The Gray Ones’ power has pierced the very heart of the realm, and Evgard and the Dragon Isles alike now stand on the brink of ruin. And how can the Knights of the Torch hope to stop them when the Gray threatens to tear them apart from within?

“For longer than either Asher or Meleya knew, the Farseer had been seeing them in his omenfires. By their hands, the realm would rise or fall.”

This series consistently gets better with each installment and the quality of the audiobooks voice acting has legitimately ruined my standards for other audio books…

If you’re looking for near Stormlight Archive world building, told in half of the time, yet not feeling rushed, oh baby this is the series for you.

I especially appreciate the heart and soul that goes into the Guide to Evgard and the extra illustrations that go into the lore. The authors clearly want to give a Special Edition experience for a Paperback pricetag, and it serves the consumer and the story, SO. SCORCHING. WELL.

Dare I say… the best book in the entire series so far?? Absolutely.

This installment has everything I want in a book: action-packed moments, humor that had me laughing out loud, feet-kicking romance, and epic one-liners. And the best part? It’s clean. Truly the perfect combination of excitement and wholesomeness.

I love the life lessons in this book. If I had teenage kids, I’d hand them this series in a heartbeat. It’s insightful, thoughtful, and full of meaningful takeaways. But it’s not just for teens, this series is perfect for all ages.

And let me tell you, romance wise I thought the dust was settling and things might be set in stone JUST FOR a TORNADO to blow the dust into new frenzy of tension and questions. I cannot wait to see how this unravels.

This series has officially healed my 13 year old self and my 24 year old self is thriving right along with her.

If you can’t already tell I’m absolutely obsessed with this series and I can’t recommend it enough.

So much happened in this book and its true this series just gets better and better. I love the characters so much and the humor/light hearted quips have me smiling and laughing. I am so sad that I am now caught up with this series, I want the next one now, because the stakes do seem to just keep getting higher and higher. I love the things that were revealed in this book, and the way that light shines through all the dark. Melaya and Asher have experienced so much in this book and I know there is still their greatest challenges yet to come. I really love them both so much and think that they are characters that will stay in my heart for a long time.

I HAVE JUST BEEN DESTROYED. This book had everything I was hoping for! And . . . and . . . and . . . and . . . and . . . and . . . Oooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

My emotions were everywhere at once! The greatest emotion I felt, however, can only be described as agonized joy! I screamed at this book so much my voice literally went hoarse for a while! I actually struggled to breathe during the climax! (Speaking of the climax, I had to pause in the middle for family dinner but almost everything I saw made me think of the book. I almost broke when I remembered that the cutlery was made of silver!) I can't stop singing the song! That ending had me staring blankly at the wall like I'M the one who-[REDACTED].

I have never, ever been so invested in the romance of a book!! I love absolutely freaking all of it! I cannot stop listening to the song “Rewrite the Stars,” and I will never listen to it the same way again!

I genuinely think that this is the best YA fantasy series of all time and EVERYONE who likes that kind of book should read it! My obsession has grown to never before reached levels, and I don't think I'm ever going to recover!

I have so much more to say, and I'll try to be vague, but BEWARE OF SPOILERS from here.

The first part of this book could be described as "Asher and Melaya go to Etheria." The last part could be described as "Asher goes through the void." Oh. My. Stars, I think I may never recover. He BETTER recover though! EVERYONE NEEDS TO RECOVER!! BLAKE!! RAVEN!! FIX IT! Sorry, sorry I got carried away. *winks threateningly.* And BRIGAN!! Everyone in the house heard me screaming at that one chapter ending. It was a possibility that I thought of a few times but I never thought it would actually happen! And Kai and Solvai! TOGETHER!! I love them so much! I mean, they weren't really that big a part of the book, but did I mention I shipped them before they ever met? I totally shipped them before they ever met! Kai's story is especially exciting to me. Zoren climbed into the ranks of my favorite characters just by the way he thinks about his dragon. I want a dragon. And the tearjerker in the end! I've never truly cried while reading a book, unfortunately, but my eyes got remarkably wet. The events in the Dragon Isles were so good! THE DUEL WAS LEGENDARY! And I loved everything in Etheria!

I am so so so excited for the next book! The wait is going to be agony!!!

AUGHH HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME (AGAIN)?!?!

(That's how you KNOW it was a GREAT book). I was able to get my hands on an ARC, and I'll say- son and daughter of a dragonmutt, you've done it again...

Once again, we follow Asher and Meleya's ups and downs, with some awesome new worldbuilding and twists I would have NEVER seen coming. Now I have to wait another few months for the final book! *grumble, but that's also a good sign*

Dragon Knight continues the Skystone Chronicles with everything we're familiar with, but turned up to 10. The characters that we've all grown to love were pushed in unexpected ways, and the infamous love triangles kept everyone on their toes.

Etheria is beautiful, and gave me feelings reminiscent of Shadesmar. The authors leave the perfect amount of description vs character action, which is a balance that is refreshing to see. The writing quality is also increasing as these books come out and the authors get more settled in with their talents. I'll probably revisit this one again when the audiobook drops since their audiobooks are so well done that it makes other audiobooks dull in comparison.

Overall, a great continuation of the series that will linger in my head in the coming weeks.

Wow. Just wow!! This book was incredible. It literally blew my mind! This whole series is like, next level awesome!

In Dragon Knight we get a whole book full of awesome brand new adventures... But all the epic battles, cool etherarchy magic, swoon-worthy moments, fantastic humor, favorite characters, mind-blowing twists, and obviously, dragons, that I've come to expect in a Skystone Chronicles book!! It's the actual best! The emotional roller coaster that is this book was pretty crazy! I'm still not over it!

Also, I really appreciate that I never have to worry about the content (totally clean/wholesome) that Blake and Raven write- I don't have to worry about my 11 year old daughter reading any of their books, which is good, cause they are her favorite!

In this installment of my favorite dragon series, Asher and Meleya spend time in Etheria, and I just have to say- the whole premise and execution of Etheria was honestly amazing to me, I truly loved it! Oh, and Ethereal Auras? Incredible!! They are a seriously cool element of this book. I also love how the Knight's of the Torch code of choosing light is not only such a huge theme throughout this series, but an inspiring one too! I will never get over my favorite characters choosing light! Asher's time in the Dragon Isles was also very satisfying! That ending though... Left me literally dying for more! I NEED the next book!!

I absolutely loved this book! It had the perfect amount of suspense, fantasy, romance, and of course, dragons. It was all superbly woven into one epic tale, leaving me always wanting more. The only thing that left me slightly shocked was when the main character lost something very dear to him. Other than that it was fantastic, leaving us on an epic cliffhanger. I definitely can't wait until the next book!

Another fantastic installment in an already outstanding series. The characters continue to deepen and grow in such compelling ways, and every chapter reminds me why I fell in love with this world in the first place. I highly recommend Dragon Knight—and the entire Skystone Chronicles—to anyone who enjoys richly crafted fantasy. It carries forward all the charm, heart, and excellent writing of the first three books, and I am excited to see where the series will go.

No doubt one of the best books of the year!!!

As the characters grow with each book, so does Blake and Raven's writing genius. Just when you think it cannot get any better - it does. Dynamics, parallel storylines, multiple layers within each character and much more.

I think the book, and the whole series, have something for everyone. Just pick up the books and "choose light"!

I love the Skystone Choronicles, down to their incredible plot twists, character and world design, and powerful storytelling that is so strong you can hear character's heartbeats, cries, and 'whoops' right through the pages. Dragon Knight is one of the most exciting yet, with an amazing storyline that's had me on the edge of my seat since the first page.

I would highly recommend this series to anyone, it's just awesome.

Oh how I love these characters. This one is such a roller coaster. And some things better be fixed in the last book. This series is so good. Loved the twists and some of them battles were epic but man this book was brutal. I need book 5!

Once again, I have been blown away by another book in the Skystone Chronicles. Everything continues to be stellar, from the characters, the worldbuilding, the humor; it's all just awesome. I'll go over some of the things I liked most in this new entry.

In this book, we're given a full blown tour of Etheria, which is kind of like the spirit world from Avatar: the Last Airbender. The descriptions for this spiritual realm were beautiful, and I particularly loved how people's auras interact with each other. I also appreciated how it provided an explanation for how people's ether wells refill on their own; I actually didn't really think much about this before, but the explanation definitely makes sense.

Another thing I liked was the Drekai and their culture were shown more. Their floating buildings and palaces were really cool! There was also a crazy plot twist involving one of the characters with the Drekai, so that was great too!

Speaking of plot twists, the climax of this book is brutal. There's like, several things that all seem to happen at once and it's heart wrenching. The best though was how Meleya temporarily took down the main villain; let's just say, that was one of the best examples I've seen of the Chekhov's Gun plot device (hopefully that's not a spoiler).

Aside from the gut punch that is the climax, this book fortunately wasn't as emotionally devastating as the last one. It was super satisfying to see Meleya fight back against her Gray One after the last book, and I can't wait to see how the final battle will go with the Gray Ones.

As I've said a million times before and will continue to say a million times once more, the Skystone Chronicles is phenomenal. I absolutely cannot wait for the final book and see what's going to happen with everybody. For Evgard, unite!

This is such an amazing series! It’s everything it’s advertised to be and more!! The characters are all diverse and you learn so much about each of them. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll rage right along with the characters. It’s very immersive.

This series is definitely up there at the top of the list. I can’t recommend it enough!

Disclaimer: I was given an ARC for this title.

This book was a wonderful continuation of Dragon Hunter. The developing relationship between Asher and Meleya is entertaining and natural. Their adventures in Etheria gave both of them an opportunity to explore who they are without the pressures they experienced in the mortal realm.
Meanwhile the rest of our crew is trying to figure out how to retrieve Asher and Meleya from Etheria. There seemed to be more of a focus on some of the more elder side characters this time around such as Solrac and Vidya and their repairing relationship.
Lots of twists and turns and definitely the humour that you come to expect from Blake and Raven. The progression of all the characters is natural and feels right for the story.
I appreciate how clean this series is and as a soon to be father, I'm excited to share it with my children when they're older.
Can't wait for the next one! Outstanding job Blake and Raven!

Loved it! This one was by far my favorite with all the twists and turns throughout the story. The cliff hanger at the end is crazy and I need more! I also really enjoyed learning about the Light. I believe that this book takes on a Christian standpoint and uses darkness verses light to convey that. It’s cool to see the characters choose light over the darkness of their circumstances. Overall, great book and I can’t wait to finish up this story!

I absolutely loved this book, and highly recommend the whole series. The characters are awesome and the story moves along very nicely. I usually listen to their books, but read this one, however I look forward to listening to the audiobook once it comes out. I also recommend the audiobooks as they do a wonderful job of voicing and bringing personality to the characters, singing the songs in different parts, and keeping the story engaging throughout. Once again I highly recommend this book and the series as a whole.

This book is incredible! I've been burning through the series these past few months to get ready for the release date. This is book 4 and each book has built on the foundation of those that came before. Each new installation teaches us more about the world and the overarching conflict. We learn along with the characters.

I love that the romance can be messy and complicated without being graphic. I love that the fight scenes are unique.

I can't wait for the 5th book to come out next year!

It’s a amazing book with compelling characters.

One thing that i couldn’t stand was the constant changing of POV’s. You would have an incredible climax for one character and then wouldnt see them for two or three chapters even. I found myself almost skipping parts so that I can continue with one character. It got to the point that I feel disconnected from the book because I can’t fully experience a character without interruption.

A stunning addition to the series!
