Willa Wilde writes steamy, high-stakes mafia romance where dangerous men fall hard and never let go. Expect morally gray anti-heroes, fierce heroines, and twists that will leave your jaw on the floor and your Kindle overheating.
I love finding new-to-me mafia romance books to read. And when there’s a secret baby trope in it, I’m drawn to it even more. Willa Wilde’s Mafia Devil’s Secret Baby was romance, spice, some suspense, and a twist all wrapped together.
I like it when a story has a time jump that is not too long or too short. In this case, Nina goes from discovering she’s pregnant by Alessio to her six-year-old son having his first bout of sickness. The story also showcases Nina's strength and her willingness to do anything for her son, which includes dancing unknowingly at Alessio’s club.
Willa Wilde starts Mafia Devil’s Secret Baby, fast and furious style. The spice was quite good—detailed from start to the end. I enjoyed the Mafia plot as it connects well to Alessio’s life, both past and present, as well as Nina’s. I appreciate how this was woven into the story. It showed Alessio’s vulnerability, which made me like him even more.
Thank you to Author Willa Wilde for the gifted copy. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Kept me Involved! The story starts out with Nina running from danger in the restaurant in the casino in Vegas where she works. She recognizes danger when it walks in the door and she knows it's looking for her. Years in foster care made her hyper alert to the dangers ! Alessio spots her running through the casino and decides to help her when she gets trapped in the alley behind that building. He WAS going to just help her and let her go but when he finds out her troubles, he surprises them both with the outrageous offer of one night in his bed ! He's hot and sexy, she finds herself attracted so she goes with this stranger; something she's never done before ! Nina's ex-husband Eric Newell, is vicious, a wife beater and his trouble just keeps following her. She hopes this is the end of it ! Then 7 years later, we see Nina with her son, Austin a cute six year old who all of a sudden collapses while playing soccer. He's adorable, smart, funny and she will do anything for him !!! So when her best friend Keisha, reluctantly offers a job idea, Nina follows up on working at a strip club...stripping ! She needs the money for her son.
Wouldn't you just know it? Alessio no longer works the casino but now it's the very strip club that she is working at now. Things get extremely tense as she learns her "craft" and tries to hide Austin from Alessio. Alessio has his standards for the strip club but so does Nina. They also can't keep their hands off each other either; although they do try ! She's tough and I really liked how she expressed herself. She was gentle with her friend Keisha and Austin but tough with Alessio because heck, she survived foster care. She might get scared but she's been alone for a very long time, she can handle just about anything ! It will be danger when the Russians make their moves against the mafia but Alessio ISN'T alone. He's got friends ! Intensity ramps up even more towards the end, there will be some Mafia murders. Great Epilogue ! Some dangers remain because of the Russian Bratva but that's for another day.
What a steamy, heart-warming delicious story… Seven years ago, Nina paid off her ex-husband’s debt by giving her body to Alessio for one night; she was never planning to see him again. What she didn't realize is that she was left with a part of him. Secret babies are one of my favorite tropes and when it is written by one of my new fav authors, I am all in. Nina is a fierce protector of their son; she is so strong and resilient. Alessio is ruthless and morally gray as he enforces punishments quickly and without hesitation. Upon learning that he has a son, he becomes next level swoon-worthy. This story had all my favorite elements: humor, mystery, suspense, excitement and romance. The book had me whispering " Oh no she didn't " 😳 and shouting “o my gosh, o my gosh” and shrieking “YES” at the top of my lungs😊! It was an action-filled page turner with a lot of toe-curling spice and the chemistry between Nina and Alessio was extremely HOT🔥!! You get invested in them right away and it is a nail biting, panty melting journey all the way to their happily ever after. I hope you'll consider reading it! I can't wait to see what other stories Willa Wilde has coming next. I'm hoping we might get to read a story about Matteo and Luca🙏🏽😊. I was happy to receive an advance review copy of Mafia Devil’s Secret Baby for free, and I am leaving my honest review voluntarily.
This book completely surpassed my expectations! It was a truly fantastic story of Alessio, Nina, and Austin, masterfully written with so much depth and nuance. The author packed this with some of the best tropes: mafia, one-night stand, accidental pregnancy, surprise child, exotic dancer, single mom, and a protective MMC. I also appreciated the thoughtful and believable representation of Nina's PTSD from her previous marriage, which made her character feel so real, as well as the depiction of Austin’s sickness. The core of the story is how fate brings Alessio and Nina back together after a steamy one-night encounter. I was captivated by their journey. The author did a superb job of showing Alessio’s fear of love and emotional vulnerability due to his past and how his feelings for Nina and his son ultimately change him. This is an action-filled page-turner that will have you gasping and cheering! The chemistry between Nina and Alessio is extremely HOT and the romance is filled with toe-curling spice. You get invested in them right away, and it’s a nail-biting journey to their hard-earned happily-ever-after. If you enjoy a book with elements of humor, mystery, suspense, excitement, and a lot of steam, I highly recommend this adult romance. I can’t wait to see what Willa Wilde writes next!
A new author for me I really enjoyed this book. Nina is a very poor young divorcee who finally got rid of her abusive ex husband when his debts find her instead. Two loan sharks try roughing her up for the money she doesn’t even owe when their boss Alesia catches them and taking an instant attraction to nina offers her a deal. One night of sex to wipe debt clean. She takes the offer despite it not being her responsibility and ends up pregnant. 7 yrs later her son develops a health issue and she’s forced to become a stripper to afford his medical costs but ends up in a club Alesia owns. The story goes from there with them clashing yet finding the chemistry is still fire between them, alessio accidentally seeing her son and seeing he looks just like him and doing the math. Secret tests, past threats, hit times, past childhood traumas, insecurities, trust issues and more raise between them as they try to navigate the mine field of life between them. Each must learn to face and deal with their personal issues at the same time as the current situation as truths are revealed and danger comes too close. Excellent characters fully detailed and believable great world building. Lots of emotions thru the plot.

The night her ex-husbands debt collectors had her cornered, he saved her. He promised to fix the problem for one night with her. They spent that night together and then he left, she never expected to see him again. Weeks later she realized that he left something behind when he left and she was carrying his baby. She made sacrifices for her child, to do everything she could for him. She didn't expect to ever run into his father again and when he walks into their life and realizes what he lost he is determined to hold on. This one was a little all over the place for me. I love a good morally gray man who has his own set of morals but he was challenging for me. I didn't love his proposition, and I didn't love that he was ok initially with her working at the club. It felt a little cheap and I wanted him to step up quicker. I did like him much more when he did and a man that goes all in for his kid will give me butterflies every time.

4 ⭐️ Read At first I didn’t like Alessio and how he treated Nina but getting more into the book I liked him. I loved the romance between Nina & Alessio❤️❤️ I also liked Nina’s best friend Keshia and how she helped with Nina’s Son Austin and was an amazing friend to Nina too. I felt sad for Nina and the health problems Austin was having in the book. 📕 And I also loved Austin in the book too. I liked both of Nina and Alessio’s friends in this book. I loved how Alessio protected Nina and Austin in the book. I also loved Alessio’s Nickname for Nina was “Temptress” in the book. Didn’t like Amber in the book 📖 I also loved how Alessio protected and respected all the women who worked for him in this book 📕. I didn’t like Eric Nina’s ex husband and what he did to Nina in the book. Loved how strong she was in this book even though hard times in her life and also kept going too. I was so happy when Nina told Alessio about Austin and that Austin got his surgery and went great and I was also glad they got to have a second shot at love together. This book has twists and turns through out this book. And I also didn’t like the bad guys in this book and what they did to Nina and Austin. And I was so happy that Alessio found them and saved them from the bad guys. And i am so happy they got an happy ending together. And I can’t wait to read other books by this author. And I also recommend this book. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This one, though? It was beautifully written and packed with some of my favorite tropes — one night stand, accidental pregnancy, surprise child, mafia, exotic dancer, single mom, protective MMC, and even a thoughtful sickness representation.
I love how fate brought Alessio and Nina back together. The author did such a great job showing Alessio’s fear of love and emotional vulnerability because of his father — and how he slowly learned to let people in. It was written with so much depth and nuance.
Nina’s PTSD from her previous marriage was portrayed so believably and with so much care. It made her character feel so real.
This is my second book by this author, and I’ll say it surpassed my expectations, especially since the first book didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
I can’t say enough about how good this book is — you really need to read it. It’s a 4.5-star read, and I highly recommend it.
What happens when a casino waitress is rescued by the boss of two toughs who are looking to collect $50k that her in-the-wind ex-husband owes them? He offers to write off the debt for one night with him. The dirty dog. He knows she has no other way to pay the debt. She accepts and they spend a hot night together, splitting up in the morning.
Seven years later she unknowingly gets a job as a dancer at his strip club in order to pay for her son's expensive heart prescriptions and medical bills. This brings her face to face with her son's unsuspecting father.
Mix in a mob war with the Bratva, her son needing expensive heart surgery, and the return of her ex in an unexpected way with their rekindled relationship and you have a well written, steamy story that I highly recommend.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "MAFIA DEVIL'S SECRET BABY" I thouroughly enjoyed this interesting, entertaining, intriguing wild emotional journey the characters take you on. Alessio DeLuca helped Nina years ago one hot sizzling night he'd take care of her ex-husbands to some loan sharks he owed money to. Nina ended up being with baby after their hot night she hasn't seen him, she ends up dancing up in his club to make money because her son is sick & Alessio doesn't know about him. Alessio see's Nina again now her boss he doesn't want one night of passion he wants it all, but what will happen when he finds out her secret. Will Alessio & Nina get a HEA when the truth comes out a page turner you don't want to miss, you so won't be disappointed.
Good grief, this book is horrendously bad. Nothing makes sense and the writing is so juvenile.
However, it’s hilariously bad. Like, of course the doctor can figure out from one test in thirty seconds the very specific heart defect in a character. Totally within reason.
I was really bored through most of it - it was marketed to me as a dark romance but other than the guy being a mafia dude, there was nothing dark about it. Smut is mediocre at best, and rather bland in the motions.
At least it was a quick read. I probably won’t attempt any more of this author’s work due to just how unrealistic and silly it is.
I'll admit im not a fan of books about women who hides from their father's. But I guess the cover convinced me to pick this one up. Anyway to cut the long story short. I hated it I couldn't stand the fmc. She came across as narcissistic, full of herself and immature. The mmc came across as wimpy because he allowed to be dictated in the name of being allowed to be a part of his child's life. This type of books just makes my blood boil because they justify nonsense.

This was my first book by Willa Wilde, and I added one more favorite author to my list. I really enjoyed this book. The plot is engaging, it's a smooth read, and the characters are well-developed with excellent wording. I loved the humor in it as well. The book is definitely worth 5 stars and I'm planning to read more books by the author.

-A sizzling, emotional mafia romance packed with danger, passion, and redemption. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
Nina’s strength and Alessio’s dark intensity collide in a tale of love and second chances. Secret baby, single mom, and mafia tropes blend seamlessly with heart and heat.
Willa Wilde delivers a gripping, steamy, and deeply heartfelt story of fate and family.
A must read, don’t miss out! This book has everything you could want in a mafia romance. A sexy, steamy love story with lots of tension and fun banter; exciting and action packed, all consuming page turner. Nina and Alessio’s story is perfection. I was up all night reading, would NOT put it down until the end. This is only the second book I’ve read from this author and they have both been exceptional.

Thus was an absolutely amazing experience. The plot was original and captivating. The world building was expertly handled and impeccable. The characters drove the storyline and they were so very appealing and hawt together and they were very compelling. Highly and thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.

This wasn’t my favorite, but it was an easy read with a good flow to it. I didn’t love the way they met or the ultimatum he gave her. I wasn’t exactly a huge fan of the stripper aspect either, mainly because I couldn’t relate. I do give her props for doing what she had to for her kid. I like that Alessio came around in his way of thinking. I would have loved to see Austin meeting the family. It felt like a missed opportunity.
What do you get when you have a gutsy young woman trying hard to rid herself of a bad marriage and a devastatingly handsome Mafioso - well a surprise baby of course! This is unputdownable! Great characters who are real. The Mafia is its own world, not always glamourous, but those involved love hard and fierce! They protect the ones they love and this story will have you hooked from beginning to end. Baby and all.
2,5⭐️/5 It was great but, unfortunately, not good.
Its really difficult to write good “credible” enough mafia book, because it all rest on the characters being believable enough. And unfortunately I did found that the author wrote them in too much of a caricature-y way to be enjoyable.
The premise were good but the execution couldn’t live up to it, but if you’re looking for a quick story to pass time it might be the one for you
I almost started this series with this book. Thank God I didn’t because I didn’t like this one. They were both infuriating. Lying by omission is still acceptable but outright saying that the child was your ex’s? That’s just cruel. I didn’t like the FMC at all. She was so immature and weak and well, she had the body betrays syndrome.
Okay scratch it I hate her. She fucking lied. I’ve always hated liars and she was one of the shittiest liars. Ffs
Mafia, debt, murder, son, HEA Excellent, powerful read. The sassy humor between the main characters is engaging. Ex-husband had debt enforcers chasing me. Alessio saved me with one moment of passion. Seven years later he’s my boss and I’m hiding a secret from him.

Nina and Alessio accidently fall into each other when she has to run for her life. One very special night leaves behind more than either of them expected. But Nina's ex husband's troubles have a way of following her and now she has even more to lose when tragedy hits close to home. What is Nina to do now? A good mafia read.
I really enjoyed mafia devil’s secret baby which was Alessio and Nina’s story. It was an entertaining and exciting read. I received an early copy of the book via bs. And voluntarily leaving this review.
there is nothing better than a twist in a book and boy does this book have a twist
Starts off pretty normal for this kind of book but you are upended pretty fast. It’s a good up-ending especially when you least expect it. Get this book and read it now!
What a fantastic story of Alessio, Nina, and Austin. The beginning of this story was amazing the way Alessio handled it. Then seven years later when Alessio saw Nina again was amazing. The fact that she now worked for Alessio was something neither of them expected and Alessio pretended he didn’t remember her at all. As time progressed the feelings between the two changed and Alessio finally got the chance to meet Austin his son but he didn’t know that yet. Austin’s heart became an emergency that needed surgery at once. Alessio got Nina out of trouble and then Nina told him about who had taken her and Austin. Alessio went out to get ice cream and noticed something that wasn’t right and took it upon himself to check it out. When he got the man watching his home he took him to the place where the men were and then took care of the problem. There was a lot of steam in this book and for that reason I would love to recommend this book to adults. I loved the happily ever after of this story.
