Despite its length, this is never dry and while I am no fan of the former prime minister, there is no disputing how much she accomplished while in office. Additionally, as the first woman to be in that position (not to mention she was the one in office the longest, at least in the 20th century), I have to admire her strength and resilience, if not her policies. Recommend.

An extraordinary insight into the Iron Lady. Deeply researched and an interesting independence of opinion from the woman who changed Britain for ever. Like or loathe her her achievements and mistakes are all a part of a very complicated persona. Well worth the read
