He had no idea what tomorrow held. But for now, she was his.

A sexy, captivating and thrilling conclusion to a trilogy that captured me from the very start! If you haven't met Hudson Chase, you haven't lived. The man is intense, sinfully sexy, protective, with a touch of broody. While I'm not usually a reader of trilogies since my attention span seems to wane somewhere around book 2, I've been dying to get my hands on this book for one reason and one reason only: Hudson.

Release Me ended on a cliffhanger that was guaranteed to leave readers desperately panting for the final book. After everything that Allie and Hudson have been through, will the secrets that Hudson kept from her and a man determined to ruin everything finally tear them apart? I already knew that Julian was going to be playing a huge role in everything that happens in Reclaim Me from the events of Release Me. And now he finds himself with an ace in the hole with the information he's holding against Allie. He's determined to get what he believes is rightfully his; Ingram media. This was one villain that I loved to hate. What a slimy, little asshole this one was. Everything considered, however, the suspense part of the story really took a backseat to Allie and Hudson's relationship. I never thought I'd find myself saying this; but there was a touch too much sex in this story. So much so, that it almost felt like filler at parts. I could have done with less of that and more fleshing out of the actual plot. As it was, I found a lot of it to be almost overshadowed by the amount of sex that took place.

Not to say that I complained too much because said sex happens with Hudson and there's never a dull movement with that man. He's that good. Add in a touch of humor and I was putty in his very skilled hands.
How was that?"
"Amazing...Adventurous. Arousing...Awesome."
He chuckled quietly. "Allie's orgasm brought to you by the letter 'A'?"

My only other minor quibble is the big secret from Hudson's past that has been hovering over him and Allie like a dark shadow for the last two books. I suppose that I built it up in my head and that's mainly to blame for my finding the big reveal to be anticlimactic , but it did explain quite a few things.

For those that enjoy a thrilling trilogy with intense alpha males that are as protective as they are kinky, this is surely not to be missed. While I enjoyed the previous two books more, the conclusion was still highly satisfying. I'm definitely a big fan of these two authors and look forward to whatever they have in store for the future.

A sexy hot and exciting end to the sizzling whirlwind second chance romance trilogy. Through good times and bad the love and chemistry between the main characters only intensifies.
“I promise to be your lover and your companion, your greatest fan and your most challenging adversary... And to communicate truthfully and fearlessly.”

When we last left Allie and Hudson, Alessandra hast just learned about a cover-up that Hudson had kept secret and could ruin him and his brother Nick, from a man she would rather never see again. Her violent and disgruntled ex-fiancée, Julian Laurent, feels he’s owed Ingram Media and he’s put into motion a nefarious plan to take over and own not just Allie but the entire Sinclair legacy.

After hearing Julian’s shocking revelations and under duress Allie leaves Hudson. Will she let Hudson believe the ruse and lose everything, including the only man she’s ever loved to protect him or will she trust in him and work as team to fight for their happy ever after?
“Whatever it is, I can protect you.”
She looked up at him through tear-filled eyes. “No, you don’t understand. I’m the one who’s protecting you.”

Hudson Chase hasn’t achieved success by mere chance. He’s a determined and ruthless man who’s willing to go the distance to attain his goals. Losing the woman he’s loved since forever is not an option. But he has secrets that he knows could destroy him, and he never thought they’ve be the obstacles he’d have face to have Alessandra Sinclair by his side or that they could put her in danger. How much is he willing to risk for her? For them? For forever?

A wonderful end to this heart-stopping trilogy. Reclaim Me starts right where Release Me ends with all the threats and danger that go along with the extortion and secrets that the hero and heroine where exposed to at the end of Release Me leaving us in a shocking cliffhanger.

I was hesitant to find out how they would tackle this complication, fearing they would try to foolishly handle it separately in the name of protecting each other. But it was all for naught, because Allie and Hudson unite in an unbreakable bond.

Even with the menace hanging over them and their time to break free of Julian’s hold running out they plot and manage to find time for themselves resulting in even more romance, scorching sexiness and mouthwatering sweetness than before. From cooked meals by Mr. Chase himself, to quick trysts in lonely offices, to secret incredibly romantic weekend getaways at the lake. We get to know what haunted Hudson’s dreams, they commit totally and absolutely to each other, without reservations, and I enjoyed every single swoony minute of it.
“Strip for me,” Hudson ordered from somewhere in the shadows. His voice held that hard authoritative edge that never failed to send a jolt of pleasure straight to her core. “I want to see what’s mine.”

I won’t delve into the plot any further so as to not spoil you. So I’ll skip right over to how much I loved Hudson. A professed anti-romantic that goes deliciously gooey over Allie. The way he cherishes and takes care of her is enough for any girl to go ga-ga over. Add to that his alpha caveman tendencies and the delectable image the authors have given us for his physical attributes and Allie wasn’t the only goner for the Tempting Tycon.
“You’re my f*cking world, Allie. The air I breathe. You are the love of my life. You were ten years ago, you were now, and you always will be. Forever.”

And let’s not forget about the incredible attraction and hot stolen moments these two had. No place was off limits and not even the fact that they had to hide their relationship would deter them.
“How was that?” he asked, pressing a soft kiss to her lips.
“Amazing.” She leand her head against his shoulder and a quiet giggle escaped her lips. “Adventurous, Arousing… Awesome.”

I also enjoyed the time Hudson spent with Nick, and Allie spent with her BFF Harper and Harley, the Yorkie adopted by Nick who brought out the cute crabby side out of Hudson. I hope we get at least a novella about these two charming secondary characters.

Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers did an incredible job of writing and exciting and sexy romance series. Reclaim Me is book #3 in the Chasing Fire trilogy. It’s told from both points of view. The story has a happy ending and I advise you read these books in order.

You’re my fucking world, Allie. The air I breathe. You are the love of my life. You were ten years ago, you were now, and you always will be. Forever.

Reclaim Me is the third and final installment in the Chasing Fire series.

In the last book, we were left high and dry on a cliffhanger and this is what really pushed me to finish the trilogy.
Reclaim Me picks up right were the last book ended and I was glad for that, as layers of secrets, betrayal and threats were adding up and I needed to see the end of it!

This book ties up all problems Allie and Hudson faced since book 1 and was really focused on the romance part. Or should I say their smut fest.
You read that right. If I thought book 2 was a bit too much focused on Hudson and Allie’s preferences in bed, I need to re-evaluate my statement. Reclaim Me blows up the charts of hotness with some fuck-hot sex scenes!

I could complain about them, because really, they kind of stole the show in this last part of the Chasing Fire trilogy, but sex scenes starring Hudson Chase should be considered a gift to womankind.

Don’t believe me? Hudson Chase made this trilogy worth reading, for me. Alpha male awesomeness.

Overall I enjoyed this trilogy as a whole, I really think it could have been tied up in 2 books, as I was struggling with this one, but as I said it many times, I enjoyed every little snippet of the male character and would definitely read more of him.

This is a great finish to the Chasing Fire trilogy, and a beautiful ending for the epic second-chance-romance that is Allie and Hudson’s story.

This book picks up immediately where book 2 - Release Me - ended with that nasty and ridiculously stupid cliffhanger. Yes, after the blissful love-fest that was the last book, it ended on a in a way that had me rolling my eyes and wanting to smack somebody. But thank God, it doesn’t drag on, and there is an appropriate and fully justified verbal smack down which made me feel a lot better.

It’s the events surrounding that awful cliffy that provides the drama for this book, and it’s all very intense. The reveal of tragic secrets, betrayal, blackmail, threats, danger and violence all come crashing down upon our reunited lovers, but the way they handle it is sensational! They are together now, and wholly committed to each other and they don’t let anything stand in their way of their happy ever after. It takes a bit of artful manoeuvring, but they manage to make things work while dealing with the new threat over their happiness, and the suspense and excitement is blended really nicely with the continuing romance.

Because that’s what it’s all about – the romance, and OMG, it’s a swoonfest! There’s no holding back between these two anymore, they are completely open to each other about everything, they hold nothing back, and it’s gorgeous to read.

You’re my fucking world, Allie. The air I breathe. You are the love of my life. You were ten years ago, you were now, and you always will be. Forever.

And hot! SO freaking hot! Like the other two books in the trilogy, there is SO much sex in this book, all very descriptive, and it is sizzling! There’s lots of hot, possessive dirty talk “you are mine” … “this is mine”… you know how it goes… and it all adds to the very intense chemistry between them. They are insatiable, and their need for each other is shown physically and emotionally every single time they come together.

No one had ever affected her the way Hudson did. Her reaction to him was more than physical; it was raw and primal and as essential as the air she breathed. He was what she needed, what she craved.

So it’s with a great mix of sexy, swoony romance, some light funny moments, drama and suspense that the story comes to its exciting conclusion. Of course, there is a HEA, and it’s just what I wanted for these characters – including the addition of the side story featuring the secondary characters.

Allie and Hudson’s story is well told, and I’ve really enjoyed getting lost in these books.

3.5 stars.

This was such an awesome conclusion to the trilogy. Loved how everything played out!

Hudson and Allie are such fantastic characters. I love their passion, commitment, and strength. I loved watching them grow together even more and watch their amazing chemistry explode. Explode they do because these together are so incredibly hot, I can't even properly describe it. Seriously hot! There’s a lot of back and forth of want and need, I love the push and pull they have on one another. Besides the hot, there are these fun, playful moments and I thought it was all really well rounded. They also had a really wonderful romantic moment that made me melt, it was beautiful. I love them together and can’t say enough good things.

This starts right where book two leaves off and there is drama and intensity right from the get go. It stressed me out! I love how it all came together and how it was dealt with even though it created a lot of tension. Julian totally makes my skin crawl but he is an excellent bad guy. I loved the cloak and dagger that was happening as well. I had a ton of questions – new and old – and they were all answered.

Besides Allie and Hudson, there was were a few side stories happening that I adored and made me extremely happy. I really loved Hudson and Nick’s relationship, I'm a sucker for male bonding. Super sweet ending too, I couldn't have asked for more.

I loved both Remind Me (book 1) and Release Me (book 2). I don’t know if I can say more than I have already said in previous reviews. This was just a great story with solid writing. There was a nice amount of drama, a lot of emotion, and super hot times! I thought the pace was great and I was invested from start to finish. I thought there was a really good balance throughout. I'm going to miss Hudson and Allie! Excellent story and series! I highly recommend the Chasing Fire series. :-)

Unbelievably romantic and undeniably sexy, Walker & Rogers finished this series with flourish. I didn’t know if I could love Hudson more, but yet there I was, swooning and trying to climb my way inside my kindle.

We pick back up with Allie as she’s frantically trying to make covert moves to protect Hudson from Julian. Hudson, being the awesome man that he is, isn’t fooled. I have never been so thankful for their close connection than in the beginning of this book. I’m trying not to be spoilery, but my heart was jumping out of my chest and I was chewing on a nail while I prayed that the secrets would come to light. Just breathe. It’ll be ok. PROMISE.

The sex is, once again, outstanding. I am now a complete and utter believer in office sex. Sign me the fuck up. But what I love about this series is that while the sex is plentiful (and so freaking hot) this series is about so much more. Hudson’s deep growls, thoughtful planning, and panty-melting smile had my knees weak and my heart swelling. If you’re looking for a romantic book – you need this series.

Reclaim Me is romance at its finest.

While the focus is always on Hudson – ok, my focus is always on Hudson – let’s not forget about Allie. She is one headstrong heroine and I loved her. She takes control, doesn’t fall into a haze of idiocy and runs that company flawlessly. A million cheers for Allie!

As the danger ratchets higher and higher, and the stakes couldn’t be greater, Allie & Hudson’s love shines the brightest. There are so many incredible moments in this story that you need to experience. From the searing kisses to the holding of hands, every touch, every glance, and every moment between Allie & Hudson is magic. This series swept me away.

Reclaim Me has all the feels, suspense and heat you’ve come to expect from these authors. I want to hug these books so hard. LOVED!

5 Stars #2015FavoriteSeries #2015FavoritePowerCouple

Why, oh why, why does it have to end? Hudson and Allie are simply one of my favorite couples of 2015 and I’m going to miss them.

It’s been quite the journey, from that first dance at the charity event, to the boardroom of Ingram media. Reclaim Me is an absolutely spectacular ending to the Chasing Fire series by Ann Marie Walker and Amy K Rogers. I fell hard for Allie and Hudson and soooo needed for them to get to a place where they might find an HEA. The authors developed a storyline with the perfect balance of mystery, intrigue and romance which hooked me from the start.

The story picks up where Release Me left off; Allie is in a precarious and frightful position. There was no telling how things were going to play out. There was no telling how things were going to play out. I felt myself cringe in fear at the thoughts running through her head. She's about to undo so much; one step forward, then ten steps back. However, Allie has changed and when confronted, we see a fierce Allie who is more cunning than I ever anticipated. I LOVE this “protective” side of her. Of course Hudson, being the Alpha man he is needs to be reminded that “You want to be in this together, that goes both ways.” Our girl, when backed against the wall, shows some spine.

As for Hudson. He’s in good company with the Gideon Cross’ and Christian Grey’s of the literary world. Shrewd, smart, self-made and sexy, Hudson is the creme de la creme of the Alpha’s. Walker and Rogers developed one of the most perfect male characters, in the erotic romance genre, with some very unforgettable traits. He’s uber protective of Allie, but their relationship has finally morphed to a place where he knows her and he calls her out on some foolish behavior. Which saves the day and helped keep the plot relatively angst free.

Reclaim Me really seemed to be about resolution; Allie faces down her ex, opens up and finally shows Hudson how much she really does trusts him, and receives justice for acts committed against her parents. Hudson provides Allie with a safe place, and uses his resources and influence to ensure justice. Their love and devotion is renewed and they continue to share an intense passion, demonstrated in wonderfully written sex scenes.

From the moment Hudson spies Allie at the museum event and requests a dance with her, there wasn’t a chance he was going to surrender her, a second time, to another man. Allie and Hudson’s renewed relationship is one of my favorite types; a second chance love story. They weather test after test and find themselves on the winning end of things. Hudson’s actions to reclaim her made for a wonderful series!

This - THIS - is everything a series ender should be. There was danger and mystery and angst and some of the best romantic moments ever. Reclaim Me was the best way to close the book on Alessandra and Hudson's story.

After a crazy cliffhanger at the end of Release Me, I went into Reclaim Me feeling a bit trepidatious. Allie's horrible ex had cornered her, both literally and figuratively. She had very real reason to fear for both hers and Hudson's lives.

Now, see, I'm always a big fan of communication. I hate it when characters make decisions for their loved ones out of some misplaced sense of protection. They martyr themselves and become miserable, when, if they had just explained how they felt or what was going on and approached the problem together, it all could've turned out better for everyone. Allie had the perfect opportunity to act in that way here, and for awhile I thought I'd spend the entire book being frustrated at her actions and lack of trust in Hudson's ability to help her handle the situation.

However, Allie was an amazingly awesome heroine. She remembers how badly she functioned without Hudson in her life, and decides to not repeat past mistakes. And, thus, she and Hudson set out together to try and thwart Julian's plans and still remain together. Which is not an easy feat when it seems that Julian has them bested at every turn.

Julian was a truly loathsome man. There was not one single redeeming quality about him. Never once did he show remorse for his actions or any true affection for Allie. It made it easy to hate him. He was a great villain.

The shining star in Reclaim Me was Hudson, though. This dreamy man knows how to woo a woman. And, when that woman is THE woman, it's even better. Reclaim Me is told in dual POV, so we get to hear both Allie's and his thoughts on the events as they are unfolding. We witness Hudson's intense frustration at his inability to fix things right away. We witness his continually growing feelings for Allie, which I promise you will make you swoon HARD. And, we witness Hudson in full alpha mode as he wrangles the people around him and works his angles to help the woman he loves.

I really loved the fleshing out of the side relationship between Hudson's brother Nick and Allie's BFF Harper. Nick has come a very long way since book 1, and he's now a reliable source of advice and comfort for his big brother. And, Harper has always been Allie's voice of reason. Together, Nick and Harper are just what Allie and Hudson needed in this really difficult time.

Despite how nail biting Reclaim Me was, I was so sad to see Allie's and Hudson's story come to a close. It was a crazy, sexy, exciting ride, though, and one that I really enjoyed.

Ann Marie and Amy, this book was amazing. It was a perfect ending for this love story.

I love to read trilogies and The Chasing Fire Trilogy immediately skyrocketed to the top of my 2015 favorite books list. You see Ann Marie and Amy created this amazing series that captivated me from the very start. Their muse or inspiration for their male protagonist Hudson, was David Gandy. Enough said. Wow! I’m a Gandy girl and I will tell you, he is the perfect Hudson. Trust me, this is a series I am sure you will love.

Reclaim Me is the final book in this trilogy. This book picks up where the last book leaves you, hanging and full of angst. Alessandra and Hudson are in France. Harper, Allie’s best friend has flown to meet her there. And, the arrogant French ass Julian is back with his own agenda for Allie and Hudson.

Once back in Chicago, Allie and Hudson have plenty to deal with. Julian is making sure Allie complies with his plan. Many revelations are made along the way. Lets just say, life becomes more complicated for Allie and Hudson. (no spoilers)

Allie wants to protect Hudson and Nick while Hudson wants to protect Allie.

Hudson continues to be the commanding alpha male I love so much while still showing a lighter and more humorous side. Look out for some fun and sexy text messages along the way too. Hudson also knows how to romance his lady. Yes, Hudson even dabbles in poetry. He will stop at nothing to show his love for Allie.

One of the reasons why I enjoyed this book so much is because all of the secondary characters stand out. We learn more about them and ultimately love them more. They truly play important roles in Hudson and Allie’s lives. They help to make this story complete.

Nick, Hudson’s brother is on the right track. And, if you made the same prediction I made in Release Me, you’ll be thrilled to learn more about his personal/love life in this book. His relationship with Hudson is stronger as well. I loved the sibling bonding, especially a certain bow tie scene. I’d love to read more about Nick in another book. (Please)

Collin, Allie’s assistant proves to be a great friend too. He’s always had Allie’s back and turns out to be an invaluable and trustworthy employee as well.

Harper, the bff. She’s sassy and full of life. I’ve always loved her and I was excited to see how her personal life unfolded as well. Let’s just say, Harper and Allie have similar taste in men.

(As an Ian Somerhalder fan, I loved the bar scene. Just saying. :) )

Prepare yourself for a thrill ride through Chicago. You’ll find adventure, love, angst, humor, hope, romance, revelations from the past, friendship, an adorable puppy, and lots and lots of steamy sex in this final book.

Will Allie and Hudson find their happily ever after?

Writing this review was bittersweet and difficult. I didn’t want Hudson and Allie’s story to end and at the same time, I wanted to share the story with you. But, I can’t spoil it. You will have to get the book/series and read for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

I loved all of the books in this series. However, Reclaim Me is my favorite. The intensity of their love, their passion and unwavering pursuit for a happy ending makes this such a spectacular read.

So if you haven’t started this series, one click it today. Happy reading!
I gave this book 5 steamy stars!

Reclaim Me is a sensational end to a series that has captured my heart and I couldn't have asked for a better ending. The entire series has been engrossing; with drama, intrigue, mystery, murder and a sexy, dreamy love story.

Reclaim Me picks up right where Release Me ended and even with the cliffhanger ending to Release me, I was quite unprepared to dive right into the intrigue. 10% in and I was ready to throw my tablet away. Just when Allie and Hudson are about to settle into and enjoy their relationship, Julian returns like a specter, ready to ruin everything and I really couldn't see a way out for them. The stakes are very high and it's time for Allie and Hudson to bring their 'A' game and outwit Julian if they want to get their happy ending.

I can't express how much I love Allie and Hudson and their utter devotion to each other. Allie is determined to protect Hudson, even if it means sacrificing herself and her happiness, but thankfully she made the right decision to trust Hudson. Hudson is quite fierce in his bid to protect Allie and is ready to expend unlimited resources to deal with Julian and the threat he poses to all of them and I absolutely love how protective of Allie he was. But what I love the most is that in spite of all his wealth, the one thing he treasures over above everything else is Allie. Seriously, how can anyone not love this man? The way he loves her, the fact that he can't breathe without her and just how far he would go to protect her. I love a man in touch with his romantic side and Hudson really pulled out the stops for Allie.

The secondary characters - Nick, Harper and Collin- also add to the story. In spite of the turmoil surrounding Allie and Hudson, they can count on these three to lighten things up and I loved it. And the budding romance between Nick and Harper is something I would like to see in a book of its own.

Reclaim Me is a really beautiful and enduring love story with intense passion and unwavering commitment and that's what makes this such a wonderful conclusion to the series. I really can't wait to see what's coming next from these authors.

I'm sad to see this trilogy go it was such a whirlwind from start till the very end. The story of Hudson and Allie is so beautiful. the authors did a great job,it flowed perfectly and was amazingly written. They way the interpreted the whole story to the feelings of both main characters. They kept me of the edge of my seat with how unpredictable Julian was.

The book picks up right where it left off. I don't know if it was just me but the pace of this book was more fast then the first two. Maybe it felt like that with everything that was going on around them. I had to reread through a couple of page because I just couldn't believe what was going on. It seem like after the go through one hurtle another ten were put in it place. Allie and Hudson, together they made a powerhouse and breezed through them without phasing them. It was a pleasure being able to read and see how they developed together and a unit.

The only thing unpleasant in this book is Julian. Even thought yes, he was smart but, not the sharpest tool in the shed. i'm just going to say that he deserved what he got! On another note their was a sweet scene between Hudson and Nick I just couldn't help and smile and laugh. Nicky has truly been growing up to be a good man all thanks to Hudson and the redhead, Harper.

Never a dull moment in this book. Roller coaster if I had two words to describe this book that would be it. That just what it was a roller coaster of emotions. There was a lot happening from all sides I don't know how they put all those vents into one book.

Note to the authors: Please can we have a little Novella in the future pretty please :) .

Ahhh, the third and last book in this series that has left me breathless this past week. I'm so glad I only decided to start reading this series when this last one was released because there is no doubt in my head that I would have gone stir crazy while I waited for the new books to come out.

As with the last book, this one started right after the second one left off. It was sooo good to read that Hudson was someone who didn't give up very easily on Allie. I mean, it was evident from how he turned his life around. But when the possibility that Allie may have left him, the first thing that came to his mind wasn't that she did. Thankfully, with his persistence and determination to find her, he was able to manage to find her when lesser alphas would've automatically judged her unworthy to be chased after.

Everything has finally unraveled. I like the little and not-so-little surprises in this book. This book made me cry in happiness and sadness in the space of an hour or two, damn it. Oh Lord, I am officially in love with this story, if I wasn't already. With our hero and heroine steadfast in their love, come what may, the story actually became bigger than just being theirs. There really was no question about their relationship and where it will lead. The entire journey of this whole series was just a picture of how they will get there. And oh, don't let the cover of this book fool. Nope, don't get your hopes up. *wink, wink*

PS--At the risk of being stoned, let me just say that even if this entire series was inspired by the David Gandy, I had a hard time imagining him as 29-year old Hudson. So I had Andrew Cooper in my head all this time in my head instead. Sorry, I'm not sorry.

PEPPER'S REVIEW

***NOTE - If you haven't read REMIND ME (Chasing Fire #1) or RELEASE ME (Chasing Fire #2) don't read this review - SPOILERS!!!***

Read Pepper's review for REMIND ME HERE and RELEASE ME HERE

(this will be the only non David Gandy gif, FYI)

Well shit. It's over. Hussandra's saga is OVER! It's the only part about this book and this trilogy I didn't like. That it ended. Ugh.

So, we left these two lovers in an insane cliff at the end of RELEASE ME. Thank God this book starts right where Book #2 leaves us dangling for our lives.

OK, so if you've read my other two reviews, then you will know I am OBSESSED with Hudson. You are a crazy person if you don't agree. I'm sorry - it's true. Just real quick to refresh your memories:

Exhibit A:

Exhibit B:

(are you fucking kidding me with this?!?)

Exhibit C:

Anywhoodles - Hussandra is in a huge tumultuous breakup after RELEASE ME. And this book takes us on the journey of them figuring out the mystery behind Julian's (Allie's ex) bullshit. We also uncover what Hudson has been hiding. And we have A LOT more of Hussandra and their sexcapades!!!

What I was SUPER pumped about was more of Nick and Harper - SPIN OFF PLEASE!!! Also, Nick's adopted Yorkie?!? I'm a big proponent for fur babies in my love nest novels - and this was no exception! The best part was that Hudson was sort of not a fan. This brought out some comic relief and I was just enamored! Because...this:

Lovers! You MUST read this series. It's so damn good. Aside from the fact that Hudson is my vagina's dream man, it's SUCH a great trilogy! Allie is a killer heroine. The mystery and storyline keeps things moving. And my GOD - the love scenes?!?

And honestly, it's not just about the sex between these two. The romance is so great. Hussandra has such intense chemistry in and out of the bedroom. They take care of each other in so many ways. It's a beautiful relationship and I loved going on their journey.

I cannot wait to see more from these two authors. Again - I hope that we see a little more action where Nick and Harper are concerned.

And just one more for the road!

Hudson Chase and Allie Sinclair's heartrending love story has held my attention from the time I read the first book, Remind Me, in April as the erstwhile lovers crossed paths after a decade apart, and followed along faithfully as they struggled with moments of doubt and suspicion in the second book, Release Me. Now, one of my most anticipated reads of 2015 is finally here and we get the answers that we've been waiting for and join Hudson and Allie as they once again fight for their much deserved happy ending. Authors Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers put our main characters through the wringer, something that I was already expecting, yet they once again surprised me with how they added their own twists and turns to Reclaim Me, the third and final book in the Chasing Fire series, so as to make it an exciting read.

With yet another cliffhanger ending in book two that left me whining at the unfairness of it all, Allie and Hudson find themselves up against the one person that could take away everything from them and in this conclusion to the the trilogy, my suspicions regarding Julian Laurent were confirmed as was my continuing stance on him being an unrepentant master manipulator. In my head, I had an idea what Allie and Hudson were going to go through but the manner in which everything kept me in my toes because I didn't predict how it was all going to play out. I liked the side story involving Nick Chase and Harper Hayes because those two just seemed to work as a couple but no one beats Hudson Chase when it comes to both the sweet and steam that are necessary to keep a relationship like the one he has with Allie constantly hot.

The end of a series is often bittersweet and such is the case for Chasing Fire. For a good long while, nothing seemed to come easy for our Hudson, except when it came to adding on to his business portfolio after her became a billionaire, but then the things worth fighting for are those that come at a higher cost. He may have appeared cold and calculating, but with Allie, the man was fiery and fierce. He was as alpha as ever in the bedroom and the boardroom, but he also had an air of romanticism to him, one that had Hudson Chasers swooning. I'm sad to see the series end but, as a fan, I love the way that everything came together. Hudson and Allie released the past, reclaimed each other, and reminded one another that what they had was worth everything. See what I did there? ^.^ Reclaim Me is a 2015 favorite and gets five stars. ♥

I really really really want to tell you how this series ends. I've been holding it in for so long, I'm about to burst with excitement to dish with someone! But, let me just say, I couldn't be any happier with this ending....

Hudson Chase had always feared that his past would be his downfall. He's spent years working tirelessly to outrun his youth and create a whole new world in which he would be the victor. He would be powerful. Hudson Chase would be in control of his future. And, his idea of the future has always included Allie Sinclair.

Now that Hudson has had a glimpse of what his future with Allie could be; he refuses to settle for anything less. But, protecting those you love can be a difficult task when the skeletons start to spill out of your closet. Hudson is a fixer. He is certainly not accustomed to allowing others to fight his battles. Allie wants nothing more than to save Hudson; even if it's from himself. This book finds Hudson and Allie torn apart, but they're also together. They are united to defeat a common enemy. And, they're both willing to sacrifice their own future and their own happiness for the other.

The Chasing Fire series has it ALL: romance, angst, steam, adventure, more steam, plot twists, a kick-ass hero, an smarmy villain, a deserving heroine and inspiring LOVE!

Hudson and Allie join my short list of perfectly-imperfect romance couples. This list includes: Christian and Ana, Gideon and Eva, Colton and Rylee, Edward and Bella, and you get the idea.....This is a series that I know I will read again. I've highlighted whole pages and I get all butterfly-filled just skimming over my favorite parts. The Chasing Fire series has become one of my go-to recommendations for an steamy romance and a perfect follow-up to Fifty Shades of Grey!

Be sure to check out our interview with Ann Marie Walker and Amy K Rogers in the latest installment of our That's What She Said series. And, please come find me as soon as you've finished the series - I'll be here on the blog, on Facebook or Twitter....we need to talk! Chapters 15-20.....SWOON - they're some of the most beautiful, heartfelt, scenes I've ever read!
Enjoy the Chasing Fire series and all the feels of investing yourself in a wonderful romance and incredible characters. I have no doubt you'll join the long list of readers who proudly proclaim to be a #HudsonChaser!

I was so excited to get the final installment in this series. I have read the previous two books and fell completely in love with Hudson and Allie. This couple has been through so much together and the love they have for each other is overwhelming. So when I received this final installment I couldn't wait to jump in with both feet and these two authors didn't disappoint.

The story picks up where book two left off, Allie being trapped by Julian, her ex-fiance and raging lunatic. Allie is basically being blackmailed to end her relationship with Chase and marry Julian or else he will destroy Hudson and his brother. She also must get Hudson to relinquish his shares of the company back to Allie so Julian can take over once him and Allie marry. Allie will do anything to save Hudson, even if that means giving up the only man she has ever loved.

When Allie disappeared on their vacation, Hudson knew something was wrong. There is no way she would just walk away from him and everything the had fought so hard for. When Allie tells Hudson she wants to end the relationship Hudson immediately goes into fight mode, he will not let Allie just walk away from this relationship. He knows she is hiding something from him and when he finally convinces her to trust him to solve whatever is going on these two find themselves in a deadly game.

This story is just as hot, sexy and electrifying as the two previous installments. This is such a raw and beautiful love story that broke my heart into just to rebuild it back. I absolutely love this series but I am so incredibly sad to see it end. This is not a standalone book, you must read the first two books in the series to understand what is going on. If you have not started this series then please add to your TBR pile, I promise you won't be sorry.

I received an eARC of this book compliments of the publisher for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

I've been eagerly awaiting the last part in Hudson and Allie's saga. Release Me ended on a twist I didn't see coming and I had to know how the duo was going to handle this new challenge. I was literally on edge while reading most of this book. There was no guessing what turns the story would take before it was all said and done.

I must say I really liked Hudson and Allie in this book. Even though the book starts with Allie trying to protect Hudson by herself, I loved seeing her trust him and open up to him. Hudson also changed. As someone who was haunted by things that had happened in the past, I loved seeing him open himself up to Allie and share it with her. Those two really did a great job at communicating in this book.

I also enjoyed how well written the suspense was. Even though Hudson and Allie were working together, they still had hurdles and challenges to face. I was always guessing whether or not they were going to be able to get the information they needed to put the monster stalking them in his place in time. In between these tense moments, I really enjoyed seeing Allie and Hudson be with each other. If anything, their chemistry is hotter now than it was in the first book. I also enjoyed seeing Nick and Harper, Hudson's brother and Allie's best friend. I liked seeing Nick doing better.

The conclusion to this series was very satisfying. I would've loved to wrap up loose ends by having them find out who was responsible for revealing information about Allie, but that's a minor detail. I would love to read more about Hudson and Allie in the future. Perhaps Nick and Harper will get a book or short story of their own. Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers have done a great job with this series. They kept it steamy and exciting. I can't wait to see what they write next.

At the end of the second book we know Allie is going to meet with Julian to give back her engagement ring. This book picks up where the second ended and it didn't miss a beat!

Julian threatens to expose the video that links Hudson and Nick to murder if Allie doesn't make Hudson sign over his shares to her and marry him.

Basically this whole book is about Hudson and Allie trying to finally gain the upper hand on Julian. It's still filled with sweet moments, loving words and hot sex. But finally these two get there happy ending after 10 long years apart.

I thought Walker and Rogers did a amazing job with the story and it kept my total undivided attention. I seriously couldn't put it down. I enjoyed getting to know more about Hudson and his past which explains him in a different light.

At the beginning we see and hear from Julian but during the story he was mentioned and popped in and out. I was totally fine with that but I was getting tired of Allie and Hudson sneaking around at times. I just wanted the whole mess with Julian to finally come to a end and I was pleased when it did.

It was great to see Nick sober and going on a good path. One of my favorite moments is when Nick brought home Harley. I actually giggled the way Hudson reacted but at the end I love how Harley seemed to grow on him.

I am sad this journey has come to the end but I was very pleased with the ending overall. Rogers and Walker didn't leave me asking any unsolved questions. But I do hope we will get a Nick and Harper story down the road with a glimpse into the future of Hudson and Allie.

I highly recommend this book and this series!

Because this is the conclusion of the Chasing Fire Trilogy, I have bittersweet feelings about Reclaim Me. But first and foremost, Reclaim Me was everything that I wanted in the conclusion of a series. I absolutely love these characters! Hudson and Allie perfectly compliment each other. And even though the world sees Hudson as the billionaire mogul that he is, it's Allie who brings out the softer, swoon-worthy romantic side of him that will have you moving Hudson Chase to the top of your book boyfriend list. Their love not only for each other but for their "family" Nick and Harper is one to be rivaled. But it's the unbreakable bond between Hudson and Allie, that even after ten years apart, is stronger than ever before. Which is essential as they battle the evil ogre Julian Laurent.

Ann Marie Walker and Amy K. Rogers have outdone themselves with this series, and have truly made their mark on the book community as authors. As sad as I am to see the Chasing Fire Trilogy end, I can't wait to see what they have planned for the future. Well done ladies!

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

After the dramatic ending to book two I was greatly received to get the last book in the series. You definitely need to read them all in order to understand the plot and the characters. And I can assure you it is well worth the effort.

I have enjoyed the interplay between Hudson and Allie from the beginning, but this raises it to an even better level. What could have been written to cause us more angst, has instead confirmed all our best feelings about Hudson and given Allie just what she needed to come into herself. There is drama, intrigue and plenty of passion. Perfect ending too.

Thank you very much Ms Walker and Ms Rogers.

WOW! This series is one that I will definitely keep on my re-read list. I loved Hudson and Allie and could not wait for this finale of their love story. I was not disappointed!! Their love is so intense you can feel it come off the pages and grab your heart. I thought for sure that Julian would be the one to end them. I tried during the entire book to try and figure out who the mole was in the office, but could never guess. Then there is Harper and Nick! I sure hope there is a series, very soon, with their names on it! These four characters feel like old friends and I could read about them all day. Julian's character is so strong and you learn to hate him on new levels as you read through the story. My only regret is that this trilogy is over, but I do hope that we will be able to have a little view into their lives if and hopefully when we read Nick and Harper's story! Loved the series and the way the series ended.

what a wonderful end to this series. I have been waiting for
this book. And for Julian to get what he deserves. I love the
relationship between Chase and Alie. I was floored when
Julian made his demands, he is on sadistic bastard. But
thank the God Chase was not going to let him come
between them. I am having a hard time as I don't want
to say anything to spoil the book for you. If you have read
the first to books great. you are going to love the way this
book ends. And the secret Alie and Chase share in the
middle of the book. Is something truly amazing. now
I am going to stop this here. And I hope you enjoy this
book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please
consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it
when you do, they value your opinions too.

I am an avid fan of the Chasing Fire Series, but I was most apprehensive about book 3 because in all of the trilogies in the genre book 3 is the trickiest and where so many stories go off the rails. I am so excited to say Reclaim Me did not suffer the same fate. Quite the opposite actually. Reclaim Me brought drama, intensity, romance and so much sex appeal without being cliched. You go through every range of emotions while reading this last installment. My only criticism is that we don't have any more Hudson and Allie to look forward too. AnnMarie Walker and Amy Rogers cleverly wove the story line of Reclaim Me with complex resolutions to the questions we were left with at the end of Release Me. Most importantly you cannot help but feel like you are part of the journey this classic but modern love story takes. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't read this trilogy.

Reclaim Me is the final in the Chasing Fire trilogy. I couldn't wait to read more Allie and Hudson. Walker and Rogers has us picking up their story right where we were left at the end of Release Me.

The heat and attraction are great and with this third book unsurprising. What I loved most was seeing character growth over the trilogy. We get that with Allie's actions. Walker and Rogers provide enough mystery that keep you wondering. We know Allie and Hudson belong together but their journey to get there makes for some unstoppable reading.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Chasing Fire trilogy and am a little sad to see the end. I'll definitely be on the lookout for more to read from Anne Marie Walker and Amy K Rogers.

Wow!!! An amazing conclusion to the fantastic Chasing Fire series. I was hooked on book one and the final book did not disappoint.
Thankyou to the beautiful ladies who brought the handsome knockout Mr Hudson Chase to life and the beautiful Allie Sinclair that keeps our muscled mogul grounded. I am definitely a fan of David Gandy and the Twitter Chasing Fire family.
5 star for an epic conclusion, so well written that I just couldn't stop reading....well my work day may have been the only thing I let interfere with a straight run at completing the book in one day.
I look forward to reading so much more from these lovely ladies!

ERIN'S REVIEW
4 STARS

This was a wonderful ending for Allie and Hudson! The story really holds on to you. I am a big fan of this series and I couldn’t have asked for a better ending. Allie and Hudson have a relationship that has definitely been tried and tested. Their bond is strong. Their chemistry is off the charts! They both have to make sacrifices in the name of love. I love these two characters together. They have gone through the emotional wringer together and have come out on the other side somewhat beaten, but whole. I suggest that every romance reader out there get this series on their TBR list!

Loved it

This was a great series from the first to the last.... Is this the last? There were times when the author could have gone tired and cliché with some of the story lines but I was relieved she didn't. It was a nice change tower them take this on as a couple instead of the main characters keeping secrets to"protect" the other.
