TBH, this book surprised the hell out of me. In a good way. I was expecting a run of the mill, formulaic/cliche smut read, and to some extent it was just that - but with a little extra, dark twist. Score! But wait. Though formulaic, predictable, and cliche - the build up was spot on, and the suspense was good until it wasn't. The ending was wrapped up too quickly and neatly, and the emotional impact SHOULD have been greater (with everything that went down). It felt rushed.

Also, it was very clear from the beginning that Declan found Evie attractive, but beyond that -- it's hard to pinpoint exactly when, why, and how they fell madly in love. I was glad that the author stayed away from the whole "instalove" situation, but their forced and awkward interactions in the beginning weren't THAT meaningful for their relationship to progress as quickly as it did. Also, their back stories were VERY interesting, though quite dark. Still, I wish it was explored in greater depth. Somehow, them finding each other after all the crap they'd been through in the past, would've given their relationship so much more meaning, IMO.

Overall, it's an entertaining read; there were some steamy scenes that I think MOST - if not ALL readers would enjoy. Beyond that, it was pretty suspenseful in some parts, with a dash of violence, and some very uncomfortable backstory that some readers may not appreciate, due to disturbing content. In short, the overall story was predictable, yet I couldn't stop reading! I think a lot of readers would enjoy this (if not taken so seriously, and with no nitpicking). I'm actually surprised there aren't more reviews on this one.

LOVED Declan and Evie! Such great characters whose sexual tension was TOTALLY off the charts!

So why not 5 stars? The ending felt a bit rushed to me...the whole book is leading up to this epic revenge scene and yet, that's not what the reader gets.

If the ending wasn't what it was, this easily would have been a five star book for me!

WOW!!!! This book was great!!! Pure Gold, in my opinion.

This was the first book by Sara Hubbard that I have read and I have to say I look forward to reading more books by this author. I was drawn to this book by the blurb (and the cover if I'm completely honest…LOL) and I am so glad that I took a chance on this book and author because I was not disappointed. This book kept my attention from the very first page all the way to the very last page. I didn't want to see this story end.

I don't think there was just one thing about this book that spoke to me, it was everything about this book. The writing was fantastic. The characters were engaging and believable. The storyline was great and I just loved how the author told this story. One of the best things about this story to me was that she didn't give us the same old characters and story we see these days. I loved that while Declan was attracted to Evie and continued to push her out of his mind, that the author doesn't turn him into a playboy who sleeps with every girl he sees. It was refreshing that both Evie and Declan are only with each other during this story.

Evie and Declan were interesting characters. They are both very broken souls, both having come from poor upbringings, but the way they have chosen to live their lives is complete opposite of each other. Evie learned a secret when she was young that totally changed her life and who she believed she was. This destroyed her and she wanted to give up on her life, but then her mom got sick and she spends four years taking care of her. Once her mom passes, she decided to move to the city and start all over. Down on her luck she stumbles into a pub and that changes everything for her. This is where she meets Declan and to say they don't hit it off right away is an understatement. The owner of the pub (Mona) gives her a job and things start working out for her. That is until one fateful night that changes everything on her way home from a club. Declan finds her and saves her life. From then on things change for both Declan and Evie. I loved how these two characters interacted with each other. Declan is used to getting what he wants without question…but Evie questions everything and she has NO problem standing up to Declan when need be. The chemistry these two had was off the charts. It takes a little while for things to heat up but once they do, watch out ;)

inCAPABLE is a stand-alone mafia based novel, with action, humor and romance. This is a book that once you pick it up, you'll have a hard time putting it down. You'll fall in love with Evie and Declan and root through the whole book for them to get their HEA.

I would recommend this book to everyone!!!

5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I need to start by saying that I feel so privileged and honored to have read yet another amazing book by this talented author. Her stories are so well written, so fluid, so emotional. I could feel the pain, the anguish, the longing, the love, the intensity, the inner turmoil… with each page.

This book was just plain AWEsome. It was an incredibly heartfelt story of love and acceptance. It was dark and painful at times, but also complex, sexy and very touching.

Words cannot begin to describe the overwhelming sense of loyalty I had towards Evie. She was this amazing and strong character - she was everything good in the world - but was still so vulnerable and fragile. She was the light in the dark.
She blew me away.

“We can’t become what we’re fighting against, because then what’s the point?”

Declan certainly was the epitome of a good guy gone wrong, or left with few options. He became what he had to to survive, but it wasn't him. And Evie was the one to come along and give him hope. Seeing him through her eyes, watching him change and want to be better for her was inspiring.

"I’ll show her I care in other ways, ways she might never understand—or even know about."

This was a very thought-provoking and potent book for me. The way Sara Hubbard presents it is just so powerful and enjoyable. I frantically wanted to read every second I had free. I was taken on a powerful journey I will soon not forget.
I can't wait for her future books.

Check out Beautiful and Broken, I absolutely loved that book!

I really loved this book... such an amazing read. If you like mob stories you will love this one. Declan is a cold hearted killer, but I fell for his character anyway. He could be so sweet and caring. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read more from this author.

I was provided a copy o the book by the Author for an honest review.

WOW I felt in love with this book from the first page, I love the characters and love how the book turned out to be. I have to say that this is the right title for the book, cause once you start reading it you get to see how hard the male character is fighting to keep his new feelings under control. I am gone keep this short since I don't want to give anything away.

The story begging with Declan, all he real good at is fighting that's how he end up where he is now, working for one of the leader of the mafia, Declan don't have a problem with killing or fighting, he don't show emotion at all, everyone know not to mess with him, but all of this changes the night that Evie show up at Monas pub, when the waitress ask what she wanted she say she was looking for a job. That's when she end up meeting Mona and that's when Declan knew that he need to have her, after that night Declan couldn't get to seem to stay away from her, and he could't understand why he was feeling the way he was, but those feeling became clear the night that she got attack, that's when he knew that he was going to protect her no meter what.

I love the way how how Declan and Evie are with each other, love how she talks back to him and show him that she not afraid of him, live it how Declan tell her to do something just cause he know she don't like to be told what to do, and that a big turn on for him, I love it how they both know that they broken in their own way, but they give their feeling a chance specially Declan when he did not think it was possible for him to love some one.

I really love and enjoy reading this book, Author Sara Hubbard THANK YOU for introducing me to this awesome characters and this amazing book love it cant wait to read more of your books.

I liked this story a lot. A young street thug turned Mafioso hitman meets a girl with a horrible secret trying to find her way after the death of her mother who she took care of for two years. Two strong but very scarred people finding each other. A little OTT a few times but a really nice read.

Y me encantó!!!!

4 Stars!

I enjoyed this book. This is the first book I have read by author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Full of mystery, suspense, steam, and angst, this book takes you on a ride that will have you hanging on until the very end. Once I started this book, I did not put it down until the very end which still left me wanting more. If you are a fan of romantic suspense, this book is for you.

This is Declan and Evie's story. Declan is a thug. He is an enforcer and can kill with the blink of an eye. He isn't a playboy and only satisfies his need when he needs too. He has been scarred from his past and has no plans or room for anyone. That is until Evie walks into his life. Evie is a broken girl who just lost her mom. She never has really been shown love and just wants to find her place in this world. Broken from her past, she doesn't have anyone or let anyone in. When she gets a job at a pub and meets the mysterious Declan, she wants to know more. But when tragedy strikes, Declan and Evie will be thrown together. Declan has to make a choice ... Evie or his life.

I loved Declan from the beginning. He was very closed off from the world. From the beginning, we could understand why he was so guarded with no relationships. But even the big, bad, and strong Declan couldn't deny the connection to Evie from the beginning. His need to protect and shelter her was swoonworthy. I liked how he started to soften to Evie until the end. It was also nice for him to not be a manwhore like so many of our book boyfriends.

I admired Evie throughout this book. Sure she has a lot of bad stuff happen to her and she was in a tight spot but she made it work. She was strong, resilient, and really just needed someone to lean on ... that man was Declan. From the beginning, she had a connection to him that she could not explain. I liked how she pushed his boundaries and made him feel more for her. For the weak spots, she had just as many strong spots.

I really had only one complaint and that was I wanted more at the end. We built up the suspense and the end just kind of felt too nicely wrapped up way to quick. I would love more of them in the future as maybe a follow-up. I look forward to future books from this author.

I recommend this book!

WOW.. This book was SO AMAZING. I loved that this book was part suspense, totally trilling, lots of dark drama, and a really great romance. This book kept me on the edge of my toes. I could not put it down.

I think Evie has to be one of my FAVORITE female characters. She is so strong, so heartwarming. From what she has been through and the life she has lead, I am amazed by her. I want to be her.

Declan, Declan, Declan...This hard, dark, mysterious, I can kill anyone guy is my new Book Boyfriend.. I am in love with him. He is fierce and loyal. I love the way he wants to protect Evie.. I love their story.

I love this book so much.. Y'all need to read it..NOW!

This was a did not finish book for me. I felt like the heroine made dumb decisions. "Of course I should leave a club alone, in a bad neighborhood, and when I can't find a cab, I should definitely walk, alone, in the bad neighborhood."

I put the book down at that point.

After reading the blurb, I wasn't too sure what to expect from inCapable and I ended up really liking it. Sara Hubbard gives her readers two broken souls that end up finding each other under the worst of conditions.

Evie is a girl on her own. She's been caring for her sick mother and now that she's passed on, Evie has nobody. Starting over in a new town, Evie ends up in the local pub and scoring herself a job. Mona, the bar owner, has a motherly feel to her and a little something else Evie can't put her finger on just yet.

The bar is full of construction workers in nice suits that leave huge tips. Evie instantly notices things don't add up, but isn't at a point in her life to question the money. Told not to sleep with any customers from the bar by Mona as that only causes conflict, Evie has no problem complying until she realizes Declan is a regular customer.

Declan isn't a guy to mess with. He started on the streets at the age of sixteen and has only gotten better at his job as the years went on. Mona and her brother Mickey took Declan in when he was just a kid, knowing their family was better than nothing for him. While it wasn't what Mona would want for her own kid, it gave Declan a purpose.

"Control."
"I need it."
"I have to have it." ~ Declan

For what he does, Declan has to have total control. If he is out of control, mistakes will be made and the boss will not be happy. Declan works for Jimmy, has for years and hasn't slipped up yet. With Evie around, he feels his control slowly slipping away and he doesn't like it one bit. There's something about this girl that is as broken as he is inside.

"It's an odd feeling to have someone look at me like this. No one has before and though it embarrasses me-another foreign emotion-it also frees me, for lack of a better word. Like for a brief moment, I'm not a person who ruins everything I touch. She's so thin and delicate that I could break her. I will break her if I continue down this road." ~ Declan

"He's hurting, even if he doesn't want to admit it, and he's crafted sky-high concrete walls around his heart to protect himself from whatever it is he's suffered through. I intend on being the person to break through those walls and bring them crumbling down." ~ Evie

She has her work cut out for her. Declan himself doesn't know what he wants, so he doesn't know how to let Evie in. There are so many new emotions he is trying to deal with while also keeping his head on straight to do his job. Once the job and Evie collide, Declan is put in the toughest spot of his young life.

The book is fantastic, suspenseful as well as sexy. The story is told from both Evie and Declan's points of view and at about the 90% mark I was hoping there wasn't a cliffhanger ending. I couldn't have handled that. At. All. However, Sara Hubbard did a great job wrapping their story up and giving us a nice epilogue as well.

** ARC provided in exchange for an honest review **

I am finding it incredibly hard to write reviews at the moment without giving too much away, and ‘InCAPABLE’ by Sara Hubbard is no different. Sara takes us on a journey of two broken people coming together in the most unlikely of situations and end up fighting for more than either of them bargained for.

This story grasped my attention the moment I read the blurb and kept me within its grasp throughout the books entirety. You feel every bit of emotions that pours out from the pages; the anguish, the pain, the love, the inner turmoil that both characters constant battle with themselves. Everything is felt and that is what makes this story such a great book.

I fell in love with Evie from the moment she made her entrance. She had a such a naivety presence about her, and although she was quite vulnerable and fragile at times she was one of the strongest characters in the whole book.
She was the light shining in the dark.

“If my heart was cold and black, she’s somehow managed to make it thaw.”

Declan was left growing up with very few options, until someone comes along and takes him under his wing which resulted in him with even fewer options. He did what he did to survive, became what he needed to become. Until Evie walked into his life and gave him hope for something better.

“She makes me question every decision I make, makes me want to be worthy of her. And I barely fucking know her.”

She reached into Declan’s soul and seen the good person he was behind all the shit he had done, and she refused to give up the chance that they could have together.

But with the odds stacked against them can they win the ultimate fight or will their light go out in the dark?

Sara has delivered a very powerful and well written story that will not be forgotten any time soon. I loved every aspect of it and will be one I could re-read over and over again.

I loved watching him change through the book. The way he wanted to be better. He was still fierce and cold when he needed to be, but his loyalty and his utter determination to protect Evie at whatever cost made me fall in love with him even more.
He was the epitome of good guy gone wrong, and I absolutely love him!!

Thank you Sara for this remarkable story. I cannot wait to be taken on more journeys through your words and very much look forward to falling in love with future characters your mind conjures up.

“You think you see good in me.”
“I know I do.”
“You’re wrong.”

If you’re expecting to root for the good guy, hearts and rainbows, happily ever after, this is so not that story. If you’re here to root for the bad guy, you’ve come to the right place. Declan has been heavily scarred by his past and works as an enforcer for a very bad man, willing to do whatever needed. That is, until he meets a pair of dual colored eyes just as lost as his own.

Evie and Declan are a pair. Both have had less than stellar childhoods. They are both holding secrets that shaped them to who they are. These are two seriously broken characters but the difference between them is huge. While Evie tries to see the good in everyone and every situation, Declan is the definition of a pessimist. He knows life has dealt him with a shitty hand and he’s unwilling to let anyone close. He knows he’s not a good guy. He doesn’t need anyone to get close to him or try to change who he is now. He’s completely torn when it comes to his feelings for Evie. It’s a constant tug of war with doing what’s right and pushing her away or allowing himself a chance to be with her and change who he is. But it’s not so easy to be a good guy when you’re life is not really your own.

“…this girl, I want to possess her. I want her to scream out my name, and my name only, and have her tell me she’s mine.”

This is the first book I’ve read by author Sara Hubbard and I can honestly say, it won’t be the last. I seriously couldn’t put it down once I started. I loved both of these damaged characters, and the unexpected twists that the story took. Evie’s secret seriously took me by surprise and the depth of my sympathy for her and how she handles life make her a stronger character than I initially thought she would be. Declan is the bad guy with the chance to redeem himself and tries to take it. I love that each of the chapters and scenes are told in the POV of the characters and you get to see the mindset behind their actions. The sexy is steamy, the love that they have for one another is sweet and real, their past haunting, and the ending HEA. Well done Sara. I look forward to reading more.

LEEANN'S REVIEW
4 STARS

This is the story of Declan who is a hitman and Evie who on the surface is innocent but underneath has secrets of her own.

Declan has never been in a relationship & doesn’t want to be. It does not fit in with his lifestyle and he just simply does not
want to go there at all.
Evie has just lost her mother & ventured out into the world on her own for the first time. She had dreams & goals but they
were all put on hold when her mother got sick & she had to look after her.
Mona took Declan in when he was younger and has been a bit of a mother figure to him & in a way, his best friend. Now she
can see Evie needs a job & some help & steps in to provide both. She also thinks Evie would be a perfect fit for Declan & might
just be the one to pull him out of his line of work.

Things go south quick & both Evie & Declan find their lives in danger. The only one that may be able to save them is Mona.

This is an interesting story. It started off a bit slow & took a while to get hooked, but once it picked up about a quarter of the way through
It got really interesting & I found myself wanting to keep turning the pages to see what was going to happen to them.
These characters are quite complex. Declan is intense, tough & sexy. Evie is sweet, comes across as a bit innocent but deep down she
is tough as nails when she needs to be. They complement each other perfectly & the both freely admit it. It is always nice to see the
girl get the man & the tough untouchable man brought to his knees!! I never get tired of reading these types of stories!!

The ending was bittersweet & not at all what I was expecting. I did enjoy this book & give it 4 sparkly stars!!

I received this for an honest review.. I have to say I was really surprised by this book. When I singed up for this review I wasn't sure what I would be reading (Sara is a new author to me). I have to say I was pulled right into Declan and Evie's story. This book had a great storyline, easy flow with the writing and the mains fell in love in a nice steady beat..

Declan is a street thug and Evie is a girl looking for a new life (job). Evie has nobody since her mother died and she just happens to walk into Monas pub and right into Declan who is like a son to the owner. Such a good story one you don't want to miss!!!

I have to say this will not be my last book by this author..

Sara Hubbard's "inCAPABLE" is an amazing standalone read. Declan, the leading man, is a better version of Ray Liotta's character in Goodfellas. In fact, I heard Declan's voice in my head as Ray Liotta! But, as I said, he's actually a much better man than that character, morals-wise. Declan isn't as unimaginably horrible as the guy in "RAW" by Belle Aurora. He's just the right mix of badass and broken. I loved the story - couldn't put it down. It was a sexy read, to be sure.

I loved this book, came across it by accident while browsing FB and was a little hesitant to one-click it since I'm trying to cut back on purchasing new books and reading the ones I already have.

So glad I made an exception here, loved the storyline, loved Declan and Evie!!

★✩★✩★ 5 – Dark, Deadly, Dangerous, and yet.... – Stars
~this review may contain minor spoilers~

Her eyes redden and she blinks furiously. She's fighting tears and I feel something inside of me shred, but I don't know how to respond to it, how to feel about it. So I so what I do best, I put my guard up. Control. Always control. It always gets me through every situation.

Evie Crane has spent the last four year taking care of her dying mother and is ready for a new start in a new city. With no friends or family in her life, dwindling funds and limited job prospects, she finally catches a break when she lands a waitressing job at a pub in a seedy part of town. What she doesn't realize is that her new boss has some close ties to the mob or how drastically her life is about to change when waiting for a cab one night. A vicious attack that would have ended her life if not for the mob hitman who saves her changes everything. Now she is entangled in a world she doesn't understand, wrapped up in a man who is a danger to everyone around him, and yet – she can't stay away from him, and strangely enough, he actually makes her feel safe... ish. But how well does she really know him?

Declan Lewis has only ever know how to survive at all costs, life on the streets will teach you that. But when a man finally gives him a chance at being something, takes him under his wing and teaches him everything he knows, he has no idea that he was being groomed to be a hitman for the mob. He is good at what he does but there is no walking away from this life, even if he wanted to. That has never really been a problem for him, til he meets a blonde with mismatched eyes that seems to be the polar opposite of everything he is. He can't help but be drawn to her, even if he realizes how dangerous he is to her. Bringing her into his world puts her life at risk in more ways than either could have expected, and even though he wants to be a man she would deserve, he doesn't think he is even capable of that kind of change, not to mention no one walks away from the mob unscathed.

Forgive myself. The problem is I don't feel bad about a lot of the people I killed. I don't need forgiveness to move on. I've already done that. What I need is fr her to forgive what I've done. For her to accept me, warts and all. But deep down I know... if she knew the truth, the whole truth... she couldn't possibly.
She'd leave. And she'd take my fucking heart with her.

Words can hardly describe how much I loved this book. There was so much to it, so many layers, so much going on and with the added bonus of some pretty amazingly flawed characters. The connection between Declan and Evie was raw and sometimes painful, but a thing of beauty in a world full of ugly. With so much blood and danger surrounding them, and such dreadful demons in their pasts and present, it was hard to see a way out for them. That didn't change the fact that they found kindred spirits in each other, the only other person in the world to make either of them actually feel, and though it scared the hell out of them they didn't run away from it, even when it would have been the safest thing for them. I think one of my favorite things about them was they didn't let stupid misunderstandings come between them – they had enough problems without adding easily avoidable issues to the mix. This was a duel POV book which really helped to form a connection with BOTH sides of the relationship, I don't know how I would have felt about Declan otherwise, all things considered. As it is, I fell hard for both of them, it was hard not to. They have both been through so much in their young lives but they refused to let it beat them down. I even formed a soft spot for Mona with her 'Hell on Wheels' personality, and Beth with her slightly naive, yet bubbly self. This story had my attention right from the beginning and refused to let go, it just did not slow down. The danger hiding around every corner was easily felt and constantly had me on the edge of my seat. The build up of the relationship between Declan and Evie was definitely of the slow burn variety, but considering the world they were living in, and who Declan was, insta-love just wouldn't have made sense and it played out pretty perfectly, if not painfully. This is not a sparkles and rainbows romance so if that is what you are looking for, look the other way, but it was an amazing journey none the less and one I would recommend to any and all romances lovers who like their couple to have to work for it, earn it, and not have it just handed to them. I don't know how Sara Hubbard has managed to fly beneath my radar before now, but she has definitely earned herself a spot on my One-Click-Addiction List with this book one scream, tear and blush at a time and I cannot wait to see what she brings us next.

“You can't save him from himself, Evie. If you love him, you need to accept that. Love him for who he is or not at all. My advice to you is to take off and leave this city if you can't accept that.”
“And what if I can? What if I take the bad with the good?”

QUE. HORROR.

Everything about this book just felt stereotypical. It was a good enough story, wasn’t overly happy with the ending, but our couple did end up together.

I am so grateful to say I was wrong to assume that this book was going to be ordinary. She took a plot that carried interest and intrigue on its own and utilized every aspect creating a spectacular story that will remain with me for a long time.
Sara Hubbard is by far the best author I have found at switching POV’s. They transitioned so smoothly that I was able to just continue reading without having to shift mind sets to grasp each character. Evie and Declan each had their own take on an event and different outlooks on life so to make this a smooth read using dual POV, is impressive. She took black and white and made the perfect shade of gray with these two people.
There is something about this book and her style that I can’t put my finger on, but I loved it. It captured my attention right away, drew me into the story and allowed me to feel every scene as if I were there. The facts became very clear as to why Evie and Declan would never make it as a couple, yet while the line was drawn, it was also blurred just enough that I never entertained a thought that they shouldn’t be together. I guess I was Mona in real life because the Mona in the book saw what I did; they needed to make this work.
Evie was the type of woman who believed you could react to others in kindness, no matter how damaged you are in real life. Why feed the dragon you are trying to eliminate in the world. I can’t say she really forgave and forgot, but she certainly didn’t let her past keep her down. She grew each day and asked questions and always found the positive in people and situations. She was naïve, but not because she wasn’t street smart, it was because she refused to let the world taint her view of life. Evie is holding a secret, like no other secret that I have seen written into a plot and that single event framed who she is today.
Declan, who suffered as greatly as Evie did growing up, adopted the killed or be killed mentality. He has sold his soul to Jimmy and will do his underground fighting and become his hitman. He had nothing to lose and everything to gain by working for Jimmy, he also gained Mona as a mother figure and because of the pub, and he will soon have Evie. Declan is a monster, he is an evil killer who shows no emotions, but Evie can see through that and into his heart. She doesn’t want him to change his past; she wants him to be the man he was supposed to be and love her while allowing her to love him.
I absolutely love this story and the way the author created magic while finding a common ground for the angel and the killer is brilliant. It is a raw, intense and drama packed book that brings the read front and center into the story. Absolutely one of my favorite books so far in 2015

Declan's childhood didn't leave him with a wide range of options for his future, so when Mickey approached him at the age of 16 with an offer that seemed to be the best option available to him, he agreed to work for Jimmy Dante. But once you are in his organization, you are in for life; the only way out is at the business end of a bullet. Since Declan has no family to speak of, he is not concerned by that fact and falls into a life of routine, going about business as he is instructed as a good soldier. Mickey and his sister Mona become his surrogate family of sorts, and women are a matter of convenience only since personal attachments will get you killed, be used as leverage against you, or a combination of both.

Evie shows up in Mona's pub a bedraggled rain - soaked mess one day with no job and limited funds after moving to the city a few weeks before. She appears sweet and innocent, but she has demons of her own in the form of a secret from her past that she will do anything to keep hidden to avoid being judged. Mona recognizes a perfect mate for Declan and decides to play matchmaker; even though Declan appears to be completely against the idea, she sees the slight glimmer of interest in his eyes and has hope the man she thinks of as a son may finally find something to live for other than a life as an assassin.

Evie has no clue who Declan or the Dantes are since she is not from the area, but she isn't easily intimidated by Declan and refuses to let him walk all over. She demands both his attention and his respect and he grudgingly gives her both. When she is unexpectedly sucked into his world, his protective instincts start to fire, but can a man who leads the type of life he cannot escape really have something as beautiful as Evie and expect to keep her?

The story has a bit of a bleak feel at times especially with Declan's confusion and pessimistic (albeit realistic) view of his future. Danger and death surround them; the cops are looking for any excuse to take down Declan and the Dante family overall, and they are not averse to using Evie to do it. Oh and Jimmy is a wildcard; nothing gets in the way of what he wants, no matter who you are. Since Evie is currently in his way on a few different levels, Declan is faced with an impossible choice.

Although it took me a couple of chapters to really start getting into the story, once I did it kept my attention straight through to the end. When Evie's secret was revealed, I suspected a part of the information but not the whole set of circumstances so that was a nice surprise as well. Incapable was an interesting read I am glad I took a chance on.
