Indy Valentine has done it again! The way I loved this book y’all! Another well deserved⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. This one had me obsessing and swooning even more than collie! I just love how her writing just captivates you and doesn’t let go!

Stetson Cole- what a hunk of a mature man! This man meets Cove Davenport on his private jet, she’s an elite flight attendant covering for one of his regular staff and he’s immediately taken with her.. she’s feisty and beautiful and although he knows she’s a lot younger than him he can’t help but be intrigued with her. Stetson is so intrigued he just so happens to pursue her, to the bar at their layover, to then maybe or maybe not crash a double date she goes on- oh and he turns up in Chicago to just spend time with her!
Now. Cove bless her heart, she’s not easily convinced… let’s just say she’s got some Daddy issues… she doesn’t do relationships and is more than happy to just spend a night with someone and move on- let me tell you the first paragraph in this book had me howling!
But Stetson persists and his hard work pays off because Cove realises that he’s not like all the other entitled men she serves on flights. He cares, deeply. He’s invested in learning about her and getting to know her on a deeper level. This man was a whole lot of big, hot, older, cowboy- swoon dog energy! And he happens to be turning the big 5 0… and Cove and Stetson are reunited due to a link between them and her father- who by the way is the biggest piece of trash you won’t want to meet!
The chemistry between these two is fire, and swoony Stetson knows he has to keep communication open if he wants to win Cove’s heart which he does in the sweetest possible way, which gives Cove hop that he’s the real deal- which indeed he is! The care he puts in to making her feel seen is incredible, such a great read.

💭: Indy Valentine is truly a literary artist. I can’t get over how this felt so different from her other books, yet still had me obsessing, swooning, and handing out another well-deserved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I’ll do my best to form a coherent review… but honestly my brain is scrambled because I already want to reread it.
The emotional depth of Cove and Stetson’s love was stunning. From the very beginning there was this undeniable connection, and it felt so clear that they were made for each other. When I feel that deeply invested in a couple, it’s game over for me.
Cove is internally chaotic while somehow never letting it fully show on the outside — and I loved her for that. Her unhinged thoughts, her raw honesty, the quiet power she had over Stetson… dreamy.
And Stetson? The simplest kind of man in the best way. Hard-working, steady, loyal to his family. He’s not someone who expresses himself easily with words, but he’s completely captivated by Cove. And the way they learn to communicate with each other — beyond words — was electric. Cove never pushed him to be someone he wasn’t; she saw that he was already giving her every part of himself.
I couldn’t stop highlighting quotes. Every page felt like it held a line that stole my breath.
I love love. And my god did I love Cove and Stetson’s love.

Cove Davenport is the woman I want to be when I grow up. And I’m literally in the middle of 30s. She is so strong, independent, and takes no bullshit. She is used to men letting her down and she will not continue to let that happen.
Stetson Cole is the ultimate cowboy who is just wanting someone to grow old worth. All the money that he has doesn’t bring happiness. He was beginning to think he might just die alone and rich. Until Cove appears in his life and that woman makes him want things he’s ever dreamed of having.
Omg these two together are just fireworks. The banter, playfulness, sexiness that erupts when they’re together. Chef’s kisses. It was such an amazing and enjoyable read! Stet is the man of my dreams. The way that man made sure that Cove is loved and no one will ever disrespect her. Cove deserves all the love Stet gives her. That ending was pure sweetness.
With someone who has had a complicated relationship with her dad like Cove did, I could relate. It’s not as bad as Cove, but feeling abandoned and not loved was relatable. Although my relationship became the opposite of Cove, there were moments in there that hit close to home.

And then we have Cove… and honestly at this point I might want her more than Stetson! She’s such a powerhouse of a woman. Cove is constantly taking care of the people she loves, especially her mom, and there’s something so admirable about the way she carries that responsibility while still being strong, capable, and completely her own person.
Cove works as a flight attendant and is no stranger to successful men. She’s seen their charm, their tactics, and all the little games they like to play. Because of that, she’s built some pretty solid walls and has zero interest in getting caught up in that world. ✈️
That is… until she meets Stetson.
I’ll be honest, significant age gaps usually aren’t my favorite trope. But this one was written so dang well that I didn’t even notice it at all! If that’s not a testament to how incredible Indy’s writing is, I don’t know what is.

Cove was an incredible female character. She was doing so much to save her family and it was so beautifully heartbreaking. She has a truly beautiful heart, and I felt myself grow angry with her for what she had to tolerate.
This book had me longing, begging, blushing and laughing out loud. I experienced so many different emotions. This is truly a reminder that If you haven’t yet picked up an Indy Valentines book, girl get to it. 🫶🏽

Stetson and Cove.. there’s a million things I could say but the most important would be this is probably one of the best age gaps that I have read. I really loved their relationship and the build up to it. They love each other so well and so hard. It truly is the definition of “if he wanted to, he would”. It made my heart completely full. Plus their bedroom chemistry is completely off the charts and I absolutely loved seeing that side of both of them. It was like they were able to fully be themselves and they were just so perfect for one another.
This book is absolutely nothing like Indy usually writes.. and damn was it so special to read and such a phenomenal switch. I really enjoyed getting to see how she was able to mix Miami nightlife and Texas cowboy together into perfection. Cove is over men her age and their immature ways. Stetson knocks her off her feet and even though she tries to fight there connection, Stetson is up for the challenge.
This story and plot in this book is so unique and such a nice change of pace. I loved the added conflict plot twists that Indy incorporated and it made the story completely addicting. The spice is chefs kiss as well, cowboy Stetson has a filthy mouth and I am here for it. 😮💨

Stetson Cole just stole my heart and I don’t think I’m getting it back. Highly successful Texan cowboy - surely that right there is enough to get you going! - meets absolutely gorgeous Cove Davenport on one of his business trips as she’s the flight attendant on his private jet. There’s an instant connection and let me tell you, the way those sparks fly? You need to be wearing fire safe clothes not to burn in their orbit. Cove is fiery, feisty and formidable, as independent as the come with all the sass, and Stetson just won’t take no for an answer - cue swooning. That little matter of Stetson being her father’s best friend, yeah, not even a blip on Stetsons radar, nothing was going to stand in the way of a man obsessed.

ARC reader here! First of all, Cove? Badass and fierce. I love her. There wasn’t a thing she wouldn’t do for her mom. Her support system (Mom, Betsy, and Kimber) were great. Betsy being team Stetson was amazing. The friendship between Betsy, Kimber, and Cove was great. Also, I love the names! Stetson. He was fantastic. Everything about him was perfect, and he was perfect for her. He was so sweet, patient, thoughtful and supportive. Even when he was mad at her, he still defended her. Perfect! What he did for her mom just made him even better. I like how we got to see how different Cove and Stetson’s lives were and how they came together to make their lives together. The story has its complexities, but it stayed simple. A light read, but a great one!!

I’m torn, because this book took me WAY TOO LONG to finish for no reason? Maybe I just had a busy week or I was not in a good mental state to be reading a book, because I had a hard time staying focused, so I don’t want that to affect this review.
Overall, I did really enjoy the story.
Stetson Cole is a man on a mission and I am so here for it.
He was obsessed & the way he showed he wanted Cove was so incredible to read.
Cove Davenport is such an amazing FMC.
Strong, determined, independent. She took the situation she was dealt and didn’t let it negatively affect her.
These two were hot. And I loved that they weren’t looking for each other, but found one another anyway.

This was such a fun read, and literally the perfect palate cleanser. Short, sweet and spicy!
I really enjoyed both Cove and Stetson as characters. Whilst she initially had the willpower to turn down a rich, hot, older cowboy (which I definitely would not have), I really enjoyed seeing how her walls gradually dropped down and their relationship developed. And props for her being a lover of Pride & Prejudice!!!!

Im not gunna lie this might be my favorite read so far in 2026! It's most definitely on my top 10 faves of all time! Loved Cove's character! She's fiery and feisty. Love me an older man, age gap romance. The spice was spicin'. Cannot wait for the craziness Betsy will give us in book 2!! Well done!
