this is also set in the same world as “haunted love” and that just made it even more enjoyable 🤩

Sacred Vow is such an entertaining and easy read. Kept me engaged and laughing throughout. It's well written, the characters are believable, with Tilly (fmc) and her bff relatable. Ok maybe not totally!!!!

Not only is Sacred Vow a dark romance, it's also a rom com, with a stalker element that is not at all a hot one, an age gap with the most delicious daddy, a couple of entitled delulus who cause some real damage, a bff everyone should have in the form of Chloe who just about rivals Tilly, our main girl, on hilarity. They both come across as sarcastic with a sense of humour that is highly amusing and a habit of getting themselves into highly embarrassing but funny situations. And then there is Zeph.... sigh..... swoon. All round great guy, bit of a puppy dog, great sense of humour, adonis like his daddy. mmmm dreamy.

Tilly's love for ironic slogan shirts is down right hilarious. She is a force that knows what she wants, what she likes, she is unpredictable and a little chaotic. Trouble seems to find her, no matter where she is. Caeser is just delicious, dark, intense, emotionally stunted for good reason, but of course our Tilly totally demolishes his carefully structured walls. Even with their age gap and life experiences being drastically different, Tilly and Caeser still got each other. They were on the same page the whole way through, they just didn't realise it. Their chemistry was off the charts and absolute fire.

It was so good coming back to Vixen, from Haunted Love, and seeing Aspen and Izaac again. Would have loved to see Austin and Becs but I'm still holding out for a book of their own one day. Maybe even just a little novella????

Enter Caesar Di Rozé the ultimate silver fox daddy— commanding, sinful, & oh-so-dangerous. Then comes Tilly— smart, confident and everything Caesar didn’t know he needed. In his eyes, she’s not just captivating—she is a sex goddess. The chemistry between them is electric & will make you want to fan yourself between chapters.

Took me a while to finish this one, as I read ARCs in between which kind of gives you the knowledge that this one didn’t hold my attention as all the other Sheridan Anne books I’ve read.

Our FMC Tilly, goes to Vixen a s3x club regularly, I suppose it doesn’t hurt that it’s her cousins boyfriend who owns it. Whilst in the VIP section she is watching a couple, but the man keeps his eyes on her all the time. She can’t get him out of her mind but ends up with a guy from her class, who takes her home. His Dad walks in and Tilly realises it’s the same man from the club. Let’s just say there’s a lot of spice, her comical banter and feistiness comes through. It’s not all spice though as someone lurks behind the scenes.

I just didn’t enjoy this one, like others have said it’s hard to explain why but it was very predictable, which is not something I usually associate with Sheridan’s books. It’s an age gap, obsessive romance with spice and a little bit of jealous mayhem thrown in.

When I say you need to read this book, I mean you need to drop whatever you're doing and read it NOW!

It was hilarious. Tilly's banter had me howling! Her T-shirts? Oh, and her grandma? Absolutely iconic 😂

And the spice? Phew. This is the first book I’ve given a full 5🌶 this year — and when I say steamy, I mean “call the fire brigade” levels of hot. Did someone say masked men? As in 3 of them? 👀🔥

I genuinely kicked, squealed, and cackled my way through this story. Not quote as unhinged as some of the things Caeser and Tilly did though 🫣 iykyk.

There's definitely dark elements to this story so make sure you check your triggers.

I consumed this book like air to breathe, I knew being a stand alone Sheridan Anne it would be fantastic but I really loved that it was set in the same world as haunted love as I LOVED that stand alone also. I wasn’t sure how I would go with this a trope but I 100% loved it and will read again. The Vixen club is where dreams come true.

Wow! Amazing read! Like... off the charts! Phenomenal! Tilly is hilarious. I love her attitude, her take no crap personality, knowing what she wants and going after it! Zeph may be my most favoritist character ever. And don't forget Daddy Caesar! The book is hot, spicy, had me ROTFL. It's a dark romance with so much comedy that it could be a rom-com, if not for the darkness. It's connected to Haunted Love but you won't be confused without reading first. Highly recommend (both books really)!

The way I absolutely devoured this book should be a crime! This was one of my most anticipated releases and let me tell you it did not dissapoint!! I will say 5 stars simply doesn't do this book enough justice, it is worth INFINITE stars!!!!

I was hooked from the first couple of pages and from there I just had to keep reading, like I genuinly struggled to put this book down if I'm honest. This book is packed with some incredibly funny moments albeit some are quiet embarrassing for our FMC Tillie but that just made it so much better in my opinion. I actually cackled so hard at some of the things that happened in here I was left struggling to breathe and had tears streaming down my face because what are the fucking chances. The way chapter one kicks off had me howling with laughter but at the same time I was absolutely mortified for her! The banter in this book is also top tier! I love our FMC and her internal monologues, I love her friendship with Chloe and also with Zeph through the story. There are definitely some hilarious comments made between the three of them and I ended up loving each character even more as the story progressed. The spice was also SPICING!!! I do also love how some of the scenes in this book take place in Vixen the exclusive sex club I fell in love with during Haunted Love.

Tillie our FMC is sassy, funny, confident and loves to stir up trouble in the most delicious ways. She is easy to love as a character especially with her custom t-shirts that are literally so fitting for every situation she finds herself in. This girl definitely has a wild side which we love and after having a moment with a myseterious silver fox in Vixen she cannot get him out of her head. A hookup with Zeph leads to a friends with benefits situation and imagine her surprise when the silver fox she can't stop thinking about turns out to be his super hot and super single dad. Things were bound to get interesting that's for sure and boy did I love the ride!

Ceasar our super hot, super dominant silver fox is literally THE MAN. The way this man commands your attention was one of my favourite things in this story. He is dominant, has a dark past he doesn't discuss and he takes what he wants with no apology! This man could have literally told me to jump and I would have asked how high. The fact that he commands not only Tillie's attention but also her body pretty much instantly had me desperate for more. This girl is also the only one that can bring our Dom Daddy to his knees in the best way possible and I was OBSESSED. The lessons he teaches along the way (if you know, you know) had me feeling a certain type of way and holy crap I wanted to be Tillie so deperately. I also love that he calls her hellcat and encourages her wild side.

These two together were everything I didn't even know I needed. There is one scene in here where he says "crawl to me" and I quiet literally almost died right there because holy god damn! Someone definitely needs to burn my kindle when I die because the things I read in this book would definitely make a priest blush.

Would one million percent recommend but also check your trigger warnings as there are still a couple of darker themes and situations that take place in this book outside of our spicy encounters. Sheridan Anne is an auto buy author for me and this book just further solidified that!

This was such a fun read and I didn’t want it to end. Everything was on-point from the writing, the lovable (mostly) characters and the laugh out loud moments. Sacred Vow has the perfect blend of plot and spice. While this is considered a dark romance, I would call it more a dark rom-com. There is a stalker – so check your triggers.

Tilly is pure chaos. She’s sarcastic and hilarious. She lives her life loud and unapologetically. There is a lightness about her that you can’t help but find endearing. From the first chapter of this book, you immediately fall in love with her. I want to be her when I grow up.

Ceasar is the perfect silver fox daddy. He’s protective, broody and intense. Due to his past, he has built his walls up so high that no one can scale them. At least he thought so until a chance encounter with Tilly at Vixen. One look at Tilly and he is intrigued. Days after that encounter he still can’t get her off his mind. Imagine his surprise when he comes home and finds his Hellcat with his son, Zephyr. Yeah, what are the chances?

Zephyr is basically a younger version of Caesar. Except where Ceasar is a Doberman, Zephyr is a Golden Retriever. What starts out as just ‘scratching an itch’ with Tilly, soon turns into a deep friendship. I loved the conversations and banter between them. And I was so happy to see how things ended for him.

And then there’s Tilly’s bff, Chloe. She is just as hilarious and sarcastic as Tilly. They are each other’s ride-or-die. Everyone needs to have a Chloe in their life.

I can’t say enough good things about this book. The chemistry between Caesar and Tilly was pure fire! Even though these two are coming from different places in their lives, they just fit - they get each other. The plot was well paced and flowed well. I had a feeling I knew who the stalker was any why, but I didn’t see the twist with that coming. I loved the banter between all of the characters. Some of the things that stick out to me are Tilly’s ironic T-shirts and the hilarious text messages with her grandma. Those were priceless gems. I wonder if her grandma would adopt me?

Overall, if you’re looking for a spicy age-gap read with a dominate silver fox, then this one’s for you. You’ll laugh, you’ll swoon and you’ll probably need to break out the fan from the heat. 🔥🔥🔥

This book was incredible, I mean just a few pages in and I am laughing!! At the word counts index, then followed very quickly with the first chapter having me about in tears laughing. The FMC she's a touch of a disaster in the most relatable way, things that honest to god I think would happen to me. Her sexual confidence, her banter, her silly t-shirt slogans, the openness with her best friend, and then there's grandma. I straight up want to be Tilly's best friend. Bold, unapologetic and confident, everything a gal should be. Which brings me to my next point.

FINALLY a sexually confident gal that can be submissive BUT I loved loved loved when she flipped the narrative and made the men weak. So many books with the possessive, dominant MMC's the females lose their bite. Tilly didn't. I liked the sass, and banter. I loved her keeping the reins. I loved that she essentially made these big egotistical men stop and challenged them.

I went into this book with the teasers and prefaces and trigger warnings thinking 'okay this one is going to be taboo and forbidden and just well unhinged'. I mean I love those too, love the shock value. However, I have to give Sheridan props this book was so well written that I was there immersed. I was like nothing wrong with any of this, I am with you, following every forbidden step of the way. It all made sense and flowed and didn't seem fully inappropriate, and I think that's a testament to the characters she's written being so open, bold, that there was transparency there in a way. Its amazing to me what context and well written words can do deliver these stories.

Gah! How I love Sheridan Anne’s writing. She legit never fails to entertain me when I curl up with some of her words and Sacred Vow reminded me exactly why she’s one of my go-to authors. Tilly is an absolute force of nature — hilarious, chaotic in the best way (that livestream though! 🤣), and sharp-tongued enough to keep everyone (especially Zephyr and Caesar) on their toes. Her banter with Zeph had me cackling, and her unapologetically bold personality makes her one of the most entertaining heroines I’ve read recently.

This book is heavy on the sexy times — and when I say hot, I mean 𝙃.𝙊.𝙏. Only Tilly would wind up hooking up with her one-night stand’s silver fox father, and Caesar more than lives up to the fantasy. From the moment he sees her, he’s caught in her web, and their chemistry is explosive. Sheridan blends the darker, forbidden edge with laugh-out-loud humor — from Tilly’s iconic T-shirts to her outrageous grandma — in a way that makes the ride equal parts wicked and fun. And can we talk about Zeph? He might not be the main romance here, but he absolutely stole scenes in his own right.

While this story leans more into heat than the deeper character progression I’ve seen in some of Sheridan’s other books, I loved that Tilly never lost her fire. Even in the steamiest moments, she holds her own — a true ‘hellcat’ as Ceaser calls her. I devoured every page and immediately wanted to go back for seconds. Between the scorching steam, the rom-com-esque banter, and Caesar proving that Daddy really does it better, Sacred Vow is dark, dirty, funny, and addictive — pure Sheridan Anne magic. I can’t wait to see what she throws at us next.

Final Verdict: Sacred Vow is the ultimate cocktail of Daddy kink, dark romance, age gap heat, silver fox allure, and forbidden temptation — all wrapped in a dark romantic suspense pulsing with gothic vibes and vigilante justice.

I say it every time, but she just does it every time. If Sheridan wrote it, I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy it. I went into this book blind, I had a vague idea of the trope but no idea of what to actually expect. And boy, I wasn't disappointed.

There was a lot I enjoyed about this book, the banter, the relationship between the main characters, the relationship of the main characters with the side characters, and even the side characters with each other. I don't want to give too much way, but everyone served a purpose and added value. I particularly enjoyed Zeph, and Tilly's t shirts. I was giggling, laughing, ans gasping. I think I need more of Zeph though. Just because of reasons.

Tilly is one of the sassiest and funniest FMCS I've read in a hot minute. Cesar is dark, broody, and sassy enough to balance our her sass. Actually, everyone was pretty sassy and I think thats why everything just worked. They all played off each other so well and gave their relationships a bit more depth. Are you really friends with someone if you don't try and out sass each other?

And then there's the spicy. Boy was it spiiiicccccyyyy. Oh my goodness. I felt like i was clutching my pearls at some parts and not in a bad way. If you like your books with some humor, darkness, and some holy moly hotness, this book is for you.

On that note, do be mindful of triggers going into this. They're not to be taken lightly.

The story line too, ugh. So good. Worth it. Kept me drawn to the story and wanting to get the answers. I had a feeling about parts of it but I should have known better. I should have known Sheridan would pull all the punches.

There is a reason I call Sheridan Anne the “Surprise Queen”. Whether it’s a “oh, look, I just wrote a new book” or you think the story is going one way and it’s the complete opposite. Each one of Sheridan Anne’s standalone’s have taken me on a ride I don’t want to get off of.
Sacred Vow is nothing like I thought it was going to be. It was so much better and I LOVED it.

Tilly owns every decision and has no shame. Unapologetically herself, down to the one liner T-shirts she wears, choices she makes, fun loving and mature beyond her years. It’s refreshing to see a FMC portrayed that way and for others to embrace her confidence.

Caesar is the epitome of a silver fox, strong, dominant, sexy, experienced and all MAN. Behind all that is a man with demons and has convinced himself that he is unworthy of love.

That man knows the female body better than we do, but Tilly, she’s got her own arsenal to bring a man to his knees. Their electrifying chemistry will have you a pile of ash on the floor after causing you to combust. Some of the HOTTEST s*x scenes I’ve read, and they’re all part of the story, not just for spice.

The dynamics between the friends is some of the best I’ve seen. The hilarity that ensues, banter and quips had me rolling and honestly, warming my heart. It really felt so good to see the development and bond build between them. It was genuine and believable.

Sheridan Anne has NEVER disappointed me and her streak has remained. When I saw this ARC in my inbox, I screamed. Because...dream come true. The concept of this book....yes please!

Now before I give my thought on the couple can we just appreciate that a couple from a previous stand alone makes a few appearances and the chemistry is STILL swoon worthy? I was SO excited to see them!! And seeing the menu from Vixen again...If you know...you know...if you don't...READ THAT BOOK TOO!! *P.S. It's Haunted Love...DUH!

Caesar and Tilly are the perfect couple for an age gap romance. Tilly is a firecracker and I'm so glad she was a smart woman. I'm so used to seeing where the female is younger and...to put it nicely, dumb. Tilly is not. She is mature for her age and she suits Caesar so freaking well.

This is also the spiciest book I've read in a while and WHEW...I about took my wedding ring off for Caesar. I'm not sorry. Don't tell my husband. I'll do it. *winks*

This book is just so good. I mean it had everything. Had me rolling on the floor laughing, scared and emotional at other times, and definitely hot and bothered a lot. Be sure to check those triggers.

Tilly is such a great FMC. She made me laugh so much and she is such a feisty woman that knows what she wants. She is twenty two and enjoys her time with men. When she goes to an adult club and sees a silver fox that catches her attention, all she can think is she wants him to do everything to her. Unfortunately, her best friend had an embarrassing moment and pulled Tilly away before she could even get the guys name.

When Tilly is in class, a guy basically asks her for a good time, and she has an itch to scratch so why not. She's surprised who she sees when she's with this guy.

So many things happen in this book, there's a crazy person harassing her and a vow not to fall in love and a fun best friend and another new unconventional friendship but it is all so good.

Zephyr is such a great character. Chloe the best friend is the best and the silver fox is just hot. Definitely read this book!

But when he walks through the front door and sees her flirting with his son the next night, he is left feeling confused. Until Tilly shows the same interest back. They then enter a sacred vow - s*x with no emotion. A forbidden lustful affair not just behind Caesar's sons back, but Caesar also is hiding it from his work colleague & friends.

But as their lustful affair continues, they find the sacred vow may be harder to keep than they both once thought. Especially when they both give each other, the something they are missing.
And with a 20+ year age gap & Caesar trying to move on from his dark past - Can they truly be each others person?

Tilly is such an absolute badass FMC. She is her own person and she owns exactly who she is. She is a free spirit, free sexually as well, she doesn't apologize for who she is or what/who she wants. When a night out at a exclusive sex club leads her to the most gorgeous sliver fox she has ever seen, she is desperate to spend the night with him but unfortunately that doesn't happen.

Days later still fighting to itch the scratch the sexy stranger left behind, Tilly meets Zeph and he helps her with that very particular itch. As Tilly and Zeph get to know each other, Tilly also gets to meet Zeph's dad, Ceasar, who just happens to be the sexy, dominate, sliver fox daddy that Tilly saw at the club. Shock and surprise rocks Tilly but she is determined to have Ceasar. Things get extremely interesting when Ceaser walks in on Zeph & Tilly one night and he shows Zeph just what to do with a woman like Tilly.
Tilly & Ceasar are fireworks together, with a vow made to keep things physical, the pair do just that until it becomes to much. Besides vows are made to be broken.

Sheridan Anne does it again. Loved this book. I have no complaints. Age gap, sliver fox, daddy trope.

Phew. This book. I laughed out loud. I got hot and heavy. I teared up a bit and got all in my feels. This book gave ALL the emotions. It was everything I wanted and more. Especially considering age gaps aren't typically my favorite.
It starts off with a bang and just keeps going up from there. My attention was glued to the pages the whole time I was reading. Tilly is a strong relatable character who (thinks she) knows what she wants. Her best friend, Chloe, is so much fun to have as a side character and she brings a lot of life and laughter to the series. Zephyr is a fun guy from the beginning and the bestie banter energy given is just amazing. Then there's Caesar. Phew...again. You just can't help but love him and the things he can do...
This was definitely in my top books for the year. I cannot wait to see what Sheridan does next because I am OBSESSED with her writing.

Tully is an unashamed girl who owns her sexuality, and boy does she do it in the best way. She doesn't shy away from situations and faces them with humour when appropriate, making for an almost light hearted read.
Caesar is a man with a troubled past, whose heart is utterly pure. So pure that he's not willing to destroy what he's worked hard to regain.
That's until chance situations and incidents arise that mean Tully crosses his path. Then, he has a choice, follow his heart or continue to let the past stop him from truly living and ultimately feeling things he hasn't for sometime.
It was great to read some cameo appearance from characters in Haunted Love. I also have a fee!ing we may see more in the future.

Fabulous read by Sheridan. She can't make main characters you dislike, only ones you love to hate, then love again. Doing what she does best; smut, laughs, and relatable characters.

Can't wait for what's next.

I think I've read all of Sheridan Anne's dark romance standalone novels. It's always a hit and miss with her. And this book wasn't my favorite. I always give books a chance as long as it has smut. And this one is smutty for sure. But I didn't really like the plot. I did enjoy the flirting. It was hot. The banter between Zeph, Chloe and Tilly was funny. The old man comments were great. I'm definitely not giving up on this author. Haunted Love, Midnight Stage and Santa's Dark Secret are some of my favorites. I still want to read her other holiday standalone.

I suggest reading Haunted Love before reading Sacred Vow. As that's Aspen and Izaac's story and he owns Vixen. It'll make more sense reading Haunted Love first.

I freaking loved this book!! Easily one of my top reads of the year.
Tilly had me laughing right from the start—she’s hilarious, bold, and I adored her. She goes to a smex club with her best friend Chloe and ends up feeling this crazy instant attraction to an older guy. Things don’t get a chance to go anywhere though, and she leaves without even knowing his name.
But Tilly can’t stop thinking about it. Then Zephyr, the hot guy in her class, straight up asks her to hook up. She agrees, but when she goes home with him and his dad walks in… yeah, my jaw was on the floor.
The whole thing with Tilly, Zeph, and Caesar? 🔥🔥🔥 Hot, messy, and absolutely addictive. There are so many funny parts, but also some darker topics mixed in—so check your triggers.
What I really loved was how Tilly just owns who she is. She knows what she wants and doesn’t apologise for it, and that was so refreshing to read.
Sheridan Anne always writes books I can’t put down, and this one had me hooked start to finish. The spice was spicing, the drama was wild, and Daddy Caesar… whew. 🥵

Hot and extra spicy with a drizzle of hot honey for good measure is the best way to describe Sacred Vow by Sheridan Anne. It is non-stop spice with a solid enough plot that keeps you engaged. If you are not a fan of sex in every chapter then this book isn’t for you. The FMC is a very sexual being who is very comfortable in her needs and wants and if she’s not having it, she’s talking about it with her best friend. The MMC is a 26 year older man who also is very comfortable in his own skin and they have a chance encounter at a local club. While she had to leave before they could meet, they were drawn to each other like magnets and neither one of them thought they’d ever see the other again. But fate had a joke in store for them when the FMC goes to a man’s home with him, only to find out it belongs to the MMC of her dreams. And she’s having sex with his son!

This book is about Tilly. Tilly is attending college. Tilly is outspoken, funny, and goes after what she wants. Tilly is also very open in her sexuality.
Tilly doesn't want to be in a relationship just a situationship.Tilly and her friend frequent a BDSM club. Tilly was very intrigued by a older man there. Tilly leaves without being able to find anything out about this silver fox.

Tilly goes home with a classmate of hers, Zephyr, literally in the middle of class because she was so turned on by the silver fox. The next day Tilly wakes in Zeph's house to find her silver fox. That silver fox, Caesar, is Zeph's father. Caesar noticed Tilly in return.

This book is spicy with the dynamic between Tilly, Zephyr, and Caesar! I liked the fact that things went on that Zeph had no clue about. Sometimes Zeph was in the room but clueless. This book is a little dark but a lot funny. Tilly's grandmother was hilarious.
