Get to the point!

I absolutely thought the author was about to solve one of the excessive number of mysteries she has introduced. But nope, she just created more of them. There is minor movement on the case of the random supernatural in the other realm. But seriously nothing else. Absolutely no forward progress on the plot. Just more excessive filler and more mystery arcs. It is completely unnecessary. This is the book that makes me not want to read any further in the series. I have it two stars instead of one because the plot is good, the author just fails to make any forward progress after 8 books.

And it goes on and on my friends

The series is like a never-ending game of dungeons & dragons. You have one underlying story that keeps getting off the rails with side quests. I really wish that the author would just finish up the storyline. Also not take 2 to 3 pages of rambling dialogue to extend the story over and over again.

Oh How I Wish!

This review is going to be short but sweet! I love this series and its main characters. Oi, how I so wish book 9 was released and available for me right now because, this book left off on a serious cliffhanger. (huge sigh 😕)

This was another good installment, but felt really short. Neith and her team go after the wolf sales in this book and discover some more things about each of their powers. The end.

Wonderful

Ive been crossing my fingers every day for this book to come out and was sooooo excited when it was here just waiting for me 😁
Im so glad we get one of the two team members left back to the family. Ive been really worried about him and can't wait till he gets his memories back.
I feel so so sorry for our last guy locked away all by himself. Yes he did bad things but he wasnt doing it by choice. Please 🙏 let us get him out so the family is complete and those 2 spare rooms get filled.

It's a tiny cliff hanger but I still would love the next book to read because this story is beautifully written and actually makes you feel like your part of that world.

Im hoping they find her Dad in the next book and Baz will gain his memories that way as they are good friends. I also hope they do stay at HOUSE and make it their home because it has everything they could need and a bloody porthole to take them anywhere 😲

We get to see them save lots of people in this book and arrest lots of bad guys. Then something goes wrong unfortunately. We make a couple of new friends (one in a dream) and one we save and he gets sent off to his new life.

We have a guest living in his house in our house???? He seems nice but we don't know much about him yet. Ethel and House seem OK with him being their so he can't be a threat to our guys.

House and Ethel have been busy doing a remodel to make it the perfect home for everyone in the family. I was expecting them to have a room with a gigantic huge bed for them all to share lol 😆

Im a bit annoyed that she didn't tell them about her dream but that may have been wrote that way for a reason.

Im excited for the next book in this series but im also really excited for all the other books Nikita is writing at the moment, she is such a good author and her books are honestly some of the best I've ever read.

Thank you Nikita 😊

Great Book

Spoiler alert!
I really enjoyed this book. It took a minute for me to remember all that’s happened, and I’m glad I re read book 7 so I could truly get in the thick of things. I wish there was a summary of the previous books at the beginning of these, it would be so helpful.
It starts off where it left off.
They jump through a portal, was supposed to drop off at Neiths friends bar but instead, they are on the grounds surrounding House. And there was weird ghosts attacking House. Of course her and the guys immediately get on the defensive. Her magic does a wierd thing when she kills a ghost, the dark body and shape disappear, leaving a bright light bouncing around before zipping up into the sky. Ethel, the talking skill finally steps in and gets the ghosts to leave. They all trudge in, and eat the food House made for them. They find that House has accommodated a room for each of them plus 2 new ones. The rooms assigned to each mate are made exactly to their tastes. Sometimes even brining things from their old room from the old house into their new room here.
The Kelpies moved their lake to the house, and it’s here that they realize that they were stuck in a time warp at the end of the last book. And during that time, Neith was missing for hours. She didn’t remember any of that, but it’s explained near the end of this book that a demon of some time, fought with her and her spirit guides before she could get free. Now that the necklace the Imp gave her doesn’t cause her headaches anymore she can remember that guy from Lusideous, and of course, Ransom helped that guy in a sword fight while the time warp was happening. He was shifted to Lusideous in time to help him take down some bad guys, but was removed from that realm just as the fighting notched up a level. He keeps thinking of him, and after the big fight at the mansion to take down The Owner, the guy who buys and sells supernaturals so he can experiment on them Ransom is feeling restless. He seeks out Flint, the imp and asks if he can go check on the guy since flint has no idea who he’s talking about. Ransom, Coehn, and Raiden all jump to this Lusideous realm and find Baz. The guy Ransom helped, who is also the same guy Neith saw when the Imps tested her by sending her to the realm in the 2nd or 3rd book. After the imp removed the spell off her necklace, she also remembered seeing Baz and the creature that bit her is also the creature on the necklace. It’s all tying together nicely! I can’t wait for them to take down The Owner, Casimir, and all the bad guys. She also needs to find her dad Pete, and potentially help end the war in triniliea. I suspect there will be at least a dozen books in this series. This first 8 seems to have huge problem after huge problem, with barely scratching the surface for answers on the previous problems, although, this book I feel like was more of a here’s the start of getting all those problems taken care of, byway of answers. Baz is the next character to join their harem I believe, and is maybe even related to Ransom, as per the conversation they heard while looking for Baz in Lusideous. They never did get to find out where Pete is, or Murray, the witch that seems connected to every cookie pot. They learned of Murray’s involvement from the wolf pack, putting spells/wards on I think it was Logan’s personal. They are what made them go to Ireland. I am glad to hear they moved permanently and that House is actually Neiths even if it was deeded and signed 700 years ago. I feel like we are finally able to start piecing all the puzzle pieces together… just need a few more books to complete it all. Very entertaining read. Can’t wait for the next one!

If you do not want spoilers, do not read.

This was yet another amazing book in the series and I cannot wait for book 9 to be out. I’m going to be impatiently waiting because I just absolutely love the series.

You cannot convince me that Baz isn’t Kyrous. That Dimitri isn’t supposed to be a part of the team. And she is gaining really, really powerful allies.

I have a feeling that Casimir is going to be the least of their problems which is saying something. I really also hope in book 9 we actually get to see her interact with her dad for the first time.

I also know that they’re all much more powerful than we think but I have a feeling and I don’t know why, but I have a feeling that she’s actually the first ever born hybrid and that maybe the guys are in a way as well. Which would be insanely awesome. Because from the little bit, we do know about her biological parents (I say bio parents because Vans parents raised her) she seems to take after them both.

We did learn a lot more in this book, but we did definitely get a shit ton of more questions. So I’m just excited to see where we go from here.

Good

Neith and her men go after the people who have been trafficking the wolf shifters-- which means an extended stay in Ireland at House...

Picking up at the cliffhanger from book seven, we are quickly dragged back into Neith's world, as she and her men help House and Ethel weather an attack.
It only gets more crazy from there, but we do finally get to see more of a particular character I have been waiting for them to help! I have all kinds of theories about him, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing whether I am right about him or not.

This is a fast paced story, with almost non-stop action, and a few spicy scenes. There is a lot going on though, and Neith is pretty good at derailing everyone's thought processes to the point that we can't always keep track!
A fun, adventurous, ongoing story for RH fantasy lovers.

In for another wild ride

Neith is such a unique & lovable character even when she is faced with so many different obstacles & challenges.

Her inner monologue & thought patterns have me absolutely cackling while I’m reading.

Her & her many wonderful men are all on a mission to stop the sales of supernaturals. But they keep coming across more questions. Every book leaves me with more questions than the last & this one was no different.

Like who is Baz & how will he fit in with this group?

What is happening at the compound & with Trip?

What did Winston throw them into at the end of the book?

Will they be able to get The Owner & who helped him?

So many questions but Neith keeps you entertained with the laughs & crazy thoughts.

I’m anxious for the next book!

Great job!

Book 8

Much better. Still a few typos. This volume has less stream of consciousness meanderings, although the group does continue to talk a lot. There's more action to find and defeat the corrupt shifter sale nemesis. It's not revealed but I suspect they've found the missing member of their wonder team. All around good entertainment. Of course I love house and Edith so I'm biased.

Like always I wish the next book was out now. That was so good! And just devoured it in one day.
Neith and the guys are at it again. And now that they have Coen things are coming together. They even get to go on a mission together and get some baddies.
But as usual there’s more questions than answers. And now we get a little bit more when Ransom gets pulled to Luesidious. And yes meets the guy Neith winked at. I have theories about that. Have since she first saw him. 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Oh....you devious author. We got answers and some new mysteries. We met new friends and allies. We found someone (though it's not confirmed) that I thought was going to be part of the team since a few books ago. I really could've read a few hundred more pages. No matter.....you've definitely got me salivating for Book #9 in this series!

This series is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. 😅 It’s actually not great, but I can’t help myself, I’ll continue reading every book to come and rereading the others. 🤷🏼‍♀️🫣

Although, I’m starting to feel pretty annoyed at the FMC’s rambling quirk that was funny in the beginning — now, not as much. 🫠

Come on already!

I love the characters and storyline BUT I need something to finally happen already . Half the book is internal over-talking from the characters. I mean I get they finally found the missing member of there group now but that doesn’t answer any questions and I’m getting tired waiting on them.

another hit from Nikita!!!!!

Was there any doubt tho hahaha when it comes to Nikita’s books they are amazing!!!! I’m wondering if Baz with his missing memories is actually a character that is thought to have been unalived many years ago but that’s just my theory. Sooo can’t wait for the next book to come out,I’ve already preordered it. 10/10 recommend.

Love it...

Yet again, proof reader needed desperately.

This series needs pulling together now. The last couple of books has very much been random filler material with little forward motion of the story. I enjoyed what there was here but it was a lot of fluff with little substance at this point.

Once again, hit it out of the park!

I love Neith and her men. We are getting a bigger picture of how complex the mystery really is, and hints of what comes next. I can't say enough about the characters and overall storyline. I can't wait for book 9.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What an amazing addition to such a tremendous series. I can't wait to learn more about the new characters that were introduced in this book. They seem just as interesting as the other characters we've met so far. As always, I can't wait to get my hands on book 9.

It was nice seeing Nieth and her men again. In this book we get to see them complete at least one or two tasks on their ever growing list. We met some new characters that you can't help but wonder where they will fit in. Loved it and can't wait for more.
