they find Tank, the MC VP. There is a confrontation with the dirty abusive cop which is quickly handled. While the memories of abuse still sometimes haunt the, they have found a new family and a wonderful man with which to journey through life. Enjoy this one. HEA, no cheating,no cliffhanger. Nice ending

Quick, engaging read. Tank, the VP of an MC, meets Amelia and her daughter Anna while they’re on the run from Amelia’s abusive ex-husband. Tank doesn’t expect to fall for the weary single mom, but witnessing her strength and determination to build a better life for Anna pulls him in fast. Even as danger closes in, both Tank and Amelia are determined to fight for their happiness. A great story with heart, resilience, and romance.

Protective Orders are Paper Tissue

Tank and Amelia’s story is book 2 in the Savage Riders MC series. It revolves around domestic violence and how it’s made harder to prosecute when the abuser is a police officer. Zoey Rose gives us hope that there’s someone out there willing to go that extra mile to keep us safe. 4✨’s for a well written story with wonderful characters.
