I LOVE this book. This textbook has clear and thorough explanations sprinkled with humor and accompanied by fabulous diagrams to help the students understand. The last chapter, I feel, could easily be done away with. I can see from a very strictly secular viewpoint, why that topic seems necessary. It was this particular textbook that made me fall in love with biology so many years ago. I bought three copies, just so I can share and still always have a copy for myself and my kids!
