This book discussed wedding traditions from the engagement to the honeymoon, from the bridal gown to the seating arrangement at the wedding reception. Full of interesting and curious tidbits and information on the histories of many well- and lesser-known wedding traditions, I found this to be a light and pleasant read (though I am not going to be a bride for a while yet!). I love weddings - they wrap up all of my favorite things (dancing, beautiful gowns, perfect makeup, elegant hairstyles, romance, event planning, flowers, beautiful cakes, etc.) up in one big beautiful day. :)
A fluffy piece on (mostly Western) wedding traditions and ideas for fitting them into a modern wedding. Was probably very helpful before the widespread use of the internet, but mostly just a nice bedtime story of sorts now.
