As a novella, 4 stars for this spicy insta list and love! Nadia is supporting her friend and ends up at the right place at the right time. Zak appears and wants her help …
Zak is insta-smitten with Nadia, who is melted by his good looks, muscles, tatts, and overall powerful persona.
He claims the marriage immediately and frequently ‘wife’s’ her. Then when he goes to town on her, everyone turns to quivering messes. Hot, horny and a quick read - beautiful!
Excerpts from Accidentally Marrying the Bratva Boss written by Imani Jay:
“But I’m not sleeping in your bed.” “Why not?” “Because I don’t know you!” “You married me.” “By accident!” “Still counts.” I want to freaking strangle him.
I turn and, oh my God! He’s in gray sweatpants. Shirtless. Fucking acres of muscles, tanned skin, and tats. Why me? God, why? And that V that drips into the low waistband of his sweats? Just fucking kill me now.
Goddamn perfect. Exactly how I want her. Well-fucked, fucking mine.
I’m naked against the wall. While he’s still fully dressed and covered in blood. And it’s the hottest thing I’ve ever experienced.
Smothering me with her thighs, riding my face. Fucking beautiful.
Zak & Nadia, an insta everything short and spicy story. Nadia is attending her best friends wedding, in fact a group wedding! In storms Zak, grabs Nadia, marries Nadia, and loves Nadia! He is rather bossy and protective. She is strong and challenges him when necessary. Lots a spicy times along with good communication, conversation and a well loved cat.

Who knew that a simple trip to Reno where you are judging your friend's decisions would ultimately lead to turning your life upside down?! This was a fast, fun mafiaish romance. Zak is all green flags sort of wrapped up in a giant red one 🤣. At first, i thought Nadia was in over her head, but turns out she was down for the ride... even if she didn't quite know that herself yet. No lie though, Zak's methods of persuasion were on point.
The Accidentally Marrying novellas have been a good time to read. And I’ve read enough of Imani Jay’s books to know her writing as well as her vibe—it’s all over in this one. It’s the Bratva Boss, and she’s a curvy girl who accidentally marries him. He thinks she’s absolutely perfect. He doesn’t care how heavy she is. He has a dirty mouth and says all the hot things, too. Imani Jay, of course, gets right to it—from the spice, he falls first. Her crabby cat, Crabby, even falls for him! Another winner!
This gave what it needed to give in an Instalove story! Zakhar is that MMC you want to root for. The way he is just over the moon for Nadia from day 1 was absolutely amazing to read. I liked that Nadia put up a fight but we all know how that goes lol.

While trying to talk her best friend Leah out of marrying a man she met like five minutes ago, Nadia somehow manages to trip headfirst into the exact same chaos. In her defense? It was a group wedding. The mysterious stranger only asked her to pretend they were another blissfully betrothed couple in the lineup. Also—minor detail—he was bleeding and evidently needed her help. And when bullets start flying, he throws himself in front of her without hesitation. So really, what was she supposed to do? The next thing she knows, she’s being shoved into a black SUV and spirited away by a man who turns out to be none other than Zakhar Maksimov, a Bratva Pakhan with enemies who now see her as a target and a very firm grip on what he deems being “for her own good.” And apparently, what’s good for her is staying under his roof, his protection… and in his bed. After all, they’re married. Well, technically. What makes this story sparkle isn’t just the wild, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it marriage or the high-stakes danger humming in the background, it’s the dynamic between Nadia and Zak. Yes, he’s bossy. Yes, he’s territorial. But when it comes to Nadia, Zak is an absolute softie. He admires her courage, the way she instinctively helped a stranger even when it put her in danger. And the moment she falls asleep in his arms, trusting him completely? Game over. She’s not just his wife—she’s his. Nadia, for her part, doesn’t exactly fight the arrangement with Olympic-level enthusiasm. Her protests are more token than determined, especially once their banter starts crackling and the chemistry kicks into high gear. The push and pull between them is delicious. Playful, charged, and impossible not to root for. If you’re looking for a mafia-heavy storyline, you should look elsewhere, this is a fun and easy read that is basically a bit of foreplay before you come to the spicy bits. Is it over-the-top, instalove mayhem? You bet, but it’s a wildly entertaining, exhilarating ride. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
If you are looking for a fun, sexy, insta-love Bratva romance with low stakes and a unique meet-cute, then this novella has you covered!
Nadia and Zak meet when he crashes her best friend's group wedding. Nadia’s bestie, Leah, is eloping in Reno at a place that specializes in group ceremonies with a man she just met. Zak is hiding from hitmen from a rival family and coerces Nadia into pretending they are a couple to blend in. They end up actually married, and something in his brain just switches. Zak decides he is keeping his new wife, even if Nadia is not quite sold on the idea yet.
This is a very fast-paced story with major insta-love energy. Nadia, bless her heart, puts up the weakest attempt at a protest I’ve ever seen, but honestly, it works for this specific story. I really enjoyed this for the over-the-top cliches and the hot spice. There isn’t a ton of character development beyond Zak being a possessive alpha husband and Nadia being a strong, independent nurse who even works overtime because of her empathy.
Overall, I had a good time with this one, even though there were moments where I simply couldn't take it seriously. It is a perfect palate cleanser if you are into dark romance but want something a little more "camp." There is an awesome scene where Zak just loses it on the rival family for scaring his wife, perfectly embodying that "burn the world for her" trope we all love.
So if you are into over-the-top alpha males who mark, claim, and breed their woman, this is definitely the book for you!.

Accidentally Marrying the Bratva Boss delivers exactly what it promises: a fast‑paced, wildly fun love story fueled by instant chemistry and an unexpectedly soft, swoony hero. If you enjoy romance where the devotion hits early, the danger hits fast, and the emotional payoff hits hard, this one is an absolute treat. What makes the book shine is the dynamic between the leads. Their marriage-of-accident setup could have felt chaotic, but instead it turns into something genuinely sweet. The hero, despite his intimidating world, is completely enamored with his new wife from the start — not just protective, but thoughtful in the most charming ways. The scenes where he supports her love of romance novels, carries her books at a convention, and hands over his black card with zero hesitation? Pure delight. It gives the story a warm, almost cozy feeling beneath the action. The couple’s connection is immediate but not shallow. Their chemistry comes across as two people who simply fit — passionate, loyal, and ready to take on danger side by side. The plot moves quickly, with bursts of action and tension, but the core of the story is the tenderness between two people who fall hard and fast. If you love:
❤️ Instalove done well 💍 Unexpected or accidental marriage tropes 🖤 A devoted, protective hero with a soft spot for the heroine’s quirks 📚 Nods to book-lover culture ⚡ Romance blended with danger and adrenaline
…this story will absolutely scratch that itch. It’s fun, affectionate, dramatic in all the right ways, and leaves you rooting for a couple whose bond feels both passionate and genuinely loving. A perfect, swoony escape read.
I cannot emphasize how fantastic this is! If you like Bratva romance, a kick ass hot man and his sassy woman then this is one book you will definitely enjoy. Zakhar Maksimov (Zak) is simply amazing Bratva boss who tells Nadia she's needs to help him blend in. Nadia is a nurse who is on fun weekend with her bestie Leah when her friend meets her man and Leah and George decides to get marry at the Eternal of Love pink chapel in Reno. The reasons I enjoyed this book is because its funny, entertaining and passionate page-turner that's steamy, unpredictable with witty wonderful characters. I enjoyed how these two characters had a push and pull relationship between them that brought out the fire that's lit under their skin. The chemistry was steamy it's fast paced but it had me panting for more. Plus I have a word of advice, don't stand alone in quickie marriage chapel you never know if you will be accidentally married.!!! Zak is quite intrigued by the spitfire that holds nothing back, including her insults. Bringing Nadia into his world of danger is just the start.Their story is electric. WOW!! This one is hands down in my top 10 books of the year!!!! Zak and Nadia are so perfect together. The romance is so swoon worthy! You must grab this one and put it at the top of your TBR!
Accidentally Marrying The Bratva Boss by Imani Jay is the first title I've read by this author and as part of the multi author Accidentally Marrying series it was an entertaining read. As an instalove, Bratva, forced proximity romance the plot and storyline was engaging especially with the main characters of Zak, the Bratva Pakhan mafia boss and, Nadia, a romance novel loving nurse in the wrong place at the right time. Nadia is at a wedding chapel seeing her best friend impulsively marrying a stranger when she is swept up into helping Zak evade rival gangsters and ends up marrying him. Zak is struck with instalust by Nadia and she isn't blind to his physical attributes either and as a result of Zak's protective alpha nature he forces Nadia to accompany him home for her 'safety'. Zak quickly realises Nadia means more to him than convenience and enacts a plan of physical and emotional persuasion to convince Nadia that the marriage is real and worth keeping. Their chemistry is off the charts and the steamy and spicy scenes had me turning the pages right through to the very end to see how their HEA turned out.

In the exciting multi-author series Accidentally Marrying, we have *Accidentally Marrying the Bratva Boss* by Imani Jay, the eighth book. I have to admit I'm a little envious of Nadia. She’s in Reno to witness her friend’s wedding when she crosses paths with the charming and powerful Zak. Out of nowhere, he asks for her help and captures her attention instantly! Before they know it, they're signing papers and saying "I do" right alongside the happy couple.
Now married, Nadia is about to discover just how intense her new life will be. She has no idea what she’s gotten herself into or how possessive and protective Zak can be. He’s sure that she was meant to be his from the moment they met.
But here’s the fun part—Nadia isn’t shy at all! She’s sassy and independent, making her a perfect match for the Bratva Boss. Their playful banter and that undeniable chemistry create a delightful push-and-pull dynamic that's almost too spicy to resist. This book was such a fun and easy read that I just couldn't put it down!

A fast paced insta everything short and steamy spicy story you wont want to put down until the end. Nadia is attending the all of a sudden wedding of her best friend. Little does she realize it is a group type wedding. While patiently waiting trying to figure out how to talk her best friend out of doing it in storms Zak Bratva mafia boss bleeding and running from danger. He grabs her and "demands" that she help him. By the time everything quiets they are married and she is at his home wondering what the heck just happened. Zak is under a cloud of I am going to keep her she is now mine. But Nadia is not under that same cloud. Will these two be able to see eye to eye and find happy ever after? This is a very fast paced instalove done well unexpected or accidental marriage trope mafia romance read. It is wildly entertaining with a devoted protective hero who is an absolute softie with his woman and a strong challenging stubborn heroine. These two give you the absolute best push and pull relationship. A great addition to the accidentally married series. Highly recommend one clicking.

This book was absolutely hilarious. I loved every second of it. Kudos to Imana Jay on hitting this one out of the park. Nadia is a nurse. She and her best friend Leah take a girls weekend to Reno, where Leah meets her soulmate and decides to get married. Nadia being the friend she is goes with her to talk her out of the wedding. Little did she know pure chaos was about to ensue. Zak is the Pakhan of the Russian Bratva. He is shot by a rival family and takes refuge at a group wedding venue. A few minutes later he and Nadia are married. Nadia is unapologetically herself. She is loyal, fierce, brave, stubborn sassy and takes no crap from anyone. Zak is hot, dangerous, stubborn and overly possessive and protective. He is absolutely obsessed with his new wife and makes no secret about it. I Iove how Zak cares for Nadia and how she melts when he says please. Spicy, hilarious short read. And Crabby is chefs kiss. Even as grumpy as he is, Zak wins him over as well.

Nadia is the type of person who never does anything spontaneous—right up until the moment she accidentally marries a Bratva boss. What started as a desperate move to help Zak "blend in" while escaping a rival mafia family quickly turned into something much more dangerous: genuine feelings. Why I Loved It: • The Dynamic: Zak is a lethal Bratva boss, but he’s the first one to lose his heart. Watching him fall first while Nadia desperately tried (and failed) to resist him was perfection. • The Growth: Seeing Nadia step out of her comfort zone and into the chaotic world of the Bratva made for a great character arc. • The Heat: This was a high-spice love story that balanced the intensity of the mafia world with a surprisingly sweet emotional core. Final Verdict: A cute, steamy, and fast-paced read for anyone who loves the "accidental marriage" trope with a protective hero who falls hard.
This is another highly entertaining addition to this multi-author series and I about howled through it ;P Nadia is at a Vegas wedding chapel to try and stop her bestie from marrying a guy she met just three hours before...yeah, not much luck there, but she sure didn't expect a hot man to storm in and rush her into a photo booth... Zak is a Pakhan and was unexpectedly ambushed. His instant connection to Nadia has him grabbing her to help him hide. What follows is an accidental inclusion in a group wedding, only Zak is intent on staying married ;) He basically built himself into her life and kissed her quiet when he knew her arguments made sense. Lol! Her inner and outer voice was hilarious and I loved her! These two do fall in love and both find a way to be together, despite their very different lives. So good and definitely going on my re-read shelf. Expect a funny and spicy read when you dive into this one :D
Despite starting off promising, this story just did not work for me. Technically, the book delivers everything the synopsis promises: a fast paced, he falls first insta-love Bratva novella.
But it lacked chemistry between Zak and Nadia, and for a story like this, that is essential. Even the spice scenes, which should have sparked something, felt flat. The story quickly falls into what felt like a checklist of tropes and buzzwords, with even the banter between the characters coming across as chemistry free and robotic.
And Zak as a Pakhan never really works for reasons I cannot share while staying spoiler free.
As a novella, it is not terrible, just meh. But while it did not work for me, if you want a quick, low-stakes popcorn read, this could do the job.

From the very first page to the final chapter, this book completely captivated me. I found myself utterly immersed in every single aspect of the story, and I honestly loved everything about it. The sizzling chemistry between Zak and Nadia was truly intense and electrifying, making their scenes unforgettable. The character development was handled beautifully, providing enough depth without becoming overly drawn-out or repetitive. Zak has officially taken the top spot as my new favorite book boyfriend! I was completely hooked and found it impossible to put this book down; I devoured it in one sitting. Imani Jay is consistently amazing, but this particular novel truly stands out as one of her best works. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a thrilling and passionate read. Recommendation: Highly.

ARC Review — Accidentally Marrying The Bratva Boss: A Curvy Girl Romance by Imani Jay
This was a fun, dramatic, and addictive read that pulled me in with its fast pace and intense mafia romance energy. The accidental marriage setup instantly creates tension, and the dynamic between the powerful, protective Bratva boss and the strong, curvy FMC kept the story engaging from start to finish.
The relationship leans into possessive, protective romance with emotional moments mixed in with high-stakes danger, which made it easy to stay hooked. The chemistry between them builds quickly, and the story balances drama, romance, and suspense well. While some elements felt familiar to the trope, it still delivered the kind of entertaining, emotionally charged ride I was looking for.
Overall, this was an enjoyable, dramatic mafia romance with strong tension, protective love, and a compelling central relationship.
Read this if you like: mafia romance, accidental marriage tropes, protective love interests, possessive romance, and fast-paced dramatic reads.

This was fast, fun, steamy and the perfect amount of obsessed OTT alpha Bratva Pakhan. Their meet cute was chaotic and somehow they ended up legally married within seconds. I loved how Nadia wasn’t scared of him, called him out, sassed him and generally didn’t cower at all in the face of danger. She was really funny and sweet and held onto her independence throughout it all. Zak was obsessed with her immediately and was only soft with her. Loved that he genuinely cared for her wants and needs and literally destroyed anyone that even scared her. The big, bad Bratva boss had a major soft and romantic side when it came to his accidental wife. No cheating or OM/OW drama, dual POV, HEA and a sweet and steamy epilogue 3 months in the future. Looking forward to what’s next!
Nadia was trying to talk her friend Leah out of marrying a man she knew for four hours, but accompanied her friend to Reno wedding chapel...There was supposed to be group wedding of several couples...but before happened, wounded man storms into venue, grabs Nadia, takes her into photo booth and advised he needs her to help him blend in...meanwhile chapel employee takes their names...and joining group, find themselves as part of group married, not witnesses...ooopps...but now what will happen?? An annulment? or a HEA?? You will need to read this quick story to see what happens. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Zak is the cuddle teddy bear for his woman, but a grizzly for those that wish to cause her harm, and doesn't that just melt your... ?
The immediate obbsession Zak had for Nadia was cute. While the accidental marriage was an option of convenience at the time, you for sure saw how quick it took Zak to go from, "Hey there stranger," to "Hey wife."
I enjoyed the insta lovey dovey-ness. I would have loved to see Zac be a little more brutal. You can't tell me Mafia, and I not see unlimited amounts of violence.
‘Accidentally Marrying The Bratva Boss’ may be one of. No is one of those books that you read to start your weekend with.
The entire book draws you into a journey that you might not expect, but expect. The storyline and the characters are detailed just enough that it doesn’t leave many questions. But definitely gives you HEA.
The chemistry is definitely there from beginning to end.

Nadia has come to her best friend’s impromptu wedding to convince her to wait a little before marrying her fiancé. While there Zak needs her help and she is the one who finds herself married before leaving.
Zak is a powerful man in the Bratva who has just been attacked by his enemies. The ceremony was only supposed to allow him a way to escape the situation he found himself in, but when he finds out it is real he is determined to ensure it stays that way.
Zak is sweet when it comes to Nadia and feared by everyone else as there is nothing he won’t do to keep Nadia safe and eliminate any threats they may face in the most permanent way possible.
Accidentally Marrying the Bratva Boss is a steamy good Bratva romance that is insta everything and I loved it all, MFC Nadia is in Reno with her bestie who has just decided to marry some guy she just met. While waiting for the quickie nuptials to finish she gets manhandled by some guy who crashes the event using her to hide from dangerous enemies. Hello Bratva Pakhan Zak! The best part… they end up married. I laughed with and loved Nadia who didn’t take any bull, and Zak was just too good looking not to like. Wonderful writing, and captivating characters had me all into this short but delicious read! HEA.

Nadia and Zak's story is a super fun steamy accidentally marrying romance that is a must read. I couldn't stop reading once I started. Nadia is beautiful, sexy and full of strength and spirit. Zak is a strong intimidating sexy as sin Bratva Boss. Even though they are accidentally married they fall helplessly in love. It's so romantic and love love how he responded to her Romance novels when he is helping her to unpack. I need a man like Zak. LoL These two are so perfect together and meant to be. Imani is a wonderful fun author. I highly recommend this book and this series. Enjoy everyone.

This read was ridiculously sweet, completely OTT, instalove, with all the good tropes…he falls first, size difference, big mafia Pakhan, big curvy woman, the accidental marriage….just perfect…. And the spice???? Well….Imani wrote it….of course it’s gonna make your kindle🤭😘😉😍🔥.

Loved how this story puts you right in the middle of the action from the start. Nadia is, ironically, trying to convince her best friend NOT to marry a virtual stranger. Somehow she ends up accidentally married to the massive wall of muscle that begged her to help him "blend in" (aka Zak). That whole sinereo was hilarious, though probably not to her. This story tells how Zak works to convince his "wife" that the marriage was really no accident at all. Great MCs and side characters, the story had my full attention the entire way through!.
I was gifted a copy of this book and voluntarily provided this review. Happy Reading Y'all 📚
Mafia romance. Nadia is a young woman who came to Las Vegas with her friend. She never imagined she'd have to stop her friend from marrying a stranger during her trip, let alone end up married to a mafia boss. Zakhar is a Bratva leader in Las Vegas. While trying to get out of a brawl, he finds himself face to face with the most beautiful woman. So, if marrying her is what it takes to get out of his predicament, it's just a bonus. Will Nadia and Zakhar have a beautiful love story, or will they part ways once Zakhar's problems are solved….

I have never read @ImaniJay but honestly, I am here for it. I have decided I love mafia books, especially novellas that are usually chock full of spice, drama and suspense in small packages. This had all that in spades! While in Reno, a friend’s wedding gets out of control and Nadia accidentally marries the bratva boss and then stays under his protection. There’s danger, she’s a curvy girl and he is instantly entranced. I love myself a protective man, and Zak is that and more. She’s a nurse and he has a dirty mouth and it’s a match made in heaven. This was such a fun spot in this series! Woohoo!

Okay, I'm a bit biased because I love Imani's books, however, I must admit that this is my favorite read of her works in a while. I love the dynamics of the MMC and FMC. Yes, he's alpha and she's fiesta, but there are layers that made the story seem longer than it is, more like a full length novel. A lot of shor stories feel rushed, not this one. It grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let you go. This was an amazing read and I would love more like this.
