Most of my life I've experienced chronic insomnia which has gotten progressively worse with age. I read everything I find on the subject. This short book is a well-crafted approach for help without drugs and over the counter sleep aides. (Much information has come out recently about long term health issues stemming from overuse of these aides.) The author suggests daily adding one new practice for 30 days to develop better sleep. She guides you through creating a sanctuary space for sleep, awareness of screens, light, food influences, and psychological relaxation. She gives simple, practical, doable actions to practice.
