Turns out, Mia isn’t the only one with a past that refuses to stay buried.
Alexander’s past was meant to stay hidden… until his control slipped, and everything surfaced before Mia’s eyes, tormenting her.
Her new husband has secrets. Dark, obsessive secrets.
Mia is his first love. He will be her last. He’s determined to make sure of it—even if it means destroying the man who’s now burning for a second chance.
James Sinclair. Her ex-husband.
“The cleaning of Mia’s bedroom—leave it only to Mrs. Maisel. No one else is allowed inside. And arrange a personal shopping assistant for her. After she comes back home, let her buy whatever she wants. No need for my permission. Also, inform everyone at the office that whenever my wife comes, no one is allowed to stop her. No matter what time—even if a meeting is in progress—let her walk straight in.”
With a distraught voice, James gave the orders.
Mia’s shadows—the ones he never even knew existed—have begun to consume him. The man who once believed his young wife would never dare to leave him can’t even find a trace of her anymore.
He doesn’t know… she’s already someone else’s wife.
James will risk everything to have Mia back in his house. In his bed this time. But Alexander will burn the world to make sure she never leaves his.
Between two jealous, possessive billionaires, Mia’s world is about to ignite.

Ava Selwyn is an Asian, steamy billionaire romance author with a passion for angst, heartache, and love that burns with intensity. She creates worlds filled with powerful, possessive men who crave to give everything to the women they love. Her stories are drenched in longing, desperate passion, and unforgettable happily-ever-afters.
When she's not writing, Ava loves to travel, indulging in new cuisines and exploring diverse cultures. She lives with her many fictional husbands, who never fail to keep her heart racing.
hands down dont read this series.. it feels like AI wrote it. ow is obessed with the mmc saying he loves her and all that seconds later needs to run away from mmc because hes trying to trap her? when the mmc doesn't even know her?
like this whole series is copy paste over again. Just with a different brother? or cousin because it says auntie and hes my brother. like I said mess..
What in the hell did I just read? The first wasn’t horrible but this one was so damn choppy. Nothing flow, nothing made sense. FMC goes from shy to xena warrior princess with no explanation how that happened? The entire book was basically all sex and no storyline. This series sucks. Do better Ava Selwyn
Second books is also good. The drama just keeps going. Story continues with Mia finding out about Janet, the girl Alexander had a contract with. She was paid to accompany him to events so other women would stay away. She also finds out Alexander knew about her before he had helped her when she was attacked on the streets after leaving James house. She also finds out that Harold is related to her, their cousin. There is a lot more drama with James and Kylie his school friend. Kylie wants to trap him into dating her but he is obsessed with Mia. Janet has gone crazy thinking Alexander wants her. She destroyed the she had with her boyfriend and her mom dies because she was obsessed with Alexander, thinking he was the only person that could lend her the money for her mom’s surgery.
Gotta read the third book to find out if Mia forgives Alexander for his lies

This book is part two of the trilogy. James is finally having to face the truth that Mia has left. She has signed the divorce papers and she is no longer his. But can he accept that? What he doesn't know yet is that she is set to marry the billionaire Alexander Graves. His business rival. I liked that Mia was starting to realize her value as a woman after so many years of James making her feel small. The over the top obsessive alphas, James and Alexander are definitely that. Mia is polite and shy but Alexander lights a fire in her she can't ignore. I can't wait to see what happens in the conclusion.
The characters are delusional and entitled. The story makes no sense. There are way too many POVs and tangents to the overall story. I thought this story was about James and Mia but it’s about everyone and nothing all at the same time. Almost all females hate Mia and all the men in the story are obsessed with her and Mia is aloof to it all. The story is cringy, disjointed, and hard to follow. The spice is horrible. Being mauled by a pack of wild dogs sound more appealing then any of the spice scenes in the book. I thought book two would make sense of the mess that was book one. It is just a continuation. I quit.
I kept seeing the reels for this series on FB and yes, I thought it sounded like something I would enjoy. I enjoyed the Favorite series and bought these also.
Author: Ava Selwyn Triggers: yes, please check each book for the warnings Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Character Development: ✨✨ ✨✨ ✨ When I just want to yell at the characters, the book gets 5 stars. Plot: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The plot was fast moving and well put together. As it moved from book to book, there was no giant change and flowed well. Will I reread? YES Would I change anything? NO
Mia is caught between Alexander and her ex. Her ex shows his true colors to her. I hope she doesn't go back to him. She discovers things about Alexander that frighten her. Some of the scenes and characters do not make sense. They add nothing to the story. Mia has a little character growth . I will probably read the next book because I'm interested what happens to Mia. There are steamy scenes.
First of all - Poor Harold. He's like a sweet little puppy wanting love but keeps popping up a little too late.
Second Mia is toughening up against outside bullies which is great but she really needs to learn to listen to Alexander. Yes he's domineering but he does care for Mia. Hopefully he can turn it down a bit so he can have his happily ever after.
I really want to like this book and just so discombobulated. Unexpected characters thst show up out of nowhere, OTT reactions, and plain things scenes that doesn't make sense.
This is the fifth book in the Possessive Billionaires, Precious Sweethearts series. It’s the continuation of Mia, James and Alexander’s story. She is caught between these two obsessive men. You have to read Craving the Obsession for it to make any kind of sense. I’m enjoying this trilogy.
Not a bad second book. It picks up right where the first book left us hanging. However I’m not liking our female lead very much at this point. She’s pretty immature.
