I received an ARC for an honest review. Side note: Love how this author puts her play list as the beginning of the book and it's also easy to find on Spotify.

I was anxiously waiting Rectify, the second book in MK Gilher's Return to Us Trilogy and it didn't disappoint. I did go back and reread the first book just to make sure I didn't forget any important details, expecting to not enjoy it quite as much since knew the story line. Let me just say...Revival was just as hot the second time.

It took me forever to write my review because I honestly am not sure how give it the justice it deserves. MK truly grabs your interest and manages to keep you enthralled to the end. I recommend reading them in order but this a must read trilogy for anyone who likes a sexy (little bit dark) romance with suspense.

In Rectify we learn more about both Ivy and Jacade's past and as expected we learn more details introduced from the first book. But the emotional ride it takes you on, and the direction it points...oh my. Not going into a lot of detail as you just have to experience the emotions from laughter, lust, anger and fist pumping moments for yourself. I expected a cliff hanger (as there is still another book) but MK had a knack for giving her books an ending while leaving you anxious for the next book.

I received this to read so here is my honest review. Ivy and Jacade are definitely one of the hottest couples I have read about, this just seems o get better and better. Their lives are thrown into more chaos and hidden secrets but how can they get through it in one piece and still have each other..... I really don't know who to love or hate at the moment, this story has so many twists to keep you on the edge and now left with a cliff hanger arghhhhhh.....love it

What a rush this was, I was sucked back in to Ivy &
Jacade world quickly and easily. I loved getting more of the history and all the adventure that came with it and at times found myself shouting out loud. I can't believe I have to wait AGAIN for the next instalment. It's one I don't want to end that's for sure!

SO...I finished this book last week but it has taken me a while to write my review because honestly I have no idea on what to write, so much happened and I do not want to give anything away.

In this book we found out a lot more about Ivy and I have a feeling we still don't know it all. Plus we see just how the Council works, the dynamics and the other parties that are involved. That being said...I love Dr. J and Ivy together, the sexy scenes are just that HOT and SEXY! There is nothing lacking in that department at all. The thing that threw me for a loop was the cliffhanger ending. I knew it was coming but yet, the way it ended...OH MY!

Have you ever read a book that's so damn good, so friggin intense you get lock jaw????!!!! That's really good reading material if the drama gives you lock jaw!

What in the H E double hockey sticks did I read????!!!! Oh. My. Gosh. Becky! Jacade and Ivy slay every idea, every expectation, every experience associated with the word relationship in Rectify! This second installment is by far the best of the two books although book one is totally awesome sauce!!!!

We have in Rectify the underhanded and gritty underbelly of the mafia (love it!), this on again off again love thing between Jacade and Ivy (their bed play is so hot it could heat up the state of Alaska for an entire year), and the mystery of who is Ivy (it's a wonder she's not enshrined in gold)!!!! Uh yeah....Ivy's identity gonna definitely blow you away and it's gonna definitely bring the madness in book three, Remedy. I'm ready for the madness....I've got my survival kit ready.....

Five gazillion stars because Jacade and Ivy have definitely found their very own space in my heart! Rectify knocked the ball out the field, court, the entire friggin hemisphere!

I have anticipated this book and was not let down! I could believe the roller coaster of emotions that I was on while reading about Jacade and Ivy. I loved how I got to learn more about Jacade and where he has come from. Find even more about who he is tells so much. Ivy is still as feisty as ever and she wants answers. She is determined to get them from anyone and everyone. The story has evolved in so many ways. All of the characters have their own stories. Jacade and Ivy are as hot and steamy as always. My heart was racing and I didn't want to put the book down.

This is a fantastic series! Enjoy the roller coaster of emotions that you are about to experience. Fantastic job, MK! Keep up the good wonderful job pulling your readers in from page one.

In REVIVAL: Return To Us Book 1, we meet Ivy Summers & Dr. Jacade Jordan, the lead characters of this fantastic new trilogy by Author MK Gilher. The stories are told in both of their POVs. Ivy works as an office manager of a plastic surgery center owned by her Uncle, Dr. Bernard Heldman and his wife & nurse, Aunt Helen. Dr. Jacade Jordan is an associate in the practice and he's been in love with Ivy ever since he saved her life on an operating table 3 years ago but he's keep it secret, until now...

Rectify is the second book of the Return to Trilogy and holy smokes this book delivered a powerful and yet amazing continuation. It took a while to write this review because I just did not know what to write. Seriously, I was just stuck on words and just could not articulate them at all. Rectify is truly a compelling and addictive story that I devoured this book like a person possessed lol. It was that GOOD.

In book 1, there was so many secrets and I was truly happy that some of the secrets are unshed in Rectify. We find out more about Ivy, more about Jacade and the Council. A lot of parts had my jaw drop and gasping because you will be shocked. It will seriously answer some of the questions you had from book 1. dI do not want to say a lot about this book. All I know everyone needs to read this book because it is amazing. No lie. You will need a lot of wine for this book because the amount of sexual tension, drama and action is so explosive. I seriously needed tequila for this book. There is so much suspense in this book that I was just blown.

Ivy and Jacade are what I call a couple with perfect chemistry that is so hot that It can melt Antarctica. I had me fanning my lady bits trust me. Wow, their chemistry is so explosive and just simply captivating. I love these two characters a lot because their chemistry is so believable. Of course this book ends with a mind blowing cliffhanger that makes you beg for the next book, I cannot wait for the next book.

Ok, this one was just as bad in a good way as the first one. These cliffhangers are killer. If you can’t stand them, don’t start this series. As far as cliffs go, this author is 2 for 2. But, I’ll be damned if I can stop reading. This series has become my new drug. Once I pick it up, I can’t put it down until the last page. I love this author!

Rectify 2nd book in this series. Danger, secrets and twists will have you on a wild nail biting ride.... Ivy and Jacade have such hot chemistry together and the way Jacade is with Ivy makes him super sexy; especially how  sweet, loving and extremely protective of Ivy. Rectify is an uncommonly strong sequel that delivers more than a simple plot continuation to resolve the delicious suspense served up in Revival. I would have been happy with what I expected (a slow reveal of the backstory explaining Ivy's and Jacade's mysterious shared history). I was supremely satisfied with what I got instead: a much quicker reveal of unanswered questions from Revival and the layering on of additional, delectable, complexity.

These new layers of complexity reminded me a bit of how I felt while watching "A Game of Thrones". You are tricked, at the beginning, into focusing on plots and characters that are compelling enough on their own, but later discover that something so much bigger is happening and that you are in the middle of a more intricate and satisfying story than you had ever imagined. By the end of the book, instead of just caring about Ivy and Jacade, I found myself deeply invested in an extended cast of characters and their vividly illustrated world.

One of the most interesting elements of this series that we discover in Rectify is the "non-mafia" twist on the mafia sub-genre. Though the organization we are exposed to is involved in organized crime, it is not a traditional mafia organization. This detail creates additional intrigue by building an environment of slightly different motivations, allegiances, and structure than we would normally see alongside a mafia plot. And the cliffhanger at the end is so unacceptably unresolved that you won't be able to stop yourself from rolling directly into third book.

Dr. Jordan has just moved Christian Grey down to number 2 for my book boyfriend list. This book has driven me crazy Ivy and Jacade are Bonnie and Clyde. Jacade has had all he can take with Viktor messing with him and Ivy. And everyone knows that you do not f*^k with Ivy and live to talk about. Ivy has held her own in this book and I love the way she and Jacade are with each other. The comedy it still great and the sex is so fucking hot. Jacade knows when to push Ivy and he does push but Ivy pushes right back. The twists that come your way will have you jumping up and down and screaming at the same time. This book will give you some insight to how Ivy and Jacade met and more clues come out to why things are happening. Get a glass of wine hell get the whole bottle you will need it and enjoy this book. Make sure you are downloading the third book while you are reading this one trust me it's that good. You will thank me for it I promise the books are that good.

This is not a stand alone. Please read the first book in the series prior to starting this one as this book picks up where the first one ended.

This is the continuation of Jacade and Ivy's story. Their relationship continues to grow throughout the book. We learn more secrets about Aunt Helen and Uncle Bernard. We also learn a lot more about
Jacade.

I will warn that this is not the end of their story and you may scream bloody murder at M.K. Gilher when you get there but I absolutely love her writing style, the world she has created, the character development and continued growth throughout the story, and I was so sucked into this story I did not want it to end.

Do yourself a favor and one click this series now. This is an amazing book. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I received this book as an ACR for an honest review. This is book 2 of the trilogy, so there is a cliffhanger to flow into the last book. Oh God... could not put this book down. There is so much going on in this story. Dr. Jordan is so hot and he has so much going on he is trying to fix so he can be with Ivy and get their happy ever after. Expect heart stopping scene that take your breath away and leave your heart racing. I highly recommend this book to all romance readers and those who like a little dark with their romance. I do recommend reading them in order since this books starts where book 1 left off. Must read trilogy. :)

Well let's just say that Dr. Jacade Jordan is the perfect example of SEX ON A STICK.
In Rectify, Return to Us Trilogy, book 2), we learn a lot more about the man that has stolen many a heart. We start to learn what makes the good doctor tick, with the help of his sexy brother who comes into the scene in book 2.
Jacade and Ivy become even closer as their past starts to come into the scene and Ivy starts to learn the truth.
Book 3, is going to blow us all away.
I AM TRULY IN LUST WITH DR JORDAN AND CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE.

This book is as good as the first one, after the insident at the club with Viktor, Jacade wants to find him and kill him for good. Viktor goes into hidding until his men manage to take Jacade by force with the help of Kara who is Viktor twin sister. When Bernie can't find Jacade he has no choice but to tell Ivy to see if she would have any idea were Viktor could have taken him. Ivy gets this crazy idea and goes to try to save Jacade alone and winds up being in trouble herself. After getting away Jacade rushes Ivy to the hospital for an emergency surgery. can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Oh my god

Waiting for this book for so long. I laughed at times and was awed at Jacade and Ivy finally admitting to their love. Secrets reveled, forgiveness given and blood shed. Can love conqure all? Will Jude be able to do his magic ? What does the future hold? MK wow, once again superb book. The next one can't get here fast enough. I think I'm more in love with Jacade in this book than I was in the first one if that's possible. And Jude, well can't wait to hear more about him. Amazing series so far, if you haven't read it start with Revival, you won't be disappointed.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This book picked right up where the first one left us hanging. It was a fast paced book and a lot of development happened. Lots of the questions from the first book were answered but new questions have been brought up. I jumped up and cheered at the end when Jacade and Ivy took care of a problem (no spoilers here). I also jumped up and screamed that she can't leave us hanging like this, but alas we are. I am eagerly awaiting the third book to see how this trilogy is wrapped up!!

Guns, blood, and a sex g-d. Gilher knows how to bring the suspense and dial up the heat.

With secrets threatening to become exposed Ivy finds herself questioning the people she trusts the most. With no one willing to provide answers, Ivy is forced to seek answers on her own. But will uncovering the truth abate or leave her with more questions than answers.

Jacade knows he can't keep the truth from Ivy much longer. Yet, does he really need to tell her the truth if it keeps her safe? Everything he's done while in the council has been for her. But, some acts are unforgivable....

I was so excited to start this book, book one ended with a killer cliffhanger and there were so many unanswered questions. This book does not disappoint. Jacade is still a dominating hottie and Ivy is spunky trying to find her place in the world. She isn't always the most self confident but she has killer shoes! LOL Viktor is back and brings in the drama and Jacade's mafia ties cause him personal problems but hopefully they can make it work. I already bought book 3 and I can't wait to find out the ending to this great trilogy!!

Wow! I read this book in one sitting...I could not put it down. I'm writing my review as Remedy, the third book, is downlding on my kindle. So many questions, almost no answers, and so many twists. Each question that is answered only causes more questions. I love it. I can't wait to have the full story. Jacade is one hott Alpha! Dominate, possessive, loving, demanding, and would die to protect his Ivy. Ivy is a tough kick ass girl that will do what it takes to get answers and keep her man. Love the twist of this story. Hott ass doctors and Mafia....what more could you ask for?

I couldn't wait to read Rectify after reading Revival and it didn't disappoint. It still grabbed you with the air of mystery, that I couldn't read it fast enough. I had to know what was happening with Ivy and Jacade beside the hot steamy sex, as the book envolves you can feel that something big is to come. This ends with a cliffhanger, I can't wait for Remedy.

This was very good, but I think I liked book one only slightly better. Not sure why as this too had everything I love in a book. I'm thinking it dragged a little bit reaching the halfway point. But character development was great, storyline was very good, kept me wanting to keep reading. Cliffhanger was just okay for me, predictable IMO. But overall a very good book.

After reading Revival, I couldn't wait to read Rectify to see where the story was going to take us. We learn more about the characters, secrets they hold and many questions that we need answers to. This book is full of action, suspense, secrets, twists and turns, loyalty, love and passion.
I love this book and looking forward to reading book 3 to see how Ivy and Jacade journey is going to end.
