This one was so epic like Ross is taken as a prison by the US and he feels betrayed and you see experiments being done on him by General Ryker but he died last issue but you see who and what he has become aka WAR WOLF and his experiments on Ross are insane and wild and I love that, it makes the comic that much more wild and like reminds you of body horror from the Immortal Hulk book and Geoff Shaw's art on this book is amazing and really well done and like you see the scenes of him escaping and making his way to Pentagon and then after having his name cleared, like his crew hunt for WARWOLF in latveria so its like coming back full circle from the first story arc and I love that about it!

It feels like one of those 80s hollywoods movie with a simple plot of breaking out and then invading and reclaiming it and I love how the writer in this volume and series explore the strategic mind of General Ross and his undying love and loyalty for USA and what he will do to keep the american might on the world and its amazing to see it and sure geopolitical conflicts aside thats pretty much in the character of Ross. I love the side characters and sure they don't get much of an expansion but the were fun additions to the series and by the end they become a guerilla outlawed team and thats cool to see.

And what Ross does next ties into the next Captain America volume by Chip so well!! Seriously such a great volume here by Percy and one of the best series of 2025..its action thriller with amazing art!!

The first volume of Red Hulk was a breakout, and this second volume is much the same. Now in captivity at the hands of his former teammate, General Ross has to reassemble his team of misfits in order to escape and put the world to rights once again.

There's not a huge amount of substance here - Ross's point of view borders on fanatical, which is well-realised, if a bit scary to read at times, so Percy does a good job with that, even if it's only glimpses in a few issues.

The rest of the book is mostly punching and explosions, with an attempt at some kind of statement at the end in relation to One World Under Doom's effects on the world, but given that that's the end of the series, I don't feel like this book's going to have that much of an effect on the grand scheme of things.

Geoff Shaw returns for two issues, with Jethro Morales heading over from Star Wars land for one and and Gabriel Guzman showing up to end the series. Shaw's the best of the bunch, but they all do a decent job - I do think everyone draws Red Hulk a little out of proportion, though, even for a Hulk.

A fun little romp, but maybe overshooting its own importance.

Another fun fight from Red Hulk, who makes an incredibly stupid decision at the end. But what do you expect from a hard core lifetime American soldier. The other characters are cool ones that aren’t used much, the villain is whatever. It’s a fun story, it has huge consequences moving on but there doesn’t feel like there’s a lot here. Feels empty compared to the other tie in stories. Maybe could have used another character and some more fights.
