Global Read Challenge 101: Vatican City

This is a ridiculous book. It is very poorly written probably due to being a group project. Secondly it is mostly meaningless gossip. (I.E there once was a prelate who had WINE at lunch! People who work in the church want to be promoted) The timing of the book is especially funny given the scandals that were about to come out a few years later.

Avoid it if you can. I read it for my reading the world challenge. It read like old gossip - everyone who was worthy was screwed and the unworthy succeeded because they were unmoral and ruthless.
