Kissing Ridge Cowboys #4

Bronc Riders Don't Fall in Love

Rate this book
Diamond

‘Famous for having his heart broken by emotionally unavailable men’ should be engraved on my headstone.
I wish I could say I learn from each one, but the reality is… I don’t. If you give me a tall, dark, and handsome cowboy with sad eyes and a kind heart, I will never say no. It’s always been yes, and I deal with the emotional fallout after.

Then I meet Rhett.

Rhett and I didn’t exactly have a smooth start, and for the first time… I said no.

It didn’t last long, because I’m weak and he’s literally the perfect man for me. I know I’ve said that before, but he’s different. Sure, he drinks his coffee black, and that goes against every fibre in my being, but I can overlook the major flaw that it is.
Rhett isn’t like the others. He’s serendipity on horseback, and I can’t ignore it. Now I just need to convince him it’s okay to allow himself to fall.

After all, I already have, and I’ll wait forever to be there to catch him when he does.

Rhett
Love isn’t something that’s been kind to me, so it’s best to just give up on finding my soulmate. Rodeo has been my spouse for years, and it’s easier that way.

Until I meet the flirty barista/business owner named Diamond.

Our first meeting went as well as a no score in the final go-round. Thankfully his sunshiny demeanour eased the sting of a terrible start. He makes me notice how much space rodeo doesn’t fill. He gives far more than he takes, and I can’t help but wish I’d met him sooner.

Diamond is unexpected, and I can’t seem to figure out what to do. I know he wants more, and maybe I do too, but we’re so different it couldn’t possibly last.

I’m not a man who’s easy to love. It’s best to let Diamond go and save us both the inevitable heartache.
But if that’s truly the best thing to do, why is it so hard to let go?

CW: mention of cancer and treatment by one MC, parental abandonment and verbal abuse mentioned off page, death of a grandparent off page

Bronc Riders Don’t Fall In Love is the fourth and final book in the Kissing Ridge Cowboy Series. A friends with benefits, opposites attract, hurt comfort story with the flirty barista, Diamond, and the tender-hearted bronc rider. Shopping for barns as a date, kissing scars, and a supportive dad obsessed with tomatoes. Cooking that leads to confessions and the most swoony accidental proposal.

Bronc Riders Don’t Fall in Love by R.M. Neill is book 4 in the new Kissing Ridge Cowboys series. This is another series that I have really enjoyed and I was drawn into Diamond and Rhett’s story from the very beginning. I absolutely adore Diamond. His life has not been easy and he just wants someone to love him and let him love them. Diamond loves to show his love by being there for the person. Rhett is scared of that. He also has been hurt in the past and Diamond seemed too good to be true. Rhett frustrated me so many times in his determination to push Diamond away and remind him that he is not able to make a commitment. Once he got his head out of a certain place, these two were amazing. I will admit that the way Rhett treated Diamond on his grandfather’s birthday was NOT okay and hopefully Diamond will not let that happen again. It was so jarring after the sweetness of them admitting their love and moving in together. It took me out of the story a little bit and reminded me of the first time Rhett was in Diamond’s shop. All in all though, this was a great story and I look forward to the next one. I REALLY need one about Will, Diamond’s dad. What a sweetheart that guy is.

I received an ARC from the author and Neon Rainbow ARC Reviews for my honest review.

This is an opposites attract cowboy romance, featuring Diamond and Rhett, and is book four in the Kissing Ridge Cowboys series.

Diamond is a hopeless romantic who keeps falling for emotionally unavailable cowboys, but when he meets Rhett, their rocky first meeting quickly turns into undeniable chemistry.

I’ve loved this series and Diamond and Rhett were the perfect addition. This sweet and emotional cowboy romance with a perfect duo. Diamond’s open heart and Rhett’s guarded nature create plenty of tension, making their journey to love both tender and satisfying.

I’m now trying to manifest a book for Diamond’s dad.

Things to expect in this book are:
Book 4 in series
MM romance
Small town
Opposites attract
Rodeo rider x barista
Pet dad: dog
Disastrous meet-cute
Pinterest vision board
Flirting
Bakes/cooks for him
MC in lingerie
Friends with benefits
Spicy times & dirty talk
Socks kink
Public play
Admit feelings
Found family

From the beginning I longed for Diamond's book, my favorite character in this series.
It doesn't disappoint because the book is really my favorite, Diamond is fantastic until the end of the book and Rhett... so great together. I laughed, I cried. This is the perfect book.
All the MCs from the previous books are here, especially Hunter, that I love.
Can’t wait for the next book.

~* ARC Review time!*~

--Bronc Rider X Coffee shop owner-- Daisy duke coffee shop flirt-- Closed off cowboy-- cutest sidekick doggo... Tater!-- hurt X comfort-- A bite of enemies to friends to lovers-- Cancer survivor-- Small town cowboys-- ALL the small town gossip oh my!--

I am SO excited to be back in Kissing Ridge! While the main friend group has finally all paired off... I thought we were done.
NOPE!
We get flung back in with a pro bronc rider being recruited by Hunter and gang to help run their Rodeo School. What Rhett did not expect was a daisy duke wearing flirty AF barista he can't stop thinking about.
And he is 100% unaware that Diamond, said Daisy duke wearing flirt, is already obsessed with him. He has a taste for cute cowboys alight lol.

These men collide head on and sets the main friend group on edge. Even though we've only seen glimpses of Diamond at the Thirsty Cow, he is 100% part of the friend group. So the group is pretty protective of him.

As the story progresses, their attraction is undeniable and scorching. But both men has pasts that make it hard for them to function together for a long while. Through the power of communication and so much patience, these men learn how best to love one another and how to adapt to life no only together but functioning in the town and friend group.

I should add close proximity to the trope list at this point, because Diamond is down and determined to win his man with his unconditional need to spoil people he loves with sweet treats, compliments and love. Rhett caves eventually, after some struggle.

Honestly, he isn't getting away lol.

I loved this couple so much. Diamond's struggle with cancer is very near and dear to my heart personally. Even though he struggled with the path his life took, he was still a sparkly star throughout the story. He does tend to over give and that part makes me sad. But I understand his need to reach out to everyone and let them know they are loved.

While Rhett's closed off nature makes sense too, he just needed to learn to trust those around him.

This book was a huge read in life lessons, learning to trust and loves those around you and learning to build a life together with someone even though you are technically polar opposites. I really really enjoyed this story and I'm so excited to see the next couple up.
This is a cozy small town romance read and you wont get bogged down with heaviness that brings the read down.

I have read all of the books in this series, and I think this one is my favorite. I adore Diamond, I could picture him so clearly and hear his flirty voice in my head. I loved his wish sent into the universe for a real cowboy of his own to love and be loved back, his “Ouija board: Pinterest cowboy-themed wedding board”, and the Instagram man of his dreams, Rhett Cuglietta, bronc rider extraordinaire. He was sunshine and positivity in his tight booty shorts, T-shirt and boots, giving smiles to everyone who entered his coffee shop and starting their day with a flirt and a dose of sunshine.. When his wish to the universe was answered and Rhett came to town to live and work, he thought his dream had come true. Unfortunately, Rhett had had a hard time in the romance department and was pretty closed off, even though he was drawn to the flirty spitfire. He hadn’t been very lucky with people caring for him and was badly burned in the love department, resisting Diamond as long as he could. But Diamond didn’t give up and was eventually able to wear him down, finally getting his cowboy after all. It was the journey that was so engaging as these two found their way to a lasting relationship together.

Many of the supporting characters are the MCs from previous books, so it is like visiting old friends, and there are always interesting new people passing through. Tater was an endearing part of Rhett’s family, enthusiastically adoring her two humans and keeping them entertained with her antics. I loved Diamond’s creative words in Scrabble, and “serendickity” is my new favorite one😁. The rodeo found family was so supportive of all the characters, main or secondary, you could feel the warmth and caring for each other, a group to always have your back. The overall feeling of the book was warmth, caring, support, and people and a place to call family and home. I’m sorry this series is ending, but hope we may see some of these characters appear again in future books.

I received an ARC from the author and this is my voluntary review.

I do love me a cowboy ;) and had been hoping Diamond would get his story, and this book absolutely delivered for me. He’s been such a memorable presence throughout the series, flirty, big-hearted, and always a little too willing to give everything to the wrong person. Seeing him finally take centre stage felt really satisfying, especially because the book lets you see both his humour and the vulnerability underneath it.

Rhett makes a great counterpart to him. He’s quieter and more guarded, shaped by a life that hasn’t exactly encouraged him to believe in lasting love. His dedication to rodeo has filled most of that space, so watching Diamond slowly chip away at those walls was really enjoyable. Their personalities contrast in a way that works well: Diamond is warm and expressive, while Rhett tends to hold things close, which makes the emotional moments between them land even harder.

I also loved how the story balances lighter, playful moments with some genuinely heartfelt ones. There were scenes that made me laugh, and others that were surprisingly emotional. Their relationship grows through small things such as shared meals, honest conversations, and the kind of everyday moments that make the romance feel believable.

It was also lovely seeing familiar faces from earlier books pop up again, which gave the story a real sense of coming full circle for the series. The friendships and found-family element around the main couple add warmth to the whole book, and it feels like a fitting send-off to the world the author has built. Exceptional series that i highly recommend

MY OPINION: I love this series. It is likely that I am just a sucker for cowboy stories, but if that is the case, then this is perfect to fill that niche within me. Each one is a unique story with the previous couples interacting, but not the main focus.

This couple is a favorite. Rhett is a bronc rider who is working at the rodeo school that’s been established in Kissing Ridge—the main town all these books are written around. Diamond runs the coffee shop; he’s still country with a whole lot of sparkle and sass. When Rhett sees him for the very first time, there is something there.

Both of these men are broken but not beyond repair. Deciding to keep things casual is easy in theory, but hearts have a way of doing what they want. As both of them risk the one thing they swore they wouldn’t. Throughout the book, you follow them as they fall for each other. Accepting that the things they believe weren’t always true. People can be good, partners can be supportive and kind, and love doesn’t have to hurt.

This is such a lovely story. Quite a bit of internal angst, but nothing much on the outside. There are plenty of feelings, though. I love Diamond as a character, and every time he was on page, he was a joy. The series as a whole is wonderful, and I recommend it. There are some great spice scenes, but they are only moderately explicit and short, fitting with the story as a whole.

I recommend this book for sure, and think most people who like a story of rodeo men would like this one.

"Bronc Riders Don't Fall in Love" is the last book in the Kissing Ridge Cowboy series. I'll miss the cowboys, the covers and titles, but I have to say, RM Neill is ending on a bright note. A sparkly, sunshiny coffee shop owner meets Tall, Dark and Cowboy. This is a lazy moving, friends w/benefits, hurt-comfort story with a side of birth/found family. Some angst, but also lots to smile and laugh about.
Diamond Ward, coffee shop owner, was easy to love. His type is cowboy and his luck is nil. All he wants in life is to find someone to take care of. And he isn't above using Pinterest ouija to get it. Rhett Cuglietta, champion bronc rider, was just a bit harder to even like.
He does fit the Tall, Dark and Cowboy requirement. But he's a savage, black coffee is (in Diamond's opinion) a crime against humanity. Then again, Diamond just might be a tad overcaffeinated. Rhett has walls and walls, and possibly, a moat around his heart. Just as Diamond breeches them, fear kicks in, and Rhett's rather awful to his man. Thank goodness for a small town and some cheerfully busy busybodies (Diamond's dad, all the MCs from books 1-3) who intervene/interfere at the right times.
They're a good fit once Rhett gets his stuff together. There's some spice here, a little chasing and evading. And of course, a well deserved HEA. For these two MCs. And the reader too.
Now we should get RM Neill to add a Kissing Ridge Cowboy novella. And give sweet William his own HEA.
I received an advance copy of this ebook and this is my review.

Goodness gracious, she did it again! R.M. Neill is an amazing writer and her cowboys bring me to tears every time.

Diamond has been a staple character since book one of this series. He’s the lovable barista/owner at The Thirsty Cow. He makes every customer feel special and he makes wonderful desserts. But even Diamond has a side he doesn’t show everyone. He’s been hurt before and hides that pain by showing others the affection he holds so dear.

Rhett Cuglietta is a man straight out of Diamond’s fantasies. When he starts work at Hunter’s school, they get off to a bumpy start. Rhett locks himself down, he doesn’t ask for anything and doesn’t know how to receive affection in return. For him, hope doesn’t exist and neither do positive relationships.

I think that RM Neil wrote a beautiful book. I’ve watched Diamond in each book and I’ve watched that affection that he gives so freely and I wanted him to find his happy ending. That he manifests it so clearly in Rhett’s arrival in town is serendipity. See what I did there? Hehe, I like their scrabble rules! RM takes these subjects that are so hard for people to deal with and she writes a story around them. The loss and grief aren’t on the page, but the emotions are brought out in the story. For me, it is a reminder that there is still good to come. You can walk through the darkness and still find the sunshine. I really love that this book focuses not on the angst that each man is feeling, but on the happily ever after of finding love where you didn’t know you could expect it.

Thank you, RM for my copy of Bronc Riders Don't Fall in Love. The 4th & Final book in the Kissing Ridge Cowboys series. Though BRDFIL can be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading the Kissing Ridge Cowboy series in order. Diamond the fabulous flirty barista, baker & Owner of the Thirsty Cow get his own story in Bronc Riders Don't Fall in Love when champion Bronc Rider, Rhett moves to Kissing Ridge. I loved getting to know Diamond more but gosh did my heart hurt when we learnt about his past. Rhett maybe successful in his field but life hasn't been kind to him in a multitude of ways. When Diamond & Rhett agree on a FWB (Friends with Benefits) situation its clear to readers that love is already in the air, we just have to wait for them to work it out!

⚠️ Content Warnings ⚠️ I advise readers to check out the content warnings.

Bronc Riders Don’t Fall In Love is full of heart, heat, healing and concludes with a HEA.

Finally, Diamond's story

You know the side character that leaps out at you every time they appear on page? Diamond is the one in this series that captured my attention and, probably, everyone else's too. We knew little of him, apart from him being the owner of all the coffee shop that all the couples in this series love. He's a friend to them, and has been a warm and witty presence whenever he appears.
Finding out his back story, and Rhett's as well, made me so happy they found each other. Both had high walls so that no one could hurt them again, and that was so sad because they were good men who deserved to be happy and cherished for who they were.
It took a little while to warm completely to Rhett, who didn't make the best first impression, but I understood why he was holding himself back. He's obviously a good person because his dog and his horse love him almost as much as he loves them, bless him.
Seeing Hunter and Gabe and the others from the earlier books was a nice bonus, but Diamond's dad, Will, was just the best. His relationship with his son was beautiful.
Now I know what the next series will be, I can't wait. A spin-off with Hunter and Gabe's grown-up sons? All the yesses.
Once you've finished the book, you definitely need to get the bonus scene. I can pretty much guarantee you'll never have seen a wedding like it!

This is the fourth book in the Kissing Ridge Cowboys series and it can be enjoyed as a standalone read. This is the story of Rhett Cuglietta and Diamond Ward. Rhett is a Nation Rodeo Champion Bronc Rider who is coming back home. He is going to teach at the new rodeo training facility in Kissing Ridge. He and his dog Tater are trying to find a new home in town. Diamond is a business owner and barista. He has a weakness for tall, dark, and handsome cowboys with sad eyes and a kind heart. And Rhett just happens to match that description. Too bad their first interaction doesn't go well. But after apologies are made, the path is a little easier. Rhett is naturally closed off and Diamond is sunshine and positivity. This is their story. I received a complementary advanced review copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review. The book is well written and easy to read. I enjoyed watching Diamond and Rhett slowly build a relationship together. I was also glad that Diamond got the happiness that he deserved. I will admit to being unsure if Rhett was the right one in the beginning but as the book went on, I changed my mind. There is warmth that permeates throughout the book. It was great to see familiar faces from earlier books. I also enjoyed the new found family as well. I am sad to see this series come to an end.

To get your man of your dreams, create a Ouija Pinterest, well it worked for Diamond
From the moment Diamond was introduced in this series, I wanted to know more about him. He was quick with a smile, would do anything for his friends and would make someone's day with a few kind words. When Rhett, a renowned Bronc rider is hired at Hunter's rodeo school, Diamond's dream man, but was he a dream or a nightmare in real life.
Learning more about Diamond and you quickly realised he is not just a barista with a flirty smile, reading what he went through made me like him even more and I loved how he seized the moment as, as they say "life is to short". Rhett was the complete opposite, with walls so thick you needed a wrecking ball to break them down. Diamond's patience with Rhett, letting him set the pace and of cause who couldn't resist Diamond, and Rhett realising he was in the wrong and not being afraid to apologise.
Catching up with previous characters, seeing how close they all were and Rhett getting the found family and finally Will, Diamond's dad who was so adorable and I am sure he has a story to tell.
I loved every moment of this story and whilst it is the end of the series ,is it the end of our time in Kissing Ridge

I have read every book in this series, and each has been better than the previous one. But I've been hoping we would get Diamond's story and I was not disappointed.

Diamond and Rhett are a pretty perfect opposites attract, grumpy/sunshine pairing, and I'm a sucker for that. Especially when grumpy is also guarded from past hurts and sunshine is the only one who can get past his walls. Diamond is open and warm and Rhett is basically helpless to resist his charm. Meanwhile, Rhett was conjured into existence by Diamond's magical pinterest board and Diamond doesn't stand a chance against Rhett's vulnerability. The need to take care of him is too big to ignore. Together, they just work.

Rhett realizing that it's okay to open his heart again, and Diamond showing him that he would protect it, was really beautiful to read. There are so many hurt/comfort moments but they balance so well with the tender romance that's building between them. This is - to me - low-spice, but that's okay. Some stories don't need a lot of physicality to give you the HEA the characters deserve.

I'm sorry to see this series end, but I am looking forward to the spin off!

We first met Diamond in Ropers Can't Tie Knots, and from that moment I knew I needed his story. It turned out to be so much more than I hoped for.
Diamond has been busy manifesting his dream cowboy, he even has an entire Pinterest board dedicated to it. And then one day poof, all that manifesting pays off and his dream cowboy shows up in Kissing Ridge.
Rhett comes to town to take a position at Hunter’s new ranch, but things don’t exactly go smoothly when he and Diamond first meet. They’ve both had some rough past experiences, so the walls are definitely up. Still, how could anyone not fall for Diamond?
One of my favorite parts of the story was Diamond’s relationship with his dad. They have such a strong bond, and I absolutely loved seeing that connection throughout the book.
Books by RM Neill are always feel good, funny, and full of heart with very little drama. You find yourself smiling while reading. This is the last book in the series, which makes me a little sad, but I can’t wait to see what she brings us next.

You can read this as a standalone, however, why not experience the whole Kissing Ridge gang

Two more perfect guys can’t be found!

They fit each other even though logically they probably shouldn’t.
And initially they don’t.
When they first meet Rhett thinks Diamond is nothing but a flirt.

Diamond owns a bakery/coffee shop and Rhett rides the rodeo circuit.
Everyone in town loves Diamond and he's friendly to everyone.

Now Rhett wants to put down roots.
He’s tired of being on the road constantly.
When Rhettt is offered a position teaching future rodeo riders he comes to town and meets Diamond.

Their conversation about what they’d like on a date is so sweet.
Neither one wants to make the first move especially if they’re wrong i.
It could be painful and, embarrassing.
Not to say humiliating.

But once again conversations and honesty brings them together…along with the help of friends and pups, and a love for horses and the land.

A heartwarming story with an HEA.
If you love romance, I'm confident you'll love this.

Thanks to Bookfunnel and RM for this most appreciated book!

Low angst, good vibes in Canadian cowboy country🏞🐎

I had a great time reading books one and three in the author's Kissing Ridge series a while back but approached this as a standalone and it worked. Characters from earlier in the series do appear and, especially Hunter and Jackson, are key side characters, but I appreciated that I didn't need to know their prior stories to enjoy the central MM romance between cafe owner/baker Diamond and champion bronc rider Rhett who is looking to establish a home base in Kissing Ridge.

Diamond with his sad history of illness and failed romance was my favorite of the couple. He's so kind and supportive to his friends and Rhett, whose protective shell makes their initial meeting so unpleasant. Plus, Diamond's close relationship with his tomato-obsessed father is lovely.

This one had little angst and a nice progression of increasing trust to the romance.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest opinion.

Fourth in series and finale (Kissing Ridge Cowboys), can be read as a standalone but might be better if read in order. Friends with benefits. Opposites attract. Hurt/comfort. Found family. Dual POV. Heed content warnings.

Coffee shop owner Diamond manifests the man of his dreams when he finds out bronc rider Rhett is moving to Kissing Ridge. Rhett is happy to be in a new town with a new job outside of the rodeo circuit, but risking his heart by falling in love again is a hard no.

This story has two main characters to love and to root for. Both Diamond and Rhett are confident and capable in their careers and yet have had personal relationships let them down in the past which has bruised both of their hearts and causes them to question whether they can have love and happiness. I enjoyed Diamond’s character as he is so giving and has a big heart, and it takes a while to see that Rhett is a romantic deep down once he opens up to Diamond. A really sweet story with supportive friends, where two guys have to work a little harder to grab onto their HEA. 4.25

Independent reviewer for Neon, I was gifted my copy of this book.

This is book 4, the final book, in the Kissing Ridge Cowboys series, and you don't need to have read books 1 through 3. I've only read book 3 and I lovevd that book.

I loved this one too!

Diamond and Rhett are perfect for each other, even if their first meeting went a little wrong. Rhett did redeem himself though.

I loved that they started out as smex buddies, by agreement, but they both very quickly realised that they wanted more.

Loved that all the guys from previous books pop up, and I loved Diamond's dad!

What I loved most about this, and book 3, was how easy they were to read. You can just fall into them, and not have to concentrate too, which is a VERY GOOD THING!!

At some point, I want to go back and read books one and two, but not sure when I'll get to them.

I loved these books and I highly recommend them. These books put Ms Neil firmly on my auto sign-up list!

5 wonderful stars

BRONC RIDERS DON'T FALL IN LOVE is the fourth in RM Neill’s Kissing Springs Cowboys series. Bronc rider Rhett Cuglietta's caught coffee shop owner and baker Diamond Ward's eye even before he ever sets foot in town. When Diamond's friends bring Rhett on staff at their fledgling rodeo training facility, it's a big change of pace for Rhett, but he's hopeful it will be a fresh start in a good place for himself and his beloved horse and dog. Unfortunately Diamond's friendly overture lands like a lead balloon...

RM Neill's romance between the gruff rodeo star and the dazzling self-proclaimed queen of hospitality reminds us that sometimes we just need a second chance to make a good first impression. While Diamond and Rhett's early exchanges catch them a bit flat-footed, they're smart to grab the subsequent chances to get to know each other better, and their friends give them both space and encouragement to build that connection. A hopeful and happy read.

Another fantastic entry in the Kissing Ridge Cowboys series. Lots of found family and grumpy/sunshine in this one. Medium spice as it takes awhile for them to get together.

Rhett comes to town to work at a bronc riding school that characters from previous books have set up. Diamond owns his own cafe in town. They meet at a friends gathering and don't hit it off immediately. Rhett is rude, Diamond is confused. Rhett quickly realizes his mistake and from them on can't take his eyes off Diamond. Diamond is smitten immediately. It takes awhile for Rhett to let his walls down and let Diamond in. Eventually they get their HEA.

Super enjoyable, looking forward to the next one. (While this is part of a series, it works well as a stand alone - but really, you want to read the other books - they're all soooo GOOD).

Diamond is a bit over the top. He knows it and his friends love him for it. Rhett is the reserved one, holding himself back from attachments. Each one uses their outward demeanor to hide old hurts and insecurities. Their first meeting doesn't go really well. But it may be the best thing that ever happened to either one of them.

This was an incredibly fun, incredibly moving story. I couldn't help feel Rhett and Diamond's pain, and ultimately, their joy. Added to that are the appearance of characters from the earlier Kissing Ridge books. On full display is the closeness they share and the way they care for each other. It made this last book in the series all the more meaningful, all the more powerful.

Thanks to RM Neill for a copy of this book. The thought and opinions are my own.

I really enjoyed Diamond and Rhett's story! Both have been through a lot but finally meet each other and find their happily ever after. They've been hurt deeply, but the deep love they feel for each other heals their souls. I loved seeing the romantic sides of both of them come out. It was beautiful to see both of them tear down their walls and be honest and direct with each other. I loved their caretaking, they both needed it and they both did it in the exact way the other person needed it.

It was great being back at Kissing Ridge and seeing the other couples and what they were up to. I really enjoyed this found family and how they were all in each other's corners and always ready to help in any way they could.

This was a very sweet and beautiful story. Diamond and Rhett's backstories will have you teary eyed, but it's worth it to see them so happy together.

Another 5 stars in this series! I was looking for Diamond's story and was not disappointed. I loved him, I loved how flirty, fun, sassy he is, but also vulnerable and open. And Rhett is actually so sweet behind the gruff exterior, I just wanted to hug him. They go so well together, I loved the chemistry, the communication, the comfort they ultimately bring to each other. I also loved how we have a few chapters of them together as a couple before the end of the book. And as in previous books, even if the book deals with harder topics, it's done delicately and the book it's still on the lighter side and easy to read. I recommend!

This is the fourth and last book of the Kissing Ridge Cowboys series, and while it can be read as a standalone I think it would be more enjoyable to read the books in orders, and the previous books are also great!

I got an ARC and this is my honest review.

This novel was so sweet. Diamond deserved his HEA, and boy, did he get it. It was hard fought between the two men. Navigating their baggage and climbing walls seemed impossible. Diamond and some pretty tall walls to climb, Rhett had built them up for a while. Diamond had baggage he'd carried with him for a long time, and it was heavy. Each man had their support systems, and once they let their friends help, they were able to get past each other's walls and baggage. Their passion and love for each other were beautiful to read. RM Neill also wrote some cameos from previous series, and it was fun to read how they interacted with this world. Overall, a gratifying read, and I highly recommend this series.

Another fantastic story in the Kissing Ridge series! Book 4 in the series follows coffee shop owner Diamond and bronc rider Rhett. Both men come with a lot of heavy baggage and high walls to climb. Diamond and Rhett are instantly attracted to one another. They agree to keep things casual between them, no feelings, but we all know how well that usually works out. The more time they spend together, the more the walls begin to crumble and with the help of their friends and family, they may just find their HEA. Overall, this was a low angst, sweet but spicy, hard to put down, easy to read, end to the series. It was fun seeing all the past characters from previous books and I can’t wait for more!

This is book 4 and the last book in the Kissing Ridge Cowboys series and I loved it. Diamond is adorable and Rhett gorgeous, and together they made a great couple. After their first meeting, which didn’t go so well, it was terrific watching them get together. Both men are dealing with hard times in their pasts which has Rhett reluctant to start a serious relationship, despite the attraction between them. This is a sweet, emotional, low-angst, heartwarming story about two men who are perfect for each other and who deserve their happy ever after. To help them along there are appearances from previous main characters, but that shouldn’t stop you from reading this book. I loved Diamond and Rhett’s story and happily recommend it as a terrific read.

Diamond is a flirty, sunshiny barista who hides a heavy past behind a bright smile. Rhett
is a champion bronc rider who is done with the road and ready to settle down, but he’s built massive walls around his heart to keep from getting hurt. When they agree to a friends with benefits arrangement, they think they’re safe from emotions getting in the way. Spoiler: They aren't. 😂

Diamond is a literal ball of energy, while Rhett is the tender-hearted grump who just needs a soft space. This story has emotional depth and I absolutely loved Diamond’s dad, Will!

Trigger warning: this book has a character that is a cancer survivor. Frequent mention of his treatment is made. If this brings unpleasant memories proceed with caution.
Also mentions of parental abandonment and death of a grandparents. Both presented as memories and not on page.
I loved both Rhett and Diamond. I loved seeing all the gang too. Lots of great characters, a beautiful story with lots going on. The only thing I missed was a bit more rodeo action. But all in all it was an amazing story. I loved Tater and the horses too.
If you like rodeo cowboys, bronc riders, baristas, a little grumpy sunshine, hurt comfort and small town romance you will love this.

Thank you for the book; here is my honest opinions:
This is such a wonderful series, I’ve enjoyed all the books. Diamond has been a favorite of mine, so I’m happy he got his own cowboy HEA. Rhett took a while to warm up to as he clung so long to the keeping it casual thing, which got frustrating. I did enjoy it, RM Neil writes with such a fun sense of humor and does big swoony moments better than anyone. I absolutely loved Diamond’s dad, Will. He is an absolute delight and their relationship was really lovely- a highlight for me. I loved Diamond, he manifested his own happy ending, I’m glad Rhett got on board.
