This was a good book for first readers. It talks about different types of dogs and different weather elements. It is interesting and the illustrations are colorful.
I loved this book because it reminded me of the "I CAN READ" books from the good ol' days. Many new leveled books are actually more difficult because they are labelled because they are usually based around certain licensed characters. This book is one of those basic goodies. And my son thought the Long Dog was funny.. He enjoyed reading this book.
