Winter Nights & Christmas Lights: A Sapphic Holiday RomCom

Rate this book
She thought she was just looking for a date.
Instead, she found a manor, a puppy, and the most magical Christmas of her life.

Charlotte is spending Christmas alone in Dublin... until a last-minute swipe on a dating app changes everything. Aoife is glamorous, mysterious, and completely out of Charlotte’s league. Or so she thinks.

One enchanted date turns into late night texts, festive market strolls, and a surprise invitation to Christmas at Aoife’s family manor. Charlotte didn’t pack for wealth, drama, or falling headfirst into something that feels a lot like forever.

But between snow dusted kisses, mischievous siblings, and one very well timed puppy, this Christmas might just rewrite everything she thought she knew about love.

A cozy, feel good sapphic romcom full of holiday lights, found family, and the kind of love that feels like coming home.

Cozy and soft—the author's signature is definetely there! If you're looking for a holiday novella with no drama, but with everything we love in romance that's your story.

I'll post the complete review soon.

This was such a cool book! My first sapphic read and Sophia did not disappoint!

The book is about a girl, Charlotte going to Dublin for her studies and on a dating app finds the love protagonist, Aoife, who is super rich like generational wealth and the way she spoils Charlotte?? Like oh my god!

Also the book described various parts of Dublin so well it felt like I was a tourist there myself.

Perfect, short, cozy read for the Christmas!

Sapphics will love this

The fmc starts off rude to and about her roommates. At first i didn't like this and hoped for a good character development arc. That was until her roommate opens her mouth and then I think the fmc isn't being mean enough to them. They're both so nasty & horrid little creatures. Even if they did serve the plot.

It was quite funny, I thought to myself that the only way this could get more gay, is if one helped the other move and lo and behold!!

The only thing I'd tweak is the pacing. At the end of the book we seemed to move at 100mph. I'd of liked to focus a bit more on the girls and their activities. But I did appreciate Aoifes POV at the end!

This was a tasty appetiser for the holiday season. I really enjoyed it.

So much goodness packed in one little book. 🖤🎄
Aofie and Charlottes relationship felt so realistic. I also loved the added friend drama, I couldn’t get over how Aofie stood up for Charlotte and was there for her.

Also Aofie being a hot, kind rich lady really did it for me. I love her “I got it handled” personality reminds me of my partner! Cute cozy and very Christmasy. And yes it is fast paced romance but sue me! I think it’s better than slow burn. 🔥

Hallmark movie and make it sapphic, cute and cozy I wanted a quick read for Christmas since I wasn’t 100% feeling Christmassy.
