Received this book for an honest review.
Katrina has spent the last ten years of her life struggling as a server to make ends meet. She feels she has nothing to show for her life. She doesn't even have enough money to get her beat up run down car fixed. She longs to feel love again. She had love with her high school sweetheart and can't get him out of her mind. He broke her heart ten years ago when he left her to attend college.
Damon is a self made billionaire. For the past ten years he has been building his fortune and his company with little time for anything else. When he receives some not so good news Damon begins to reevaluate his life. He has his fortune but nothing else. He begins to put his life into perspective realizing he messed up ten years ago when he let the love of his life go without a fight to further his own personal gain. Now, he has regrets.
With Damon and Katrina's high school reunion coming up both of them struggle whether they should attend. The only reason to attend: each other. Will the other be happily married ? With kids ? When Damon and Katrina reconnect at the reunion it's like they re still in high school and ten years has not passed.
Will Damon and Katrina be able to put the hurt and heart ache of the past behind and build on the love that still surrounds them ?
I really enjoyed the story line of this book. For me, the book went too fast. It seems like the sub characters could have and should have had more of an impact. Farrah had been Karrinas best friend and confidant and once the reunion started Farrah didn't even exist again. Not a phone call to tell your best friend the new things going on with your life. Married ? Pregnant ? Isn't that things that you would share ? Kevin, his supposedly hostility towards Damon and Katrina in Houston. What was that about ? Why ? How did they all come to terms and get along ? Farrah and Kevin both played a significant role in the lives of Damon and Katrina and neither relationship was explored.

I thought the story was rushed and unrealistic. Half the book was sex without much story development. I was really disappointed!!

This book was AMAZING! By far one of the best contemporary novels I have read in a long time! I loved everything about this book especially Damon but who doesn't enjoy a hot, successful and swoon worthy male lead?! Plus the chemistry between Katrina and Damon was amazing and I connected to these characters so quickly by the second chapter I already fell in love with Damon and could picture myself being best friends with Katrina.
I especially loved how they were each others first loves since that just made the book that much greater since you didn't have to see them rush into a relationship like most romance novels. Of course there was major steam factor in the novel that makes you wish you could find someone you could trust and be that open with.
Now this book is not without its share of problems, when the book starts we see how each of the main characters lives are troubling but in different ways. Damon is a successful business man that has built a million dollar business empire but has no one to share it with and when he gets woken up by his dilemma, which I will not spoil for you, he realizes that his business means nothing if he doesn't anyone to share it with and pass down to. Now Katrina is a down and out waitress that doesn't even have enough money to fix her car. She sees her life heading nowhere and can't think of what she can do to get out of the rut she's in.
So when both characters are invited to their high school reunion they both go and the sparks ignite. Damon realizes that he gave the best thing away and now may only have a limited time to fix things. When Katrina sees Damon again she realizes that she's never stopped loving him but doesn't want to take the risk of hoping for more since he left her with a heartbreak that hasn't fully repaired.
This book is for all romance lovers and will keep you in suspense while making you laugh and fall in love with the characters. The only thing I hated about this book was it was to short I would have loved to be able to read more about the characters. This is a must read! It has everything you could ask for in a book love, friendship, steam, hilarity and suspense. Get it NOW!

This was a sweet, romantic, and erotic story. The story itself was heartwarming. The intimacy parts was very detailed. The language of the scenes was hot, and steamy, and not classy at all. I just wanted to warn you.
Damon and Katrina were high school sweet hearts. After graduation Damon took off for college, while Katrina stayed in her home town. They kept up the long distance relationship for a little while, but it was just too hard for the couple.
Throughout the years Damon worked hard, and did very well for himself becoming a billionaire. Right before his 10 year class reunion, Damon got some news that changed the way he viewed his life, changed his priority’s. He realized he let the one thing that was most important slip away. He wanted one more chance with Katrina.
He got that chance. This really was a heartwarming story. The emotions they felt ten years ago, never dimmed. The love was still there.
I have read many books about billionaire’s, or millionaire’s, But no other house is as over the top as Damon’s. All I can say is WOW! Another word comes to mind, eccentric.
Sample from chapter 4 – “Do you plan on seducing me with pizza and taking me parking, Damon Garratt?” Damon gave her hand another squeeze, downshifting. “We could forgo the pizza if you like and skip to the parking.” He glanced over at her and caught her eyes, a mischievous gleam shone in his eyes – the same gleam he used to get when he was teasing her when they were young. No matter how much things had changed, they stayed the same. She certainly wasn’t expecting there to be such a familiarity.
Sample from chapter 6 – Even after all these years. Seeing you has reminded me of those feelings and how insane I was to allow my ambition to blind me.
Sample from Chapter 18 – It had been a marathon of hell, and Damon thanked God each and every day that Katrina came into his life when she did. She thought he did a lot for her, constantly chastising him for spoiling her, but whatever he did for her was noting to the strength she gave him. Destiny was definitely on his side where meeting up with her again was concerned.

My opinion about this book, i give it 4 stars because i like it. Yes, quite like it actually. The synopsis pulls me in but when i red the book it was just okay. There are some points in this book that just doesn't click with me.
Let's list it all down, shall we?
1. The heroine is a 28 yo banquet server. There are no explanations from the author why & how she wasted all those 10 years when the people whom she attended high school with can become a billionaire or lawyer or proffesionals.
2. Their reunions is just quick & too easy. The hero is the love of her life but he's crushed her heart to pieces, okay given the time 10 years which we assume heal the wound, the reconnect. For a fling, reasonable. For a whole week?? When she had bills to pay?? Seriously?
3. The hero asked her of marriage not solely based on love. Even though after the proposal & afterwards the word love is mentioned regularly . At first he thought the marriage would advantage him, which is giving him an heir. Not because he realized he loved her so much after all this year & he doesn't want to part with her anymore & stuffs
4. I really like the idea of the story, i do, but it just seems to me to be really fictional & cinderella-ish.
5. The story is too short & flat.
Now, the good part is
1. Their exchange is playful n witty & fun. They like to cut each other word. It's quite cute actually.
2. The funniest line i've ever red is " the couples that puke together, stay together" -ROTFL
3. This is the first book that i've red that have a very unique house or pets. And i loved it. That house seemed so cool, you know with all the big aquarium & the pet wolf & the tiger & all that.
I think if the author can explain a lil bit much about those pointers up there, this book would be incredible.

Okay... I dont care what others think, I really really enjoyed reading this book! I finished it in about 4 hours and I'm like "Oooh boy! I want more!"
h: Katrina is a little insecure about her job/status in life. She wanted to achieve more but cant. She can barely make ends meet then comes her long lost love...
H: I loved Damon! He is rich, determined, doesn't beat around the bush and hot!
I liked their HEA. They deserved it.
Would I recommend this book? Yes!

The story started well. Written in 3rd person, ain't boring.
It's kinda fast phased, but they already have history together so it's good..
Kind of just breeze through towards the ending,I didn't even paid much attention in their honeymoon.
It would have been better if I was able to read how they broke up, etc.

This book was okay. I liked the story idea overall. However, there were parts that were too glazed over for me and parts that were just too unbelievable! It could have been much better.

Terry Tower has penned a sweet, romantic and heartfelt erotic story with An Heir for the Billionaire.
At the age of 29 Damon is diagnosed with lung cancer. He's never smoked a cigarette, hasn't done illegal drugs, exercises yet he is still diagnosed with cancer. Due to this, he doesn't know what the outcome will be of his condition. Therefore, he wants an heir to inherit all that he's worked so hard for. His doctor tells him that with treatment the odds are that he'll have a solid year if not cured.
He attends his ten year high school reunion and is reunited with his high school sweetheart Katrina. The sparks are still very much present & they take no time in hitting it off again. Damon has never stopped loving Katrina and vice versa. He's on a time crunch, but in his heart he sees no one better suited to be his wife and the mother of his child other than Katrina, the girl who has been there with him all along.
Damon and Katrina were amazing together. Besides the sizzling sexual chemistry,
"Since I'm such a nice guy, I'll give you two choices. Either you can be a good little girl, get over here and fuck me or we get out, I hike up your dress and fuck you from behind over the hood."
they had a great connection. I adored their playful interactions and their obvious love and passion for one another. There were also numerous sweet & tender moments shared between Damon & Kat which I loved reading about.
"With his free hand he grasped hers, lifted her hand to his mouth and kissed her knuckles. This got her attention and she looked up at him.
I love you: he mouthed."
Ten years didn't burn out the flames between these two at all. I loved how they once had a history and it was lovely to read about their past as they reminisced on their high school memories. In addition, I enjoyed the added bits of humor in the story as well which made this a light read rather than a dark & heavy read. As with many romance novels, the ending to An Heir for the Billionaire was simply beautiful. It's just one of those endings where you can't help, but let out a happy sigh and smile.
While I did highly enjoy An Heir for the Billionaire I did notice several spelling & grammatical errors. For example, a spelling error that I caught was "cannal" when it should have been "channel." Another error that I picked up was: "For the first time in her life she held safe, secure..." Held should have been felt. This story could have used a bit more editing in my opinion to really have a nice & polished story overall.
Despite that, I loved reading every single minute of An Heir for the Billionaire. I am so happy that Terry Towers is branching out and writing longer stories. Damon and Katrina stole a piece of my heart and I will revisit them again in the future with re-reads.

Katrina is down on her luck and it just keeps getting worse every day. Why can't things ever look up for her. The bad part is it's time for her ten year high school reunion and it is being held in the hotel that she works in.
Damon has found out that he has cancer and it sits back and realizes that his life revolves around his career and he wishes that he had got married and had children. He is invited to his high school reunion and decides to look up the woman that he loved in high school.
Katrina and Damon are still in love with each other after a ten year separation. Only thing is that Damon has to tell Katrina that he has cancer and he might not make it.
This was a wonderful touching story and I loved it. The author did a great job with her storyline and her characters. I could just feel the pain these two were in when they race against time to have a life with each other.

I LOVED this book! I loved how it was different than all the other contemporary romances I have read. This book didn't have nearly all the drama that others had, just a sweet love story.

After Damon goes off to college and let's his studies and work take over and he loses Katrina. 10 years later Damon gets some really shocking news, and has started rethinking his life. After seeing Katrina again at a high school reunion he was to reconnect and make up for list time. Question is, will Katrina be willing to do what he plans in asking of her?

Damon and Kat's love story was so beautiful and heartwarming. I love that they instantly reconnected even after 10 years. I guess it helped that neither of them had any serious relationships since after their breakup. Plenty of sizzling erotic scenes in this one but no complaints from me. They're both blessed to have been given a second chance to fulfill their fate and destiny. I'd love to live in Damon's amazing farm house and meet his amazing pets.

Could have been a good book
This all the makings for a good story but it was to packed with pages and pages of sex scenes. All of those pages could have been used to enhance the story. What a waste of talent and what a waste of my time. I will look out for this author and publisher to make sure they don't get another cent from me. I bought this book user the category o romance....it is extreme erotica and should be abed as such . I feel scammed. It will not happen again

It felt like the entire story was rushed. The only good parts where the "steamy" ones. Whatever else in between, it was bland. I think it would have been better if the writer exploited of what happened after they reconnected. Heck, even before that.. it just lacked the build up.
