A Very Titan Christmas is book 14 in the Titan series and follows new team member Bryce as he finds himself getting a second chance with his high school love, Rachel.
Bryce was raised in a very dysfunctional family. He and his younger brother, Montana, were always being moved around the United States whenever their parents needed to escape. Over the last few years, he and Montana had worked with Titan on joint projects. When Bryce lost Montana, he did not know what to do with himself. Enter Jared Westin and Titan.
Rachel was raised in Silverberry Ridge. Her father is a United States Senator. Her mother is desperate for grandchildren. When she and Bryce were in high school, they dated. Until his parents decided it was time to move on. He broke her heart, but he also broke his own heart.
Rachel had not planned on coming home for the holidays. Until her boss gives her the chance to write a cover story for the magazine about Christmas in Silverberry Ridge. So off she goes, heading home to cover her dream story. But she has no idea what she is in store for when she gets home.
Titan has been tasked with providing additional security support for Mrs Porter over the holidays. The details of the project are on a need to know basis only. Since Bryce is familiar with the locale and the clients, he is tasked with being on the team providing the service. But when a blast from his past appears, he is in for way more than he ever bargained for.
When Rachel shows up at the family resort, her mother is on a mission to set her up with any and all single men in the area. In order to prevent the continual set ups, Rachel announces to her mother she is seeing someone. You guessed it. Bryce is that someone. Boy will this throw a monkey wrench in to the security plan they had.
Now Bryce is assigned as Rachel's security detail. He has to follow her on all of her research outings with her mother. They go to the marketplace. They go ice skating. They go to the textile co-op. But the best one was placing an ornament on the Christmas tree.
Each day, Bryce and Rachel are growing closer and closer. This fake relationship is turning real. Surprise!
When the blizzard of the century hits, these two will further advance their relationship. And will Titan descends upon the resort for their annual Christmas party, Boss Man will call a spade a spade.
But when a leak threatens both the summit and the Porter's personal safety, Titan jumps in to assess the situation. But the threat is too close and will threaten the Titan family.
I love revisiting our favorite Titan family. I have never laughed so hard at Boss Man when he just does what Sugar signs him up for. Yes, he loves it, but he can't admit it. Watching all of the Titan kids interact and post on Tik Tok was truly entertaining, especially when they got a couple of the dads involved.
Watching the Porter's interact is nothing short of astounding. Mrs Porter has made a point of letting everyone know she wants grandchildren. But what is really behind this sudden need? Secrets will be revealed, both personal and professional, that will lead to a better understanding of the family dynamics.
I loved reading this story and am hoping to see a new generation of Titan. The OG Titan are getting to a point of wanting to spend more time with family. So here is hoping we get a Titan: Next Generation series from Ms Harber.
Bryce Richmond agreed to work for one year for a private security agency called Titan Group. He regrets that it is close to Christmas since it reminds him of everything he lacks: a home, family, and his deceased brother. Seeing all the too-much decoration was unpleasant. So his boss sent him to Silverberry Ridge, Vermont, where he had gone to high school and left right after graduation. There is a security summit going on there and Titan was asked to supplement the protection. The summit would be held at Senator William Porter's family lodge which Bryce knew very well. So Titan will be protecting only the Senator's wife, Eloise Porter. Should Bryce tell him Eloise is the mother of his ex-girlfriend Rachel who supposedly won't be there... and even then Eloise was difficult to handle? A team of 4 would be assigned to her: Bryce, Roman, Cash, and Jax.
Rachel at 36 had been dating a guy simply because all her friends were married and her mother expected her to have a guy. But he was nothing important to her, and he decided to break up which didn't upset her in the least. As she headed back to the office, her mother texted to ask her to attend the holiday with a "special" friend, but Rachel said she was headed to a meeting and had to go now. She was about to ask for a promotion through writing her first cover story. She'll be spending the entire month at home, but she could survive, right? Without being asked, her mother planned every moment of her day, and drafted additional schedules for several additional weeks! And while they met over coffee and cookies, Eloise pointed out a member of her security team while another remained hidden in the coffee shop somewhere. And two more were sweeping the grounds outside. Another man, Greg, walked in. He was a redesign decorator her mom hired to renovate some of their cabins. Her mother left the two of them at the table while she went off to allegedly take care of something else. Was her mother up to something? Apparently she had wanted Rachel and Greg to meet each other! So Greg left and Rachel tried to explain to her mother that she was not willing to be set up by her mother with a man just because he’s financially secure, owns his own company, has never married, and wants kids. She was so upset with her mother that she suddenly turned to walk away, dumping hot chocolate all over a man. He asked if she was okay, and she knew the voice! It was Bryce! Had her mother invited him here as well?? To stop her mother's matchmaking, Rachel is ready to beg him to pretend to be her boyfriend over the holiday. But what will happen when Rachel is kidnapped by someone posing as a security officer, then choked until she passes out? Will Bryce figure out what happened? Can he save her?
I really enjoyed the mix of getting to reconnect with some favorite characters and their expanded families from books I read many years ago and the romance of a new Titan couple falling in love.
Bryce and Rachel dated while in high school before he broke both their hearts by breaking up with her when his family moved across the country. It’s two decades later and he’s now working for Titan Group and his first assignment is at her family’s Vermont resort.
Rachel Porter finally has the opportunity to write a cover story for the travel magazine she works for and the subject is her hometown’s Christmas festival. The only downside is a month with her mother who has become overly zealous about matchmaking and the potential for Rachel to give her grandchildren. Mrs. Porter was obnoxiously out of control with her awkward scheduling ‘surprise’ introductions to men in Rachel’s father’s orbit.
When Rachel runs into Bryce, both are stunned to see the other after nearly 20 years and the hurt of their breakup immediately rises to the surface. The storyline gets interesting when Rachel’s frustration with her mother’s incessant matchmaking attempts has her lying that she’s already dating someone even though she had just told her mother of a recent breakup.
Her spontaneous statement that she’s reconnected with Bryce and they’ve decided to date again (fake dating) adds some tension and humor to the story. Bryce is upset because Rachel’s scheme puts his new job at risk, and he has to update Jared Westin (Boss Man).
Between watching Rachel and Bryce start to fall back in love while they enjoy the Christmas-themed events around town, we see the Titan women planning the annual Titan Christmas party with their kids (babies to teens) enjoying being together.
This was a fun reconnection with characters from a favorite series with a fresh mission and new couple. So entertaining and enjoyable!
I received a free ARC from the author; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.
Oh, how I love being back in the world of Titan Group! I have missed these guys so much.
Bryce Richardson is on his first official assignment with Titan Group in the holiday town of Silverberry Ridge. A town he once resided and fell in love with the daughter of the very woman he's been assigned to protect. Rachel Porter finds herself home for the holidays with the intention of not only visiting her parents, but hopefully to capture the essence of her small hometown at the shot of a cover story for the magazine she works for. The last person she thought she'd run into was Bryce. Let the fireworks begin lol.
Rachel's mother is a piece of work to say the least lol. That woman is determined to set her daughter with anyone that will have her. Feeling the heat from all the "meetings" her mother has set for her, Rachel takes things into her own hands and tells her mother she and Bryce have rekindled their romance. Bossman is not amused with the new setup, but choses to work it into their plan of protection. Doing their best to "sell" their new relationship to her mother, the sparks fly, the chemistry sizzles and lines are definitely crossed.
I loved this story so much. As with any Titan story, there's loads of action. I would love to visit a little town like Silverberry Ridge. I loved Bryce and Rachel and how there was no stopping them on finding their love for each other again. I loved all of Titan Group being together for the holidays, and I would pay money to actually see Bossman in a Santa hat LOL! I see another re-read of the series in my near future.
If you're looking to get in the festive spirit but can't stomach all the saccharine sweet Hallmark movie type books. Get yourself a Titan style Christmas - romance, suspense and found family in every book and this time with an added dollop of holiday heat!
Bryce and Rachel were once young love but got ripped apart. Rachel always felt out of his league being a Senator's daughter and now he's got to act all professional whilst acting as her bodyguard. Rachel however wants to add another task - fake boyfriend.
There are some bug themes hiding amongst the holiday cheer: Grief, redemption, second chance love, found family, well meaning but interfering parents.
Rachel being a journalist leaps at the chance to write a story all about her home town during the happiest time of the year but did not imagine the level of danger she would find herself in - and that's just the matchmaking from her mum. The details of the hush hush summit get leaked and the bad guys start to infiltrate the town!
You can never go wrong with a Titan book. They encapsulate found (if dysfunctional) family. Bossman is the foulmouthed, fiery tempered dad of them all. Sugar the wisecracking, bada$$ mum and the other Titan employees are the irritating siblings and cousins! Bossman may be this intense, alpha-coded male but he knows who the true boss is - Sugar. He'll just "yes babe" to whatever she suggests, lol. Titan Kids posting on Tik Tok sounds like a complete hoot and they even rope in their parents on occasion. I would totally be a TT follower of Titan escapades.
A Very Titan Christmas by Cristin Harber is a fake dating, second chance, high school sweethearts, heart warming Christmas romance with a little bit of Titan action to tie it all up nicely in a perfect Christmas gift bow 🎁
Bryce Richmond is the newest recruit to team Titan and while he has joined them on a few missions in the past he is now part of the permanent team. His first assignment is to assist with running security for a Senator of a small town where he spent a few of his high school years. Simple and easy job to ease into his new role, that is until the Senator’s daughter comes home unexpectedly for Christmas … oh and she just happens to be his high school ex girlfriend.
Teenage Rachel Porter was head over heels in love with Bryce and when he ended their relationship he broke her heart. Although she’s dated a few fellas over the years, she’s never truly let herself love another like she loved Bryce. Her mother is a grade A pain in the butt always trying to set Rachel up with anyone and everyone possible, so when their paths cross over Rachel takes an opportunity to convince Bryce to be her fake boyfriend.
Bryce and Rachel are perfect for each other, just 🤌🏻 chefs kiss! I loved the feeling of coming home with the appearances from the whole Titan Group, their partners and their children. It is truly nostalgic and I want to live in a world with these characters everyday.
Cristin Harber has been one of my favorite romantic suspense authors for a long time. It’s been a while since she released a book, so I was positively giddy to read this second-chance romantic suspense story with the fake dating trope. Bonus points that it’s a Christmas-themed book, as I love to read these no matter what time of year I pick one up.
Bryce and Rachel met in high school and dated until his family abruptly moved away. He ended the relationship to try to be fair to Rachel, not realizing how much it devastated her. Life moved on for both of them, but now they’re back in the same town for the Christmas holidays. He’s tasked with her safety. She needs a fake boyfriend to save her from her mother’s schemes to present her to every single man in this small town. Neither one anticipates the roller coaster ride they are about to embark upon.
The suspense in the book kept me guessing, but the ending seemed rushed where that part was concerned. Otherwise, it’s a good story with all your favorite Titans (and then some) making appearances. While this one can be read as a stand-alone title, I highly recommend all her Titan books in order. They are totally worth the binge read!
It was great to return with this crew of men who are Titan. This is book 14 in the series and Cristin came back strong.
This is the story of Bryce and Rachel. They were boyfriend and girlfriend in high school until Bryce’s family left abruptly and Bryce broke up with her leaving her heartbroken.
They meet up again when Bryce, Titan’s newest recruit, and the team are tasked to be security detail for her parents Senator and Mrs Porter. He wasn’t expecting her there, and when they bumped into each other (literally) it was an awkward reunion.
Little does he know he’s about to be included in her life in a way he didn’t expect when she claims he’s her boyfriend (fake) to keep her mum off her back with endless suitors.
As he is now reassigned to be her security detail because of the lie they find themselves getting closer and old feelings are bubbling to the surface. But will those feelings materialise into love??
Another great book in the Titan series and it was such a great pleasure to see everyone from Titan, wives and children included. The one liners and calculated direction from the women to their husbands is always a joy to read and have a laugh about.
I want to be a part of the Titan family!!!
***** This book was given to me as an E-arc for an honest review *****
I didn't know the author or the narrator, but both were excellent choices. I loved the author's writing style and was quickly captivated by Rachel and Bryce's story. The two have known each other since high school and were also a couple—until it ended and Bryce moved away. Now, as part of his job, Bryce is supposed to ensure Rachel's safety over the Christmas holidays, in the very city where they both used to live. I really like stories about second chances. Since Rachel knows Bryce, she also wants Bryce to pretend to be her boyfriend. What follows are exciting and entertaining hours of listening that fly by very quickly. I thought the chemistry between the two was fantastic. The tension rises when an attack takes place. And all this at Christmas time – the author has woven the appropriate Christmas spirit into the story well, creating a humorous, entertaining, and heartwarming listening experience. Jeffrey Kafer has done an absolutely fantastic job. He chose the right voices for each character and captured the emotions perfectly. His narration was lively and he brought the story to life! I'm already looking forward to more audiobooks with him and more books by the author!
I always love going back and catching up on characters from previous stories and this Titan Christmas didn’t disappoint. The interaction between all these characters remind me of why I love this series.
The newest addition is Bryce Richmond and Rachel Porter’s second chance at love. They knew each other in high school and he left her with a broken heart. Twenty years later Bryce is working for Titan as security for her father, Senator William Porter. To keep Rachel’s mom from trying to set her up with every available guy in town, Bryce and Rachel pretend to be in a relationship. The problem is it becomes real and when Rachel is in danger they both realize they want this second chance at happy ever after.
This author has seamlessly stepped back into the Titan world to bring us another couple and their road to happy ever after. The story is well written, easy to follow and you fall in love with our couple from the start. The secondary characters add so much to the story as well. As always there are bad guys who cause so much trouble for our Titan heroes. I absolutely recommend this book as well as the entire Titan series!
I love reading this author’s Titan stories. The cast of characters in the Titan Group is unique and always very entertaining.
This Christmas story is turbulent, but oh so sweet and has its moments of angst and humor. I’m not sure if I could tolerate a mother who micro-manages my life and attempts to control my future like Eloise does.
I enjoyed Rachel’s determination to do what it takes to further her career and takes it like a champ to spend the holiday with her parents. Her writing makes the little mountain town of Silverberry Ridge come alive and its Christmas spirit glows with happiness all around. Bryce has his hands full proving himself and his skills to Jared and this assignment will test the limits of Jared’s patience.
Jared is a true grumpy grinch, but now that he has a wife and kids to soften him around the edges, he even shows some Christmas cheer. I love this Titan family and the history they share. This author brings them all to life in a way that’s fun and heartwarming.
I will never not instantly buy one of these writing treasures, well worth every penney!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Suspense, Snowstorms, and Second Chances — the Perfect Holiday Romance! ❄️❤️
A Very Titan Christmas by Cristin Harber delivers everything you could want in a steamy, high-stakes holiday read. From the moment Bryce and Rachel are snowed in together, the tension crackles — equal parts danger, desire, and delicious nostalgia.
Bryce is the perfect mix of brooding protector and reformed bad boy, while Rachel is strong, smart, and determined to take control of her own story — even when that means turning to the man who once broke her heart. Their chemistry lights up every page, and when the Titan Group steps in, the action ramps up right alongside the emotion.
What I loved most is how Cristin Harber balances the pulse-pounding suspense with the cozy warmth of Christmas — twinkling lights, found family, and a love story that feels both powerful and tender. The familiar Titan crew popping in for the holidays made it feel like coming home.
A perfect blend of romance, danger, and holiday spirit — A Very Titan Christmas will melt your heart and heat up your winter nights. 🎄🔥.

Wonderful being back in Titan again, it's been so long and I've missed these guys. Romantic seasonal story set in a beautiful small town resort that goes all out for festivities leading upto the big day. Loved the idea of various activities, it sounded magical. Bryce is on his first major assignment and certainly doesn't expect to run into an ex from school days, but things soon become a little more complicated and he will protect her. Rachel combines a chance for a cover story with time in her favourite place and her family for the holidays, she finds more than expected when she arrives. Rachel is resourceful and a strong independent woman, she takes deep breathes and just deals as it comes. You know it wouldn't be Titan without action, suspense and the unexpected so I wasn't surprised about those crpping up. Loved Jared and the guys popping up and of course Mia, Sugar and the others had me smiling. I wonder with the kids starting to grow up, if will get a next generation of Titan and not just male operatives, I can see that being fun. Great read and I enjoyed every minute.
I have absolutely loved this series since the beginning, and (unbelievably) it's one of the very few that I can read a new book and remember all of the awesome characters vividly. Lol! Considering that I read between 6-10 books every week (depending on the length), that's not always easy for me to do. However, this series has been one of my favorites because it's full of action, mystery, suspense, drama, hilarious banter, crazy antics, and of course watching these "hard" men turn into family men was a beautiful thing. Evidently there's a new Titan series coming, and I really hope that it will still include some of our favorite characters from this series! Can't wait to read the new series. This story was a perfect holiday story, and the title says it all ~ it's a Very Titan Christmas! I would definitely recommend this book, series, and outstanding author.
A Very Titan Christmas is a fun and dramatic holiday tale with action, suspense, building chemistry, and so much more. The Titan Security group is a fascinating bunch, and main character Bryce is a dynamic addition to their team. I loved getting his back story and learning about why he is a solo Scrooge. Rachel is a sunshiney challenge to his world—high school sweethearts who are now finding their way back to one another. So sweet! Rachel is driven, determined, and gifted at what she does. It’s amazing to watch her learn who Bryce is now—and get the full picture of where he came from—with her spunk and sass thrown in. The plot twists were challenging, and the narrator did a great job of bringing these characters and this world to life.

I I am absolutely thrilled to be revisiting the beloved Titan family in this delightful holiday story. The humor is spot-on, and I particularly enjoyed the scenes with Boss Man, who always cracks me up with his unwavering loyalty to Sugar, even if he secretly relishes every moment. His character provides endless amusement, and I found myself laughing out loud at his antics. The interactions between the Titan kids were also incredibly entertaining, especially their engaging TikTok content, which was made even better when some of the dads got involved! The holiday spirit is woven seamlessly into the narrative, creating a heartwarming and humorous experience that perfectly complements the series. This book is a must-read for fans looking for a joyous and lighthearted escape during the festive season.

A Very Titan Christmas is a small town / fake dating / second chance love story packed with action (as expected in a military romance series) and Christmas holiday spirit.
Bryce and Rachel are both workaholics in their own fields and are not looking for romance but end up meeting unexpectedly during Bryce's first job with Titan. This forced proximity situation mixed with all the holiday activities and the suspense mixed in between makes this book a perfect book for the holidays.
The Titan series is #1 in the list of my favorite military romance books, and I'm so glad that after so many years I get to catch up with these characters that I love so much (and now with their wives and children!!!). Special shoutout to Jared Westin and all his grumpy awesomeness!
So nice to be back in the Titan world and my favourite season as well…Christmas😍
A great story to whet our whistles and get to see some of my favourite Titan characters. This story revolves around Bryce, a new addition to the Titan team and Rachel, the daughter of a sitting Senator, who just so happens to have been his first and only love from when he was in his home town years ago. The Senator is hold in a summit in their home town and Titan has been tasked with security…that is until the worst happens😳
A great story and I’m holding fingers we get some more Titan books in the future as I love these guys and gals🤞 I received an advanced copy via Booksprout and voluntarily leave my honest review🥰
Rachel was hoping not to return home until close to Christmas as her mother has really been pushing for Rachel to get married and have children. But when her latest assignment could mean a cover story, she bites the bullet and returns home early in December.
Titan Group has been selected to provide extra security for Senator Porter's wife. Bryce agrees to be part of the detail as Rachel isn't expected to be there. So, imagine his surprise when he literally runs into her.
I loved this second chance holiday romance which starts out with Rachel and Bryce pretending to be in a relationship. There are some surprising revelations with the Porter family and much cheer as the families of Titan Group get ready for Christmas.
This is the 14th book in this amazing series, and this is Bryce and Rchel’s story. Rachel is the daughter of a senator, with a manipulative mother, and she desperately needs Bryce to be her fake boyfriend for the holidays. Bryce never expected to be trapped in a secluded cabin in Vermont due to a snowstorm. This is a well written easy to read story, with found family, friendships, emotions, tension, angst, danger, suspense, intrigue, challenges, humour, witty banter, revelations, undeniable chemistry, Christmas cheer, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and unpredictable, addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from these talented authors’ whose work I highly recommend.
Brilliant narration from Jeffrey Kafer, who brings the action, drama, romance and spice to your ears.
Bryce and Rachel knew each other in high school and when he left her heart was shattered . Fate has her way and twenty years later Bryce is working for Titan. Who finds that is one the security for Senator Porter, Rachel’s father. Rachel’s mother keeps trying to set her up with different men, so to keep her family off her back Bryce and Rachel make a pack and pretend to in a relationship. What starts off as pretend, starts to feel and becomes real. When danger comes looking for Rachel, Bryce will not allow this second chance and the woman who he loves get away or become hurt.

Second time a charm! I've volunteered to read this book for United Indie Book Blog. I had the audio version of it. I love Jeffery Kafer did an amazing job with the characters. Can't wait to listen to more from him. This is Bryce and Rachel's story. Bryce and Rachel were a couple in high school and it ended badly. Years later they expectantly cross paths again. Now they’re back in the same town for the Christmas holidays. He’s tasked with her safety. A second chance romance, fake relationship with an ex, close proximity, danger, and a grumpy protector. This story was fun and fast-paced. The story is well written, easy to follow and you fall in love with our couple from the start. It's a must read!! Keep up the amazing work!
For a long time, Cristin Harber was my absolute favorite romantic military suspense author. But lately, she’s been hit or miss. So while I was looking forward to this one (I love a second chance romance) I was cautious with my expectations. Turns out I was right to temper my excitement about this newest release.
What I previously loved about this author was the action - and romance - started early. This time we get to 51 percent before anything happens romance wise…and 78 percent before anything even remotely suspenseful happens.
This was more like a Hallmark holiday movie than the romantic military suspense I love and was wanting to read. We get 180 pages of cutesy Christmas town and holiday events descriptions, and only 40 pages of what I actually read this author for.
So once again a “Christmas” book had me feeling more bah humbug than holiday spirit. 🙄
The author takes the readers to Silverberry Ridge where the Titan Group has been engaged as security for Senator Porter. Bryce Richmond , is one of the operatives assigned for protection. Whom he didn’t expect to see was Rachel Porter. The daughter of the senator and the woman he never forgot. When these two get snowed in will there be second chances for these two? What about the danger that surrounds the senator and the town? In addition to the main plot of the story, this story was special, as we get to “visit” with characters from previous stories. Making this a very special story. I was entrusted a copy of this book by Booksprout. . The opinions expressed are solely my own.
A sweet story. Bryce left the military and now works for Titan Group. He is sent to Silverberry Ridge to protect a senators wife during a summit. He used to date their daughter in high school. Rachel had no plans to go home for the holidays knowing her mom was trying to set her up on blind dates. She came up with an idea for a Christmas story and is sent home to write it. She sees Bryce again. In order to stop her mother from setting her up with men, she tells her mother that she is dating Bryce again and he goes along with it to help her out. What will happen now?.

This story came out at the perfect time as the weather is getting a bit cooler and the coffee shops have started selling their Pumpkin Spice drinks and I'm craving a good Christmas Story. I have been a fan of the Titan stories and to be gifted the chance to read a new one is a good early Christmas present. Bryce is a new member of the Titan security and when he re-connects with Rachael who he knew in high school and finds out that she needs his protection. Great story and I hope this is the start of more Titan books being released.

Bryce joins Titan Security and his first job is to guard his old girlfriend. When Rachel realizes that Bryce is guarding her, she devises a plan to fake date so her mom will quit trying to set her up. Rachel is writing an article on her hometown and also tries to get Bryce into the Christmas spirit. Things seem to be going good guarding Rachel and these two get close and realize what they used to have. All of Titan Security show up for their annual Christmas party and things go awry with their guarding detail. Bryce realizes that he has true feelings for Rachel and will do anything to save her. This was a great book and I loved seeing the Titan crew again. Loved the ending to the story!!
I had the audio version of it. I love Jeffery Kafer did an amazing job with the characters. Can't wait to listen to more from him. This is Bryce and Rachel's story. Joy to the Titan World! Join Boss Man and crew and a couple of new friends as they celebrate the holidays the only way Titan can, with laughter, suspense, heart and spice. A Very Titan Christmas is the perfect mix of cheesy holiday sweetness and all the spice, sass and action we come to expect from a Titan book. I loved having the old crew back together and Bryce and Rachel are wonderful new editions to the team. I couldn’t put it down and I don’t think you’ll be able to either.
