Probably far more than the average Joe wants to know about the subject, but is the most complete book in English on the subject that I've read. Also includes info on some modern tea gardens, unusual. Illustrations are great, but it's a fairly small format book which detracts from the pretty pictures. You could probably make a good first pass at designing a tea garden based on this book.
