It was a one-time thing, that night with Dane Badd. Or, at least, that was the idea. Brain-melting, earth-shaking, life-changing sex. The kind of sex you dream about for weeks and months after. The kind of sex that ruins you for anyone else.

And guess what this trauma-riddled dumpster-fire of a woman did during said sex to ruin it entirely? I had the mother of all panic attacks…my specialty.

He didn’t deserve it; he didn’t deserve any of my crazy….which is a lot. Sure, I have my reasons, and good ones, but it’s not the kind of thing you can just explain to people.

No, it’s better this way—he’s better off without me.

Which is why I left.

I wish I could be what he wants, but I can’t. I’m not. I don’t think I ever can be.

Dane Badd, however, has other ideas.

* * *

Lindsey Snelling. She’s gorgeous, wickedly funny, and bitingly sarcastic—if you know anything about the Badd family, you know we love us some sarcasm. But beneath the snarky sarcasm, witty banter, inappropriate humor, and show-stopping curves, she’s shut down and closed off. She’s got walls a hundred miles high and a hundred miles thick. Nothing—no one—gets in or out.

That night, though? The one night we shared? Yeah, the sex was beyond incredible...until she flipped out on me for no reason I can figure out. A hysterical meltdown of epic proportions…and I couldn’t do a damn thing about it. I couldn’t help. She wouldn’t talk to me beyond screaming at me to leave; it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but I left.

I just can’t stay away. I try. God, I try. Weeks pass. She attends Duncan and Rune’s wedding and flips out on me again later that night. This time, she leaves, and no one knows where she went.

I have to find her.

I love her.

I’ll do anything it takes to earn her trust, to be the safe place she needs.

I’ll do anything it takes to earn her love.

This is a very, emotional and could be difficult for some to read story. When two people who are pretty much the same and just get each other have an explosive one night stand. Both confused by it, one tries to understand it and the other runs from it. Then they meet face to face again when attending their best friend's wedding. Let's just say their relationship really opens up Pandora's box.

They did it again. Pulling you in with charm, some laughs, and real world, so often not discussed painfulness that sooo many people that it could've been them stories. I could've been a Lindsey, but luckily my brothers weren't okay with someone sneaking into their little sister's room during a house party while our parents were out of town. I also chose not to keep quiet. While I don't know exactly what happened to that man, he was in his early 20s. I was only 11 years old, developed early just like Lindsey does. I just know that I never saw him again. I love that Dane is able to love her the way she needs and she can give it back as good as he needs. I adore that Lindsey was able to take back her happiness.

I thought all of the original Badd’s were hot and spicy but I think this younger gen is giving them a run for their money!

You can tell from the beginning Dane and Lindsey have chemistry. But when she has her panic attack and leaves I think k he was so sweet to give her the space she needed to find herself.

I loved all of the song references and especially the “Botched” reference. I love that show!

Like always I can’t wait until the next Badd book comes out!

It's good to be Badd

I've read close to all of the Badd brothers series and Badd Love was truly a story that broke my heart and also gave me tons of warmth. I really wish all men were as sensitive as the Badd men. A little too much graphic sex scenes. I do not need 2 chapters to discuss sex, although I'm sure many readers do. Overall great book.

As a fan of this series, I was eagerly awaiting this release, and it did not disappoint!
I will say, if you are a sensitive reader, do your research.

Dane Badd has grown up in the shadow of his focused and determined siblings, and is working on finding his purpose. Hooking up with his brother's wife's best friend should have been just that - a hookup, but he found himself interested and invested in Lindsey instead. Poor guy, he has no idea why she's ghosted him.

Lindsey is doing her best to function and survive in LA. It's not easy with everything running around in her head. With Raquel and Rune moving forward in their lives and marriages, she finds it tougher than ever to stay positive, as the panic attacks from her childhood trauma are plaguing her at ever turn.
Lindsey and Dane have undeniable chemistry, and their steamy connection was enjoyable, but the emotional journey these two travel on to get to their HEA is deeply heartbreaking and heartwarming, and the best part of this read.

I really enjoyed being back in this world, and enjoying all the banter and connections between all the characters that have lived rent free in my heart for years. The entire Badd series is best enjoyed in order, so that all the layers in this storyline resonate. Dru and Bast are just so caring and understanding parents, as are all his cousins and family - and I loved that for Dane.

I'm feeling a series re-read binge coming on, as I am not ready to leave Ketchikan yet!

Let The Badd Times Roll…

If you’re new to this author/ series and you’re doing that whole check out the reviews for the first book and the most recent then rest easy I’ve got you. There honestly is something for everyone in this series, some have well deserved trigger warnings, and equally there’s bound to be some that you’ll find as easy reading.

The characters are so well developed that picking up a new book in the series is like coming home, it just resonates. You’ll laugh and probably cry too, I did. It’s easy to see these characters as your family and friends. I’ve always considered it to be the mark of a great author when they’re able to make readers empathise with the characters to the extent that it causes an emotional reaction.

SPOILERS FOR BOOK 21.
This book follows on from the previous book where Rune Rigby and Duncan Badd got wrapped up in each other, eventually.

Lindsey Snelling is back in Ketchikan Alaska for her bff Rune’s wedding. There’s just that awkward issue of interacting with the groom’s brother, Dane Badd. She’s always had problems with intimacy, it goes with the territory of coping with childhood sexual abuse. Her go to response has always been “hit it and quit it”, dump them before they get a chance to hurt you.

Dane Badd is a confirmed bachelor, he’s currently attending college trying to work out what he wants to do with the rest of his life, so y’know no pressure. He’s currently the last man standing, his siblings have all left home. Despite being a content bachelor his thoughts keep coming back to Lindsey, one minute they were having the best sex of his life (very literally the best) and the next she was screaming at him to GTFO. He didn’t think it something he did but he can’t be sure, he certainly wouldn’t say no to a repeat of all the good things they did. It doesn’t take Dane long to realise that there are big feelings involved and he’s ready to do whatever it takes to be there for her.

Read the series, it’s worth it. All of the stars.

Dane and Lindsey's story broke my heart and put it back together. Love Lindsey's backbone and I one hundred percent supported her at a certain part in the story. Dane is so patient and understanding, gosh I love him. Seeing him with his dad and brother was beautiful. Love love the Badd family and this story highlights why.

This book is a emotional journey. Lindsey Snelling has had a traumatic history. She had a one night stand with Dane Badd. Which, by the way, ended with a bang. Let me clarify my last statement. That would be the bang of the bathroom door as she bellowed (perhaps more of a blood curdling scream) to get out!!! Even with all that craziness, Dane couldn't get her out of his head. He tried contacting her, but she blocked him. Now Dane is a bonified bachelor. So when he attends his brother, Damian's wedding, he can't believe he's going through with it. Now, he absolutely loves his new sister to be. She's great for Damian. But, nah, he's not having it. Then he spots Lindsey. She is absolutely gorgeous. His body is reacting to her in a way he doesn't want it to. Especially at his brother's wedding. Maybe he'll talk to her and see what he did wrong. Or after the glare she just gave him from across the room, that's probably not an option either. What the hell? He was a gentleman. Right?
This series has everything you could ever want. Humor, bantering, crazy, but love filled family dynamics, steam, romance, drama and trauma. I've read this series a couple times and each time it gets better. I'm not sure that's possible seeing that the first time, I recognized it at a rating of 10+ stars. Even though Amazon and other sites only allow 5. If you're new to Jasinda, please start at the beginning of the series. You'll be lost if you don't. Plus, it's a sweeter reading experience. If you are into truly emotional stories, read her two book series, The Cabin. If you can keep a dry eye reading that..... you're a robot. Sorry, someone had to tell it to you straight. Okay, enough rambling. Grab it, snuggle up in your favorite reading nook. Grab a glass a wine (Maybe do a half carafe. You won't want to stop reading to get a refill). Okay, so happy reading. Once you start reading her books, you'll be googling or as I do...Kindle-ing for more.

The Badd family does it again - makes you wish you were one of them.
Lindsey’s best friend is pregnant and getting married to Duncan Badd. She has a fling with Duncan’s super hot brother Dane but then has a panic attack because she was raped and molested for four years by her brothers friend and she has flashbacks all the time.
Dane, the nicest man on the planet, tries to help her through it but he can’t because she needs to fix herself.
She’s at work one night when the perpetrator himself shows up and she goes insane beating the shit out of him. He ends up in the hospital. She goes to the hospital and pretends to be his girlfriend so she can have the last word and while shes there the cops and the feds show up to throw him in the slammer for being a rapist.
Lindsey decides LA is ruined so she packs her stuff and goes on a two month roadtrip to find herself, camp and move to Alaska before he friend has her baby.
When she gets there she runs into one of Danes many uncles who have all heard about her and he brings her to the college choir show where Dan is singing a solo. But no one knows that and Dane is shocked that his entire family showed up plus Lindsey. They end up having a long chat and Danes mother chimes in that Lindsey has family now and if Dane loves her then they all love her because the badds are the most welcoming and understanding family that ever existed.
They work out their shit and HEA.

Don’t waste your time I think the author should have stopped this series after the original 8, as they have gotten progressively worse this one needs editing badly! At the beginning the MCs are in bed and she’s blowing him he’s just about to cum and she freaks out and runs into the bathroom and throws him out. Then they meet again at his bothers wedding to her bf and she spends sneaks into his room and sleeps with him. She wakes up first and flees jumps on a plane home spends the whole flight thinking about him and the way she recalls it she had just barely started blowing him then freaked out! Then at one point she refers to him as “Dan” like I said needs editing, I started reading this 2 weeks ago and put it down I think on chapter 2? Just picked it up again and really realized I just hate this if I hadn’t spent so much on it I would definitely DNF.

Badd Love is book 22 in The Badd Brothers series by Jasinda Wilder. This book is Dane and Lindsey’s story and what an emotional journey. Lindsey has had a traumatic history. She had a one-night stand with Dane which ending in her having a meltdown. Dane couldn’t understand what he had done wrong. He tried contacting her but she blocked him. There’s still that attraction and he wants to find out what he did wrong so with that the journey begins. This book is full of humor, steam, romance and drama. I love this crazy family. I go into these and expect a bit of fun as the couple gets together, but this one dealt with some tough subjects. I hated what we learned about Lindsay, but loved how things worked out for her. From coming to terms with things (and the event that started it) to how Dane was silently with her, even if neither of them realized it. But the best was the talk that Lindsay got from Dane's mom, what a balm that was to her for so many reasons. I loved that by dealing with her past Lindsay got everything in her present and the future, along with the Badd clan, something that is just as welcome as Dane's love.

A much heavier topic for a series that is pretty light. It was handled well with realistic feelings & scenes throughout. However there were some repetitive inner monologues that could have been left out.

My biggest questions are for the series itself - why write the Goode Girls sub series but never include them? Why write a ton of these books yet hardly bring former main characters back in except for a small handful of the same few each time?

Sadly this installment must’ve been rushed to print too, I noticed 3 MAJOR continuity/plot errors, plus a fair bit of typos as well.

Welcome back to Ketchikan, Alaska. I love this series!
In this latest book we find ourselves with Dane Badd. Dane has become a fan of his sister-in-law's bestie, Lindsey, who keeps running from him.
Lindsey has a past that makes a present and future seem untouchable. After a night with Dane, she's scared but wants what she thinks she'll never be able to have.
This book brought all kinds of feelings, and could possibly trigger someone with the content.

Enjoyed but

This has been my least favorite of all the Badd/Goode books. The end felt rushed and had glaring continuity errors. For example, Linz met Dru when she walked into the house after the concert. It's a whole scene, so why does the author write that they didn't have a chance to meet yet? None of which makes sense anyway because they should have met, however briefly, at some point during Rune and Dane's wedding. Needs a better editor/proofreader.

At first I was annoyed, Lindsey appeared to be a pain in the ass. But along the story I started understanding her. It's heart breaking what she went through, to think that such happens in real life is worse. But Dane and his family are amazing, what the world needs.

It's emotional, exhaustingly painful and tearful. We are most of the times judgemental without being in people's shoes, I hope we change to better beings and start showing sympathy.

This is another Badd family book, part of the second generation. It is the story of Dane Badd and Lindsay Snelling. Star crossed lovers who deal with the effects of Lindsay’s childhood sexual abuse, not the best of the series.
