Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.

This is one I read while I was away camping for the weekend! It is book #10 in the Skulls MC series by Sam Crescent. I look at this book as one of those ones that is an in between book that lets us take a peak into how all of the characters are doing. We get a glimpse into the Skulls family lives as they get ready for Christmas. Not only is it time for Christmas; but Whizz is getting married! Out of all of the Skulls, I am very happy that he is getting his HEA..After the torture he endured in the past; he deserves nothing but the best!

The couple that is the main focus of this book though is Blaine and Emily. They have some major hurdles to jump through in order to move on into their relationship. They share a child, and a troubling past; yet they still love each other. Christmas time is known for miracles and good will, and there is no shortage of that in this book. It is short, but it packs in lots of love between friends, lovers, and family. Of course, I must mention that there is a ton of hot sex in this one too! A great addition to the Skulls series, and it was nice to see them get a break from all of the trauma and violence they have been going through in past books.

This is a series that I have enjoyed from the beginning, and I love how the author is adding new characters into the club. I have faith there will be many more books to come in this exciting MC series.

"Blaine: Christmas at The Skulls" is the story of Emily and Blaine.

Second chance romance between MC Skull member Blaine and the mother of his child Emily. Our H is a dbag who cheats on his long time pregnant girlfriend, gets hooked on drugs and abandons her during her pregnancy. When he gets thrown out of his MC club, he begs her take to take him back but she throws him out with a picture of his daughter. This pushes the H to get sober, and become a better man.
Flash forward to present- the H and h have been living together for years, taking care of their child but he cannot penetrate her shell. She keeps pushing him away, until he decides to take reigns and prove to her that he is a changed man.
Interlaced are updates on other MC Skull members- Tiny's retirement, Tabitha and Simon's blooming precocious love much to their fathers' hatred, Whizz's adoption attempts, Hardy and Rose's heartbreak, Angel's kindness- and we also get a glimpse on possible future couples.

Hot sex as usual, but the story was enjoyable in parts.

It sounds weird to say this was a sweet romance given the MC theme, but it really was. I wish we would have more of Blaine's back story in prior books. But other than that, a good and enjoyable read.

FINALLY!!

A book I could enjoy from start to finish. The only thing I didn’t care for was the glossing over of his infidelity when they were younger. You can’t blame drugs for everything.

Otherwise, it was sweet enough.

Blaine: Christmas At The Skulls - The Skulls MC Series - Book 10 - By - Sam Crescent

This is the tenth book in this really great series and I absolutely loved it from beginning to end. This story features around a former club prospect who lost his way and lost everything he held dear at the same time who found hus way back to the club and is a fully patched member now. Blaine who let drink and drugs destroy his life lost the one person he loved the most, Emily. Emily was only a few years younger than Blaine but was heavily pregnant when Blaine's addiction cost them both their happiness. He has made huge strives to get clean, back with the club but Emily just doesn't know if she can lose her heart to him again, she has Darcy to think about now too. These are both really likeable characters and show the fears and concerns of both sides from the fallout of Blaine's actions. I loved how he finally took charge and gave them both the courage and strength to trust again. Emily's parents Shirley and Lenard were great secondary characters and had me howling. I loved sering more of Lash and that he helped Blaine by encouraging rehab. Blaine and Angel have a beautiful friendship. It was nice to see more of the other brothers and their banter along with
Whizz and Lacey getting married. We also catch a glimpse of some new club members, former nomad brothers Happy, Adam and Twisted are all looking to find a place within Fort Wills. It was nice seeing Eva and Lexie I am still not happy about the clubs being divided that us such a shame to me. However Tabitha and Simon will have you grinning from ear to ear with their shenanigans. Stink who has longed for Sandy for so long has finally made his feelings known so that is a huge step as we wait to see Sandys response, my nerves are shot, the wait is killing me lol. Our Baker has suddenly took an interest in the delicious toy shop owner Millie so that is also something to look forward to if the other old ladies will have any say in it. And there was a truly touching moment when the clubs fallen brothers and women were remembered. This story was truly a great read, filled with festive fun and all the magic that only Christmas can deliver. Happy Reading.

Emily’s past with Blaine was rocky. He was a drunk and cheat. There was no way he would be a father to their child. She had to protect her baby girl. Fast forward. Blaine has Emily and his little girl Darcy back but Em isn’t giving an inch. Sure they live together but that is it. He doesn’t know what to do to make it right. Emily is scared of what could happen. She doesn’t know if Blaine can be trusted again. She still loves him but old doubts keep creeping in. I love that her parents have seen the change in Blaine and are pushing Em to give him a chance. Blaine has to man up and fight for her. He can’t just let the feelings from the past destroy the love they have. He has to prove to her that he is not going to make the same mistakes as before. He needs to fight for his family. I love that they do mention Chaos Bleeds also celebrating Christmas. If you read, “Death’s Dirty Demands” you know the celebration that Lexie was putting together. Eva is kicking up with her set up. Adam cracks me up. OMG!

Redemption is sweet ❤️

Christmas is a time for love, forgiveness and redemption and the skulls MC were all for it. Blaine had alot to be thankful for , the club and especially Angel saved him from himself. The choices he made rocked his very foundation losing Emily and their unborn child.

He fought his way back and in turn fought to get Emily and his daughter back . For three years he did everything he could to prove to her that his was Worthy of her love and he was loyal and faithful to her and their daughter Darcy.

But Emily kept him at arms length she was heart broken . She loved Blaine since she was 17 years old but her heart was shattered she didn't know if she could trust him again. But actions speak louder than words and Blain's actions eventually proved to her just how much he loved her and their daughter.

Lash is really angering me the more the series goes on, I’m sick of him threatening everyone for angel. I mean how dare he threaten Emily at the spa saying not to hurt angel when in fact it was angel who went on to upset and hurt Emily. Lash really needs to be put in his place mostly by angel she needs to stand up for herself against his demeaning ways. Emily is such a sweet, kind woman more so than angel as she annoyingly naive like her Emily just has a pure heart I wish Sam would stop with lash, please fix him and angel behaviour!

Blaine screwed up when he thought that by moving on from his girl friend would make him more important as a Skull. He ended up losing what he cherished most. Drugs and other women were the down fall to what they had. It took many years for Emily to ever give him another chance. He is still struggling to prove himself. Emily is afraid to put her trust in him again.
A short story of Blaine doing what he can to convince Emily that they should be a family. Emily finally seeing what Blaine has been doing to win her trust. No drama, a little bit of a hoe trying to cause problems but Emily puts her in her place.
A great easy fast read.

I'm again here, to express my feelings, about another Sam's book. I'm getting predictable. Lol. I cherish ALL Sam's books but most I adore MC books. So I never can say anything bad about them. They all bring joy to me.

This story is in a peace phase. No enemys. Except maybe...Well, here fits that saying "You're worst your own enemy." This saying fits for our H&H here at the beginning and for another couple. Which I will mention later.

So, Blaine our hero. Well, not so much a hero, but a douchebag, at the begining at the story. He had everything and then blow it all. I wanted to deliver a good kick in his balls. Emily did such a good decision at the time.

Some years later and...Blaine is completely a different person. And I loved that person. Emily to loves that person. She just afraid if she give him a chance, let him in, Blaine would shatter her again. She allows him to interact with their daughter, Darcy, but she puts a wall between them.

Good thing, that Blaine don't giving up so easily. He doe's everything, to show that she and Darcy is his whole world and no one matters to him more.

And slowly, Emily let's the walls down. Lets herself to believe in Blaine. Lets herself to live again. Lets herself to be happy with the only man, she ever loved.

Here in the story is some snippets about other members in the club. Like...

Whizz&Lacey. It made my heart warm, to see how they are holding each other. And I'm not only talking about physical holding. Whizz here is just bloody amazing. When you read, you will understand. And will love him, too.

Hardy&Rose. Again that painful couple. So lost in the pain of the past. Rose should have done what Emily did, in similar position. And not to swept everyting under the mat and just ignore. Hardy&Rose didn't deal with anything. And now everything comes out of seams. And Hardy here made me so mad. He was so harsh and unfair. What the f*ck is wrong with him?! Rose is right, he's spoiled and selfish. Hardy needs to do some grow up and change his outlook.

Oh, our sexy biker, Baker. It's seems he meet his second chance. Just the question is, if he will let himself have it?

Stink&Sandy. I just have to say this. Finally, man! Some progress here. I tought, I will be an old cat lady, until he make any move. Lol.

PS Loved when Emily kicked some skanks a*s. Go, girl, protect and fight for your man!
PSS Loved the snowfight. It was amazing to 'watch' how the club is a real family.
PSSS This stories ending is...Well, let just say with one sentence, Sam, lets us know, that there is possibility, that peace in the Skulls life might end soon. What comes towards the club? Sh*t, I'm anxious.

I can't believe I skipped over this one somehow! I have to admit though... I kinda wish I would've remained blissfully ignorant where Blaine's cheating ways were concerned. I knew he & Emily had problems because I've read all of the other books but I never really thought he'd be a frakin' cheat like Hardy. *shakes head*

Blaine, Blaine, Blaine... I am of the camp that believes if you really love someone, you would NEVER cheat on them... drugs or not. I rolled my eyes at him & other members of the Skulls family so many times throughout this book; his "you're the only woman I've ever wanted" claim (find that hard to believe when you screwed skanks left & right, buddy), Tate's "he was high on drugs, and I bet he wouldn't have touched any b*tch if he'd been sober... Blaine's a good boy now" (so, you're saying the drugs grew arms & legs & walked his c*ck on over to p*ssies who didn't belong to Emily? Yeah... no) or when he b*tched about her not giving him a fair chance. Big. Fat. WHAT-THE-F*CK-EVER.

Unfortunately, it's a common theme among the Skulls books. Members are really good about telling the Heroes when they pull d*ck moves (which I LOVE, thank you Lash) but they're even "better" at telling the heroines that they need to quit being stubborn & give their guys another chance or move along. And then, of course, the heroines end up blaming themselves for the majority of the couple's problems. They did it with Tate, with Emily, with Rose.... *sigh*

Luckily, the good times happy always outweigh the annoying ones in this series. (Well, almost every time anyways.) The steamy scenes were totally on point between Blaine & Emily & the way Blaine surprised her at Christmas was super sweet!

But Hardy... Man, you are one supreme d*ckhead. I hope Rose kicks your a** to the curb (permanently) one day. That one line that came out of your mouth... No, just... no.

Looking forward to more Skulls/Chaos Bleeds drama in the next book! These books are very addicting!!

Side Note: I'd LOVE to see a variation on the heroine's appearance. I love having stories about fuller figured heroines but it's also okay to switch it up every now & then too! :)

This book is worth 5 Big fat stars!
What another great story of a skull member, in previous books Blaine was a shadow member and now he's stepped into the light and this book has given him his place with all the rest, he's a layed back guy and now a one woman man and he is not afraid to show his feelings.
Blaine was a member of the skulls but he was kicked out and had to turn his life around to be brought back in and he did, in his past he lost the one woman who loved him and he now has to fight for her.
His and Emily's relationship is a road to forgiveness and we get to meet Them and there daughter darcy and understand the ride to the present day. You do get to meet the other skulls and there family's which is always great, your love this book like the others, it was well written and the whole execution of the story was put together fantastic, Thank you again Sam crescent for an Christmas special. I'm looking forward to meeting the real Alex and hoping baker is after but which ever member there is alway a commotion that has us wanting more.

It is Christmas time with the Skulls and life is peaceful.....for now.

The main characters in this book are Blaine and Emily. We get caught up in their story from past to present. In the past Blaine made such a mess of his life (and totally should have been kicked in his junk) that Emily had no choice but to walk away. You have to admire her for making the choice she made...too bad Rose hadn't taken the same steps. When Blaine is hurt, Angel brings Emily back into his life. Although they live together, they are not truly together. This book focuses on them getting there. There is a great scene where Emily kicks butt and another where Darcy does.

We get to see everyone else too. Tate hasn't had her baby yet and Eva has some news for Tiny. Whizz is looking into ways to bring Lacey' s dream to life (hmmmm Daisy???) Tabitha still wants Simon (future generation books?!?) Baker may have met his future. As you can see there is still lots of material for future books and as long as Sam keeps writing them, I'll keep reading them.

This book just fell in my lap and I have not read the other books in the series...which is a big no no. I was lost on all the characters except the main two. Having back story and understanding everyone's situation would have made this a more entertaining read.

In this story Blaine is trying so hard to make up for what he did to Emily in the past, which was horrible by the way. Emily is trying to overcome the hurt Blaine caused her, I completely understand her distance. I'm all for a sappy love story and this one is definitely a HEA, but the characters came across as just a little too much for me. That snowball fight was a great time, and the sex was very steamy, but there was no climatic situation to get my blood pumping.

Maybe if I had read the others I would feel differently, but with my knowledge I have to go with 3 stars.

This was so sweet it made my teeth ache. I knew this book was the story of Blaine and how he messed up and lost his family so I wasn't expecting anything major to happen, therefore there was no disappointment. Like I said, sweet. Blaine messed up and Emily was smart enough to leave and not put up with his cheating ass. So I respected her a lot for that. Blaine redeems himself but boy does Emily put him through the wringer to prove his loyalty, I don't think she was hard on him at all, like her parents had her thinking, I would want to make sure that he would continue to be loyal, because let's face it, people can change at a drop of a hat. I'm glad he stuck it out and proved himself not only to the club but to Emily and their daughter as well.

Hmm...Matthew is still being called Michael!

I don't think ... He had lost the lifestyle he was loving once the MC crew kicked him out due his excessive drug use, then he decided to come to woman who left him due this lifestyle. ..not before! He even said so (in his mind) after she turned him away at his 1st try.

However, I'm glad she didn't just jump into arms even thou I wished she was someone during their separation too. But, that's not her nature...i guess.

This series is not better than the spinoff MC but I do like some of the characters in this series and the way to read more about them ...oh well :) I still love Devil & Lexie and his MC better!

Can't wait to see how Simon finally get his girl...Tabitha :))

Christmas book in the Skulls series.
This is a great book. We get to catch up with all the club and finally get to find out what happened between Blaine and Emily, and what a great story it is.
Tabitha and Simon are still giving their parents a hard time over the split between the Skulls and Chaos Bleeds, but they are not the only kids that give you the feeling that this series is going to be long and fun. Something to look forward to.

Holy hell! Sam Crescent never fails to amaze me with her books. Loved Blaine and Emily sweet and touching second chance story. They have red hot passion and chemistry while working on building their love, trust and forgiveness. Loved how the rest of the MC were brought into the storyline representing family, hope and being together for Christmas. Would recommend.

To be honest I found this one pretty boring - couldn't connect at all.

I don't have much to say except I get a kick out of Simon and Tabitha's relationship because they are so little and even though Tiny and Devil do not want them together you know that will be a story one day.

Hope I enjoy the next one
