If you like the *Rainbow Magic* (RM) fairy series, you will surely love this series as well. It is bo 2asically the same. A mean villain (like Jack Frost in the RM books) called Grizelda is trying to sabotage the festival in the woods, and saving the day is left upto 2 human girls. The way they do this is really fun, though, and does indeed save the animals and the festival.

Very fun to read, since I have not read others from this series. But, I feel that it will come to be just like RM in the future, and be the same storyline over and over, just worded in a different way.

This book is about a mouse, Molly Twinkletail, who is always willing to help people. She runs into trouble when her squirrel friend, Woody Flufftail, asks for her help to go get some apples. She encounters an evil creature who is destroying an important tree in her community. Will she be able to save the treasure tree from destruction? With the help of her fellow furry friends, anything is possible.
This book is a fun, fictional book. What I like best is how Molly Twinkletail is always trying to help people and putting others before herself. She’s very caring and a good role model for all of us.
The author, Daisy Meadows, gently tells a message with this story. Even though Molly Twinkletail wants to help everyone, she needs to learn to not help the bad guys too. Stick only to the good guys.
I’m glad this book is a series, because I think in general that readers enjoy adventures that continue. Daisy Meadows leaves the reader at a good cliffhanger at the end of the book that makes me excited to read more.
I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 because although it is a good book, it is a simple story line. I prefer more complicated and longer books, but I think this book would be great for 1st – 3rd grade boys and girls.
