What did I like? This gave me a ton to think about. I am at that point that I want to set up my own studio and basically knew what I needed but this book gives you details about how to go about it. One thing that I had not given any thought to is the color of the walls or the light from the window. The information about the individual lights and their functions was very interesting.

What will you like? Detailed information about the types of setups for specific results and lots of information on the actual types of photo results. How to control the environment for each of the shoots and which lights to use with an explanation of how each operates. Overall a great guide book for getting started in your own studio.

No especificó

Es un libro para aproximarse, de forma muy básica, a un seteo de iluminación fotográfica. Sin embargo es bastante ameno y divertido de leer.

Although specifically for setting up home studio lighting, this book has seriously taken the mystery out of photography for me. "How to Set Up..." is a user-friendly manual to creating the perfect shots inside your home studio. Amber Richards does an awesome job at packaging her experience and knowledge of studio lighting into this useful resource; which makes it the perfect book for anyone looking to convert a spare room into a studio. Also, she gives awesome detail to the various aspects of photography. Richards discusses visual art elements necessary for studio lighting and lighting equipment. After reading this book I can honestly say I have a better understanding of the how light makes the difference in shooting quality images.

For free you got what you pay go for Google and you'll get more

I have my home studio setting and I have been improving it a few at a time. I though I would find specific information and a way to rise my bar but this book will help you with nothing. go to the web or youtube and you will invest better your free time.

Good for Beginners

It's ok. Doesn't go into much depth to fully understand photography setup. It was free so can't complain. Good quick start guide.

This book don't worth 2.99. The material are vague and not well explained. Try a better author with more ratings.

It's decent, but I found it to be lacking in the level of detail I was looking for. I would suggest that you're going to use this book, get a supplemental text as well.
