Of course, with their luck, things can never go off without a hitch.
Join Alabama and Abe, Cookie and Fiona, as well as the rest of the SEAL team, as Caroline and Wolf start the rest of their life together.
**Marrying Caroline is book 4 in the SEAL of Protection Series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but it’s recommended you read the books in order.**
New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author, Susan Stoker has a heart as big as the state of Tennessee where she lives, but this all American girl has also spent the last fourteen years living in Missouri, California, Colorado, Indiana, and Tennessee. She's married to a retired Army man who now gets to follow her around the country.
Wow! Again very good. Enjoyed this one and how it came together was excellent as all these books are. I loved the tough guys showing their soft centres. I recommend to everyone to read all these books , few!! Alpha guys and gals hot hot. Thanks
I loved how it was Hunter being the Bridezilla! It was hilarious. Ice and Wolf are getting married and they let Hunter, the manly Seal, arrange it and it was pretty cute. He wanted it to be perfect. If course a little angst is thrown in and the wedding still turned out wonderful. I really do love this author and I love this series even though the last book got to me a little. I can't wait to read the other stories. I really want to read about Tex!!!

Huge disappointment. Sorry but the name "Alabama" still bugs the living crap out of me. Everything about it was just so ridiculous. Oh God! I still can't get over the name "Alabama."

In Marrying Caroline we get more of Caroline and Wolf’s story, we see how they are settling into their HEA, plus we catch up with other members of the SEAL team. It is a great novella length story that shows how things NOT going according to plans is sometimes the best plan! It definitely left me wanting more of some of my favorite SEALs! I absolutely loved the audiobook wonderfully narrated by Stella Bloom! -4 Stars!-
I'm sorry to say that this book just didn't do it for me. It was ridiculous that Cookie was the wedding planner. He drove me nuts. I also struggled with the SEAL metals. Cookie giving Caroline his but then didn't have one for the woman he married. I hate to say it but I felt a bit uncomfortable with Cookie's and Caroline's relationship...mainly on Cookie's end. It troubled me and I also felt a bit sorry for Cookie's wife. I don't know if it bothered her but it would have troubled me a good deal.
I thought the whole premise of the story was lacking.
Weddings they are special in them selfs but add a bunch of sexy seal and a group of strong women who live them and you will be taken on a amazing journey. Life can be taken from you in a minute............... Susan Stoker brings you books that's absolutely encase your heart with emotion
This is an amazing story. Wolf asked Ice to marry him & of course she said yes. He had asked her at their favorite bar & their friends ( family ) was there. Seeing how Cookie didn't have a traditional wedding, Wolf asked Cookie if he wanted to help Ice plan their wedding. Knowing that Wolf & his team could get called away on a mission Ice decided that they would get married in 2 months.. Ice was afraid that Fee would be mad or jealous or something with her spending a lot of time with Cookie, but she wasn't. Cause for her wedding they went to Vegas to get married because at that time big crowds made Fee very nervous.. Ice was getting frustrated with Cookie because he was pushing to hard for her to do all this wedding stuff.. Ice then decide to do the wedding stuff on the weekend and let Cookie make most of the decisions.
If you wanna know more go check out the book you won't be disappointed
This was a cute story, not my favorite of the series though. But a nice extended epilogue for this couple in this story. I loved seeing the banter between the SEAL team and seeing the strong female friendship bonds between the three women so far that we have seen with some hints on what the upcoming book will be. I did think it was odd seeing a strong SEAL man obsessed with a wedding though lol
I love when I find an author that I know each time I read their books I will love them. Susan Stoker is no exception. I am beyond thrilled at having found her books and look forward to each of them.
This short novella was no exception. Although I had a feeling what might happen, it played out a little different than I thought.
It was actually really cute that Cookie/Hunter helped Caroline to plan her wedding and that being a tough SEAL, he was more into it than she was.
The actual ceremony had tears falling from my eyes because I was so taken with how things played out.
Consistently fantastic! I love this series & eagerly await each new release. Reading about the wedding preparations & how Cookie wanted everything be perfect for Wolf & Caroline, was so sweet. The love between Wolf & Caroline is easy to see & melts your heart. The closeness between all of them as a group, a family, is heartwarming & makes you wish you had people like them in your life. Thank you Susan for another great book. This loyal fan is looking forward to the next one & seeing Mozart find his HEA.
I really wanted to see how this couple would enjoy their wedding day. After what they had gone through to be with each other, their wedding day had to be simply wonderful!! It broke my heart to see the problem with the wedding, but I was very pleased by the authors ability to find a Caroline-like way to get married anyway!!
I would recommend this book to everyone who likes the romance but also the drama of life combined in a book. Susan Stoker is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I can read her books and not want to put them down.
"Marrying Caroline" is a short, quick, sweet novella that ends with Wolf & Ice (Matthew & Caroline) becoming man and wife. Of course with these SEAL's we have come to expect some drama and some changes to the plans that have been made, that is why there is always more than one plan. This is a fantastic read that includes all the gang and all the feels. I loved the actual ceremony and everything leading up to it!! Five "flip-flop and tennis shoe" stars for this one!!!
Overall Amanda rating: A Such a cute tiny novella!! It maybe took me 45 minutes to read the entire thing. It was the perfect little story!! Seeing the friendship between Caroline and Cookie had to be my favorite part. While they both have their SO’s they are bonded so closely. Almost like brother and sister. The wedding doesn’t go to plan... but why would it?! The HEA at the end was perfect for me 😁
What is a wedding without drama ????? So its just natural that there will be drama when Wolf and Caroline decide to tie the knot right? Factor in Cookie is planning the wedding and driving Caroline nuts you just know Drama will follow but in the end will there be a wedding ?
Of course there will it just wont be how it was planned to be lol
This one was a bit odd for me. I would have rather Caroline plan her wedding with her fiance and not with Hunter. It seemed weird to me. Especially when Hunter has his own woman.
I enjoyed it, of course I did. But without the drama that is usually in the other books, this was just one big corn fest! It was a little OTT corny. But I don’t care, it was still fun.
I was a bit annoyed with this book from page 1. Matthew wants a big wedding, Caroline wants a small one. She gives in and SEAL Hunter becomes the wedding planner and he and Caroline do everything while the man that wanted a huge wedding does nothing to help.
It was a sweet book, there’s a bit of drama that fit in with a novella, but it was just ok.
With every subsequent book, I like Caroline less and less. I also constantly compare the characters in this series with the Seal Legacy characters, who are MUCH better.
Wolf(Matthew) and Caroline met in the first book of the series, at 35,000 ft in the air. They didn't click at first, but with everything that they went through, they were able to find comfort in each other. Now, since they have been together or a while, Matthew had a plan for the perfect way to propose to Caroline. Caroline, has never been the frilly girly type and would have been fine with running away and eloping just like Hunter and Fiona had. But Matthew really wanted to have the whole big wedding experience. Caroline wasn't worried about all the planning details, Matthew gave her the perfect suggestion for their wedding planner. The perfect wedding planner, although the sometimes he was so into it that at times it drive Caroline crazy. Other than picking the song for the first dance, Caroline wasn't worried about having to much say, she knew that it would be perfectly planned. Struggling to almost the last minute to find the perfect song for her first dance drover her planner nuts. The big day arrived all was going as planned, until the bride and her bridesmaids noticed the guys still hadn't arrived and the wedding should have already started. What would be keeping the guys? Did they get called out on a mission? Or did something happen to them? Susan Stoker does and amazing job writing sweet love stories, sometimes throwing in some spice and most times action. This story, it's more focused on the planning of the wedding and making everything perfect, but Susan knows how to pull the story together. (Also when Carolina does finally share what song she had picked, make sure to google it. It is almost as the song was wrote for them, perfect!)
Matthew "Wolf" Steel knew he wanted to marry Caroline and make her his. The love Wolf and Caroline had for each other was so strong that not even a plane hijacking, a kidnapping, an attempted drowning, and a terrorist plot, couldn't keep them apart. On the other hand those things brought them together.
Caroline or Ice like all the guys called her, had everything she had always wanted after her parents die in a car accident. Having a man that loved her unconditionally, friends that were more like brothers and sisters to her, she knew she was the happiest woman in the planet.
When Hunter "Cookie" Knox is set to help Caroline to plan her wedding she knew she had her work cut off. She loved Hunter and they had a special bond no one could break that. But as always this group always find themselves surrounded by drama and this wedding will not be the exception. I personally couldn't have imagined a better way to have Caroline and Wolf marring. I love this novella.
Susan Stoker continues to deliver amazing love stories from SEAL of Protection and Caroline and Wolf's wedding doesn't disappoints.
I recommend for you to read SEAL of Protection Series you will love this gorgeous, alpha Navy Seals.
I was not impressed with the sound quality of this audio. The performance was probably good but the audio had an annoying echo quality to more than half the audio. I was feeling like cotton was in my ears for the other portion of it.
I loved seeing Matt and Caroline make that commitment to each other. I was hoping they would be the first to marry but that was taken from them. I did like seeing the involvement of other in helping the couple make their day memorable. I was hoping for some intrigue to go with getting them down the aisle but that was not to be. This was a strong quick story.
**updated 12/29/2019 I have a better audio version of this book and as able to update the rating and the fact that the audio quality is so much better.
Having read and reasonable enjoyed the previous 3 books in this series I am disappointed to say that this book is utter utter boring tosh!!!
The title of the book “Marrying Caroline” did give us, the reader a clue that this book would involve Caroline and Wolf's wedding but never in a month of Sundays did I think that this would be the only and I mean only storyline in the whole novella. There is only so much talking about a wedding a reader can take and I had had my fill by the 25% mark. Lets just hope the next book in the series is back to being a mix of romance and action.
SEALS...tough, macho, testosterone are us, but not here. While that can be seen in the other books in this series, in this book it is nothing but hearts and love and hot...
Wolf and Caroline are getting married and Cookie will make it the best wedding ever, But we all know about the best laid plans of mice and men...and SEALS.
Yeah, that's right...they get married in the perfect wedding and the honeymoon is all they could have asked for.
Now that we are through that, let's get on to the next couple, Summer and Sam (Mozart).
Only one issue...there was a section that was not edited but story was great.
The marriage between Caroline and Matthew has been one all of us have been anxiously waiting for. Now that it's here, it has been worth the wait. If everyone all had friends like the ones in the SEAL of Protection series, who would do anything for their "family", even being a wedding planner. I think that it would put the planners out of business. I won't give any spoilers but it's amazing what a "sizeable donation" can accomplish if you put your imagination to work. I can't for Mozart's upcoming story.
Matthew (Wolf) and Caroline's (Ice) wedding... This story was fabulously told! I love the role Hunter (Cookie) plays in the wedding & how things don't go according to plan, but the way the plan changes is just spot on. : ) AND! The song that Caroline picks for their first dance... I'd not heard it before (which shocked me, considering who sings it) but I fell in love w/ the song & it is PERFECT for these two & their story & so I just say two thumbs up! : )
