This book has a very traditional/prescriptive approach to grammar. That being said, I learned a great deal from it, especially as in the class that I just finished taking (Grammar for Teachers),it was combined with Engaging Grammar by Amy Benjamin and Tom Oliva, which focused on a more linguistic/descriptive approach.

I finally found a good, clear, and easy-to-follow grammar guide for my English 107 class. Now I have only to find the cheapest option.
