This has to be the most difficult review I have ever written. It’s taken me two days to just get my head around the book. It is intense, shocking, heartbreaking and the best book Ms. Masters has written to date. It is next level from books she has written in the Guardian Hostage Rescue Specialists series. I highly recommend the book, but make sure to have kleenex close by.

Ally Hank and Gabe
Rescuing Ally Part 2 has left me emotionally spent. It has taken me 24 hours to try and find the words to do this book justice. Part 2 begins where Part 1 ended. To say Malfor has gone too far this time is an understatement. Charlie's Angel's has more grit, determination, and heart than I have ever seen on the written page. Charlie Team has the fight of their lives ahead of them. This mission can not fail. The team is loaded for bear and are determined to win this battle no matter what. There are plot twists I did not see coming. Heartbreaking events that make you how the men of Charlie team are going to get through it, not to mention their women. Have tissues ready because this book will have you crying, laughing, and every emotion in between. Ellie Masters has truly done an outstanding job weaving this story together. Unfortunately, I can only give it 5 stars. A hundred stars would not be enough. Sorry, no spoilers.

I am struggling to find the words to review this book. I knew it had the potential to be a difficult read and that turned out to be a massive understatement. It is the first time that I have read a book that has had me literally sobbing. The emotions throughout this book run deep. The friendship and strength of the women is undeniable and you know will last a lifetime. The trauma they suffered at the hands of Malfor has created an unbreakable bond. The twists and turns have left me speechless and I couldn't put it down. The bond that the men of Charlie Team have is stretched to breaking point but is unwavering as they come together to fight evil. I don't know how Ellie Masters got through writing this book, it is raw, unforgiving, gritty and so full of emotions.

I just don’t know where to begin, I did however want you to know how I feel right now having finished this book not 20 mins ago - How Ellie Masters wrote this is completely beyond me, she has written something which in my mind is her best yet. Whatever you think your going get, your wrong - this was much much much more and has left me speechless. Did it break me - absolutely, it tore me apart. Did it fix me - I’m still processing that.
I will come back here tomorrow and try to put some words together in a better review once I’ve slept on it.

Rescuing Ally (part 2) is raw, its gritty, it's brutal, its emotional, it's heartbreaking and is far from being easy read. But once you start reading there's zero chance of putting it down. The feelings whilst reading it go really deep. Hope and dispair go hand in hand. Love and friendships which are so entrenched are tested to their limits and beyond.
Power and greed drives the evil torture of the Charlie Team's women, along with the quest to destroy not just Charlie Team but Guardian HRS. Disbelief, anger, ugly tears all come in huge waves one after the other and keep on coming then you turn a corner thinking the home run is on its way only to have it ripped away again.
Rescuing Ally (part 2) will shock you in ways you won't expect or see coming. It will break you, you will cry ugly tears, you may feel that justice can't ever be served - but Ellie Masters has written a masterpiece, which you don't know you need, can't put down and honestly feels like it can't ever be beaten, then Ellie leaves you at the end with a poignant personal note she has written which made me cry buckets.
I will come back here tomorrow and try to put some words together in a better review once I’ve slept on it.

Rescuing Ally Part 2 is a continuation. There is no recap. This is where the rubber meets the road, where the soldiers hit the trenches, where the cliffhanger is reveled. Where the story lives up to its title. This story will slice you open, rip out your heart, and many, many chapters later, will put your heart back in place and sew you up with meticulous little stitches. From the way Ally is taken hostage (This is not a spoiler. Look at the book title.), to the unbelievable rescue (again, read the title), you will be holding your breath and trying to rush the pages to get answers that are screaming in your head. But there is no rushing this story. From the hostage take over, to the entrapment, to the physical, mental, emotional, and psychological pain, to the constant watch of every move made, you will feel the agony, hope, despair, the anguish felt. Book 8 should possibly come with trigger warnings for the brutality against the human mind, body, and soul. Part 1 to this story was so good, only to end with a kidnapping. Part 2 starts off right where the other story ended, with the guardians trying to figure out what happened while the girls try to protect each other from the evil that has them. Ultimately this is a story about friends who become your family. But of course families fight, and disagree and this family is no different. This book tore me in so many different directions I had to wait a few days before I could even attempt to write this review. It is deliberately vague as I'm not going to give away any spoilers. Just know, be prepared for some shocks and heartbreak. But also know this author doesn't leaving you hanging and offers up redemption, reconciliation and most importantly love. A good book make you feel something. A great book make you feel everything and this is a great book.

Well, Ellie.... to say I'm blown away would be an understatement!!
I'm absolutely lost for words...
I can't even imagine how difficult it must have been to write this story.
This has to be one of the most heartbreaking books I have read in a very long time.
Plenty of tissues were used, mopping up the sobs.
If I could give it more than 5 stars, you'd have a 100!!
I can't recommend this book enough. It's not for the fainthearted!

Oh wow! This book had me stunned, excited, heartbroken. This just had me!
A brilliant conclusion to Charlie team, this book had to be read in one read as I couldn’t put it down. One of my favourite reads this year, even if it broke me! Charlie’s angels rock, the women were incredible, their men weren’t too bad either! Loving the cameos from future leads too.
No spoilers from me so a quick review- just read and immerse yourself in writing that will have you gasping, loving and crying! 5 stars.

Five stars is not enough to rate these two books. What an amazing roller coaster of emotion this book takes you on. Ally, Gabe and Hank make a perfect threesome. Each of them balance the other. When Ally is kidnapped again, Gabe, Hank and the rest of their Guardian team step up to save them. Hold on to your hats and have a boat load of Kleenex near as you read their story and how it all turns out. Thank you Ellie for a wonderful truly heartfelt read!

what an ending to an amazing series
I waited till Rescuing Ally part 2 came out to read part one and I am so glad I did. What a way to end this series. I love Hank Ally and Gabe so much. They may be my new favorite characters. I have enjoyed all Ellie Masters books I have read, the storylines and details are so unique and interesting I can never stop reading. Thank you so much for sharing your storytelling

I am so sad this is the last of this series and this is the best book Ellie has written so far. Rescuing Ally part 2 had twists and turns that I wasn’t able to see coming. Charlie’s angels are such a strong tribe of women and Charlie team is so complex with the bonds of professional and personal bleeding into it all. This book depicts the evil that lives in their world and the lengths they will go to for each other and the ones they love. The technical aspects are outstanding and way beyond my mind to understand but make sense in the book. If I could give a 100 star rating it might be enough. I think this series is the best series I’ve ever read .

I have never been destroyed first by heartache then came anger next up was anxiety and then hope. I had to walk away from this book several times I was just raw. The love , respect and strength of these people (characters) just pour from this story. I would recommend you read the Guardian Hostage Rescue series from start to finish . Kleenex are a must and wine is usually my go to but with this book it was rum and coke from chapter 5 on. Ellie puts you back together so you can feel joy and happiness again. 5 🌟Review with a 5 😭emphasis for Rescuing Ally Part 2. After I read Rescuing Ally Part 1 I immediately wanted part 2. But if I had jumped straight into the conclusion of the story I might’ve been wrecked for life. This book was such an emotional earthquake from start to finish that I may have to come back later to edit my review but for now, just know this book shows the unmatched devotion that Ellie Masters has woven through all of the Guardian HRS books to date. I am in awe of the brain power it must require to craft these stories, not to mention the scientific and tech details with just enough explanation to perfect the overall impact. The men and women of Charlie Team and their Angels will stay with me for a really long time.

I thought Rescuing Ally(Part 1) was a heart stopping page turner. It was, but Part 2 brought the final journey of Charlie Team to a mind blowing, breath holding, angst filled , satisfying conclusion. This book has ALL the " feels." Parts will make your heart sing. Other parts will rip it to shreds. I was holding my breath throughout. I was cheering one minute and sobbing the next. Well that was definitely not what I was expecting!! It has taken me all day to let this book settle in my brain and I am still not right!
The emotions in this book are extreme. The strength of these women, their sisterhood, their absolute determination to survive is amazing. They are an inspiration for all women to push past the pain, to embrace life and to allow themselves to love and be loved. Thoroughly and completely.
No spoilers here, but I cannot imagine how Ellie was able to write Hank’s story. I am not ok. But I will be. I will channel Ally’s love and Gabe’s love and I will somehow be ok.
Be sure to grab this book, read it with a box or two of Kleenex and thank me later!!

This book broke me in ways I never knew a book could. I have followed the Guardians since they were first launched. This was the perfect finish to an exceptional series, but…… I wasn’t ready for the way it ended, I am still shocked and trying to process why. You will definitely ugly cry so please be warned. Elle Masters goes right up there in my all time favourite authors. I am invested now in Cerberus, I have already read Ghost, am waiting for Brass. I don’t write reviews ever, but I had to let this Elle and all the readers just know how much I enjoyed the whole “Guardians” series.

OMG!!! Amazing!!!
This book will keep You on the edge of your seat. From the minute you start reading to the last page. It will also rip your heart out. Spoiler alert! When Hank dies I just about fell out of my chair. I was like no no no! It was heartbreaking and gut wrenching. But I can see Why Ellie felt it was important to write it the way that Hank spoke to her. She is an amazing author and I can't wait to see what she writes next!!!

We really went on a journey with her. This one made me want to reread everything from the very beginning to this wonderful, powerful, emotional ending. Thank you Ellie for the gift of all the Guardian Teams.

Ten stars! Best book ever! Ellie tore out my heart and stomped on it! And I loved every minute! Malfor has kidnapped the women and the men of Charlie Team are desperate to rescue them but have no idea where to start. Meanwhile everything around the headquarters seems to be going whacky. Lights flickering, electronics going down and what Info can be trusted. And Malfor is being his usual evil self. Lots of action and mind-blowing situations, and so much emotion. I must admit I shed quite a few tears, but there is a very satisfying ending. Ellie really outdid herself with this one. Loved it!

I’ve said it before, but I need to say it again. Ellie Masters has outdone herself. She went places she has never gone before. She took some risks, and they have paid off. Whatever you are expecting, you’re probably wrong! Rescuing Ally, Part II, is unbelievable in every way. Heartbreaking barely touches the surface. The emotional rollercoaster she took me on was a no-holds-barred, full-on, mind-blowing explosion from start to finish. Did she break me—MOST DEFINITELY! Did she heal me—EVENTUALLY!
Ellie has UNDOUBTEDLY sent the Guardian Hostage Specialists out with a bang. Malfor is more sadistic than I ever imagined. I’m not sure how I didn’t know the depth of his sick and twisted mind. The Guardians are more determined than ever and risk it all to rescue their women. The Charlie’s Angels are the toughest, most resilient women ever, and they are always there for each other. Never giving up hope, even in the face of devastating tragedy. Ally is so strong and ready to risk everything to somehow signal the Guardians, to save her friends, but more importantly, to save the world from ever experiencing the wrath of Malfor.
The action and suspense in Rescuing Ally far surpass anything the Guardians have experienced before. There were times when my brain just couldn’t comprehend the words. There were times when my emotions needed a break, and so I stepped away. When I came back, the pain I felt returned tenfold. The love story between Hank, Ally, and Gabe was both heartfelt and heart-wrenching. Their love is insurmountable, and their bond is unbreakable, and that bond brought me to tears, over and over again. Their story has lived in my mind for days on end. Ellie has UNDOUBTEDLY sent the Guardian Hostage Specialists out with a bang. Malfor is more sadistic than I ever imagined. I’m not sure how I didn’t know the depth of his sick and twisted mind. The Guardians are more determined than ever and risk it all to rescue their women. The Charlie’s Angels are the toughest, most resilient women ever, and they are always there for each other. Never giving up hope, even in the face of devastating tragedy. Ally is so strong and ready to risk everything to somehow signal the Guardians, to save her friends, but more importantly, to save the world from ever experiencing the wrath of Malfor.
The action and suspense in Rescuing Ally far surpass anything the Guardians have experienced before. There were times when my brain just couldn’t comprehend the words. There were times when my emotions needed a break, and so I stepped away. When I came back, the pain I felt returned tenfold. The love story between Hank, Ally, and Gabe was both heartfelt and heart-wrenching. Their love is insurmountable, and their bond is unbreakable, and that bond brought me to tears, over and over again. Their story has lived in my mind for days on end. It truly is Ellie’s best work, and I can’t wait to see where she takes us next.

Ally, Hank, and Gabe's story is highly emotional, suspenseful, dangerous, vengeful, and full of their love. Tears will fall, hearts will gasp, and lives will be remade. I thoroughly enjoyed their story.

Fantastic follow up to Rescuing Ally (part 1). Blew all my expectations. Emotional, action packed and totally unexpected. Definitely a 5 star read it til you’re done treasure.

You're right Ellie masters I can't stop reading. It was gut wrenching to lose Hank. The characters I've followed in Charlie team became real through your writing. I hope the next series is just as gripping as this one was. You write good and I've recommended you multiple times to my friends. Were hooked!
