* Not much going on with Mary Ellen in this one, she's still refusing to date Patrick, but seems a bit jealous when he dates a girl called Mindy.
* Olivia is feel sick and rumours circulate that she's pregnant. She worries the same thing and goes to see Boomer who she kissed in a previous book but she faints and he forgets her 🙄 Walt then assures her that nothing happened because he saw it, and the doctor tells her that her symptoms are down to a new medication.
* Nancy helps Josh with a paper round, but misses her sleep.
* Angie considers dating Arne, the boy who's tutoring her in maths, and eventually they go to a party.
* Pres is still with Kerry.
* Vanessa is a bitch as usual, and gets found out as the person who painted the school statue. This is pretty embarrassing for her father who had vowed to make the parents of the student responsible pay for the damages. I guess he'll have to pay them himself now 😂

Average. Not exceptional but not bad. Good read for a fan of this series. It’s kind of outdated compared to todays high school life but cheerleading is still a lot of the same type of moves and coordinating.
