Phantasm #5

Dungeon Prime: An Isekai LitRPG

Rate this book
A twisted artificial intelligence wreaks havoc for a team of adventurers in the fifth installment of this LitRPG adventure series perfect for fans of D&D.

Before they entered the dungeon, there were plenty of warnings to suggest that Kandis Hammond and her Adventurers Guild companions were in for a world of chaos. The elves referred to it as the “Fortress of Unending Nightmare,” and the entrance elevator caught fire just as the group stepped out of it. Now, with the dungeon intelligence, Axel, maniacally declaring they’re going to have “so much fun,” there’s no telling what surprises are in store.

Thrown into a dystopian cityscape overrun with monsters, the team discovers that each floor is a deadly take on a computer game from Kandis’s original life. If they can work together and complete each floor’s challenges, Kandis and Borys just might reach the portal that’ll take them back to Earth . . . if there’s anything left of it.

Meanwhile, Kandis continues having strange visions at inopportune moments. Are they memories of her former career at a tech startup, where someone tore themselves apart and the Goddess of Creation was a financial officer? Or are they a sign that someone’s meddling with her mind? Kandis is desperate for answers, but the Great Game takes priority. She and her friends must win—and survive.

The fifth volume of the hit LitRPG fantasy series—with more than 600,000 views on Royal Road—now available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook!

First 80% of this book was pretty uninteresting, got a bit more info about the world but all in all pretty boring and unengaging. The last Bart was back to more normal level for the series
