Love Struck the 3rd book in the Serendipity Series, this could read as a stand alone book but I'm definitely going back to read the other two books. The story starts with a a prologue by Cupid. He's not happy with the craziness that has gone on in the little town of Serendipity Falls so he's decided to wash his hands and not shoot that arrow of love. But does he? Hmmm...Ms Wilton has written a sweet sexy romance. Kyle and Samantha, neither are interested in a long term commitment, are attracted to each other but want no strings. Thinking that maybe a night to get each other out of their systems so they can become friends will work. Gold fever has brought some unsavory people to this little town. Being there for each other brings Kyle and Sam closer but is it love or Cupid? A read to cozy up on the couch with. Valentine's Day is coming, Love Struck is the perfect book to celebrate true love!

What a lovely and very sweet book. Love Struck is the third and final book in the Serendipity Falls series. Although i did not read the first two this book can be read as a standalone. Serendipity falls is a place to fall in love. In this book Kyle a co owner of the local bar falls head over heels for newcomer Samantha. Samantha moves to town to help out her brothers with a new hosing development and to get a new start on life with her son after a horrible marriage. Samantha struggles with herself trying to stay concentrated on the housing only and getting her son to Serendipity Falls. But Cupid had other plans. I adored the characters in this book and look forward to going back to read the first two in the series.

I was gifted a copy of this book from the Author for my honest opinion.

Oh Love Struck is so amazing. I loved falling in love with Serendipity Falls and these two people Kyle and Samantha fight the Love Bug. It's so cute to watch them tip toe around each other. Samantha is there to open up a new housing development for her brothers. She has a son who is her main focus and the last thing she needs is bar owner Kyle trying to step on her toes. He's the last single guy and the women in town flock by the bus loads to get to him. But as he and Samantha come into counter his attraction to her is immediate. When Samantha is threatened it's Kyle who steps in to help out at a "friend". Can the two be just friends or will their hearts connect into something more? Find out in Serendipity Falls if Love Struck really happens.

I loved this story. It was such a nice light, romantic read about two people falling in love who didn't think they wanted to be in love. I fell in love with Kyle and Samantha and Serendipity Falls. This is the third and final book in this series. It can definitely be read as a stand-alone. After reading it though I am anxious to read the other two and revisit Serendipity Falls.

If you are looking for a light, romantic read that pulls on your heartstrings this is the book for you.

Another great love story.

I just love this series. I was hooked from book 1. I hope there are many more stories in the series. They all are great feel good love stories. I just couldn't stop reading them until I finished every last one. I received an ARC of this book, which in no way influenced my opinion of this book.

This was sweet, sexy romance that ties up the Serendipity Falls series. Although this is the third book in the series, it can be read as a stand-alone, although I for one will be going back and reading the first two!

Kyle and Samantha have both sworn off relationships. Sam has just come out of a bad marriage and is moving to Serendipity Falls to start a new life for her and her young son, who is her priority. Kyle has become gun-shy of any female that comes in to Serendipity Falls since they all have a marriage agenda, and being a single guy in town makes him a prime target for some very aggressive advances.

Ever since the news stories about the “love bug” in Serendipity Falls, the single ladies are arriving by the bus load to find themselves a husband, even if it takes restraints and ear-pulling to get the men down the aisle. Things have certainly gotten out of control, and love seems to be the forgotten part of the equation for these husband-hunters.
“Don’t they have any idea about love? You can’t force it. It’s about giving, not getting. And it comes from real emotions, from the heart. It can’t be contrived, or bullied, or corralled. Until they know that, they don’t deserve that kind of happiness.”

What neither Kyle nor Sam is prepared for is the overwhelming attraction they feel towards one another when they meet. And when Sam finds herself threatened by some gold prospectors who have come to town to cash in on the gold store that has been discovered behind the falls, Kyle’s protective instincts kick in. As Kyle and Sam try to keep to an “almost friends” relationship, they both soon realize that fighting their attraction is a losing game, but are they ready to commit to more than a physical relationship? Sam has her son to consider, and Kyle’s not sure he wants to take a chance on opening himself up.

This was such a fun read, and I loved the hearing Cupid’s take on the town of Serendipity Falls. That little bit of magic adds a nice touch to the story, and it should be fun to see what happens when Cupid strikes out to Vegas in the next series! This is definitely a must read for anyone who likes a bit of sexy with their sweet happy ever after!

I so want to visit Serendipity Falls! This was such a great read. Samantha just wants a place to succeed and provide a life for her and her son. She finds this in Serendipity Falls with the project her brothers have started. She stops in a bar to try and figure things out when she finds her hotel room is gone and she isn't sure what to do. There she bumps into Kyle and Serendipity works its' magic, although neither one of them is ready to admit it and neither one wants a relationship. But when danger comes knocking, will they change their minds? Great series!

This was a cute story. There were some moments of humor. However, I felt as if the writing of the relationship was somewhat forced. It felt as if the characters were saying, "Hey, we must be in love because that's what happens in this town." The writing didn't feel natural. There were some grammatical errors, i.e. "threw" for "through" etc.

This book was a riot, so much fun. I am suffering a bit of a book hangover this morning because I stayed up to finish it. A "love bug" is on the loose in Serendipity Falls, Kyle and Samantha are dead set against falling prey to this "love bug." Can they resist when everyone around them is lovey dovey? This book mixes passion, suspense and humor in a great way. Totally loved it!

Samantha arrives in the town of Serendipity to act as a real estate agent for the development being built by her brothers. She encounters Kyle who has no intention of settling down but when he meets her he starts to question that stance. Is it love or the spell of Serendipity?

Cupid Strikes
Things are going crazy in Serendipity Falls. Men are swarming to the place in search for gold and women are arriving by busloads in search of husbands. Kyle, a single guy, is busy keeping all the women at bay. He can’t even go to Costco without being accosted by a herd of females. He has no intention of getting married.

Samantha, unable to find a place to stay, wanders into a bar in town owned by Kyle and Devon, his brother. After being married to a jerk, she’s looking for a new life for her and her son, not a husband. Devon makes arrangements with his wife for Sam to stay at their B&B. As Kyle and Sam chat, waiting for Devon to lead her to the B&B, they both suddenly feel warm and feverish. Kyle fears they’ve been bitten by the love bug and he tries to avoid Sam.

When trouble hits at the model homes Sam hopes to sell, Kyle comes to her rescue. They attempt to keep their relationship as just friends, but the burning desire between them continues to grow. Will Kyle and Sam let down their guard long enough to fall in love?

This is a well-developed, sweet and hot romantic story with a unique “love bug” myth. The author, Patrice Wilton, has created lovable characters and brought them to life with smart dialogue. Kyle’s dog, Mogul, added a fun touch to this enjoyable read. Highly recommended!

Better than the pervious novel. Loved that these characters had more life than Mila and Chase. The plot was more intriguing as well. The HEA for Kyle was well deserved, although women on the prowl in Serendipity Falls, grabbing at men and ambushing them is certainly stuff of an author's imagination.

***Taken from my book blog at http://booknerd0116.blogspot.com/ ***

Since I had not previously read the first two books in the series, I wasn't really sure what I was getting into upon beginning this story. I also was new to reading Wilton's work. These factors had both pros and cons for me in reading Love Struck. The pro is that I had no preconceived notions as to the style of the writer or books so I went in completely open minded. The con is that I had NO idea what I was in for upon opening the book and finding out that I was reading about a "cupid" in a town called Serendipity Falls that is giving everyone the "love bug." No joke.

The story begins from Cupid's perspective and talks about the how the town has found gold and now people from all over are flocking there to get rich and fall in love. The towns people begin feeling feverish and ill and before they know it, they're falling in love and getting married. Women are coming to Serendipity by the droves to find Mr. Right, fall in love, and get married now.

Kyle owns a bar with his brother and in walks sweet Samantha, looking for a place to stay while she figures out where she's going to live and work. Kyle helps her out but then can't get her out of his mind. Samantha just wants to start her life over in Serendipity with her son, but can't stop thinking about Kyle. Guess why? Yep, it's that love bug! Duh!

The story line is very predictable and unfortunately the love making scene was less than hot. In fact, it was one paragraph of very chaste kissing, exploring, and then boom, it was on to the next chapter. I guess we were supposed to use our imagination.

I didn't hate the story but it definitely was not my cup of tea. The premise, from the start, threw me off because it was a ridiculous idea and unbelievable to me. It was cute and sweet but....that's about all.

This is an awesome story, I loved it! I didn't realize this was the 3rd and final book of a series, so now I want to go back and read the 1rst two books. It has everything included in this story, family, friendship, hardships and terrifying times, and love. This book is well written and easy to read...
