A magical muse + a mysterious man + reality TV = the worst time to fall in love. But on Beach of Bliss rules are made to be broken.
Calliope is desperate. Dumped, broke, and stuck with a mortgage, she signs up for Beach of Bliss, a supernatural reality dating show with a million-dollar prize. A muse flirting for cash might not be dignified, but dignity doesn’t pay the bills. All she has to do is survive the cameras, the competition, and keep her heart out of it. Simple—until a suspiciously perfect supernatural man with unknown powers throws everything off course.
Vance wants nothing to do with fame, fortune, or love. He’s only on Beach of Bliss to keep the show’s magical chaos from spiraling out of control. But the moment he meets Calliope, his carefully maintained facade begins to crack.
Between steamy challenges, secret missions, and spells gone sideways, staying in the game means playing by the rules. But love? It has rules of its own.
In a world where romance is a competition and magic always comes with a price, Calliope and Vance are about to find out that the real prize might be something they never expected.
This novel ends on a cliffhanger and continues in Book 2 and 3 (for an eventual Happily Ever After). This series goes between 2 and 3 chilli peppers.
Reality dating show but make it supernatural?? Take my money- take it all 🤚
This was so unexpectedly fun and interesting. The drama? the secrets? the twists? I fear this was just as entertaining, if not more than actual reality tv shows.
Caliope was hilarious lmao her giving each contestant a nickname had me cackling. I like that she was goal oriented and had a solid head on her shoulders even if she was kinda naive at times.
Vance was kinda boring until he wasn’t. Hot damn but his loyalty makes me wanna cry 😭
I’m soooo invested in the series pls I neeeeed the second book 🙏

I loved this book! It was very unique and an emotional rollercoaster ride for Callie and the other contestants. The supernatural elements, family dynamics and paranormal political elemts just added to its depth.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 🌶️🌶️/5 ♥️ love island meets sci-fi romance ♥️ steamy challenges ♥️ supernatural reality dating show
I truly loved the unique concept of “Beach of Bliss,” a mix of Love Island meets sci-fi romance. The drama is dramaing in Supernaturally Perfect, offering a raw look at what the characters are truly feeling behind the scenes, questioning the reality of the show's true intentions. I truly loved all the main characters and the found family and friends that Calliope acquires within the season. I also really appreciated the confessionals at the beginning of each chapter, making it truly feel like you’re reading an episode of the show. If you love reality TV and modern magic, then this book is for you!
I luckily received an ARC of this book and now I cannot wait for book 2!
Calliope and Vance had such an interesting story and this was such a unique read. If you like supernatural stories and reality television, this is the book for you! See behind the scenes and enjoy the drama both on and off camera. Definitely an author to watch!
This book was not only incredibly fun to read, but the plot had me hooked right from the start! I love how our FMC is a strong, confident woman. You don't need to be a warrior to show strength, and this book proves it. Callie is amazing—smart, flirty, and always one step ahead. I honestly didn’t expect to love a character like her so much, but the author did a fantastic job bringing her to life. She’s intriguing, and I just want to know more about her!
Vance is perfect. He’s moody, grumpy, and emotionally closed off... just the way I like them. But we also get to see his POV, which is brilliant—it really helps us understand him better. Without that insight, I probably would’ve been pretty frustrated, lol.
PNR usually isn’t my thing (I tend to roll my eyes at the plots), but this one totally surprised me. It’s fresh, funny, smart, and so addictive—I just wanted to keep reading!
Great story! This isn’t my first Quinn book, and she did not disappoint. When does the second one come out??
Great read. Book had me feeling like I was right there with the characters. Supernatural, magic, romance, mystery, action all in one book, Can't wait for book 2!!!!
This book is really good. It’s unique compared to other reality TV romance novels, and not just because of the supernatural element.
This book does quite a good job of helping you get into the characters minds. There’s also a lot of diversity and characters that have actually struggled with adversity, regardless of how relatable those issues may be.
I think this is and isn’t a romance. It seems to follow all the classic hallmarks of a love story, but there are a few key things that are different that make it less romantic and fuzzy feeling than the standard romance.
I definitely want to continue reading the next book in the series. The book is almost like a character study, or a contemporary fiction centered around family drama. Every character has something twisted going on in their lives. And the writing, though evocative, also allows you to keep some distance and not feel to emotionally swayed by what’s going on.
Thank you NetGalley and Three Amigas Press for this ARC.
Unfortunately this was a miss for me. Interesting premise but there was no real plot or character development whatsoever??? Everything went in circles and so many ideas brought up but nothing was adequately addressed. I felt the book was longer than it needed to be since nothing really happened.
I get no-communication/miscommunication would be a big barrier based on the whole set up of a supernatural reality TV show, but what we got was diabolical. A handful of opportunities to move the plot along but the couple would face setbacks and quickly turn on each other with the slightest breeze without even bothering trying to hash things out whenever they did get an opportunity to talk.
I did appreciate the little interview snippets at the start of each chapter which adds to the reality TV show bit, but they were pretty useless and didn't really reveal anything substantial. Side characters were vague and I just stopped remembering who was who. Also thought there would be more on the supernatural side of things but it was all quite surface-level.
Personally, I'm just confused. Other readers would probably enjoy this more than me.
okay love island book version, you know i’m ready 💯💯
at first, i was lowkey scared i wouldn’t be able to keep up with all the names, but i was clocked in at the locked in factory🔒🔒 and calliope's nicknames came in clutch
although calliope was NOT locked in like that man was lowkey making a fool of both of you, but anyways…. the character dynamics and banter was so fun and refreshing. it was such a good end of summer type read, especially since love island finished like this is my show now, everyone be quiet.
the dual POVs too!! they know the way to my heart ☺️☺️ both that and the confessionals really made it seem like a reality TV show which was definitely a new, but not disappointing in any way, concept for me, i was SOOOO pleasantly surprised by this book!!
even though you have to beat vance’s truth out of him with a stick at times, he’s still my baby 🥹🥹 im still sooooo confused about his dynamic with his dad and the witch council (daddy issues alert 🚨🚨) so this second book needs to come QUICK!!!!
When Calliope agrees to go on a supernatural reality TV dating show, her only goal is to play the part that will win her the million-dollar prize. Though reality TV isn’t exactly dignified, she is willing to sacrifice her image to support herself and her younger brother. The typical drama of reality TV is increased when she finds out that all of the participants are also supernaturals.
This story hooked me from page one and I could barely put it down until I finished. The characters are believable, the dating show challenges and tropes hilarious and the love story is sweet. I enjoyed trying to figure out each character’s supernatural traits and seeing the love bloom between characters. The stakes of the game plus the danger of letting a fang slip out in front of a non-magical TV audience kept the tension high. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Supernaturally Perfect is the imaginative season one of a projected three books that follows the trials and tribulations of MFC Calliope who has signed on for a million dollar payout if she survives the supernatural reality dating show Beach of Bliss.
Signing on for the media exposure she needs to jump start her music career is one perk but the money she needs is an even bigger incentive if she wins the prize.
Then there is contestant MMC Vance who has tingles going to interesting places whenever she locks eyes with him.
I enjoyed this different kind of paranormal romance that was spicy, intriguing, nicely written and had a very engaging story to tell. Ends on a cliffhanger and I will definitely be looking forward to the arrival of season 2.

The premise for Supernaturally Perfect was really interesting, but I feel the execution didn't meet the expectations. It was frustrating that whenever the story seemed to be moving in the right direction, something would happen and we would go back to square one. Having some miscommunication and indecisiveness is a given, but it felt too much. I really enjoyed most of the secondary characters and the snippets of interviews at the beginning, which made it feel like it was really a reality TV show. Also, I knew it was season 1 and I was expecting a season 2, but with a different cast or some of their secondary characters getting their own romance, not having things unresolved from the frist book.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an e-arc in exchange of an honest review.
This book was so much fun and it was exactly what I expected from the title and description: Paranormal romance? Yes please! Reality dating show? Uhm, that’s my guilty pleasure. WHY ARE THERE NOT MORE BOOKS LIKE THIS!?
This was just way too much fun. I felt like I was not only watching and enjoying the drama of reality TV, but also getting the behind the scenes of the production and games. And mixing in all the supernatural elements? This was just too much fun.
The story ends on a cliffhanger and that’s my only complaint, that I have to wait for book 2! Ugh! But it sounds like book 2 will release soon after this one, so I’m ready for it!
Not my usual read, but this was refreshing and fun!
I just finished watching the latest season of Love Island, so this was perfect to fill that end of show slump. The author did a great job of keeping all the interactions incredibly shallow while still keeping the characters likeable. I liked the social commentary, but I wanted more world building. I have so many questions about the classification system and how banishment works, but it seems like I may get more answers in book 2!
My only criticism of this book is that Vance is SO BORING! He doesn't really have any personality in the book and he is described as hot, tall, tattooed, and protective of Callie. He has an interesting back story, but is he funny? Is he smart?
Thank you to BookSirens and Quinn Zamora for the free eARC.
There was nothing solid about the book. The main girl was just spineless and believed what anyone told her, even when she knew they meant to ruin things for her. She is what women fight that we aren't like. There was not really much story just hints of what story could be. It never went anywhere. At the end she still had no growth, still as clueless, still about looks and nothing really significant that we are involved in. Emotions were very skin deep and a very big disconnect. She has wrote some awesome books but the seem to be getting worse and not better. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily
Super spicy and the chemistry between MFC Calliope, a muse, and MMC Vance, a mystery I won't spoil, explodes from the page. Calliope falls into Vance's gravity fast, fast, fast, and Vance can't help but fall into her orbit, like two stars circling each other and waiting to go supernova. (Nova, a side character, will not be blamed. ;) )
Calliope's habit of giving people nicknames and playing the meta game on the reality TV show is a ton of fun. She's a diva of the best kind - bleach-blond but super smart, with killer hips and a golden heart.
The supernatural + reality TV show angles make Beach of Bliss one of a kind. 10/10 and recommended!
Thank you to Book Sirens, the author, and publishers for giving me early access to this eARC.
3 stars. This book was a silly goofy fun time. This book is about Calliope and Vance who both are contestants on a supernatural love island inspired tv show. It shows their evolving relationship and the challenges that come with having a tv show full of supernaturals who cannot use their powers on tv.
This book read exactly how watching love island feels. It gave me the same feeling with a supernatural twist. It was lighthearted and fun. Overall, I enjoyed my read. I would recommend to anyone wanting a lighthearted fun book about a supernatural love island show.
Loved the reality TV couples and everyone had great chemistry from the start. There was enough challenges and couple ups to keep the story going and be a fun time.
While I did enjoy the premise of this book and the thought of a reality show specifically for the paranormal comingling, I feel like it wasn't enough of a story to be stretched into a second without wrapping up the main storyline. While I feel like it can easily be a series I don't think there is enough intrigue in the Main characters to pull off another one.

Has there ever been a better time to escape to the beach for fun and fantasy? Supernaturally Perfect makes the perfect beach read, or bathtub read, or underground bunker read. If you love romance and reality TV, along with voluptuous vampires, libidinous lycanthropes, dangerous demons, and sexy sirens, then give Quinn Zamora's latest romp a try. Think "Love Island" meets "Bachelor in Paradise" meets "Twilight." Such fun!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beach of Bliss is not my usual but it was a great escape! A perfect blend of paranormal romance and reality TV shenanigans. The supernatural contestants, the games, and those confessional-style intros at the start of each chapter had me hooked. It's lighthearted, fun, and totally binge-worthy. If you're looking for something charming, quirky, and just plain entertaining, this is it!
Supernaturally Perfect Book 1 Beach of Bliss by Quinn Zamora is a great story with fun characters, a strong FMC and part of the same world as Aztec Brides, which I absolutely loved!! I'm looking forward to more!!

thanks to netgalley for providing me an e-arc of this book!
y'all this was soooo fun. especially coming off the summer of love island television we had, this was a treat to read. it's your average fantasy romance, but the setting is so unique that it bumps it up for me. it's unlike anything else i've ever read, ate it up.
I love the worldbuilding and how this links to the Aztec Brides books.
I'm a big fan of powerful women and I really appreciate how Callie's strengths aren't physical, they are emotional and spiritual. I also love the sass. So much Sass!
This book had such great plot and character development and I loved the writing style and has just the right amount of depth and spice for a paranormal romance, loved the banter. Such a great book
What a great story! If you love cheesy dating shows, laughing out loud and real relationship convictions, this is the book for you. I couldn’t put this one down. The characters are three dimensional and dynamic. It’s fun, it’s serious just the right amount. Great book!
I really enjoyed this one! Fantasy romance with a kick of reality TV dating. The complexity of the characters was a big draw for me. Calliope needs to come out on top of this competition but does not expect to feel that draw to Vance. But of course there are so many bumps on their road. But that ending I need the next book ASAP!
