Princess Aurelia Amberheart’s plan to challenge her aunt for the throne of the Westlands has proven disastrous. Now, the only way to avoid fighting her sister in a duel to the death is a marriage to the one male she can’t seem to live with or without: Finneas Ravencrest, her first love and the man who betrayed her. But even with the support of her loved-ones and the Winter Kingdom, the outcome of the trials is devastating, leaving Aurelia more desperate than ever to remove her tyrannical aunt from power. With the gods and goddesses active again after thousands of years and war looming on the horizon, Aurelia must enlist help from her friends and family to defeat Queen Selena and ensure a life free from oppression for the people of Iaselion. Brimming with red-hot tension, heart-pounding action, and a realm-changing battle, Fate of the Autumn Queen is the third and final installment in the unforgettable Autumn Queen Trilogy.
"True strength doesn't come simply because you're the strongest, or have trained the hardest. It comes when you think you have nothing left to give, but you keep fighting anyway."
Wow. Wow. Wow. The ending to The Autumn Queen trilogy definitely went out with a bang! Fate of the Autumn Queen now ranks as my favorite book of this series. The last book was left on a major cliffhanger and this one picks right back up with a huge gripping start. We are welcomed back with some familiar faces and some new ones sprinkled throughout. I was really happy to see the return of Shadow, the FMC's loyal pegasus, and Rowan, the loyal class clown. The pacing of the book was top notch and I loved how the author took us to some old places and some new. I really enjoyed seeing more of the gods, their personalities, and the trials the competitors were put through. I could not turn the pages fast enough throughout the story, I was literally trying to inhale it even with the anxiety it caused me! I will say with some of the not so thick plot points happening, there was a heavier amount of spice in this one, and I can understand why but the lovers seriously could not keep their hands of each other at times where it seemed like the were just both constantly in heat. If you are looking for a spicier romantasy that still stays true to the fantasy portion and does not overshadow the plot, this one's for you! I also was not a huge fan of some of the repetitiveness of the phrases used throughout the book, however the story still flows extremely well and there were no drops in pacing. I adored how much love and family strength the author poured into this epic conclusion. Savannah did a wonderful job with more of the world building, high stacks plot points and giving you all the feels! I highly recommended reading this trilogy if you are looking for a romantasy with a justice seeking stubborn but fierce fmc, fated mates, shifters, spice, love to hate back to love, possessive shadow daddy, and found family.
Thank you to the author for an arc of this book. All thoughts are my own.
Picking up right where book two left off!! Princess Aurelia Amberheart has never had an easy path. This time, she’s paying the price for every decision she’s ever made. Her plan to claim the throne ends in disaster, and the only way to save everything she’s fought for is to marry the one man she swore she’d never forgive: Finneas Ravencrest.
Aurelia’s growth throughout this series is everything to me. She becomes stronger, wiser and more confident in her own powers. She learns to trust and to lead. To fight for what matters most to her! Needless to say, she becomes an absolute badass!!
When Aurelia finally lets herself trust Finn again, and he stops running from what they both feel? It’s 🔥🔥🔥! Tender, raw and passionate in a way that feels completely earned after everything they’ve survived together. Finn’s care and devotion to Aurelia id undeniable and totally swoon worthy 😮💨 Even when she pushes him away, he never stops fighting for her.
The found family vibes? PERFECTION! I loved that even in the last book we still got to learn more about each character, making me fall in love with all of them all over again! Every every side character had their moment to shine, heart, humor and warmth that made this story everything! (Rowan will FOREVER be my favorite, the sweetest wolf shifter ever 🤭)
I adore Savannah’s writing! It’s immersive and easy to follow along! The banter through this had me laughing so hard! This finale is action packed and heartfelt. That ending? Completely satisfying. Fate of the Autumn Queen wraps up this trilogy with divine twists that had my heart in my throat, epic battles and a conclusion that feels both hard earned and hopeful!
Overall, I really, really enjoyed this series. Each book felt stronger than the last. The story deepened, the stakes got higher, and by the final book, everything just hit differently. The spice was absolutely spicing in that last book. It delivered.🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
That said, I did struggle a little with the FMC at times. She occasionally came across as somewhat whiny, and I felt like her personal development wasn’t as strong as it could have been. It didn’t ruin the story for me, but it was noticeable. I also would have loved a few mixed POV chapters sprinkled throughout from the MMC. Not constantly, but just enough to get inside their heads here and there.
One thing I absolutely loved was how the cheekiness of the cheeky characters never faded. Their personalities stayed consistent throughout the series.
This series genuinely made me laugh, and it definitely pulled at my heartstrings too.
One small thing that bugged me throughout the series was the use of nicknames. I understand the purpose behind them, but at times they felt a bit weird or unfitting. In certain scenes, I really think the full names would have carried more emotional weight.
The ending was perfect. Truly satisfying. I only wish that we had gotten a bit more closure for A and K, like where did they decide to live, as well as B and K, and the pack too.. I just wasn’t ready to let them go without knowing a little more about their futures.
Overall, though? A great series. It kept me entertained, invested, and emotionally engaged from start to finish, I’m glad I picked it up!!
Aurelia’s goal of challenging her aunt and take her crown hits a snag in the road. Due to rules regarding twins, she and her sister need to compete against one another until only one stands before challenging this aunt. Auri will do anything to save her sister and is willing to sacrifice herself for it, but Finn has another plan that Auri may not like, but will keep them both alive. Marry him.
He broke her heart and trust…marrying him is the last thing she wants to do. But her family is more important than her heart.
War is coming. Kingdoms and Gods alike take their sides and it will only end in bloodshed.
I’ve loved this series since page 1! The found family in this story is so key to me. Auri loves her family wholeheartedly and would do anything for all of them.
Auri and Finn’s relationship has been back and forth each installment and we really see that relationship put itself through the wringer this book. With their Divine Connection neither ever asked for, they work through all those barriers they’ve put between them.
There was definitely a point I thought I was going to have to have some words with miss Savannah over a certain character (iykyk) but she redeemed herself lol, so I’ll let it pass. 🤣
Spice 🌶️ picked back up this book and exceeded what we got in books 1&2. The passion these 2 have for one another oozes off the page!
I’m sad this is ending but so glad I had the chance to experience it! ❤️
Not gonna lie -- I read the first book in this trilogy because I knew the author's mom, and though romantasy is not my favorite genre I thought it would be fun to read a book written by someone with whom I had even a small connection. I was immediately drawn into a fantastic created world populated by such an array of interesting, unique characters and a main female character who somehow pulled me into her story and wouldn't let go of me. When that first book ended, leaving me hanging on the edge of my chair, I couldn't wait for the second one (which also left me wanting more!!) and knowing the third book would likely wrap up Aurelia's story, I had mixed emotions while waiting (No one ever wants a good story to end!). Book 3 did not disappoint, and while I was sad to leave that fantasy world, I can't think of any better way for the story to end. I plan to gift my set of books to a friend, because they don't deserve to just sit on my shelf, and I'm sure I haven't heard the last from this talented author. Thanks, Savannah, for widening my horizons, inviting me to a place I'd never been before but will remember for a long time!
It got me with the 8 different open door scenes. I can understand the first couple, but after that they could have just been closed door. I know they are now married, but I also don't need detail about all their "love".
I do really like Aurelila and Finn as a power couple though. They were made for each other.
I love the history and magic with twins. How they are godblood because the god of death and life (Aeron and Dafina) got together and had twins. Now all twins are tied to them, with some sort of powerful magic.
There is so much drama going on all the time. I ate it up!
And then the end with the battle of the Gods! And we have quite a few sad moments.
Rowan is my favorite characters by far! Sweet Rowan who is just the best friend... No Rowan!!! Wait...you goddess! You saved him! *literally my reaction reading the ending*
The last page was super cute and I don't think the author could have ended it better.
I really did love this last book, but I wish it cut back on the spice.

Review: Master piece! Aurelia Amberheart plan to challenge her aunt for the throne has fallen apart, the only way to avoid fighting her sister is to marry the one person who betrays her trust over and over again. Aurelia enlist the help of her friends and family to try to bring down Queen Selena before life as they know changes forever. Fate of the Autumn Queen is an emotional masterpiece, this isn’t just a story about kingdoms and taking crowns it’s a story about heart and courage. First the start of Heir of the Autumn Queen you follow the growth and life altering events of Aurelia, watching her character blossom is beautiful and definitely will have readers loving her that much more. Fate of the Autumn Queen is a reminder of why we read fantasy in the first place, to feel something beyond the ordinary.
What a spectacular ending to Finn and Auri’s story! Nothing like the impending doom of characters you love to keep you up into the wee hours of the morning, frantically turning pages to see what happens next.
This finale follows Auri as she’s faced with the impossible choice of dying or having her sister challenge Kas while stepping fully into her destiny as a Queen… but not of the Autumn Court?! From there, the tension builds each chapter raising the stakes and changing Auri’s life forever.
I absolutely love how Savannah balances moments of darkness with flickers of light. Auri’s connection with her found family and her fierce love for those she protects resonates so deeply. And the reconnection between Auri and Finn? Even in the middle of war, their love shines through.
The spice is delicious and perfectly placed. I’ll admit, I had a couple of minor heart attacks thinking Savannah might pull another “Ekko” moment on me at the end, but she pulled through. This book gets a solid 10/10 from me. 😂
If you haven’t picked up The Autumn Queen trilogy yet, do it now. You won’t regret it. The finale releases October 15th!

- okay let me just start with. HOLY SH1TTT!! 🤣🤣🤣 I am so overwhelmed right now so it took me a bit to post a review. I was consumed. The ups and downs and plot twists. The action. The love. It’s SO GOOD I’m obsessed with these books. I am honestly shocked there is not more hype because they are that freaking good. The MMC dear lord chefs kiss. In every book. Even the side characters 🔥🔥🔥🔥 the FMC is fierce started from not knowing anything to becoming the bad b she is. The MMC isn’t like any shadow daddy you have read and it’s so extremely refreshing to get consumed into something so different. Do not sleep on this trilogy! You won’t regret it! -Kerin Ray
This trilogy sure took us on a ride of constant battles. This book was no different by ending with a war. Lots of tragedy still along the way. There was a surprise with Kastle near the end (after he sees how strong love can be) but still sad to see him go. Ends in a HEA & several got what they deserved (what happened to Xavier was petty but funny/justified imo).
I’ve been lucky enough to have ARC read this trilogy from the first book and I think this book was my favorite one! Savannah did a phenomenal job delivering an epic conclusion to this story. If you’re looking for a traditional romantasy feel with a unique storyline and plot, this series is perfect!
Wow. What a ride! I loved every second of this book and of this series. Do yourself a favor and just give this series a read! Beautifully written! The perfect conclusion to the series!
What a beautiful conclusion to Auri and Finn’s story. This series was beautifully written and I loved the strong female characters. Write more, Savannah Stoltz!
SAVANNAHHHH ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! You really outdid yourself with this one. This is my favorite one of the series!! The politics. The war. The spice. Aurelia continuing to be the badass she is. Addie stepping into her badassery. I laughed & I full on sobbed. I was instantly in Savannah’s DMs when she decided to kill off someone in war…avoiding spoilers simply by not saying who it was…Just know I’m sending her my therapy bills after all of that🥲 The different locations throughout this book were completely immersive and fascinating. I loved the continued world building. Also? Not a single plot point slipped through. We love continuity 😌🤌🏻 Fated mates, badass FMCs putting men in their place, gods/goddesses, powers, touch her and 💀, war/politics/tyranny, found family — this trilogy has it all. Romantasy lovers….you don’t want to miss this trilogy. Bonus? It’s on KU🏃🏻♀️
