Bronwyn Pierce has poured everything into The Haven, her family's exclusive mountain resort in Gossamer Falls. Mo has spent years avoiding the woman he once loved and the secrets that tore them apart. But when Bronwyn calls, he can't walk away--especially when it's clear someone wants her gone for good. As they dig deeper into the treacherous motives behind a blackmail scheme, their proximity reignites long-buried feelings neither of them is ready to face. And when the evidence points to an unexpected culprit, Mo faces an impossible trust the proof in front of him or trust his heart.

With danger closing in and no one else to turn to, Bronwyn and Mo must break years of silence to uncover who's trying to destroy The Haven. They'll have to risk everything--including their hearts--to expose the truth before it's too late.

I loved it!! Last To Fall will keep you glued to the story and staying up way past your bed time. I know it did me. I just couldn't stop turning the pages and finished it in the wee hours of the morning.

I have loved each one of the Gossamer Falls series. I highly recommend them all!

"Whoever said blood was thicker than water hadn't known about the Pierce family." A tale of greed, conspiracy, and someone out to destroy the CEO of The Haven, likely one of her family members. "There was no trust. No love. No sense of togetherness. Lord, how did we get here? And how do I get out of this mess?"

Mo and Bronywn's story is THE BEST. They've had a complicated relationship over the years, from best friends to first love, to being torn apart, to unforgiveness and not speaking to one another. "But he was the one she needed now. He would come." We finally get the backstory of their relationship, and how they are once again in the same orbit trying to get to the bottom of what's going on while not getting killed.

While this story is filled with mystery, suspense, danger, and betrayal, it is also filled with very honest moments, a family made out of bonds, not blood, and a beautiful second chance at love. Readers will love this gripping tale!

Thank you to the author, publisher, and net galley for allowing me to read an early copy. All opinions are my own.

I have been waiting this entire series for Mo and Bronwyn to get together and this book did not disappoint. This Christian romantic suspense was a great read. Mo and Bronwyn were teenage sweethearts but then Bronwyn left unexpectedly and Mo left and joined the military. Years later they have learned how to be in company together but neither is talking to the other. We’ve been getting enemies to sweethearts vibes from these two this entire series. While this book is a stand-alone, you’ll love it more if you start with book one.

This book gives us both the past and the present and clears up a lot of questions and shows a lot of pain in the past. Bronwyn and Mo’s families have been at odds for so long. His are amazing and hers are not nice and have some criminal elements. When danger starts lurking, Mo and Bronwyn get closer together as he tries to protect her. I definitely didn’t want to put this book down and I totally binged it in a day.

I can’t wait to see what her next series holds and I’m excited to see more of some of these characters. One funny aspect of this book was a mention of a character’s alias and how unrealistic it is… but I literally have a brother-in-law with that same name! The romance is just kisses, intimacy level 1.5.

I received an ARC of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Oh my, this captivating, emotional story is worthy of more than 5 stars! I have been waiting patiently for Mo and Bronwyn’s story and it did not disappoint! Their story is heartbreaking, emotional, and yet filled with hope and promise.

Falling in love as young teens, life choices tore them apart and shaken their present, but when Bronwyn feels threatened, there is only one person she can trust, Mo Quinn. As they work to discover who is behind the danger, they have to learn to open up and trust each other and very possibly heal.

I absolutely loved this series and completely fell in love with the Quinn’s! This book captured my heart, soul, and mind and I hated to see it end. One of the best series I have read!

I have been waiting for Mo and Bronwyn's story since Never Fall Again, the first book in the series. Blackburn has been building up the tension and the painful past between these two until we finally learn what really happened in this final book. And she did not disappoint with the story or the suspenseful plot surrounding Bronwyn and her family. I loved the found family for Bronwyn and the closeness of the Quinn clan. I loved how Bronwyn's past was tied into the current plot against her and the way Mo came to her rescue time after time even when they weren't speaking to each other. I always love Lynn Blackburn's books and this one is a keeper!

Oh. My. Goodness! I have no words! This book was SOOOOO good! I absolutely loved the Mo and Bronwyn! And the story itself was SOOOO well written! This is probably my favorite in the series (the first and second were amazing as well)! This is definitely my favorite book I’ve read this year (and I’ve already read almost 40 books so that’s saying something)!

Finally, Bronwyn and Mo’s story! Lynn H. Blackburn’s concluding installment in the Gossamer Falls series—LAST TO FALL—delivers a bittersweet conclusion. Saying goodbye to these characters evokes a bit of emotion. The novel immediately draws you into a thrilling mystery, with family secrets and dysfunction playing a crucial role. The unraveling of Bronwyn and Mo’s early relationship and how they came to be at odds adds layers to the suspense, making their journey both relatable and gripping as they confront hidden truths and personal challenges. Blackburn gives a satisfying end to this series. Yet, if this is your first book in the series, it stands alone beautifully—but don’t be surprised if you find yourself wanting to go back to book one!

THE STORY: Bronwyn Pierce has poured everything into The Haven, her family's exclusive mountain resort in Gossamer Falls. But when financial discrepancies surface and the numbers suggest something far darker than simple mismanagement, she's forced to call on the one person with the skills to help her: Mo Quinn, a former Army intelligence officer, her first love, and the last person she ever wanted to trust again.

And when the evidence points to an unexpected culprit, Mo faces an impossible choice: trust the proof in front of him or trust his heart.

With danger closing in and no one else to turn to, Bronwyn must break years of silence with Mo to uncover who's trying to destroy The Haven. They'll have to risk everything--including their hearts--to expose the truth before it's too late.

5 STARS BECAUSE: Blackburn consistently delivers a masterful blend of mystery, suspense, romance, and faith that keeps me coming back. In #LasttoFall, the moment Bronwyn uncovers a shocking betrayal hidden within The Haven’s financial records instantly hooked me, setting the tone for a riveting plot. Mo’s journey—from guarded ex-Army intelligence officer to someone willing to confront old wounds—felt deeply authentic and made me root for him throughout. Blackburn stands out from other authors by seamlessly weaving emotional depth and faith into the heart of her suspenseful stories, making her characters feel real and their challenges relatable. If you love layered mysteries with heartfelt moments, you’ll find yourself wanting future stories after the last page.

“As they dig deeper into the treacherous motives behind a blackmail scheme, their proximity reignites long-buried feelings neither of them are ready to face,” the online description states of Lynn H. Blackburn’s novel, Last to Fall.

~ What ~
The third in the Gossamer Falls series, this 352-page advance reader copy is for readers who enjoy romantic suspense stories about forgiving the pain of the past to move on to the future. With no profanity but topics of verbal abuse, attempted murder, and death, it may not be appropriate for immature readers. The ending includes an excerpt from a new series by the author, her biography, and advertisements.

In this tale, thirty-four-year-old Bronwyn Pierce is now CEO of The Haven, an exclusive and secluded resort in North Carolina for the wealthy to get away. Although her family still holds the sins of her past against her, she is determined to uncover why she feels like she is being targeted. Mo Quinn, her first love whom she walked away from years ago and refuses to speak to, is the only one she trusts to help her find out who is after her and why.

~ Why ~
This quick read shows how hurtful words can scar the heart over the years to the possible point of no return. I liked how Mo tried to be patient with Bronwyn until she was ready to clear the air between them. The haves and have-nots of local families was well determined and written. Although it is the third book in the series and I have not read the others, it is a stand-alone read.

~ Why Not ~
Those who do not like a Christian-based story that centers on long-term friendships and forgiveness may not like this series, but only a few prayers and trusting in God are mentioned. Others may not care for the many characters intertwined in the previous books and revisited in this one.

~ Wish ~
Since there are three books in the series, a list of characters would be helpful for readers. While I appreciate the prayers, there is no mention of how to have a personal relationship with Jesus. I wish all pronouns of God were capitalized for reverence.

~ Want ~
If you want to read a tender story about forgiving others and oneself while dealing with family feuds, you may fall for this one.

“Whoever said blood was thicker than water hadn’t known about the Pierce family.”

This is the fourth and final book in the Gossamer Falls series by Lynn Blackburn…and it’s also my favourite. I know the author pours a ton of love and energy into each book, but I really felt it with her characters, Montgomery Quinn and Bronwyn Pierce, in this concluding novel. It was such a satisfying ending that I hugged my Kindle when I finished the book!

If you’ve read the previous three books, you’ll know that Bronwyn comes from a wealthy, sprawling family where there’s lots of drama and feuds. She’s the CEO of The Haven, her family’s exclusive mountain resort in Gossamer Falls, North Carolina. When she discovers that there are financial discrepancies in the resort’s accounting, she digs deeper and discovers something that could threaten her life. The only person who can help her fix it is the last person she wants to ask - her childhood friend and first love.

Former Army Intelligence officer Montgomery Quinn has known Bronwyn since the first day of elementary school and has loved her just as long. Something happened just before she graduated from high school, and she cut ties with Mo. He hasn’t stopped hoping for reconciliation and knows how dangerous it is to live in the past, so he’s willing to put past hurts behind him and help Bronwyn fight for The Haven and their future.

Blackburn has beautifully tied together forgiveness, family drama, blackmail, the value of long-term friendships, the lingering effects of hurtful words, and the sting of betrayal, but I’ll remember this book for what it reminded me about choices - “We all choose how we want to handle hard things.”

I loved Brownyn for her tenacity and her ability to keep her eyes set on her long-term vision, both for herself, her family, and for Gossamer Falls.

I loved Mo for his depth of love, his willingness to wait for Bronwyn to make the first move, and his ability to set the past behind him and move forward with hope and love.

I’m sad to finish this delightful series. It’s best to read the books in order so that you understand the family dynamics, but it can be read as a standalone.

I was gifted this copy and was under no obligation to provide a review.

The stunning conclusion to the outstanding Gossamer Falls series was all I could have hoped for and more! From the beginning, Mo and Bronwyn were mysterious characters, talking to everyone else and around each other. In this novel, we find out why they haven’t been speaking and a lot of the backstory behind Bronwyn’s mistrust and dislike of her own family members. Bronwyn is independent and capable, the CEO of her family’s luxurious resort, The Haven. When she thinks she is in danger, she seeks help from the Quinns, the family that her Pierce family despises and ostracizes. The Quinns offer advice, protection and more, especially when Mo, a forensic accountant, offers to check the books for her and find out if there is anything illegal going on. The plot is compelling and intricate, with lots of little must-know details that kept me engaged and guessing. I enjoyed seeing all of the characters from the previous books actively engaged in solving Bronwyn’s dilemma since this gave me snapshots of what has been happening in the lives of the others since the last novel. I thought that the action was gripping and addictive. The suspense continued to escalate as the danger got closer to Bronwyn, and the author did a magnificent job of breaking the tension at times with some laugh-out-loud banter between the characters. Under the surface of all of the mystery and suspense, there is a sparkling romance brewing, one that I was delighted to read about between such appealing characters. The suspense was addictive and the romance refreshing in this well-crafted and intriguing story. I loved every minute that I spent with the Quinns and Bronwyn and was thrilled to find out that they will be a small part of the next series as well. No fan of romantic suspense will want to miss out on this clever novel that balances action with romance in such a brilliantly captivating way!

THE PAST, THE PRESENT, AND THE FUTURE

“This isn’t a ‘define the relationship’ talk. Our relationship defies labels. It’s always been that way." ~ Mo Quinn

Author Lynn H. Blackburn crafts one of my favorite Christian Mystery and Romantic Suspense series, “Gossamer Falls." I adore the intricate plots and the way Blackburn beautifully depicts a close-knit family—siblings, cousins, lifelong friends—who’ve grown up together. The third installment, “Last To Fall," features Bronwyn Pierce and Montgomery “Mo" Quinn, delivering one of the most heartfelt love stories ever written, spanning past, present, and future, all colliding in a triumphant dance after overcoming impossible odds. Highly recommended!

Bronwyn and Mo became best friends in first grade, despite coming from vastly different worlds. Her family was cold, calculating, and unloving, while his was warm, accepting, loyal, and overflowing with love. Although her family initially didn’t approve of Mo, his family welcomed Bronwyn as one of their own. Their bond deepened in high school, when they knew they were soul mates, destined to love each other more profoundly than anyone else could. But a misunderstanding tore them apart, and they have been silent for years.

Now, Bronwyn oversees The Haven, her family’s mountain resort. She senses something is wrong, and yet, it is not the first time. This time, the stakes are even higher, with someone tampering with the finances. Knowing exactly who to call, she enlists Mo’s help and that of their lifelong friends. It takes all of them working together for Mo to unravel the mystery. Sparks reignite between them as Mo uncovers a long-standing blackmail plot. When Bronwyn’s office is bugged, and an attempt is made on her life, Mo realizes he cannot lose her again.

Lynn Blackburn stirs up mayhem, malice, and mischief in this gripping novel. It is impossible to put down. It is so exciting, you will want to devour it quickly, yet savor every word to prolong the thrill.

I read this book in one day almost in one sitting! I did not want to put it down. It honestly healed my book slump. Last to Fall is the third and final book in Lynn H Blackburn’s Gossamer Falls series. It did not disappoint at all! I loved Mo and Bronwyn!
They both felt so real and I loved reading about them falling in love. Both Mo and Bronwyn had a lot of growing to do, they had been angry for some time and were learning to move forward. I love that we got to know them better in this book, they both had a lot of layers.
Mo was such a sweetheart but he definitely had a lot of anger and frustration that he had to work through over the years. I love how throughout the book he turned to God and looked to his family for help. He loved Bronwyn but at the same time, he was scared to let her in. But it was sweet to see that he still wanted what was best for Bronwyn and would protect her with his life. I also love how he didn’t rush her but instead waited on her timing.
Bronwyn was so strong but she was struggling under the weight of everything around her. I loved seeing her growth. It was sweet to see Mo’s family come alongside Bronwyn, they became her family. Bronwyn had to learn to let go of her fears and let others in. I adored Bronwyn and sitting crossed legged is definitely the best.
The romance was slow burn because Mo and Bronwyn had a lot of history. They had to learn to forgive each other and love without fear. I loved how they felt real and learned to love each other in a genuine way. The suspense was just perfect, I didn’t know what was going to happen. The family scenes were everything. I loved everything about this book and I would totally recommend it! Last to Fall is a Christian romantic suspense.

Last to Fall is the final book in the Gossamer Falls series by Lynn H. Blackburn. I have to say I hate that this series had to end! Each successive book got better and better, and I think Last to Fall is my favorite overall. For fans of the series, this book features Bronwyn Pierce and Mo Quinn. Their stories have been hinted at in the previous novels, so I was excited to finally learn their backstory. While I generally like my romantic suspense heavy on the intrigue and danger and light on the romance, I have to say that the relationship between Mo and Bronwyn is what kept me turning the pages. Not that the mysterious goings-on weren’t page-turning. On the contrary, the nefariousness (is that a word, LOL) from both within Bronwyn’s family and external forces was great. There were rumors, innuendos, and some flying bullets that kept me on the edge of my seat. But . . . with this book being part Romeo/Juliet love story/tragedy, a best-friends-to-more-to-enemies backstory, and a redemptive story arc — let’s just say I loved the HEA that Blackburn had in store for these fun characters. All the characters from the previous two books and novella made an appearance, which I also loved. The ensemble cast made the theme of family even more powerful.

If you haven’t read this series, don’t miss one single word. You can now successfully binge-read to your heart’s joy. And Last to Fall is the icing on the cake! The copy I read contained a sneak peek at the next Blackburn series. Looks like I’ll get to visit Gossamer Falls again. Yippee!

Highly Recommended.

** “Stay sharp. Keep your eyes and ears open. Pay attention to weirdness. Don’t let pride keep you from reacting. We’d rather you cry wolf a hundred times than stay quiet and be eaten.” **

Lynn H. Blackburn provides a thrilling conclusion to her incredible Gossamer Falls series with “Last to Fall.”

When danger seems to come to Bronwyn Pierce, the CEO at The Haven resort, she turns to those closest to her: siblings Meredith and Mo and their cousin Cal. Bronwyn feels she’s being targeted, and her family members are probably responsible for trying to push her out of her position at the resort.

The group works together, along with their extended family members, spouses and fiancees, to figure out what is going on at The Haven and what devious actions are behind the plot.

Can Bronwyn ever feel safe again? And can she and Mo work past their former betrayals and draw close again?

As usual, Blackburn develops intriguing characters filled with courage but also relatable flaws and doubts. She also fills “Last to Fall” with several great themes, like references to the biblical story of the Prodigal Son; we all choose how to handle hard situations; you can’t logic your way out of fear; always pay attention but do react when you’re questioning your safety; let go of stubborness; and the incredible power of family.

She also includes several cute references to some classic literature, like “Anne of Green Gables,” so be on the lookout. Fans of Lynette Eason, Kelly Irvin, Terri Blackstock and Irene Hannon will love this novel, which is due out March 3.

Five stars out of five.

This is book #3 and the conclusion of the Gossamer Falls series. There is enough back-story to give the reader a glimpse into the background of this fascinating story, however, I highly recommend reading the previous two books to ger the entire fascinating picture of what came before.
Once again. Lynn Blackburn has kept me up far too late because this captivating story of corruption, money laundering, blackmail, murder, as well as other crimes, was nearly impossible to put down
Bronwyn, the CEO of her family’s upscale, exclusive, mountain resort, The Haven, is in her office at 3:00 AM, reviewing accounts that seem off, and not making sense. As a result, she sends out an e-mail, not only calling top level staff to a meeting, but also indicating her need for a forensic accountant. Much of the staff at The Haven are family members, either by marriage or being born into the powerful Pierce family. Among those who come to the meeting, is her long-time childhood friend and first love, Mo Quinn. Resulting from a disagreement a few years ago, Bronwyn and Mo haven’t spoken one word to each other in years. Mo, was brought in because technology expertise as well as forensic accounting knowledge.
This book takes the reader on a wild wide as Mo exposes evidence that clearly indicates someone is trying to destroy the resort. This is a story, along with the strong, relatable characters that has stayed with me long after the last page was turned.

"Her walls were coming down. She had to trust that he'd stand with her when the last one fell."

When Bronwyn Pierce suspects that something nefarious is going on between the lines of The Haven resort's financial spreadsheets, she resigns herself to asking the one person with whom she hasn't directly spoken to in years, Mo Quinn, to assist her. She and Mo have a conflicted history dating back to their childhood, when young love seemed as simple as holding hands by the waterfall.

Mo has been waiting. For what, he wasn't quite sure, but when Bronwyn expresses her need for his help, he puts his self-respect on the line and offers his technology skills. Unfortunately, keystrokes are no buffer against bullets and after realizing that the stakes are higher than anyone thought, Bronwyn's friends circle in tight, meaning that Mo and Bronwyn will eventually be forced to have the conversation that could make or break their hearts for good.

Honestly, I played tug-of-war through the first third of this book as I tried to determine whether or not I was reading a suspense sprinkled with romance or a romance sprinkled with suspense. Once I decided that this story was primarily a second chance romance I settled in and began deep diving between the shreds of Mo and Bronwyn's tattered past. As you might expect, the author did a remarkable job of replaying their circumstances while incrementally tiptoeing towards what would eventually become an amazing outcome.

"Last to Fall" is a romantic suspense. This is the third novel in the series, but it works as a standalone. Bronwyn and Mo were friends since they were very young despite the fact that their extended families disliked each other. We finally learned what happened to make Bronwyn decide to never speak to Mo again, and Mo promise not to talk to her until she did. I really wondered what events would make such behavior feel justified, but it did make sense. Now the problem is that Bronwyn needs Mo to figure out who's doing something hinky with the Haven's financials, and she thinks someone might be trying to kill her. Mo and Bronwyn communicated fine despite the no-direct-communication 'rule,' and they realized how much they still cared for each other (especially the more mature versions). Mo supported and protected Bronwyn, and she appreciated that he did this despite how she'd hurt him.

The main characters were engaging and reacted realistically to events. The suspense came from the threat to Bronwyn and everything coming to a boiling point with her family's scheming at the Haven and their trying to manipulate her. Mo said he'd handed the conflict with Bronwyn over to God, but there wasn't much reference to God beyond that. There was no sex or bad language. Overall, I would recommend this enjoyable suspense novel.

**Thank you to Revell Publishing for giving me an ARC of this book via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review!**

I have mixed thoughts about this book. First off, I had a wonderful time reading this book. I was invested in the story and the relationship between Bronwyn, Mo, and their families. The romance was cute and clean. There were mentions of God/prayer, but not anything of substance (which is what I find in most Christian suspense/romance books, so I wasn't too bothered). I loved the found family dynamic and the deep friendships between characters.

However, I did also have some issues with the story. For one, the mystery is a little confusing and (in my opinion) not wrapped up very well. There's an info-dump of sorts near the end to wrap up everything, but it's not super clear. There's a vibe of "the characters don't know what's going on either" that feels like a cop-out. Along the same lines, a big recurring plot point is that Bronwyn's family and Mo's family hate each other, but I read the whole book and I'm still really confused on why they hated each other. It honestly felt just like a really stupid feud that existed simply for convenience.

Overall, I had a pretty good time reading this, and if you want a quick romance read with elements of suspense, this is a pretty good choice. Just don't read it and expect a masterful plot and deep suspense.

Last to Fall
Lynn H. Blackburn
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bronwyn Pierce knows something isn't right at the exclusive mountain resort owned by her family. She understands the business and her role in running The Haven, but the financials aren't adding up. In fact, they seem to indicate that something more than simple mismanagement is taking place. There's only one person she can trust who has the skills needed to figure out what's going on, and she hasn't spoken to him in years.

Mo Quinn has spent years avoiding his first love. The secrets between them have created a wall that the former Army Intelligence officer can't seem to break through. When Bronwyn calls for help, he soon discovers a more sinister plot than either of them were expecting.

We were so pleased by the highly anticipated story of Mo and Bronwyn. Hurt and disappointment had separated these childhood friends, but loyalty supersedes any distance created to protect the ones they love. Blackburn draws the reader in to her immensely suspenseful story keeping us wondering until the very end. Each step along the way Lynn develops the characters and their relationship further. She helps us realize pain and blame are rarely one sided and taking responsibility can lead to release and resolution.

I enjoyed reading Last to Fall, the third book in Lynn H. Blackburn’s Gossamer Falls series set in North Carolina. Bronwyn Pierce is the CEO of The Haven, an exclusive mountain resort owned by the Pierce family. Bronwyn is dealing with feuding family factions. She is concerned about her safety because she has identified problems with The Haven’s accounts that will require a forensic accounting investigation.

Mo Quinn is an army veteran and IT security expert who lives in a tiny home on Quinn land. Bronwyn needs Mo’s forensic accounting expertise at The Haven. Mo and Bronwyn were childhood friends who have decades of complicated history. They coexist in the same friends group but won’t directly talk to each other.

I loved how Bronwyn and Mo’s romance is sweet and unusual in how it plays out. I was intrigued by what had gone wrong between them and appreciated how they’re forced to deal with their emotional baggage by working together to solve the mysteries at The Haven and keep Bronwyn safe.

I recommend Last to Fall to romantic suspense readers who like a twist on the enemies to love trope with a protector hero, forced proximity, small town family drama and relevant faith elements in the story.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Revell for the advanced reader copy.

I have been anxiously awaiting Last to Fall by Lynn H. Blackburn for a few months now. This book is the third book in the Gossamer Falls series. You could read it as a stand alone but it would be more enjoyable if you read the series in order.

This book is Bronwyn Pierce and Mo Quinn's story. I have been wondering about them since the series began. This book did not disappoint. Bronwyn is running The Haven, her family's exclusive mountain resort. She runs a tight ship and does a good job. . .but something is off and she can't put her finger on the problem. Mo is a former army intelligence officer so she asks for his help in finding a problem in the book-keeping that her gut tells her is there. She also feels she is being watched. Her family has a lot of issues and she isn't sure how the "bad" guys are in this situation. Can they figure it out before her time runs out?

I read Last To Fall in a day and enjoyed it all. I liked how the relationship developed between Mo and Bronwyn. There are a lot of flashbacks as we learn more about their relationship but I never found any of that confusing. I also liked the twists and turns in this book as the plot kept me guessing. The conclusion was more than satisfying. I was happy with the ending. . .but I am a bit sad it is over. Sigh.

I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher. All opinions are my own.

Despite family wishes and demands to the contrary, Mo and Bronwyn have been friends since they were small. When friendship develops into something more in their teen years, it looks like forever may be in their future. But when Bronwyn leaves with a practical stranger, Mo is left to pick up the pieces. Joining the military was his solution, carrying all of his anger and hurt with him. Upon returning home, he developed his computer skills into something magnificent and sometimes questionable.

After years of ridicule and strife from her family, Bronwyn's life revolves around The Haven, her family's exclusive resort that caters to the rich and famous. Working long hours and caring for those who truly care for her have worn her down and now someone is trying to take her company from her; she needs help and it looks like Mo is the only one who can and will help her, despite the hurt she brought in the past.

Can they solve the mystery before someone ends up hurt or killed? Bullets fly and feelings arise in this romantic suspense filled with rich scenery, savvy characters, and just the right amount of romance!

I received an ARC from NetGalley and the author; however, my review is my own opinion and done of my own volition.

Finally! I have been waiting for Bronwyn and Mo to have their say. And, boy, there was a lot that needed to be said, even though the two did not talk to each other for majority of the book. We got glimpses of their friendship and relationship through flashbacks, starting from when they first met and working forward to present time. It was a bit crazy how unhinged the Pierces were as a family and a wonder that Bronwyn turned out ok. The Quinn family was delightful as always and I loved getting reacquainted with Cal and Landry, Meredith and Gray, and Donovan and Cassie. Mo was a rock - steadfast, loyal, and logical - even in the face of threats and danger. I loved watching him with the multitude of children in the story; his heart-warming interactions with them added another dimension to his character. Bronwyn was strong, persistent, and dedicated to keeping The Haven a safe place for her guests even when she was under direct attack. I did not expect such a complex web of deceit to be at the root of trouble and danger but it was quite satisfying when things were sorted out. I loved catching up with Sabrina and Adam from The Dive Team Investigation series in this book as they made their cameo appearance.

I have been (not so patiently) waiting for the release of Mo and Bronwyn's story. I'm so excited that it's FINALLY here and it was totally worth the wait. Lynn H. Blackburn takes us through Mo and Beep's drama while pulling back the curtain on their history together (and apart). There is so much to unpack! This story is full of heartache, misunderstandings, righteous anger, broken families, unmet expectations, forgiveness, hope, love, restoration, excitement, danger, fear, and celebrations. You're going to enjoy the ending!
I like how the author pulled in the whole cast of characters for this one. I'm truly sorry to see this group go. Do you think the author is sure this is the series finale??? I can't get enough of Granny and Papa Quinn! (Perhaps there's a backstory waiting to be written?!) :o)
I have nothing but praise for this series and this finale. It was well written and brought the characters to life in a way I felt like I connected with them.
Thank you to NetGalley, Revell and the author for the opportunity to read this book. And I wholeheartedly support it. All opinions are my own.

Once again, Lynn H. Blackburn has delivered an intriguing suspense read that kept me glued to my seat... with characters I couldn't help but be drawn in by. This is exactly what I've come to expect when I pick up one of her books, and this one certainly met that expectation as well. Mo and Bronwyn had a rather long and complicated history, which immediately drew me in to their story. I do love a good second chance romance after all. They had a lot of growing to do throughout, but I loved watching that growth throughout their story. This one was full of family drama and betrayal... but in the end, it was also a story filled with forgiveness as well and one that I found myself really enjoying. If you enjoy Christian romantic suspense, this one is definitely worth the read.

Last to Fall is a Christian romantic suspense. It is the third and final book in the Gossamer Falls series. While you may recognize a few familiar characters dropping in, I do think it could be enjoyed as a standalone as well.

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

Wow! This book just made the top of my list in romantic suspense. I could sit here and read it again right now.

The chemistry between Bronwyn and Mo is off the charts but what I appreciated most is the glimpse into their past juxtaposed against where they ended up, and the raw emotions experienced when they find their way through past hurt to a new beginning.

Suspense bleeds from the pages with attempted murder, money laundering, family drama, creepy guests at the Haven, and numerous suspects things couldn’t have been more intriguing.

The character development was so real I wanted the characters to be real people I could interact with. I loved the Quinn family. Their closeness, love, and interactions took the story to a whole new level.

Faith is woven through the book in an organic way that was realistic and individual. It was presented in a way that would touch both Christian and non-Christian alike.

I recommend this excellent book given to me courtesy of Revell through NetGalley. This is my honest opinion of the book.

Adding this one to the list of books finished at 3am! I simply had to find out where all the threads would lead and what this happily-ever-after was going to look like.

This series definitely builds on itself, and I definitely recommend reading it in order. I think someone picking up this book first would miss so many important background things, prior relationships, and especially since we’ve been wondering for 2.5 books exactly what happened between Mo and Bronwyn.

What I especially liked about this book was the slow building of the flashbacks, starting when Mo and Bronwyn first met when they were 5, until we finally get the reveal of what happened between them. It’s as ugly and as messy as I could have imagined, but oh the storyline of forgiveness and putting aside past hurts to move forward is just so fantastic. You ache with them and rejoice with them. It was so utterly compelling.

I received a complementary copy of this book from the author and publisher. I was not asked to leave a positive review. My opinions are my own.

Last to Fall by Lynn H. Blackburn is the third and final book in the Gossamer Fall Series. This is a fast-paced Christian suspenseful romance story that is well written and easy to read. The book is so well written it is easy to imagine. I especially enjoy how the friends have each built little houses near each other, how close they are to each other, and how quick they are to drop what they are doing and help each other. This story is so good, I found myself not wanting to put it down. There are many twists and turns throughout the story to keep it interesting to the last word.
This is a nice story of second chance at romance for Bronwyn and Mo. I like how quick Mo is to help her out even though they are not on talking terms. I like how quick the friends come up with a plan to help Bronwyn when they find out her office is bugged. I found this to be humorous, to totally redecorate. The suspense and mystery behind who is causing the issues caught me by surprise as did the plans her grandmother made.
I voluntarily received a complimentary copy of this book, this is my honest review.

Last to Fall wrapped up the Gossamer Falls series beautifully. For two books, we've been teased about Mo and Bronwyn's shared, extremely rocky, past. For two books, they never said one word directly to each other. Finally, we get to see them work everything out. Right? Halfway through the book, and they still haven't spoken to each other, but their chemistry and forgiveness of each other simmers just below the surface the entire time. I love how Mo looks out for Bronwyn, carefully orchestrating her safety, meals, and sleep without a word. And when they do start speaking? Sparks and bullets fly!

The drama at The Haven comes to a head, and the wrap-up of all that, which started at least a book and novella ago, is well done and satisfying. The moments of suspense are page-turning, and the family dynamics (at least on the Quinn side) are oh-so-sweet. But Mo and Bronwyn's love story takes center stage as the best thing about this book.

Don't miss this final installment of the Gossamer Falls series!

Last to Fall is the absolute BEST! Lynn Blackburn slammed so much drama, romance, and redemption into this book that I'm going to need some time to recover. Mo and Bronwyn's story hits all the right notes.

I absolutely love how she wraps up this series. Mo's story arc is absolutely perfect because we see him grow not only through this book but throughout the series. Bronwyn's backstory is so much deeper, more painful, and yet so much better than I expected. Blackburn's brutal to her characters - can they go through any more pain? - and yet she brings them through these trials by fire both battle-tried and experienced. I'm a big fan of this kind of growth in novels, and I can't wait to see what Blackburn does next.

So if a dramatic romance with a deep backstory and unknown bad guys are your jam, put Last to Fall on your TBR list today.

This third book in the Gossamer Falls series is an absolute treat for lovers of Christian romantic suspense!
To fully appreciate the characters in this novel, I would recommend reading books 1 and 2 beforehand (they are both fabulous!), by which time you will be dying to know Bronwyn and Mo’s story!
Bronwyn Pierce has a troubling past, but now excels in running her family’s exclusive mountain resort in Gossamer Falls.
Mo Quinn is a former Army Intelligence officer‚ and was Bronwyn’s first love back in the day.
When Bronwyn discovers some serious financial issues within the company, Mo is the one she needs to turn to.
Amidst family feuds, blackmail, shootings, complex relationships, and even murder, Bronwyn and Mo lean on their faith and address their heartbreaking past in order to move on together and find the truth in this nail-biting second chance romance.
I received a complimentary copy from Revell through Interviews & Reviews in exchange for my honest opinion.
