I've always shot for the moon, but if you'd told me I'd be earning seven figures at twenty-four, I would never have believed you.

And if you'd told me that I'd earn every penny of that success by selling my body and my soul, I'd have laughed in your face.

Still. Here I am at Seraph, an elite agency that recruits only the most well-educated, accomplished and discreet women.

Our area of expertise? "Full service" executive assistants to the most powerful men in the world.

Whatever our bosses need, we provide. Day or night, in the boardroom or the bedroom.

It's every bit the challenge I've longed for, and it's more fulfilling than I could ever have dreamt. My secret? Discipline. An open mind. And rock-solid boundaries.

None of which are a problem, until I cross paths with Gabriel Sullivan, a former Catholic priest turned billionaire CEO whose appetites are voracious as his demons are relentless.

In the midst of all his inner turmoil and outer pressures, I know it's my very impassiveness that he values the most.

Too bad he's the only man I've worked for who makes me want to burn every one of my boundaries to ash.

Audacity is a scorching hot billionaire, age gap, workplace romance spun off from my Alchemy series. It's the story of Athena, Anton Wolff's "full service" executive assistant in Unveil.

There are group activities along the way, but Athena and Gabriel get a monogamous HEA.

One thing I love about Elodie Hart is how intelligently she writes. I consider myself a smart person, and I am very well-read, but I still find myself learning new words when I read her books. Her background knowledge is so broad across so many sectors! Her experience allows her characters have so much SUBSTANCE! Their conversations are deep and meaningful and thought-provoking.

I found Audacity to be a bit less spicy than the Alchemy books, but no less compelling to read! It was incredibly refreshing to read characters that are well-developed and real. I appreciated that Athena wasn’t rebelling against unhealthy parental relationships, or damaged from prior romantic relationships. She was strong, and seemed to be raised in a healthy environment. It wasn't trauma that led her to her unconventional life; it was practicality. Likewise, Gabe had loving parents, and although they were not perfect, he didn’t have loads of childhood trauma to overcome in adulthood. Of course they both have issues, but it didn’t prevent either one of them from communicating clearly to one another most of the time and forming a healthy relationship.

I love how Gabe and Athena fell in love! They really did just “fall.” The relationship seemed effortless between them, both the “day job” and the “extra” elements. The love just sort of developed without anyone’s permission or recognition! And when it really came down to making a choice for his business, Gabe stood up for Athena based on her intelligence and business acumen, not because of how beautiful she was, or how he felt about her emotionally.

I truly loved this book! It has a very different feel than the Alchemy books, and I’m here for it! I can’t wait to read Marlowe and Brendan’s story!!

Let me start out by saying that if the catholic related spice that was in Unfurl bothers you, you really really need to skip this one. While I think you can get away with reading this book as a stand alone without reading the Alchemy series, the role of some of the characters and past happenings mentioned make much more sense if you have read it first. I really wanted to like this book as much as I enjoyed the Alchemy series, but I just couldn’t buy into it. The dynamic between the FMC and MMC felt very cringy, especially at the beginning. She was always trying to push his boundaries to get him to let loose and then it also seemed like he was trying to push his own boundaries to please her… it just felt like he was being coerced into doing things he really didn’t want to do to make her happy even when it seemed to torture him. This is an Elodie Hart book, so there is a ton of spice. When we weren’t in spicy scenes, I was bored for a few chapters reading about them trying to run the business. Maybe if I was in finance or something that would have been better, and I realize that the purpose is to show how amazing and competent the FMC is in both aspects of her job, but it just didn’t translate for me. The ending was sweet and there was a good callback from Unfurl, but I feel like I wanted to see more of them after the conflict resolution to feel better about their relationship in the end. I think maybe the catholic priest story line just isn’t for me. That’s not to say that I’m not 100% looking forward to the next one, because I definitely am. This one just didn’t hit for me.

loved the alchemy series but z*onism in 2025 is crazyyy

sorry but what the fuck is this:

“‘You know,’ I continue, ‘if I’d been a Renaissance artist painting the Madonna, I would have asked you to sit for me.’ Her eye roll may be cutting, but her smile turns pleased. ‘Come off it.’ ‘I’m serious. It’s very unlikely that Our Lady looked anything like you—she was Israeli, after all—but so many artists painted her with fair skin and Western European features.’”

sorry but in this day and age, to write this in a book written in 2025 is VIOLENT . idc if this is a light hearted romance book. read a history book and write better jfc

Wowza! This is not a book for the faint of heart. I was really testing my "straight face while listening to the smuttiest of smut" face while listening to this at the coffee shop. But I expected nothing less from Elodie Hart. This spin-off from the Alchemy series is just as spicy and I flew through it.

Gabe and Athena are absolute fire together. I couldn't look away, or in this case, couldn't turn it off, once I started. They were so compatible and the whole experience of them meeting to working together to falling in love was delightful.

This is definitely a rosy look at s*x work, and the author makes no bones about that. However, that's part of the fantasy. Also, Seraph as a business makes a certain amount of sense, in a romance world anyway. Plenty of people, both men and women, have slept their way to the top. The ladies of Seraph just have a contract in writing for it. What could go wrong?

Gabe was something special too. I really enjoyed how the author didn't have him completely turn his back on his priestly ways. He just didn't quite fit in his previous role, but he is still compassionate, kind, and willing to listen and soothe people who need it. It was a really interesting pairing between him and Athena. They both stretched each other. It was really beautiful.

Also... I totally want some men to be start working for Seraph too... Gabe's assistant deserves to find love that way too. Haha! We get teased with it and I want to see it, so bad!

The fallen priest and the fallen woman🥹

I feel so fortunate to have received an ARC of Audacity! It was so easy to fall in love with Gabe and Athena. When we first met Athena in Unveil, I was absolutely intrigued to learn more about her and Seraph and boy oh boy did Sara deliver!!!

I absolutely loved the way Sara included so much about the Catholic Church in a way that showed why Gabe had such a strong faith. It was truly a contrast from what you see in the relationship that Belle and Dex have with their religious upbringing in Alchemy.

It was so beautiful to watch Gabe adjust to life outside the priesthood and how organically he and Athena fell for each other while in such an atypical working relationship. The way he fought for her with his family….😍😍😍 I loved every single second of this book and how much Gabe loved and supported Athena (in and out of the bedroom😏)

One of my absolute favorite parts of the book is when Gabe is telling Athena how he prays to Our Lady and about his favorite prayer, Salve Regina, and proceeds to say the prayer for her, whispering in her ear….
UGH ANGEL GABE🥹

Cannot wait to see what the great and magical Sara comes up with for Bren and Marlowe!😅😅

Incredibly well written characters who were elegant, eloquent, and great communicators. The depth of the conversation in this book is swoon worthy, this couple can respectfully discuss religion, business, or any other topic and it was so refreshing. The spice was top tier as well. Gabe is such a softie and has such a great heart.

I am so far removed from religion that I had to look up quite a few things but I learned a lot about Catholicism in the process and that made the reading experience even better.

I received an advance copy of this book and am leaving this review voluntarily.

I really enjoyed this book. I was really curious how this was going to go as soon as we knew we were getting a Seraph series. It’s very interesting.
It’s a badass woman and a golden retriever ex priest who hires her from a company that supplies “full service” executive assistants. It’s somehow wholesome and also dirty as hell?
Elodie does a great job in setting the scene and she’s so incredibly descriptive in her writing. It really brings you into the world.
I love that she writes these fantasy scenarios and makes them plausible. Because like in what world is an ex priest a CEO who hires a (very educated) sex worker to be his executive assistant? This works and it doesn’t even feel improbable. The journey from colleagues to them falling in love feels incredibly authentic.
The only reason I can’t give this 5/5 stars is simply because there is a lot of finance talk and that went completely over my head and took me out of it a bit when they would get into it.
Overall I recommend this book and I’m excited for Bren and Marlowe’s book!!

Thank you so much to Elodie (Sara) for allowing me to be a part of her ARC team in exchange for an honest review!

I loved the Alchemy series so I had high expectations stepping into the world of Seraph… And I was not disappointed!

Having read Unveil I was already intrigued by Athena’s backstory and Elodie crafted quite the powerhouse. Her contrast with Gabe was just perfect and the characters were so well written. This book is SPICY and sweet and of course there’s a HEA💗

If you’re a fan of billionaire romance, an age gap and workplace romances then this one is for you!

PS if any Catholic related spice bothers you, I would give this one a miss

The 1st book in Elodie Hart’s Seraph series, AUDACITY, sets the stage beautifully for this spicy series that features a fleet of Executive Assistants who provide top tier executives with quite a bit “more” than the average EA.

Athena is confident, intelligent, & beautiful — & she truly loves her job. And she’s VERY good at every facet of her work, but she’s also very good at keeping work at the office (or the occasional swanky hotel room). Until she meets Gabe Sullivan, her new boss who also used to be a priest.

Gabe needs some help in adjusting back to life as something other than a Catholic priest as he has recently taken over for his newly-retired father. And he also needs a more convenient way of taking care of his personal needs that won’t have him falling asleep in unexpected places. Good friends introduce him to the concept of Seraph, & to Athena in particular. After a meeting & a dinner, & a sampling of what each of them has to offer, Athena & Gabe enter an agreement to work together (& more), for purely transactional reasons.

And yet, they end up being so much more than just a billionaire executive & his frighteningly smart & utterly gorgeous EA.

Yes, this book is wonderfully spicy, but it’s also incredibly sweet & insightful at times, & Gabe & Athena both have issues to overcome, but the book most definitely has a fantastic HEA & I’m excited for the rest of this series!

Spoiler alert

Wow, this is what you can call - sophisticated romance smut. You will meet a strong, smart and independent FMC. The MMC needs help to achieve his power in the business world and there you will meet Athena. Gabriel (MMC) is not a weak person, don’t get me wrong, but together they are unstoppable.

We all have our book boyfriends, but he has a heart bigger than his ego. It is nice too find a «safe spot» also, we all need it sometimes. It actually made me «happy» reading this book, and I usually read TW like a menu. Just read it, it is good for your heart and dreams. But I definitely learned something new about myself- a priest kink? Well that was a pleasant suprise

Familiar with the Alchemy serie? If not, you have missed something unique. I recommend reading those first. One of my favorite serie of all time. Spicy as they come

YOU ARE NOT READY FOR AUDACITY!!!
This book is straight-up FIRE 🔥.
Gabe and Athena are such a match, while also being opposites in every way except their intellect.
A powerhouse of a woman, who’s a “fully service” executive assistant, and a former priest-turned-CEO who’s a complete cinnamon roll with a filthy mouth. They are explosive!
If you loved the Alchemy series, this series is going to be for you - the whole concept of the Seraph agency is such a brilliant way to continue all of the smutty goodness from the previous series. If you liked “slave night” in Endulate, you are not ready for “Prima Nocta”.
LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book - this will likely end up as being one of my top reads of the year ♥️.

I was graciously given this ARC to read and review for my honest opinion.

Is it too much to ask for the accurate depiction of Mary. Is it too much to know she’d have been PALESTINIAN not Israeli.

Christ on a stick we had a Catholic pope who does nightly calls with the Christian’s in Gaza. 0 excuse lmao.

Also, the relationship and book in general was very boring. Lots of spice. I miss Unfurl and Undulate.

Spice Level: 🌶🌶🌶
7-8 very spicy scenes!

So the thing about these books is they’re not going to be for everyone. Are they really spicy? Yes. Are they really well written? Also yes. However, they have very strong religious aspects to them. So if that’s not your thing, you’re probably not going to enjoy this series. However, if you can look past that or if it doesn’t bother you, you won’t regret reading them because whew baby the spice is spicy!
For example, this particular book has Gabriel, who is a priest. Well, he was a priest. But he left the priesthood and found his playboy self, and he visits the sex club Alchemy, which is the previous series. But he has now started to find that he just doesn’t have time to be a billionaire and go to the sex club, he’s too exhausted.

Athena is a very well-educated, very smart, very attractive woman who works as an executive assistant and also services her bosses during the workday in a sexual manner. But she also does high-powered executive assistant work for their companies, so she gets kind of the best of both worlds. She is now working for Gabriel. Basically, they work together and f*ck at any time during the day he wants to. He still struggles with his former priesthood ways, and she "does not have a religious bone in her body unless it’s his bone", haha.

I was very much here for the spice. I didn’t love the amount of religious talk, but the spice overrode that. These aren’t binge books for me, they are the ones I pick up when I need some good spice that I know won’t disappoint!

I never take this long to read a book that’s less than 800 pages, because I eat up ms harts books.

Athena and Gabe’s story was written well just not my jam, super rushed anticlimactic ending, and the spice was mild. Especially comparing to her other books. Would I suggest this not really, her Alchemy series is the her Crown Jewels. That being said I loved all the Easter eggs especially the office birthday scene with Anton!!! 🥵

If Elodie writes I will read it. Loved this book, just as all her other books.

This book truly touched me. There is so much depth in this story. For both Gabe and Athena.
She is such an extremely smart business woman who knows her worth and strenght.
The fact she is this smart and has so much knowledge about so many things. Yhis woman knows her stuff and fuck me I love her.

She truly rescues Gabe. But he saves her just as much. He is the one person she needs the most.

I fell in love with Gabe from page one. He feels save, trustworthy, caring.

The love for each other overflows the pages. It gets you, you feel it.

2.5 stars that I’ll round up to 3. I loved the first 30% or so but then it felt like the story just kind of sputtered around without a strong plot. Not sure I felt the chemistry between the leads as much as I wanted to. But I did appreciate the writing and would read more from this author.

"I have to say," he continues, wrapping an arm around me, "I find it quite ironic that you're scared of weakening me, when you're the one who helped me find my true strength."

This was such a beautifully written story about a formed priest turned billionaire CEO & his “full service” executive assistant that he hires.

Gabe was next level amazing. He’s the perfect example of a cinnamon roll priest with the biggest, kinky heart & I loved him so much!! Athena was a sexy badass who had the biggest, most wonderful brain & was the perfect match for Gabe. The two of them were magical & everlasting.

Their love story was woven so well I was both sweaty & swoony pretty much throughout the entirety of the story!! It was written so well I was like hello poetic spice??? I’m so excited for the next book!!!

This book does not hit the same way unfurl did. Not by a long shot. The authors complexity of writing I’m sure is supposed to come across as higher class, but to your average smut reader, it was not just an easy read like I was expecting. Equally, I’ve read books with religious themes/kinks before, but this one is super heavy on the religion talk that I was lost because I know nothing about it. The spice was not enough to keep me engaged. DNF at 50%

of course elodie hart has done it again!
had the pleasure of being apart of the arc team yet again and i always like to take my time reading these.

gabe is an ex priest who decided to part ways from the priesthood to take over as CEO for his fathers billion dollar company (loves a billionaire). gabe get hold of an alchemy membership but his new lifestyle has taken a toll and he is exhausted to the point where he is found by the cleaners in alchemy asleep in one of their private rooms. oooooops. this is where athena comes in, athena works for seraph which is a company who provide full service EA’s to billionaires. and when i say full service…i mean FULL service 🌶️ gabe decides to hire athena to avoid having another alchemy incident, and the more they work together the more they realise there is a deeper connection.

i honestly loved gabe and athena so much. athena is up their with one of the strongest and most commanding female characters sara has written. and gabe is definitely up their with the most thoughtful and kindest of natures. but do not expect a kind man in the spicy scenes!!!

of course this book is hella spicy, this is elodie hart we’re talking about! and i will have athena’s birthday on my mind for the foreseeable future 🥵
but in saying this, sara has a way of writing about extremely taboo stories and making them flourish and become something beautiful. her books get me so emotional sometimes and audacity definitely got me there (no tears tho because i’m a heartless bitch).

i’m so excited to see where this series takes us, i’ve seen it’s brendan and marlowe’s turn and i can’t wait to see how this one pans out 🔥

I ADORE Gabe and Athena’s story! I mean, a former Priest-turned-business owner (who still has his faith) and an Executive Assistant with benefits (who is a badass and I want to be her for a day) !? Gah! The chemistry is HAWT between these two! Low angst (I mean, a bit but not devastating,) high spice, fast-paced, an absolutely delicious MMC and a BOSS FMC who owns-her-sh!t.
Gabe has recently left the Priesthood to run his family business, and hires Athena from the exclusive Seraph to take care of ALL of his needs. And WHOA, does she take care of his needs.
Elodie Hart is a brilliant wordsmith, the writing is rich and decadent. The details are always so impressive about business, high fashion, art, history, religion… and soooo complimentary of the story, they add to the opulent feel of the whole book without distracting or deterring. Like, who are you, Elodie Hart? Your knowledge base is ridiculous! I am so blessed to be on the ARC team! I will obsess over this one for a while. Freely and happily reviewing and recommending this book!

Here we go again with the “this is an amazing book and Elodie is definitely one of my favourite authors” speech.

But in all seriousness IT IS!!!

She has such a way of making the characters so real and the emotions so powerful. We feel what they’re feeling and we get to go on a journey with them. I love every second of it.

Gave and Athena’s story wasn’t one I was expecting to move me so much but shame is something that a catholic upbringing will give you for sure and the way Elodie portrays it and how she shows us that it can be overcome? I LOVED IT!!!

And the spice? OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Don’t be me and read this in public. I had to take gallons of water to pretend I wasn’t dying.

So yes, Elodie did it again and she sits comfortably on the top five of my favourite romance authors.

I was excited for this book; for this spin off from the Alchemy series. We have already met Athena in that hot as hell office scene with Gen & Anton. I knew then she would be an amazing character and omg she is.

Athena is a powerhouse. She is strong, determined and unafraid of her own kinks. She knows what she wants in business and in the bedroom. She is definitely one of my favourite FMCs ever.

Gabriel is an ex-priest who has turned lay to take over his fathers company. He might have been a priest but this man knows his way around a woman. And oooofff he’s hot!! 🔥🔥

When Gabe employs Athena as his EA, sparks fly. These two are perfect together! I loved their story, the glimpses of past loved characters and the spice. Oh Lord the spice 🤣🤣

[e-ARC] This was a fantastic book. I was really curious how the role Athena took up in Gabriel's office would turn into a HEA. In a word, I would say empowering.

I really loved that Athena was such a strong and confident woman.

I also loved that Gabriel had such a faith-filled heart and just wanted to do something worthwhile.

Athena and Gabriel, together, were unstoppable and have quickly become a new favourite of mine. They just brought out the best of each other, and I thoroughly enjoyed every step.

I came away from this book with all the emotions. Elodie Hart has once again blended faith, empowerment, and love into a story that will continue to turn in my mind long after I read the last page.

I wasn’t super impressed by this book. I listened to the audiobook, and the performance was…meh, however, I do feel like it made the book better than it would be if you were just reading it.

This book is pretty spicy 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️. If you’re not interested in “gang bangs” I would skip over those parts. I thought the FMC’s actions, when she was propositioning the MMC to have sex, was just extra, and it’s like the author just wanted the readers to question religion - almost like a hidden agenda in the book. Idk…like why do you have to make the first few times of having sex disrespecting his faith with sex, and call him “father”. Ugh.
I did like how they were both honest with each other about how they felt immediately, when the time came, and didn’t hold back - they weren’t “scared” to admit their feelings out loud. And I thought the MMC was very sweet to the FMC.

I ate this up! Thank you for this ALC.
Ex Priest, leaves the church to take over his family billionaire business. Goes to an agency and hires Athena with an MBA diploma and a specialty in relieving the stress 😉 😉

Check your triggers. I honestly thought the narration was top tier! I was so immersed in this story. I truly enjoyed it. This was a first for this author for me and if this is how she writes, it won’t be my last!!!

I was SO ecstatic to receive an ARC for Audacity. Just when I thought Elodie couldn’t possibly get better after Alchemy, she gifts just with Audacity and the Seraph series.

I have fallen quickly and wholly for Athena and Gabe. Athena is such a relatable FMC for me, and Gabe is just such a good man.

The plot is never sacrificed for spice with Elodie. The plot is plotting and the spice is spicing here. I also adore that Elodie doesn’t overuse the extremely tired miscommunication trope and third act break up. Adult characters who communicate like adults? Amazing.

I don’t necessarily recommend this book to practicing Catholics because things get…blasphemous. Or maybe practicing Catholics should read it. Maybe you have a priest k!nk. I don’t know your life. This book paints a far more optimistic view of Catholicism than Unfurl and Unstitch of the Alchemy series, but is still critical and contemplative.

If Elodie writes it, I’m reading it, forever and ever and ever.

Gabriel was perfection. He truly was written so beautifully. He struggled with his guilt and his feelings of failures and fought hard against them. Enter Athena. Athena was strong and confident and the exact woman he needed. There’s a line in the book that says “together we are unstoppable” and it’s true. They bring out the best in each other. Elodie does it again and creates a dynamic duo full of fun banter, great spark, and holy moly the spice. Can’t wait to see what’s next in Seraph book 2!
