Es una buena novela, pero desde luego no de las mejores de Camus. La historia es sensacional y hay pasajes memorables, pero me queda la sensación de que se podía haber saca más partida de la historia.

Really disappointing
maybe because i read this book just after finishing The stranger by Camus
The stranger was a completely different story , it was so fascinating
But this book is inspired by real facts that's why i found it boring
it basically describes Oran before and after the epidimic
i can say that the only good thing in this novel is the way Camus described the diseases in a scientific way
but in general i didn't like it at all

Me gustó. La narración no es pesada, especialmente con todo el aspecto filosófico. Los personajes "dibujados" más internamente, como si la peste se llevara por dentro. El final me agradó, sorpresivo. Una técnica nueva para mí. Interesante propuesta en donde filosofía y literatura se llevan bien y ninguna está celosa de la otra.

There is no passion in this story,I felt kind of bored by reading the book,maybe because it's a true story and about an epidemic situation that Oran (a city of ALGERIA) have seen about 1940 years.

Interesante, pero a mi juicio no profundiza ni aprovecha demasiado un escenario tan extremo, intenso e interesante como es un pueblo asolado y aislado por la peste. Los malos podrían ser mucho más malos, al igual que los buenos, no refleja la grandeza ni la miseria del ser humano como podría.
